Work Text:
“This is torture. This for all my past sins, isn’t it?” Loki asked dramatically.
“Come on, babe, no pain, no gain!” Y/N said, jogging in place. “We’ve only done one lap.”
Loki groaned, but she ignored him and started to jog again. It wasn’t that hot, and Y/N was tired of Loki’s excuses. As his girlfriend and the unofficial Avengers health expert, she had enough of Loki just lounging around the tower. Every single time she tried to get him to join her at the gym or go for a walk, he made up some excuse. Not today; this wasn’t healthy. Again, he tried to argue, using his clever tongue and compliments, but it didn’t work. After buying some workout clothes, the God of Mischief was out in the open, running after his girlfriend.
“My love,” He panted. “Are you sure I haven’t angered you? This isn’t a punishment?”
“Loki, you’ve squared off against Hulk more than once, and you’ve also fought giants, aliens, and other creatures,” She turned around, still walking. “You can deal with a jog.”
“But this is insane,” Loki gave an uncharismatic whimper. “My darling, please. I’d rather watch tedious sport with Thor than do this.”
“It’s called football, hun,” She said. “But I mean, you can give up if you want. Guess you don’t want any reward.”
Loki perked up at this.
“I got this really nice nightie, and I was going to show it off tonight,” She said, a sly smile on her face. “It’s a shame; it’s your favorite color.”
Loki grabbed her arm, pulled Y/N to him, and stared into her eyes.
“You’re so cruel to me,” He said in a low whisper. “Be lucky we’re in public, or you’d be punished.”
“Who says we have to wait?” She returned playfully.
Loki kissed her and groaned when she moved away. Y/N just winked before turning around to jog again, this time making sure she added an extra bit of bounce to her walk. Loki smiled as her round, plump ass jiggled. He hated working out, but he did love those tight pants of hers.
“This woman is going to be the death of me,” Loki sighed.
Loki liked big things. Yes, he did like light and delicate things, but he also enjoyed largeness, especially with his partners. Yes, Y/N was healthy, but she still had curves upon curves. All her workouts had allowed you to sculpt her body, so your curves were perfectly balanced. When Loki had seen her in the Avengers’ gym, he nearly slammed into the wall due to being unable to tear his gaze away from her. Watching her stretch, watching her chest and ass jiggle, it sent him into a spiral.
He vowed to make her his.
With his vow in place, Loki was not subtle. WhenY/N came into the room, he stood up and teleported next to her. If there were meals at the Avengers’ kitchen, Loki reserved a spot next to her. He hated going to Migardian clubs, but if Y/N offered an invite, he’d go and only dance with her. To his surprise, she was receptive to his advances. It only took a bit more of his charm, and Y/N soon became his.
With Y/N being his mate, that made Loki protective and paranoid. That was one of the reasons he really didn’t enjoy going out for a jog. If she managed to get him to take her out to a restaurant or a movie, Loki noticed people staring. No, not people; men. Y/N’s body was excellent, and she knew it. Therefore, she dressed to show it off. Tight-fitting dresses, skirts that squeezed her ass; she flaunted off what you hand, and he personally loved it.
He didn’t love how others looked at her.
Mortals had two gazes when it came to Y/N; lecherous or judgemental. For some reason, Migardians had it in their heads that being voluptuous was horrid, and if you had a fuller figure, you were ugly. Loki knew that Migardians were stupid, but now he was sure they were lower life forms. He didn’t know how anyone could look at his beloved and see ugliness. She was a vision of beauty to him.
Loki watchedY/N jog ahead a bit, his eyes on her perfectly rounded ass. He smiled, but his grin vanished when he saw two young, thin women pointing at her. God, they weren’t even trying to be subtle. They were laughing, and one of them started making pig noises.
“Since you like pretending to be pigs so much,” Loki whispered, snapping his fingers.
Squeals erupted as the two women suddenly sprouted pig snouts and pink ears. They screamed in horror, attracting the looks of many. Loki caught up with his sweetheart.
“What was that?” She asked.
“I didn’t hear anything, love,” Loki lied. “Just the sound of your beautiful voice.”
“What did you do?” She stopped jogging.
“Dearest, I’m hurt,” Loki acted as if you had wounded him. “What makes you think I’ve done something?”
“Because you’re laying on the flattery, and you only do that when you’ve done something bad,” She crossed her arms. “What did you do?”
She knew him too well. Loki was thinking of a clever, witty way to escape his current situation when he spotted two men behind his sweetheart. Once again, they weren’t subtle at all; they were licking their lips, making lewd gestures. Loki’s eyes glowed green as he clenched his fist and growled. She noticed his ire and followed his eyes. The two men continued to make gross gestures. She made a disgusted face but merely rolled her eyes. That wasn’t good enough for Loki. Without even blinking, he used his magic to turn both men into dogs. A few people noticed, but his beloved was more focused on him.
“You’re not using magic behind my back again, are you?” She asked.
“Why on Earth would you think that?” Loki asked, feigning innocence.
“Loki,” She said in a warning tone.
Before he could say anything in his defense, a biker passed them and tossed his water bottle at the two of them. It burst, water showering both of them.
“Out of the way, fatass!” He shouted.
Oh, hell no.
“Loki, no wait!”
Loki growled before magically drying his clothes. Her protests were drowned out as a dagger formed in his hand, and he threw it at the back bike wheel. It popped, and the biker spiraled out of control before crashing.
“Damnit, people are starring,” She said, covering her face.
“Who cares about them? Someone should have taught that boorish brute some manners,” Loki took her hands in his. “Are you alright?”
“I’m just wet, but I’m fine,” She said, rubbing her arms. “It’s no big deal.”
“It is a big deal beloved,” Loki took her chin in his hand and made her face him. “Now, I’m going to ask my question again, and this time, you’re going to answer truthfully. Are you alright?”
“Well, I guess not,” She admitted. “That last guy was a jackass.”
“He most certainly was,” Loki said. “He’s lucky I don’t turn him into a mushroom or a newt.
“What the fuck, man?”
Said asshole had gotten up from the wreckage of their bike. Loki stood in front of Y/N, automatically defensive.
“Please don’t act as if you’re innocent here,” Loki said. “I don’t know who raised you, but they obviously forgot to teach you manners, you ill-behaved, snot-nosed nitwit.”
“What, because I insulted your whale of a girlfriend?” He asked. “Not my fault she’s a fatass.”
Loki was close to stabbing the biker, but Y/N grabbed his arm and leaned forward, whispering something in his ear. A mischievous smile spread across Loki’s lips.
“Oh, so you like whales?” Loki asked.
Loki snapped his fingers. The biker’s skin turned blue as his arms molded into fins and his legs disappeared. Onlookers gasped, pointed, and laughed. A few took out their phones to record the transformation. The biker screamed as he realized what was happening; he was being turned into a whale. Loki smirked, happy with his work, wrapped an arm around Y/N, and they began to walk off. The whale begged to be changed back, but Loki ignored him; the magic would wear off sooner or later, it was no longer his problem.
“You know Tony is going to chew your ass out once he finds out what you did, right?” Y/N asked him.
“It’s a small price to pay,” Loki kissed her cheek. “Your honor is more important than following Stark’s silly rules.”
“You know, I think you earned that reward after all,” She said with a smile.
Loki’s smile grew. This woman really was going to be the death of him.
