Chapter Text
White Lily was walking through Timeless Kingdom, admiring the beauty that Pure Vanilla’s kingdom had. She smiled softly at the memories they had made there, all of them. Dark Cacao, Golden Cheese, HollyBerry, Pure Vanilla, and her. She walked through the church where she remembered Pure Vanilla being crowned the king.
She let out a sigh and looked out the window. “It’s getting very dark. I should probably return soon.” The cookie said quietly as she turned back to the door before freezing up at the sight. She saw a cookie there with blonde hair big enough to cover her completely from behind with fancy steampunk clothing. She had an eyepatch with a large key in one of her hands.
“Hello there!” The cookie said happily as she leaned against the giant key. “The names Timekeeper Cookie. It’s nice to meet you!” White Lily clutched her staff closely as she took a step back. “H-hello..” she stammered hesitantly and out of kindness, she introduced herself too “I’m White Lily Cookie..” Timekeeper’s smile widened. “Oh I know!” She said before standing up straightforward no longer leaning on it. “I’ve come here to test something.” With that, Timekeeper walked up to the white haired lady holding the key behind her back with her hands.
White Lily backed up as far as she could very unnerved. “Don’t worry!” Time Keeper hummed. “This won’t hurt a bit.” Timekeeper then showed one of her hands which had been closed and blew it towards White Lily. It was a purple powder similar to Poison Mushrooms and White Lily let out a yelp and rubbed her eyes. She felt her head getting very very foggy… until eventually she lost consciousness. The last thing she saw was the timekeeper lady smiling down on her. —
Espresso Cookie yawned as he became aware of his surroundings. He looked around before realizing he wasn’t where he had fallen asleep. ‘Great..’ he thought with a roll of his eyes ‘I was sleepwalking again.’ He was inside the house of the current guild. The table and chests in the corners, the kitchen to the left of the front door, a big round carpet in the middle of the room, he was lucky he didn’t hurt himself.
He noticed Truffle Cookie sitting outside caring for her spiders. She hummed happily before noticing Espresso. She smiled and waved “Good morning Espresso.” She said happily and he nodded back “Good morning Truffle.” He said with a nod. He looked at the front door as it opened and Pure Vanilla Cookie walked inside.
"Good morning your highness." Espresso said, it was a habit of his to call him that. "Good morning Espresso, however I have told you many times to simply call me Pure Vanilla." The blond said with a smile as he entered the kitchen. Espresso smiled slightly and rubbed the back of his neck. He went outside as he heard Black Raisin's crows caw and heard Licorices countless curses as he woke up. He probably banged his head on the log he was sleeping inside.
The brunette looked toward the coconut couch they had outside where he noticed White Lily sleeping inside of. He hadn't seen her come back last night, he wondered how she had gotten there without waking up anyone. Did Black Raisin see her come back? Ah, of course she did. She was on guard last night afterall.
He went over to talk with Truffle while keeping his distance as he had an extreme fear of spiders. She was nice about it though and was perfectly content with holding a conversation despite the distance. He saw in the corner of his eye Licorice and Black Raisin walking in, Licorice rubbing his head and grumbling. Soon enough, Pure Vanilla called out saying that breakfast was ready.
Espresso stood up and went inside to grab his food. He watched as Pure Vanilla greeted Licorice and Black Raisin before heading on outside to eat. Espresso went inside to grab his bowl and looked at Licorice who had a grumpy expression. "Sleep well?" Espresso said to spite him, which did end up rewarding him with a glare from Licorice.
Espresso chuckled before leaving to go outside and eat. He saw Pure Vanilla sit at the edge of the upper deck, eating his food and admiring the nature surrounding the guild. Espresso decided to go up to chat with him, but as he did he ended up tripping and falling into the water. "AH CRAP-" He shouted as he fell in and heard a few gasps from above. "AH- ESPRESSO! ARE YOU OKAY?!" He heard Pure Vanilla call from above but it became distorted when his foot got caught on the branch of a bush that happened to be inside of the water, pulling him down. Espresso said every curse under the sun, in his mind of course.
