Adore You

Summary:

It's beautiful. So beautiful. The shrewd movement looks boisterous but terrifying, Hilsman admits. The sword art displayed by the stranger named Choi Han looked like a dance of death. It was beautiful, yet deadly. With just one swing of the sword, one move, like the wind blowing, the rogues were killed easily.

Hilsman didn't want to admit it, but he fell in love with the sword arts brought by Choi Han. Yes, the waving motion of the sword is amazingly beautiful. Hilsman couldn't hold back his feelings. For the first time in a long time, Hilsman was excited about something.

Notes:

English is not my first language, and I use Grammarly AHAHAHAHAH. I'm really sorry for the misspelling.

I'm sorry google translate, but it's not my fault...

Work Text:

It starts with Hilsman first meeting Choi Han.

Simply put, Hilsman is a vice-captain at the Henituse Estate, which is quite recognized and respected among the soldiers there. With his rank, Hilsman is certainly proud. He became a devout knight and was devoted to his Master from the bottom of his heart.

Even though he knows for certain events he has to serve trash, but well, that's his job. As long as he sets his heart, soul, and body to become a knight of this Household, it's not even a problem. After all, that trash was Master's dear son whom he served with all he had. Yes, that trash is also the Master, His Young Master.

As the vice-captain, Hilsman had the authority to meddle in the affairs his trashy Young Master had done after the commotion. Throwing things, bottles, broken furniture here and there, thugs being beaten up, have become daily life. Although in the end, all he could do was clean up his Young Master's creations.

Just imagine how shocked he was when he received a report from another soldier that his trashy Young Master brought an unknown, shabby, dirty, street-looking, poor traveler into the estate.

And imagine again, in just a week, that peasant joined his trash Young Master's journey to the capital as a bodyguard. Pathetic isn't it?

Hilsman, who was the vice-captain, someone who was acknowledged to be his Young Master's bodyguard knight, fell in honor of having to go with that stranger. However, Hilsman knew, he knew better, as a knight he had to be sharp with his instincts. That guy is strong.

That's dangerous, he thought. The Young Master may be fierce trash, but he is weak. If something bad happens then it's a big consequence for Hilsman.

"You shouldn't be here" Was the first thing Hilsman said to the man, with a slightly arrogant tone so that the other person knows their position. But the stranger just passed by.

"Yo-Young master, the battle is over" Hilsman said as he knocked on the door of his Young Master's carriage politely but his voice was doubtful.

"It wasn't a big deal" Someone was walking behind him. Hilsman shuddered and turned to look at the source of the voice. His heart was beating fast.

"They were easy" And what Hilsman got was an innocent smile of happiness and blood on that person's horror face.

Hilsman could only gasp.

Rival. For Hilsman, Choi Han was his rival. Every time it was Choi Han, Hilsman didn't want to lose. Choi Han had always been stronger and more powerful than himself. Therefore Hilsman determined that Choi Han was his rival and also his Master in martial arts and sword arts.

Hilsman was afraid of Choi Han at first, but all went well in the end.

Hilsman was quite pleased with the result anyway. At least he was trusted enough by the Young Master Silver Shield, his beloved hero, to be by his side in some important events and wars. (He is also quite happy to know that he is considered to be part of the people under the auspices of his Young Master).

And, it is a pleasure for him to be trained by Choi Han in such a challenging place (yes, the forest of darkness is a forbidden area, but okay). It was fun, practicing together with the wolf kids, giving their best every session, laughing happily together. This is family, a new family for him. And Hilsman liked the idea.

Hilsman wasn't going to lie, he felt happy just by seeing the free laughter that Choi Han let out while training the wolf children and himself. This could be called a gift for him. And for the second time, Hilsman felt excited, very fresh, and strong to be by his side.

For Hilsman, Choi Han was someone he respected and valued the most after his Master and Young Master.

In the depths of his heart, Hilsman swore, I will fight together by his side until the end.

It is an honor to follow the path of a Swordmaster, The Crown Prince Instructor, and Hero.

Far from what Hilsman expected. He's so useless now.

Alone in a locked room that is nowhere and foreign to him. It was quite dark, but he didn't feel any danger around him, wasn't tied up, wasn't starving (?), he just lay on the bed in a weak state like he'd had a very long sleep. Hey, the mattress is quite comfortable.

Was he kidnapped?

Hilsman was worried. Currently, there is still a great war in Puzzle City. He remembered he wanted to go home for a while to let his family know that he was going to the battlefield. But instead, he lay weak as if he had been given a sleeping potion and was paralyzed for a long time (because he was still feeling sleepy).

Hilsman was worried, he was worried that something bad would happen in his absence. Even worse if he was made a hostage of the enemy.

But all those thoughts began to fade when he remembered the face of someone he really appreciated. His Hero, his Master, his fellow Swordsman, and his new family, Choi Han.

Yes, all is well, he can definitely work it out. I'm sure he's at our Young Master's side now.

That thought calmed him down

Aah.. I wish I was by his side fighting together.

Suddenly a feeling of drowsiness hit him very strongly. His eyes are very heavy.

That person's bright smile and innocent face grabbed his memory. Choi Han is strong, he knows, but that doesn't stop him from being fascinated by his unique gentle temperament that only Choi Han has. Not only was his sword art beautiful, but his smile and laughter too. Hilsman admits it.

Choi Han is a person who is quite gentle with his family and friends but will be deadly if anything happens to them.

Everything will be alright.

Blink, and blink again.

I hope Lord Duke and Young Master are not in trouble because of me.

The drowsiness grew stronger, he couldn't help it.

I'm fine, Choi Han and Young Master were there, we'll definitely win.

The shield won't break if the sword is strong.

...

I pray that they will all be well.

And with that, everything went dark. Hilsman went back into a sleep for who knows how long it would last.
