WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
The loud alarming sound of her own voice woke Amelia up. Stretching her hand over to her bedside table, she pushes the button on the screen of her phone to dismiss the alarm.
"Hngg.." Amelia sat up slowly, her soft blonde hair falling. She stretches her body, humming to the familiar satisfying crack of her back before standing up to open the window curtains, her eyes squinted to adjust itself to the glaring sunlight that ran past her figure to enter her once dimly lit room. Placing her hand on the handle of her windows, she pushed it open letting breeze and more sunlight come through.
It was early in the morning, she had to prepare herself for this special day.
Her eyes wandered up, her gaze landing on the simple yet beautiful view of the blue sky painted with white clouds. That blue always reminded her of Gura, right now was no different. And so, a big grin plastered onto her face, Amelia Watson, Hololive's number one detective, began her special planned day.
||Today was no different from the rest, but one simple thing made it so much more special.
Today was the day where Amelia finally musters up all her courage to ask Gura's hand in marriage. In all honestly, there was nothing special of the word marriage for Amelia. It was just a title to make couples even more official, it was a title for having God bless their relationship even though he's not apart of anything about them.
But even with all of this, Amelia chose to buy Gura a ring. For the simple reason of their promise to each other thousands of years ago. It was a children's promise, that once they grew up and met again they'd marry each other, but what made it so special and important was because this promise she made was a promise to Gura.
All of these thoughts ran in Amelia's head, narrating to herself in her own mind while she cooked a quick breakfast. With the adrenaline and determination she had, Amelia zoomed through her morning routine in less than an hour. eating her breakfast, brushing her teeth, taking a bath, dressing up, and finally, she unlocked her phone and immediately went to her private messages with her girlfriend.
'Alright, part 1, ask Gura out on a date'

'Part 1 complete, now for part 2' Amelia thought, grinning to herself.
And so she left her house and headed towards the cafe she and Gura had reunited in a couple of years ago.
A gentle breeze made her hair dance behind her as multiple small leaves of different tree's flew by her. She lifts her hand towards the side of her face to tuck a small strand of her golden locks and looked back up into the sky.
'It's already been 6 years since our debut, time flies by fast.' She chuckles at the ironic comment she thought of. She was a time travelling detective after all. And yet no matter how amazing a certain day was for her and Gura, she'd never dare go back to change a choice. Amelia chooses to let everything go the way it goes with Gura, cause she's learned that running away won't ever be a good option, running away from Gura would be a sin.
Finally, she arrives at the cafe. But as she was about to walk into the front door, she was attacked with a hug behind her back by a familiar shorter figure. Already knowing who it was, the best part of her day began.
"Ame!" Gura calls out happily, her shark tail wagging in delight.
"Oh woah, did I back up too much and hit a wall?" Amelia teases. Gura pouts and kisses Amelia's back in response making the taller girl shiver and squeak in surprise.
"Don't even start with me missy" Amelia turns around and wraps her arms around Gura, tugging her closer.
"Goodmorning sharky" A gentle smile forms onto Amelia's lips.
"Goodmorning sunshine" Gura grinned, the two pulling each other closer to get a quick peck on the lips.
Gura then let's go of Amelia from her embrace and holds her hand.
"So what's the plan for today chief?" Gura asks, her cheeks slightly red being next to the blonde.
"Arcade?" Amelia smirks as her eyes looked to side and onto her girlfriend.
"Arcade!" Gura nods, Amelia pulling Gura close for a quick kiss on the cheek whom which the shark giggled at.
And so, the two made their small walk towards the arcade.
"So, did something make you want to have a date today?" Gura asks, swaying their interlocked arms gently.
"Mmm, I guess you could say that? But there's nothing wrong with combining the dummy.." Amelia presents her free hand towards Gura "..And the thicc" And then presenting herself.
Gura groans. "Watson whyyy"
"Why what sharky?"
"Why must you betray my beeg brain like this??"
"Hmm" Amelia taps a finger to her chin, acting as if she was thinking. "I dunno sharky, maybe that beeg brain of yours just never existed in the first place" Amelia let out a gremlin laugh.
"How about I pay you a kiss to make you agree I actually DO have a big brain!" Gura squeezes Amelia's hand gently.
"Bribing me now cause you can't handle the truth? Gura please" Amelia laughs. That was enough to make Gura's heart skip a beat. "But that's a tempting offer..."