He kept trying to untangle his foot before he heard someone jump in after him and help with his stuck foot before being able to come to the surface and breathe. When he made it to the grass he saw everybody but White Lily and Black Raisin at the side, Black Raisin was just watching from the upper deck, Truffle Cookie was also wet so he assumed she was the one who dove in to rescue him. "Come on, lets dry you both off." Licorice Cookie said as he went behind the two and shoved them towards the house.
Pure Vanilla hesitantly followed them up to the house to make sure they were okay. They went inside as Licorice threw towels at them both. Pure Vanilla watched from the back while nervously fidgeting with his staff. Espresso assumed it was because he wanted to dive in after but something stopped him.
The day went by quickly. Licorice managed to convince Black Raisin to actually take a nap which was a miracle, Pure Vanilla and Truffle Cookie stayed inside for the majority of the day after, and Espresso went out into the forest for a bit to see if there was anything he could grab for food considering at the moment they only had soup. He managed to get some meat and jellies then returned. By the time he did, it was nighttime and he noticed a commotion outside the coconut couch.
Espresso put the food down and went to go look at what was going on. He noticed Pure Vanilla walk up to White Lily who was.. still sleeping? That was.. definitely concerning. As he walked up to the group he heard Truffle say "Check to see if she has a fever." then saw as Pure Vanilla put his hand up to White Lily's forehead, who had stirred at the movement in front of her.
Pure Vanilla let out a small gasp as he removed his hand. "She's burning up.." He said quietly but just loud enough for everyone else to hear. White Lilys eyes fluttered open and she looked at the man in front of her. "Pure Vanilla?..." She mumbled as she sat up. "Hey White Lily.. you slept all day and you're running a fever. Maybe you should-" "I'm fine" White Lily interrupted him and he was obviously taken aback.
"Are you sure?" White Lily simply nodded and left the coconut couch, walking past them all and going inside. Espresso furrowed his eyebrows, that was definitely out of character for her. Well she was running a fever... of course she'd be a bit delusional. He looked back and saw Pure Vanilla mumble something before going inside after White Lily.
There was a chuckle above them and Espresso looked up confused before his eyes widened and he gasped, stepping back as Timekeeper leapt down from the roof and onto the deck. "What the-" Black Raisin shouted before getting into a stance ready for battle. Espresso put an arm in front of the other three still outside and he noticed Pure Vanilla look out from inside to see whats wrong, once he saw the stranger his eyes opened and widened
"Timekeeper," Espresso said with a little more spite then he'd intended. "What are you doing here?" Timekeeper chuckled into her palm and put her arms behind her as she faced the ones still outside. "Ah no special reason. I just couldn't help but notice one of your friends got a little sick in the head!" She said way too happily for the situation.
Licorice Cookie growled as Truffle put her hand up to her mouth. "It is indeed odd she got sick so suddenly, is it perhaps you were the cause?" Timekeeper whistled. "Amazing deduction! Yes indeed! It was just a nice little curse I had decided to use to interfere with this timeline. It's just too boring.." She said, voice getting obviously annoyed at the end before her smile was back.
"Do not fret for the curse does have a cure! It's simple actually, find a special flower of feeling and rebuild the jar of the priests!" She instructed and at that moment, White Lily walked past Pure Vanilla who was still watching the situation outside in concern. She looked at the stranger who looked back and smiled at the red eyed female but said nothing to her.
"What does the curse do?" Licorice asked still glaring at the women. "Hehe.." Timekeeper ignored the question as she chuckled. "You'll find out soon. Until then, good day!" She waved before opening up the key that apparently was a pair of scissors and cutting open a time rift just as Espresso has seen her do many times.
"That little.." Espresso growled as the rift closed. Pure Vanilla walked outside "Is everyone okay?" He asked as Espresso nodded. "Yeah.. but.." He looked at White Lily who just held her staff seemingly for support, looking at them in concern as well. "Is something wrong?" She asked, seemingly back to herself. Truffle Cookie looked at the sky as it grew darker then it already was. The moon was barely hitting its peak. "Oh my, I do believe it is time to sleep." She said softly, looking back to everyone else.
