He lies awake staring at the ceiling. It’s two in the morning. Any normal person would be fast asleep at this point.
Not him.
Beside him, Historia moans in her sleep and his attention turns to her.
He reaches out, winding one of her locks around his finger.
She’s wrapped around my finger. Or at least her hair is.
He smiles at his own joke and begins to unwind the hair.
She sighs and nestles deeper into the pillow.
Eren lies back, eyes on her.
Just the sight of her is enough to mesmerize him.
Eventually, his eyes fall shut.
