It seemed to be any other day for Phoenix. He was investigating like normal when he came across a strange looking man. "Um? Can I help you?" Phoenix asked, noticing he appeared to be staring at him.
The man had a similar haircut to Edgeworth, that being grey hair with bangs, however there was one piece of hair that stood up. He wore a tan dress shirt and large black glasses. Obscuring his eyes.
"Oh I'm just looking around." He said, a wide smile across his face.
"You do know this is a crime scene? I don't think you're supposed to be here." Phoenix replied.
The man shrugged. "I don't think you're supposed to be here! In fact, you look sus!"
"E-excuse me?!" Phoenix was baffled. "What did you just say?"
"I didn't say a thing!" He replied. When suddenly 4 black chains appear over his heart, followed by a single red lock.
"Oh no! A psyche-lock!" Phoenix said out loud, he reached into his pocket. "I'll have to use my magatama to break it! Heh I'm sure glad I have this thi-"
When he opened his hand, instead of the hard stone of the magatama. A soft, green crewmate sat in his hand, glowing.
"AMOGU" it said.
---
"Oh HELL nah!" Phoenix bolted up, surprising his partner who had been sleeping peacefully besides him.
"Wright, are you ok?" Edgeworth asked, straightening his nightcap. Phoenix didn't reply, instead he got up and went into his home office.
"Where did I put it?" Phoenix searched through loose papers and documents.
"Is something wrong?" Edgeworth had followed him, looking worried about his partner.
"No I just need- There it is!" He grabbed his magatama, it was a magatama. Not a crewmate or imposter or whatever. "Thank god."
"Did you think you lost it?" Edgeworth walked up, looking down at the green shining stone.
Phoenix looked up at him. "I'll tell you tomorrow, let's go back to bed." Phoenix crawled back into bed, holding onto the magatama while he slept.