Pure Vanilla nodded softly "Yeah.. whatever that was I'm sure we can deal with it in the morning." He said with a sad sigh. Espresso nodded. "Right.. yeah.. goodnight then everyone." He said as he went to the couch inside to sleep.
—
When Pure Vanilla woke up, he heard screaming and crying. He normally slept outside in the front as he loved to admire the stars as he fell asleep. At the noises, Pure Vanilla shot up just in time for Espresso to run outside. "Your Hi- Pure Vanilla! Come inside quickly, it's just- Black Raisin and White Lily-.. agh! Just come on!"
Pure Vanilla quickly stood up and grabbed his staff before following the sorcerer inside. In all honesty, when he heard those names he expected Black Raisin to be shouting at White Lily, but when he got there he realized it was far from the truth.
The moment he walked in he saw Black Raisin cowering in the corner where they kept the pillows and guitar just for relaxation with White Lily shouting at her from above, mocking her for crying. Truffle Cookie was off on a table sipping tea as she watched it go down with Espresso and Licorice standing off to the side in shock.
Pure Vanilla was the same as the other two males before snapping out of it as White Lily raised her staff as if she was about to hit her. Instinct took over and he ran over to step in between the two. White Lily growled as she lowered her staff. "Move.." She said to him coldly but he didn't even flinch.
"White Lily, please calm down. Violence is never the answer in situations like this." He tried to convince her to stop but she just kept threatening him to move. Espresso seemed to snap out of it as he rushed forward and grabbed White Lily. "GH- LET GO!" She shouted before throwing him to the wall. Despite her appearance, White Lily was physically very strong.
Pure Vanilla looked behind to see Black Raisin continuing to sob in fear. He frowned and sat beside her, rubbing her back while trying to calm her down. "Hey.. hey its okay. Nobody is going to hurt you." He said with a warming smile. Black Raisin didn't stop crying completely but she did calm down a bit. "R-really?" She mumbled quietly as Pure Vanilla nodded. "Yes. I promise nobody will harm you."
He might've spoken to soon as White Lily stormed over angrily, continuing to threaten him to move yet he didn't. He tried to persuade White Lily to do literally anything else. Somehow, it worked, and she ended up leaving them alone. Espresso Cookie went up to Pure Vanilla "Hey.. I need to talk to you, Licorice, and Truffle outside." He said quietly as Black Raisin continued to cry. Pure Vanilla nodded "I'll join you all soon." He said quietly.
Espresso nodded before leaving the house. Pure Vanilla turned his head to Black Raisin before he hesitantly wrapped her into a hug, still rubbing her back. "It's okay Black Raisin.. it's okay." He reassured her over and over again until she eventually fell asleep. By the time she did, the three aforementioned cookies walked inside. "Hey Pure Vanilla. We've been talking and we decided that we're going to go search for the cure. Truffle will stay back and look after Black Raisin and White Lily." Espresso explained.
Pure Vanilla looked at Black Raisin again, then Espresso. He started to shake his head. "No-" He said quietly. "No. I just.. I can't. I can't leave them while they're like this." The blond said with a tone very obviously concerned. Licorice walked up from behind as he crossed his arms. "We need your protection magic PV." He said with an annoyed tone but Pure Vanilla shook his head again. Espresso sighed. "We'll be leaving soon, you can choose to decide then.." The other two males then left the house, leaving Pure Vanilla alone in the house with Black Raisin and Truffle.
He looked over at Truffle who was drinking tea at the table again, how had he not noticed her until then? Pure Vanilla then felt Black Raisin begin to stir and wake up again. She opened her eyes and looked around until her eyes landed on Pure Vanilla who smiled reassuringly at her.
Everything seemed okay until one of Black Raisin's crows flew in through the window and immediately landed on her one arm that it always stayed on, which immediately freaked out Black Raisin.