Amelia hums, trying to think, or atleast was looking like it. But in truth Amelia already saw that coming and just wanted more kisses, I mean come on, exchanging a few words and in return you get to get kissed by the most cutest best girlfriend soon to be wife ever?
"Alright, if you give me 5 kisses" She indicates by holding up five of her fingers up towards Gura. "Then you got a deal"
Gura's tail swayed and she smiled, and that smile turned into a smirk.
"Oho? What's this? Is the detective hungry for kisses? Hmmm?~" Gura's smirk grew wider as Amelia's pale cheeks reddened.
"I- hey you started it-" Gura couldn't hep but throw away that smirk and exchange it for a giggle.
"I'm kidding, tell ya what I'll add five more kisses for an apology" Gura walks a bit closer to Amelia, closing the gap between them even more.
"I'll take it then" Amelia turns her head back to Gura and smiles, squeezing Gura's hand gently, just s Gura did earlier.
"Alright, but that'll have to wait" Gura says, Amelia instantly feels saddened at the thought of waiting for her kisses.
"But why?" Gura's gaze turns back to Amelia and she giggled.
"Dummy! We're already at the arcade!"
Amelia turns her head back to her front to see the arcade.
"Oh" She says, disappointment in her voice.
"I'll give you a good smooch later, but right now lets have fun!"
"But kissing is fun too- ah!" And so Amelia got pulled by Gura into the arcade. Amelia sighs, but that frown changes into a smile seeing how excited and happy the shark was, and so she let's Gura drag her into the Arcade.
"Look!" Gura says excitedly, pointing at the crane game.
"They have bubba and bloop!" Gura's tail wagged even faster than before. This excitement made Amelia determined to get those prizes.
"Wanna get them?" Amelia smugly asks.
"Flexing on your own girlfriend hm?~" Gura laughs, before hugging Amelia's arm close to her.
"If you lose, you have to buy me pizza"
"and if I win?"

"Then I give you half of the promised kisses"
"DEAL" The two runs over to the game and immediately started playing. The claw moved accordingly, and from what Amelia could see, the Bubba and Bloop are luckily on the easy places next to each other. She notices something though and grinned.
"Hey stinky?"
"Mm?" Gura hums in reply
"Want to see something cool?" Amelia turns her head towards the shark, smiling.
"Oho? Heck yeah!" Gura's eyes sparkled in excitement and stared.
"Here we go!" Amelia turns back to the game and pressed the drop button. It felt like intense fighting music was playing from how tense the atmosphere was around the couple.
Fortunately though, Amelia had won the first fight against the crane.
The caw dropped and grabbed both plushies in one go. The two stared at the claw as it mmove the two plushies successfully into the hole, dropping it and letting the two claim their prizes.
"Amelia holy shit!" Gura was really impressed, her girlfriend was just somehow cooler than before in a press of a button.
"heh~ Guess that makes me the best girlfriend?"
"You always have been you dum" Gura punches Amelia's shoulder lightly, chuckling alongside Amelia.
"Where's my kiss?"
"here they are"
Gura kisses Amelia's cheek
"one"
Then the other
"two"
Then she kisses Amelia's forehead.
"three"
Then her nose
"four"
And then Gura pauses.
"Hmmm I wonder whats next to four?"
"Gura please?"
"Hehe I'm just kidding"
Gura leans in and kisses Amelia on the lips, a short sweet moment.
Gura pulls away, her cheeks red and a smile left on her lips.
"Five"
Amelia could melt from those eyes, the blonde sighs in happiness and proceeds to hold Gura's hand while carrying Bloop in the other.
"What else should we play then?" Amelia looks around the large arcade.
"Dunno, we can do whatever, I like spending time with you on anything"
"Even watching boring tv shows?"
"Even when watching boring tv shows"
"Gura you might just be the best girlfriend in the world"
"Heh just wait, I'll be more than just a girlfriend."
Amelia scoffs playfully but then smiles, a blush forming on her pale cheeks. "I'll look forward to it then."
The two of them played around the arcade, somehow winning every prize, every game, rigged and not rigged.
"We're fucking cracked, holy shit" Gura laughs, carrying the bags of prizes the two of them had won.
"Ah, we should probably head on and eat some lunch..?" Amelia says while checking on her watch.
"Yeah probably so.. Where do we put our stuff though?" Gura eyes the bags she was carrying.
