~In a flash he had everything.
Maybe it was worth it.
A flash, it ends too soon ~
"EARTH!"
I heard that beautiful voice
Too far away, yet as clear as day.
The sudden pain,
I could feel the shutter speed of my brain.
Memories of a dimpled face, bright eyes
Calling my name.
Hands around my shoulders
Shaking me, away from my intensifying pain.
He's here, he's holding me,
My brain screams in vain.
My eyes, they wonder looking for his face
I feel a stream of tears In my embrace.
And an agonising cry, for me to look his way.
I try so hard but I couldn't obey.
I hear the sirens,
Warm liquid pouring around me
A body on top, shaking violently.
He holds my hand and asks me to stay
With pain, he kisses my bleeding lips,
And my heart starts it's final skips.
I look at his face covered in tears,
Your kisses aren't supposed to taste like fear.
You see my smile and hug me tight,
As my vision turns to white,
The love I dreamed will never suffice.
One last breath;
I whisper,
'Maybe next time'.
With a feather soft kiss,
As the world goes numb,
Near heaven's Gate,
I hear,
'Remember me,
I'll wait.'