"AGH! GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!" She said as she started to sob again. Pure Vanilla tried desperately to calm her down. He gently picked up the crow and brought it to the open window that lead to the back door. He set it down before he went back to Black Raisin and began to comfort her again. "Shh.. shh.. its alright." He repeated over and over like Black Raisin was a little kid and there was a thunderstorm going on outside that scared her.
Black Raisin finally began to calm down again and it seemed like she might fall asleep again as well, Pure Vanilla couldn't blame her. She was sick, crying alot so probably dehydrated, she hadn't slept in days except for the one 15-20 minute nap Licorice forced her to take, she deserved to rest.
He continued to rub her back until he heard Truffle speak up and what she said had concerned him much more then before. "Ew.. spiders." Was the only thing she said before she tossed a few spiders at Black Raisin. Pure Vanilla luckily managed to catch them in one hand and used his other to cover them so they didn't crawl out of his grip and fall onto Black Raisin.
He looked up in shock to see Truffle continue to sip her tea like nothing happened. Truffle was a fanatic to spiders, she would be horrified if she realized she had thrown her spiders.
Pure Vanilla looked at Black Raisin, she wasn't asleep but she seemed like she was about to be any second now. He stood up then with the spiders gently cupped in his hands. He probably shouldn't leave them inside, Truffle seemed to hate spiders now and he's sure Black Raisin would burst into tears if she saw one.
He heard the door open and saw Espresso walk back in with Licorice behind him. "We're going to go now." Espresso said "Are you going to go or stay?" Pure Vanilla looked at them then Truffle, then the spiders in his hand. "I have to stay." He said determinedly. It was his instinct as a king and healer. "I can't leave them. I think Truffle's sick too anyway, she just threw her spiders at Black Raisin after seeming disgusted by them." Pure Vanilla opened his hand slightly to show them the few spiders crawling around on him.
Espresso shivered and backed up as Licorice hummed. "Alright then, fine. We'll be back soon. Make sure they don't murder each other." He said before dragged Espresso outside as he had frozen up at the sight of the spiders after hiding behind Licorice.
Pure Vanilla nodded with a smile before heading to the window and gently setting the spiders down on the deck. He noticed a figure at White Lily's sleeping form at the coconut couch. He looked up just in time to see them throw spiders on her before running off in a giggle. It was so fast he couldn't see who it was. He heard White Lily began to shout then "AGH- EW! WHO THE HECK THREW SPIDERS ON ME?!" She screamed as she woke up due to the light feeling of spiders crawling on her.
Pure Vanilla immediately went over to see if she was okay and she looked up at him angrily. "IT WAS YOU WASN'T IT?! IT HAS TO BE YOU!" She accused as Pure Vanilla shook his head. "No I promise I didn't." White Lily didn't believe him. "DON'T LIE TO ME, IT HAS TO BE YOU! NOBODY ELSE IS AROUND!" Pure Vanilla wasn't going to lose his cool. She was sick and wasn't thinking clearly, having her yell and get worked up wasn't going to get her better.
He put up his hands in a 'stop' way and said "I swear on my life I didn't." White Lily seemed to calm down at that. Her expression was conflicted but wasn't angry. For a moment. She seemed to come to a realization and her angry look flared back up. "I think I know who did it.." She growled as she stood up and walked over to the house where Black Raisin began to scream and cry again.
Pure Vanilla rushed over and looked over White Lily's shoulder as Black Raisin's crow had returned and she was trying to make it back off as she flailed her arm around trying to get the bird to back off as Truffle giggled and watched in amusement. Pure Vanilla gulped. This was going to be very difficult.
—
Espresso Cookie led the way into the Timeless Kingdom. This was where White Lily was before she got sick so there had to be some kind of clue to finding the cure here.
He looked around as Licorice gripped his scythe with a conflicted look. Who could blame him? It was awhile since Licorice had turned to the side of good and being here probably brought back awful memories of his time serving Dark Enchantress.
