It was a bad day. You were stressed out with school and your parents, but this time was worse. You came home tired and your parents started arguing with you again, one thing lead to another and you ended up leaving your house, only with your phone in hand. You didn't know what to do or where to go, but at least you had to tell someone, for your own safety. You opened your contacts and called your boyfriend, Atsumu. You planned on doing it quickly since it was getting late and you didn't want to bother him. "Hi, Tsumu, just called to tell you that I left home, nothing serious though! Don't worry! Just letting you know" you said, quick and efficiently.
"Wait, what? Y/n, are you ok?? What happened? Where are you??"
"Shhhh, I'm ok, don't worry. I just got into an argument with my parents and left my house, nothing serious."
"That sounds serious to me!! Do you have where to go?"
"Well-" he cut you off
"You can come to my house, I'll tell my mom, she sure'll let you stay"
"If that's not a problem... I wouldn't want to be a burden, I could go back home!"
"Oh, no, I insist! Please, come with me"
"Ok... I'll be there in 20"
You didn't live that far away, but you took your time. It pain you the only thought of causing trouble, but you knew he meant what he said, so there wouldn't be a problem.
When you arrived you let out sigh and knocked on the door, being surprise by the fast action of the door opening.
"Y/n!" He hugged you, "Are you sure you're ok? You wanna talk about it?"
"Atsumu, at least let her in!" You heard his mom yell, making you chuckle.
You stepped inside letting out a soft "Sorry for the intrusion".
Even trying to refused, Atsumu guided you upstairs, directly to his room, getting to only greet Osamu in your way there. Opening the door, Atsumu gestured you to enter with a smile. You felt relieved, you were now with your boyfriend, in a safe place, it couldn't be better.
"I told Samu to let us talk a little, he won't bother us" Atsumu said as he closed the door behind him.
"I'll make sure to thank him, he's always so-" you stopped talking as you felt Atsumu's hands around your waist and his chin touching the top of your head, you didn't even get to turn around. "Are you really ok?" Atsumu said, letting out a sigh.
You turned around, looking up so you could see his face, "I'm good, I guess. I just need your hugs, can we cuddle?" You said. Not even 0.1 seconds after, you see Atsumu's face light up. 'Thats a yes', you thought.
"We have time until dinner. You can take a shower, I can give you some of my clothes and then we can lay down for a while. You can stay the night too..." Atsumu said, unsure if it would make you feel uncomfortable. You knew him, you know he didn't mean anything by that, he always had pure intentions in situations like this.
"Yes, thank you so much Tsumu, really. I don't know what I would've done without you" you said as you planted a kiss on his cheek.
Getting out of the shower in Atsumu's baggy clothes, you look around. You can't see Atsumu but you hear laughs and loud voices downstairs; 'So this is what a family looks like' you thought, not being sure of going downstairs and interrupt the moment. You sit in Atsumu's bed, waiting for him to come back. Slightly teary eyes look up at Atsumu when he lets himself in, you were just envious of the relationship him and Osamu have with his parents and how good they're treated. Atsumu understands, he really does. He opens his arms signaling you to hug him, which you do in a instant. Your sobs can be heard while Atsumu rubs your back, a warm and loving touch. You're so in love. Him and his family have shown you the support your parents never gave you and you were really grateful for that, but you couldn't help fantasize about being born in a family like this.
Atsumu gently picked you up and placed you on his bed "Get comfy, I'll tell Samu not to bother us" he says while caressing your face. You watch as he opens the door and yells "Samu don't enter the room!!", seconds after you can hear Osamu yelling back "Don't do lewd things in my bedroom"... "OSAMU DON'T YELL!" You hear their mother say, followed by a "But he-" from Osamu. Atsumu closes the door while looks at you with an embarrassed face, scratching his nape. You laugh, you don't say it but you love them so much.
You lift the sheets so you can get in bed, inviting Atsumu with the motion. Sweet cheesy talk was an usual thing for Atsumu, even though he presents as the cocky type, he's a very sweet boy when you two are alone. "You know you can come to my house whenever you want, right? You could even live here! That'd be awesome!" he says with a sweet smile, trying to make you feel better, "I can even tell my parents to adopt you, you wouldn't have to worry about your parents any- Wait. That'll make us siblings. No, no! i didn't mean that!". You burst out laughing at his silly realization. He pouted while drawing forms with his fingers in your back, tightly squeezing you between his arms. "Anyways, you know you always can count on me, right?" He says. "I know Tsumu, thats why I'm so grateful. I lov-" "You could treat my arms as a safe place, just for you". Damn, he always says the right things, even if they sound silly. You bury your face in his chest as you whisper 'I love you so much'. One of his hands travel to your head, gently patting it. "I know, sweetheart. I love you too".
