Recently, I was given my missing sister's diary, along with a few other items. Which mainly consist of different newspaper articles, all of the same thing, '14 year old girl mysteriously disappears'. There all from a few years before her disappearance.
I remember, she never let anyone near this diary, yet always had it with her. Always writing in it. I've only dared to read the first half of it. I had to stop, in fear of what might happen to me.
Here's some of the entries that I think might solve what happened to her.
Day 1:
I don't know how to start this. I guess I'll explain why I've started writing this.
I don't know what is going on. All I know is that something or someone is following me. I'm going to use this diary to keep track of anything that happens.
It's like I can feel when they around. My skin becomes itchy and like it's moving along my bones. I can feel something burning my back. I don't know what is happening.
Day 10:
Everything's becoming worse. The feeling of burning and my skin crawling is becoming more frequent. I barely get any sleep, paranoid that something might happen when I'm asleep. I just want to know what's happening.
Day 12:
I've had enough of this, I can't take it anymore. I'm tired of always being sleep deprived, always feeling like I'm being watched and the feeling of my skin crawling. I'm finally doing research into what's going on.
So far I've only been able to find one news article that could be helpful. 'Child found after sudden disappearance. Alyssa, 14, explains she had been feeling as if someone had been following her for a few weeks before her disappearance, feeling as if her skin is crawling or that something might happen in her sleep.' Maybe this could become useful in finding out what's happening.
Day 17:
What ever has been following me is getting closer. I've seen it! I don't know what it is.
It looks like a person but is twisted and is missing an arm. It's head, covered in blood, is hanging at a strange angle, as if it's broken. I wish I could ask someone about it but I doubt that they would believe me. I also don't want this thing following anyone. Please, let me find out what's happening.
Day 24:
I haven't been able to find out anything new about my situation. Except, I've been hearing someone calling my name when I'm alone. I try not to listen but it keeps getting louder and louder and more comforting.
I shouldn't have looked at the news articles. Since then it's been getting much worse. So much worse.
This is where I had stopped reading. If what she's saying is true then what ever was following, could start following me.
Well, since then, I do feel burning on my back and my skin crawling. Hopefully, nothing happens to me.
