Ever since Class 1-A found out they could have animals in the dorms, the place had been a lot more lively with a few animals to cuddle with. Although, the people with animals (minus Koda) have them for support; Denki has a golden retriever called Zappers for his ADHD and Jirou has a cat called Zeppelin for her depression and anxiety.
One evening, while 1-A were just chatting in the common room, Denki came back from his dorm saying, “I have to go to the pet shop for Zappers sometime soon, does anyone need to or want to come along?”
“I’ll come, i need to buy some more treats for Zeppelin,” Jirou said.
“I need to get some new bedding for Yuwai-chan so i’ll come along too,” Koda said, barely above a whisper.
“I’ll join, Dark Shadow has been wanting more toys for a while now,” said Tokoyami.
“I’ll also tag along, I don’t need anything in particular but it’ll be nice to go out,” Shoji offered.
“Ok, great! I’ll ask Aizawa-sensei when we can go and let you all know as soon as possible” Denki said, buzzing with excitement.

The next day, Denki stayed back after class.
“Aizawa-sensei?”
“Yes Kaminari?”
“Can me, Jirou, Koda, Tokoyami and Shoji go to the local pet shop this weekend?”
“Yes, Saturday should be a good day to go because by the look of it nothing is happening. Just let me know before you leave.”
“Thank you so much Aizawa-sensei!”
Denki didn’t have enough time to notice the way Aizawa fondly rolled his eyes at his excitement as he was already out of the door.

“Guysss!! Aizawa-sensei has given us permission to go to the pet shop this Saturday!” Denki said, as Zappers kissed his face hello.
“That’s great! You need to go and tell Jirou, she is sitting in her room with Zeppelin,” Shoji informed.
“Ok! Thanks!”
When Denki walked into Jirou’s room she was sitting on her bed stroking her cat. Denki liked how she named the cat Zeppelin after the Led Zeppelin who, in his opinion, is one very talented music artist.
“Hey Jirou!”
Jirou jumped slightly. “Hi Denki.”
“Aizawa-sensei said we can go to the pet shop on saturday!”
“Oh, awesome. Thanks for asking for us,” She smiled.
“No problem!!”

That Saturday, Denki was the first person down into the common room, along with Zappers of course. Not so long after, Jirou came down with Zeppelin in her arms.
“Good mornin’,” Jirou yawned.
“Morning!” Denki replied.
By the time they had both fed their pets and sat at the table with their own breakfast, all of 1-A were awake and ready.
“Is everyone ready to leave now?” Shoji asked while helping Denki put Zappers’ jacket on.
“I believe so, we just need to go and let Aizawa-sensei know we’re going,” Tokoyami said.
“Let’s just hope he is actually awake,” Jirou laughed.
Denki knocked on the door of the teachers’ lounge and Present Mic mic answered the door.
“Hello young listeners! What brings you here?”
“Hi Present Mic! is Aizawa-sensei here?” Denki asked.
“Yes, I believe he is just making a coffee. Wait here.”
“What do you want?” Aizawa droned.
“We just came to let you know we are going over to the pet shop now,” Denki answered.
“Okay thanks for letting me know. You can go now.”
“Thank you sensei!” The 5 students said in unison.

Once they arrived at the pet shop, the 5 agreed that they would split up to get what they needed then meet up later: Jirou, Shoji and Koda went together then Denki and Tokoyami.
“I think it’s funny how they put all of the quieter animals of one side of the shop, then all of the loud animals on the other,” Shoji said.
“Well, our animals do need their peace and quiet,” Koda said.
“True,”
“Oh look, cat treats! I’ll be back, you two can go ahead,” Jirou pointed out.
“Ok, don’t spend too much money!” Shoji laughed.
“Ha ha very funny,” Jirou said sarcastically.
“Now then, I need to just find the right one… ooh! That toy looks so cute. Wait no I’m getting distracted.”
She picked it up anyway.
“Hey Kaminari, does Zappers need a new toy? This yellow bone looks very fitting for him.” Tokoyami pointed out.
“Aww and it’s got little lightning bolts on it! He doesn’t necessarily need it but it’s so cute and suiting.”
“Then get it.”
“Okayy, just don’t let me spend too much money.”
“What did you say you needed for Yuwai-chan?” Shoji asked.
“Just some new bedding, but i might buy him some new chew toys as well.” Koda replied.
“Ok, there’s some, what i think are, chew toys here. I don’t know if i’m looking at the right thing,”
“Ah, right yes that is the right thing, thanks Shoji,” Koda smiled ,”Oh and there is the bedding, perfect.”
“You said Dark Shadow wanted bird toys right?” Denki asked, double checking.
“Yes, she especially likes bells and shiny stuff,”
“Oh look, hanging glittery bells, both the things she likes!”
“Perfect. I’ll get those and some things to hang from the ceiling in my room.”
“Don’t you spend too much either!”
“I won’t!”

A while later, everyone had met back up outside the shop.
“Is everyone satisfied with what the bought?” Tokoyami asked.
“Yes”
“Yep”
“Yeah”
“Good”
“I don’t want to go back yet, there is a market near here, can we go there?” Denki pleaded.
“Sure, it’s not like anyone has anything to do,” Jirou agreed.

After about five minutes of walking, the five arrived at the market place. Despite being small, it was quite a popular area in town.
“I’m hungry,” Denki whined.
“There should be a few places around here to buy food,” Tokoyami said.
“Oh look, there’s a Katte Don stall over there, let’s get some,” Shoji pointed out.
“Ooh ok!” Denki agreed.
Once everyone had eaten they went shopping. Mainly for clothes.
“Look Jirou, that’s the perfect stall for you, it’s exactly the sort of stuff you wear,” Denki said.
She looked over to the stall, it was a stall which sold mainly band shirts.
“Do I really wear band t-shirts that much?” Jirou asked.
“Unfortunately, yes.” Shoji laughed.
She went over to the stall and bought about five t-shirts.
“I thought we were trying not to spend too much money.” Tokoyami said.
“Oh well,” Jirou shrugged.
Next was Denki’s turn to spend way too much money.
“Hey, look baseball caps!” Denki exclaimed.
“I don’t think you need anymore Kaminari, we all know how many you already have,” Jirou said.
“Oh well it’s too late, i’m already walking over there..”
Koda sighed and Jirou facepalmed.
He came back with two new hats.
Tokoyami, Shoji and Koda all bought some souvenirs for their dorm rooms.
“It’s getting rather late now, I think we should start heading back,” Tokoyami said.
“Yeah, I agree we have to be back before curfew.” Koda replied

Once they arrived back at the dorms Aizawa was the first person to greet them. It wasn’t very pleasant though.
“I thought you were only going to the pet shop?” Aizawa said, examining their bags.
“That didn’t take long so we wanted to go to the local market,” Denki explained
“I just hope you didn’t spend too much money and were responsible,”
“We were,” Denki assured, “I think.”
“Ok then. Now get back to your dorms, curfew is in an hour.”
“Thank you Aizawa-sensei!” The five said.
