Work Text:
“Oliver, go to the left. Tommy go to the right. You’ll meet in the middle and ambush them.”
Currently, you were trying to hunt down Malcolm Merlyn. He had been embezzling money from businesses in Starling City and Team Arrow wanted to put a stop to it. Felicity was away doing a work commitment which left you manning the comms. You sat back and watched Oliver and your boyfriend round their corners and ambush Merlyn.
“Y/N, he’s not here. It’s completely empty.” You could sense a ‘what the hell’ tone creeping into Oliver’s voice and you shook your head in disbelief. “What? Are you sure? The tracker says he’s right there.” “Of course I’m sure, I’m hardly going to miss seeing Merlyn am I?”
Tommy could sense Oliver beginning to get angry and walked over to calm him down. “Hey! That’s my girlfriend your talking to, calm down! I’m sure it’s just a mistake.”
A scream was heard on the other end of the comms and the two men immediately stiffened in fear. “Y/N! What’s happened?” Tommy could feel his heart begin to beat 10 times faster at the thought of something happening to you.
“You not finding me was not a mistake, I’m sure.” A low, creepy voice sounded down the comms and Tommy began to feel anger slowly rising up his body. “What the hell did you do to her, Malcolm?!”
He laughed down the comms and cleared his throat. “Nothing too serious, son. But mark my words, if you and that archer friend of yours don’t back off, I’ll make sure that her body will be unrecognisable by the time in finished with her.” Malcolm crushed the comms under his foot which sent a crushing sound into the men's ears.
Oliver, we need to find her now! God knows what he’s going to do to her!“ Oliver placed a comforting hand on Tommy’s shoulder. "Don’t worry, we will. I made sure that there was a tracker on Y/Ns phone in case anything like this happened.”
Your head was pounding when you’re eyes fluttered open. Groaning, you tried to hold your head but found you were tied to a chair. Immediately, you began to struggle out of the bindings, but it was no use. You cried a little in despair as you looked around the room for anything that would help you. A broken window was situated on the other side of the room with shattered glass littering the floor below it. You began to shuffle the chair over and tried your best to lean down to reach it.
Tears began streaming at this point. You hated being the damsel in distress, waiting to be saved. Especially from your boyfriends murderous father. You had no idea how he had gotten into the base and attack you. You didn’t even know if Oliver and Tommy knew that he was the one who took you. You just hoped that they would find you soon before something terrible happens.
Footsteps sounded at the other end of the corridor and your body filled with anxiety. The doorknob began to jiggle a little before the door was blasted open, hitting the wall behind it. Two figures walked through the doorway and frantically looked around the room, eventually finding your confused and worn out body sitting in a chair.
“Y/N! Oh thank god! Did he do anything? I swear if he’s laid one finger in you, I’m gonna kill him!” You brought his lips to yours once he untied you and felt your anxiety being washed away. “What was that for?” “Being my hero and saving me.” He smiled at you and helped you to your feet, supporting you with his arm.
“Now what do you say we leave the killing to your father and take me home?” You, Tommy and Oliver began walking towards the doorway. “As long as I can hunt him down later, nobody hurts my girl.”
Oliver chuckled at Tommy’s statement and led the way towards the entrance, you and Tommy following closely behind. Little did you know, that Malcolm was standing in the shadows watching every second.