That made Espresso think about the other cookies of darkness. Pomegranate, Poison Mushroom, Dark Choco.. how were they fairing? To his knowledge they were still serving Dark Enchantress but considering she had been defeated there wasn't much to do. Wait.. what if thats why they were so quiet? Were they trying to do something? Revive her? Bring her back to power?
The thought scared Espresso more then he'd ever admit. He wasn't ready to go through that again. The first fight was already difficult and traumatic enough but needing to go through it again? He'd rather be eaten alive by Black Raisin's crows. Well that's a hard statement..
"Timekeeper said the cure was this flower thing put in an enchanted jar right?" Licorice asked as he turned to Espresso who nodded. "Yeah. The special flower of feeling and have it put inside the jar of the priests. So we find the flower and the pieces of the jar before putting it back together." The one with glasses explained as he walked down the hallways, admiring the statues and pleasant glow from outside the windows.
"I've been here before and not once have I seen any kind of special flower nor glass shards of... whatever the jar is." Licorice said as he looked around the place.
Espresso walked while in thought. He knew the place had a garden. Maybe they could even run into Timekeeper and she could explain?
As if summoned by his thoughts, a time rift opened right in front of them and out stepped the time traveler. The same forever unnerving smile on her face. The sudden rift startled Licorice too. "AH WHAT THE-" He jumped back and raised his scythe in defense. "You both wanted to know where the flower and jar pieces are riiight?" She questioned mockingly.
Espresso simply glared at her. "Of course we do, we want to put an end to the curse that YOU started." Timekeeper laughed at that. "Fair enough. I'll tell you then! The flower and a piece of the jar is still here. There are about four pieces of the jar in general. One is here, one is within the city nearby, one is at the beach in the city, and one is at the guild house!" She happily said with a clap of her hands to finish off.
"Why should we believe anything you say? You could be wasting our time!" Licorice shouted from behind Espresso while Timekeeper shrugged. "You may believe whatever you want and disbelieve as well. But do keep in mind that eventually this curse will worsen, and if it does before the cure is found... well.." She took a step closer as her expression grew dark "Let's just say its not going to be pleasant."
Espresso, in his rage, threw a coffee bean at Timekeeper. She dodged at the last minute and laughed. "Good luck! Don't die!" was the last thing she said before cutting open another rift and hopping inside. "I swear when I get my hands on her..." Espresso mumbled before Licorice ran ahead. "Hey wait- where are you going?!" He called out to the previous dark sorcerer. "To the garden! If a special flower is going to be anywhere, I'm sure it'd be over there!"
Espresso internally face palmed before running after his friend. They ran all the way outside to Pure Vanilla's old garden. "Alright! Look for anything that seems like it'd be a flower of healing!" "Feeling." "Flower of feeling!" Espresso sighed at Licorice's antics before going to view the flowers as well. They all ranged from different kinds of flowers. To white lilies and sleeping vanilla orchids to bluebell flowers and daises. It was quite beautiful and nicely kempt.
Espresso walked around as he admired the flowers. He noticed a small garden shed in the corner of the garden and he decided to walk over.
When he got closer there seemed to be a glow inside that shone from underneath the doors crack. The brunette stared in awe before going to open the door and as he did so, he saw a very suspicious looking glass shard on the ground. He gaped at it for a moment before thinking.. was this a piece of the jar of the priests?
He walked over and gently picked it up in between his index and thumb to prevent cutting himself as he inspected it. It seemed authentic enough, he could practically feel the power radiating off of it. This certainly wasn't here last time. Had Timekeeper purposely hidden all these things in the locations she mentioned earlier? Of course she did..
Licorice soon called out to him "Hey! I think I found it!" That made Espresso snap out of his thoughts as he put the shard in his pocket before running off to find where Licorice was.
