To say that Kim dokja was surprised was an understatement, such a scenario had never appeared in 'three ways to survive', consequently, he had no clear way to pass this scenario, plus his conditions are very confusing, seriously, what is this 'other' land? Plus the failure is very extreme, so therefore it would be suicide to accept this scenario wouldn't it?.....
'but the compensation makes it worth it and even more when we are already very close to the last scenario, we need all the help we can get for the company to survive, nothing will happen if I accept, the company won't notice because time will stop until I finish clarifying the scenario'.
It is a very good plan'.
And so Kim dokja had prepared to jump through the portal that appeared at some point while he was thinking, what he didn't expect was that ''someone'' was watching him from the moment he started acting strange, that ''someone'' was Yoo Joonghyuk.
When Yoo Joonghyuk saw a portal appeared beside Kim dokja, and a Kim dokja ready to jump into the portal, he didn't think about it and followed him, the company beside him couldn't react quickly to the events and could only look on in exasperation.
'Shit' was the last thing they could think before everything froze, as if someone had put them on pause.
After jumping through the portal, Kim dokja felt all his limbs become heavy he also felt like he was falling and as he was about to activate the wind path to avoid any impact, a sudden drowsiness came over him and knocked him unconscious.
Kim dokja woke up in a wooden canoe, in the middle of a sea of ruins, looking around he saw Yoo Joonghyuk unconscious beside him.
Before he could panic from the surprising situation he found himself in, unknown voices started whispering in his ears, they sounded crazy and rational, evil and saintly, old and young, all saying different things, some shouting some crying, all at once, he felt he could hear the voices of all the beings on this earth, it was horrible, he tried to cover his ears in a useless attempt to stop the noise, but it didn't work, he felt his face distorted by the pain, he was reaching the limit and it seemed he was not the only one who was going crazy.
From the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of Yoo Joonghyuk waking up from the immense pain, his eyes were bloodshot and the veins on his forehead looked like they were going to burst, he had a scowl plastered on his face, it looks like he was futilely trying to endure the pain.
Fear invaded Kim dokja thinking that they were going to die without even knowing why.
[Kim dokja calm down]
Immediately after hearing the voice from the fourth wall, the whispering stopped and the pain went away as if they never started in the first place.
[Kim dokja cover Yoo Joonghyuk's ears]
Holding back the urge to ask the fourth wall what the hell just happened, Kim dokja went to help Yoo Joonghyuk, he placed his hands on Yoo Joonghyuk's ears and this surprisingly helped, as Yoo Joonghyuk's face was back to normal and his body didn't look so tense anymore.
Kim dokja let out a sigh that he didn't know what he was holding back as he saw Yoo Joonghyuk come to his senses, then heard Yoo Joonghyuk's slightly hoarse voice ask:
- 'Kim dokja what did you do now?
This bastard' thought Kim dokja, he took advantage of the fact that he still had his hands on Yoo Joonghyuk's head and pulled his ears in revenge.
- Damn sunfish, I saved your life and instead of thanking me you're reproaching me.
- You were the one who jumped through the portal," said Yoo Joonghyuk with anger in his tone.
- Oh. So you followed me. - Kim dokja wasn't very surprised, he almost expected it.
Yoo Joonghyuk's face gave the feeling that he wanted to kill someone and that someone was Kim dokja.
Kim Dokja, feeling that his death was fast approaching, began to speak.
- According to the information in the scenario, we have to help this world to prevent the outside gods from destroying it, since they gave us very little information, what we have to do now is to get out of this sea and go to towards the coast. Oh and you don't have to worry about the company, apparently until we clear the scenario time will stop in our world, so they will not be exposed to the danger of the scenarios, while we are gone. - Kim dokja said all this very quickly with his hands raised in surrender.
Yoo Joonghyuk could only sigh at the infuriating situation he was in with this rat bastard.
- Then let's get the hell out of here, this place is giving me the creeps.
Kim dokja stopped his chattering when he heard Yoo Joonghyuk and took a close look at the place they were in.
There was no sun or clouds, yet the sky had yellow stripes that gave the illusion that it was noon.
The sea seemed to be burning in golden flames, reflecting the light from the sky.
It was the first time I had seen a place like this, this site did not even appear in 'three ways to survive'.
In the distance he can see structures that is barely standing, as if they were wiped out by an earthquake of great magnitude.
Kim dokja was about to agree with Yoo Joonghyuk and fly away, when suddenly everything went dark, it was so sudden that Kim dokja almost asked who turned off the lights.
There was no moon and no stars, the whole place was terribly dark.
This gave off a terribly creepy and alarming feeling, it seemed that they were being watched by indescribable creatures hiding in the darkness.
The two men took up a battle stance, leaning on each other's backs, in case of any sudden attack in the midst of the endless darkness.
After a few minutes of tense silence, Kim dokja watched as his right foot gradually disappeared, as if he was a drawing and was being erased.
Yoo Joonghyuk was not much better off than him, as his left foot had already completely disappeared, he was barely keeping his balance.
Yoo Joonghyuk was not going to stand by and watch him disappear from the face of the earth, so he raised his head and was going to talk to Kim dokja to get out of here, but when he was about to speak he saw Kim dokja desperately saying:
- Yoo Joonghyuk, we have to sleep now!!!- after saying that and without any further explanation, Kim dokja closed his eyes, and slept.
Yoo Joonghyuk didn't have time to question it, he chose to trust Kim dokja, he closed his eyes and then fell into the world of dreams.
A few hours ago, Somewhere in the Sonia Sea.
Klein saw Cattleya coming out of her own cabin.
She looked much better than the day before, after using that spell to flee from The Death Announcer, she was wearing a pair of thick glasses and said to him:
- 'Make your preparations, we'll soon reach those waters.
'So fast? I thought it would take longer...' Klein thought out of phase.
Although Gehrman Sparrow did not say so, cattleya noted his surprise and simply explained:
- 'it's a special spell that makes it impossible for the herald of death to haunt us.
'Yes, Mrs. Cattleya is still a pirate admiral, in front of the four kings we still have a chance to escape.' Klein nodded his head, he planned to pass by the star admiral and head to the ship's mess hall for breakfast.
Just as Klein was about to take a step, he felt the whole ship shake.
The scene ahead of the ship naturally appeared in Klein's mind.
The sea was being separated by a great rift, the water was cascading into a darkness with no apparent bottom.
It was a magnificent scene, it looked like the end of the world was coming to earth.
The ship could not stop in time, sailed to the edge and fell along with the water.
The pirates flew and crashed into the ceiling, the objects around them were breaking and crashing randomly in the air.
Klein used his clown skills to balance himself and look less stupid.
The one who looked better than the others was cattleya, as illusory stars appeared around her and made her float in the air, the sudden jolt of the ship did not affect her.
As the ship was about to fall into the bottomless crevice, the water beneath it suddenly rose up.
It lifted the ship into the air and sent it over the edge.
When the ship finally landed in the sea, Klein regained his balance and noticed the sunlight shining through the window illuminating the disastrous Interior.
Klein quickly went to the window and saw that the endless sea shimmered golden reflecting the light from the sky, it seemed that all this time it had been noon, when only a few seconds ago it was morning.
They had reached the sea of ruins.
