   Summary

   Something is wrong on Jeros, the Federation’s newest planet. It has suddenly lost all contact with Earth. Admiral Pike orders Jim, Bones, Ensign Chekov, Lt. Hendorff, and Lt. Hannity, on an undercover mission to find out what’s happened. On Jeros, the mission becomes more and more dangerous as the team deals with unexpected freezing temperatures, Orion pirates, multiple murders, and Enterprise orbiting above them battling an enemy ship without their Captain.