He was in the middle of an island similar to the one at the guild house's lake. It was surrounded with water except the one bridge that led back to the rest of the garden, in the middle of said island was a glowing yellow flower. Espresso whistled "If that isn't the flower of feeling, I don't know what is." Licorice looked back at the flower then to Espresso. "How do we carry it? I can see thorns on the side of it-" Espresso walked up to him and knelt down, sure enough there were thorns that seemed very sharp.
"Hold on.. I assumed this'd be the case soo.." Espresso dug into his other pocket and pulled out a ziplock bag and scissors. "Hold the bag open so when I cut it, the flower falls in." He instructed the black haired sorcerer who nodded, doing as he was asked.
Espresso carefully opened the scissors and moved them to the stem. He made sure he was right on point so the flower fell right into the bag. A few moments later he cut it and as planned, it fell into the ziplock bag as Licorice zipped it up.
"Alright now onto the city. I already got the jar shard here." Espresso said as he showed Licorice the shard whom gave a thumbs up in return.
—
Pure Vanilla was very tired by now. He had put up not one, but two shields around Truffle Cookie and White Lily Cookie to prevent White Lily from dumping the bucket of water on Truffle as she came to a false realization that Truffle had dumped spiders on her. Black Raisin had ran off before Pure Vanilla could stop her and he needed to go find her as well. He had put alot of energy into White Lily's so she couldn't use any magic to escape.
Pure Vanilla sighed "I'm going to look for Black Raisin. When I come back I want both of you to have calmed down, if not you're going to stay in the shield a bit longer." He ignored White Lily's insults as he went back outside and started to call for Black Raisin.
"Black Raisin? Black Raisin! It's okay to come out!" He pleaded as he looked around before hearing a sniffle coming from a nearby bush. He walked over and knelt down to see Black Raisin cowering inside with her back to the house's wall. Pure Vanilla gave her a look of sympathy. "Hey.. hey its okay. Do you want to come back inside?" He said softly but Black Raisin violently shook her head.
The king frowned at this before offering "It's probably been awhile since you've eaten right? I'll make some dinner. What would you like?" Black Raisin looked up at him with a look of shock before stuttering. "I-I.. I want some s-soup." She said through hiccups. Pure Vanilla smiled and patted her head. "Coming right up, you stay right here and I'll bring you some soup."
Giving her one last smile, he stood up and went back inside where Truffle was standing calmly while White Lily pounded on the shield, shouting to be let out. Pure Vanilla crossed his arms "I said I would only let you out if you were calm by the time I came back. You aren't calm White Lily.." He said as he waved his staff before Truffle's shield disappeared.
Truffle turned to Pure Vanilla and bowed "Thank you." She said simply before going to sit at the table and enjoy White Lily's protests to be let out as well.
Pure Vanilla shook his head disapprovingly "I'm going to make some soup for dinner. Are you hungry?" At that, White Lily seemed to calm down a bit. "Well... it has been awhile since I've eaten anything.." She mumbled quietly as Pure Vanilla gave a nod. "I'll make some for everyone. If you're calm by the time it's done I'll let you out to eat it." With that, he walked inside the kitchen.
He got out six bowls, he should probably make some for Licorice and Espresso for when they get back. It's been a couple hours by now. He hoped it was easy to find the cure. Pure Vanilla hummed a song as he began to make some soup before hearing noises at the door.
"Hey! We're back!" Licorice called out as Pure Vanilla let the pot boil so he could go out and greet them. "Welcome back! Did you find it?" He asked a little too desperately. Espresso nodded as he showed the ziplock bag with the flower and the other hand that contained four large shards. "We just have to do a spell to put the jar back together and boil the flower inside the jar. We can do so outside at the fire pit since you're using the kitchen. It shouldn't take long." He answered making Pure Vanilla breath a sigh of relief.
"Alright, I'm almost done making dinner." Pure Vanilla said before going back into the kitchen to finish up. He finally made the soup and poured it into all six bowls before he heard a commotion at the front of the house. Going outside he noticed Truffle trying to leave as Espresso blocked her.
