You had come to the Supreme Leader as an envoy for your small planet, to pledge allegiance to the First Order in return for resources your homeland desperately needed, and to your great surprise, Kylo Ren granted your proposal, even going as far as inviting you to stay aboard his personal ship while the treaty was finalized.
Being fairly new to politics, you were unsure if the rapt attention paid to you by the galaxy’s most feared leader was typical between newfound allies, but you accepted his hospitality nonetheless, indulging in the luxuries he provided and relishing his company after spending much of your days alone on a foreign ship.
Once the treaty was drawn, your ship had been prepared to take you home and you had every intention of returning, until behind the closed doors of Kylo’s private quarters where you had taken refuge under black satin sheets with his head on your bare chest and your fingers carding through his hair he said, “Stay with me.”
