Derek had been reading.
Had been, because now he was glaring at Stiles whom Derek had thrown to the floor. He would have worried that he'd hurt the human, if Stiles wasn’t rolling on the carpet like some puppy, laughing at Derek’s expense.
"You should have seen your face. Didn’t know I, a creature called human, could sneak up on a werewolf. Or is your bedtime story that scary?"
“Shut up, Stiles.”
“Don’t be embarrassed, Sourwolf! It’s endearing how immersed into a book you can get, but it’s getting late. Come to bed, Der.”
“I’ll just finish this chapter first.”