"What's going on?" The blond questioned as Espresso looked at him with concern. "Truffle keeps trying to leave. Please stop her, I got to help with the cure-" He said as Licorice let out a yelp and jumped back as the fire sparked a bit which startled him.
Pure Vanilla nodded. "Yeah I'll handle it." He walked up to the cookie in question, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Hey Truffle? Mind explaining why you're leaving right now?" He asked simply with a smile.
"I would like to visit a friend." She answered bluntly before trying to walk off but Pure Vanilla stepped in front of her. "Listen.. right now you're sick. I can't let you walk around. They're making the cure now, dinner is ready, why not stay just a few more minutes?" He asked kindly. "Please don't make me put another shield around you."
Truffle seemed to consider it for a moment before letting out a sigh and a nod. "Very well." She then walked back inside. Pure Vanilla also sighed in relief. He walked to the door before seeing Black Raisin asleep against the building.
It couldn't have been comfortable to sleep sitting up like that.. Pure Vanilla walked over and picked up Black Raisin. He was much more stronger then he looked so it wasn't very difficult.
He brought her inside to see White Lily glaring at him with Truffle sitting at the table again. "You said when dinner was done I could be let out!" She said angrily while Pure Vanilla set down Black Raisin on the pillows. "I know, I'm sorry it took so long. Let me get your food." The king walked into the kitchen as he heard the front door open and Espresso saying the cure was ready.
He heard Espresso persuade Truffle to try the cure which was what he assumed to be some kind of liquid by now. He heard Truffle agree to it and try some as Black Raisin walked into the kitchen timidly.
Pure Vanilla looked at her with a smile as she walked over to where the bowls were and grabbed one with her shakey arms. The blond walked out of the kitchen for a moment with a bowl in one hand and his staff in the other. "Can I see the cure? I can give it to Black Raisin." He offered as Espresso looked over with a sleeping Truffle in his arms. He nodded to the king before White Lily again shouted "HEY CAN I BE LET OUT NOW?" She said as Pure Vanilla nodded and walked up to the shield as he waved his staff and the bubble disappeared.
White Lily snatched the bowl out of Pure Vanilla's hand before running to the corner of the building and eating it quickly but still clean.
Pure Vanilla let out a chuckle before Licorice handed him the cure. "We can give it to White Lily when she's.. ya know. Done eating." Pure Vanilla nodded as he took the jar and spoon to feed to the sick.
He walked back inside as Black Raisin finished her bowl and quietly put it in the sink before looking at Pure Vanilla who smiled and greeted her "Good morning Black Raisin. May I ask for you to try some?" She looked at him, then the jar, then him again. "It's not anything dangerous, I promise." He said as he handed her the jar. "Y-you promised?" She stammered as she started to stop shaking.
Pure Vanilla nodded reassuringly before Black Raisin raised the spoonful of the golden yellow glowing liquid to her mouth and drinking it. The effects seemed instant as she immediately started to sway tiredly.
Pure Vanilla quickly took the jar and put it on the counter before catching Black Raisin as she fell over asleep. He leaned his staff against the counter before taking Black Raisin's sleeping body out and lied her against the pillows again.
He went to retrieve the cure and his staff as he went over to White Lily and somehow persuaded her to try some of the cure as well. There surprisingly wasn't much protest. She had a spoonful and was out like a light.
Soon the three girls started to come to. It took a bit explaining of what happened as none of them remembered what transpired while they were ill. After some mental breakdowns from Truffle and Espresso, Truffle being because she was told she hurt her spiders and Espresso being because he reassured her that her spiders were okay and showed them to her in his hand before remembering his fear and literally passing out.
White Lily continuously apologized to everyone for her behavior and Black Raisin basically threatened everyone to not talk about what happened to her while ill. Everything seemed okay now, but Pure Vanilla couldn't help but wonder where Timekeeper was and if she was planning anything else..
--
The aforementioned cookie smiled as she watched through the window. This was only the beginning of the curse. 'They don't know what's coming..' She thought with a evil smile as she looked among the group. Specifically at the three boys.
