Work Text:
“That dumbass better say ‘I do’ or I will finally kill him.” Magna mumbled under his breath as he worked on the preparations for his wedding. Magna’s original plan when he proposed was to just have a courthouse wedding due to financial concerns. However, when they announced their marriage, Noelle offered to pay for it because she wanted for them to have a great wedding. It was very nice for her to do and he’s been very happy about it. Now the problem that he was dealing with was the amount of paperwork. The amount that they had to deal with was enough to drown in. Magna wanted to pull his hair out and if somehow after all of this, Luck didn’t say “I do,” Magna isn’t afraid to have an arson charge.
After a few minutes, Magna took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes. He had been so focused while he was working that he didn’t even notice how late it was. He needed a break. Just as the idea of a break passed through his head, two arms gave him a hug from the back.
Magna chuckled and said, “hey there, you maniac.”
“Hey there, weird glasses.”
“All this wedding prep is going to be the death of me.”
“Yeah, but do you know what we should do at the wedding?”
“For the last time, Luck, we are NOT going to challenge people to duel at our wedding just because we proposed to each other with swords.”
Luck let go of Magna and threw his hands in the air. “Then what’s the point?!”
Magna turned around and kissed him. He needed to kiss him to get him to stop talking and he needed physical contact. It had been a long day.
“You need to sleep, Magna.” Luck said after their lips separated. He was right, Magna had spent his whole day working and sleeping sounded nice.
“Fine, but only if you sleep too.”
~~~
It was almost midnight and Magna was half asleep when Luck said something.
“If we can’t use swords, how about daggers?”
Luck’s words just barely registered through Magna’s head. But once Magna understood the gist of it he said, “maybe.”
