A Week in the Life.
Ginny woke up one Sunday morning as the sun was shining through the window which surprised Ginny as Harry and Ginny were supposed to pick up Teddy today as this was their week to have Teddy. Ginny and Harry were on rival quidditch teams and it was a hard task juggling their respective practices on top of raising their son James Sirius, as well as taking time for their relationship.
Even though Ginny had been back at practices for the last few weeks this week was especially hard as this week contained the first quidditch game of the season so each team had later than usual practices. Ginny remembered the big events of her week.

Tuesday
Ginny apparated back to the front door at 8 o’clock at night after having a late practice, she was bone tired and the only thing she wanted to do was go to bed. The house was unusually quiet as she walked through and was surprised as she thought Harry would have James already to bed and would be watching the muggle TV on the couch.
“Harry!” Ginny shouted upstairs hoping that he was upstairs seeing James, but heard no sounds.
Ginny then heard the door opening and spun around holding her wand up to defend the house from anyone trying to enter, although when the door she saw that it was Harry in the doorway without James.
“Where’s James, don't you have him?” Ginny shouted at Harry in a panic.
“I thought you had him,” Harry said back to her.
“No, it's your day to pick him up from mum’s.” Her mum had long ago asked Harry to call her mum.
Ginny then realised he must be at Mum's house, so she volunteered to go pick him up. She quickly went through the flames to the Burrow. The Burrow was quiet as she walked through the flames. Both her mum and dad sat next to each other on the couch.
“Hi mum, Dad. How are you guys?” Ginny said sheepishly as she walked away from the flames.
“Did you and Harry forget to pick up something? Don't worry, he is upstairs in the portacot fast asleep. Why don't you leave him here so that you and Harry can get a good sleep? You look like you could fall asleep on your feet and you both have to make sure to look after yourselves.”
“Thanks mum. I will just go and look on him and then go home to sleep.”
Ginny after having checked on James went home through the floo, Harry had not moved one inch the whole time while she was over at her parents.
“How is James?” Harry asked her.
“He is good, they are going to keep him as he is already asleep so we can have a good sleep.”
Harry and Ginny then went upstairs and got ready for bed and went to sleep.

Saturday saw Ginny sit on her broom waiting for her indication to fly into the sky for her first quidditch match of the season and first match in over a year.
“Ginny Weasley!”
After hearing her name she flew into the sky with the crowd roaring at hearing her name she looked around and smiled at Harry as the Puddlemere united had come out first. She then got into position as the quidditch match started. It was amazing as she zipped around with her fellow quidditch team members.
As much as she enjoyed that time off to have James, it was good to be back. It was the most natural feeling in the world, as she put the quaffle in the hoops. Harry and her had an agreement that when she and Harry were on the field they were competitors and their relationship was left off the field and then when they were at home the competitiveness was not at home, at home they were a team.
The game went on for four hours ending with Harry catching the snitch all though her team the Holyhead Harpies won 450-470.

Later that night found Harry and Ginny with some free time to spend with each other as James was settled and asleep upstairs. It was just as important to nurture their romantic relationship as well as look after everything else in their lives. They were sitting on the couch enjoying a movie although the movie had long ago been abandoned and they were making out with the movie on in the background, Ginny had not long ago moved onto Harry’s lap.
“How about we go upstairs and make love upstairs?” Ginny asked Harry as things continuously got more heated.
Harry could only not as they moved up to their bedroom, when they were on the bed they started kissing again as they started removing each other's clothes not wasting their time, when all the sudden there was a cry from James nursery.
“Argh.” Ginny heard Harry groan as they pulled apart suddenly, he still had his pants on and to go and see what James needed, giving Ginny a kiss on her lips.
“Maybe next week we should ask mum and dad to babysit so we can spend a night on our own?” Ginny suggested to Harry.
“Sounds like a good idea.”

Present Day
Ginny heard some giggling and got out of bed to investigate and looked out of the window. The sight she saw when she looked out of the window was Harry and Teddy playing in the garden, Harry was chasing Teddy who was on a child broom that hovered slightly off the ground and Teddy was giggling his head off having the time of his life. James was in the bouncer with a sun safe charm over him.
Harry must have gone and picked up Teddy from Andromeda while she was asleep and let her sleep in. Ginny then got dressed after having done a tempus charm and realising it was 11 o'clock, went downstairs and joined her boys.
“Hi Harry,” Ginny said as she kissed him on the cheek.
“Hi baby, how was your sleep?”
“Good, especially as you let me sleep in, how about we go inside get lunch ready and then we can go to the park with the boys, with a picnic.”
“Sounds great,” Harry said.
“Good morning, Aunty Ginny,” Teddy said as he noticed that Ginny was out of bed.
“Morning munchkin, how are you this week?”
“Good. I’m getting better on the broom.”
“That’s good, how would you like to go for a picnic at the park?”
“Yes, yes, yes,” Teddy said excitedly about the picnic as he loves the park.
Ginny picked up James and the four of them went inside to enjoy their day.