"Oh, I have that covered, come here." Amelia walks towards the alleyway and opens one of her shortcuts to her office.
"Damn Watson, coming prepared hm?~"
"I gotta be prepared for dates with you"
"You're too sweet"
"Your lips are sweeter"
"Amelia please" Gura laughs, her face red in embarrassment.
"Whaat it's true though"
"Whatever Watson, come on! I'm hungri"
Amelia giggles and places the last bag into the shortcut and then closing it.
"Haihai"
The two of them began walking to a pizzeria hand in hand and began talking.
"What do you think about marriage Ame?"
"Marriage?"
"Yeah"
"Well.. Honestly I think it's a waste of time" 'but that's ironic considering I'm about to propose to you later'
Amelia could see Gura's face gloomed upon what she said.
"But, if it's wiht you, then wasting my time on it is time wasted well"
"Really?" Gura's eyes looked up to Amelia's.
"Really" And with that, Gura smiled birghtly and hugged Amelia close.
"We're here Gura, we should eat.
"O-oh yeah!"
The couple walked inside ordered pizza and ended up leaving at 3:30pm
"Hoooly shet that buffet was absolutely delicious" Gura sighs in relief, rubbing her tummy in circles.
"You ate a lot are you sure you're alright?" Amelia chuckles.
"I'm perfectly fine! I can even eat that whole building in one day if I wanted to" Gura points to the ferris wheel. But then it struck her. "Wait the ferris wheel is moving..The amusement park is open???" Gura's eyes widen and a big smile slowly formed on her lips. She turns towards Amelia.
"Ame--" But she cut herself off when Amelia showed two tickets to the park while smirking.
"Jesus christ Ame"
"I am indeed a God"
"C-can we go?"
"Gura I wouldn't be holding up these tickets if I wanted to say no" Amelia says deadpanned
"Fair enough"
And so the two ran towards the park.
"Woah! Man this park really brings back memories.."
"Yeah.. It does" Amelia smiles, her eyes on the ferris wheel where Gura and her had their first kiss.
"Ame! Look look!" Gura points at the shooting game
"You should flex your shooting skills!" Gura says excitedly.
"I guess I have no choice but to flex for my girlfriend" Gura laughs and Amelia smiles upon hearing that lovely melody.
They walked over and bought a shot for the two of them. Surprisingly, the two of them shot a bullseye with each bullet and highfived in the end.
The booth man terrified of the skills the two had shown, gave the highest prizes while shaking.
"H-here you go mam"
"Thank you" Gura smiles at the man and gently takes the large shark plush before turning to Amelia. "I guess I have another cuddle buddy in the bed" She says smirking and awaiting Amelia's response.
"I don't care how many plushies you have, as ong as they dont take my spot of your bed."
Gura giggles and hands Amelia her prize, it was a bb gun.
"Please don't shoot that at me"
"Why would I" Amelia ass chuckling in confusion.
"I dunno, it just sounds like something you'd do"
"Eh, true"
They bought corndogs, cotton candy, many things and enjoyed them.
But the time was not 4:50pm and the sun was setting.
"It's about time the sun starts to set.. Wanna go and ride the ferris wheel?"
Gura nods, humming in excitement
The two walked towards the ferris wheel and got on the very same carriage the two of them had rode in years ago.
"Today was really fun, thank you Ame."
"It's just getting started you know?"
"Huh?"
Suddenly, the two of them stopped at the highest peak of the wheel, Gura felt nervous but calmed down once Amelia held her hand. Putting a finger next to her lips, Amelia whispers a "shh" And the points outside the window where it showed the sea.
Gura turns her head and was surprised with fireworks.
The fireworks had never been so pretty before.. Gura's eyes teared up at how beautiful the sight was. Amelia smiled at the stunned girl in front of her and turned her head to watch the very same fireworks Gura was watching.
Gura noticed specific patterns of the fireworks.
She mutters them all.
"w..i..l..l...y..o..u.."
"m...a...r...r...y...m...e?"
And then the firework showed Bubba and Bloop holding hands and heart shaped fireworks following behind.
Gura upon realizing what the letters were together, turned her head towards Amelia who was holding up an opened box with a ring inside.
"Gura.. Will you marry me?"
Gura covered her mouth and gasped, tears falling from her eyes and her tail thumping on the seat loudly.
She wipes her tears, pulls Amelia in for a deep kiss and grinned.
"Yes!"
