Chapter Text
“Fuck you, asshole!”
The sound of Feyre’s voice resonated through the halls of the spring court manor as the high lady of the Dusk court stormed out, leaving behind cracks on the floor as she walked, her anger tangible.
The wind became colder and the manor trembled in fear as the most powerful High Lady in Prythian cast her hands out at the High Lord of Spring and bared her teeth, the portraits on the walls tumbled down and a barrier between the High Lady and lord was erected from the thorns of the roses that seemed to enclose the pathetic manor.
She raised her chin and Tamlin swallowed in fear, “ Stay away from me and my people, you dickwad. You and me,” she gestured between them, “ we’re done. Do I make myself clear High lord?”
She bit out the words, disgust lacing her tongue. Feyre’s nostrils flared as Tamlin opened his mouth, “Feyre please-”
“I said we’re done!” As her words settled the manor let out a terrifying wail. Feyre smirked as the windows shattered and the disgusting roses wilted under her gaze.
Tamlin looked around with fear at the ruin she had caused.
Feyre felt nothing but satisfaction as she witnessed Tamlin cowering at the sight of her power, she lowered the barrier and stepped closer to him, her spine straight, a cruel smile gracing her face.
“Let him see the wolf beneath, let him see that he is nothing but an insolent worm at your mercy”
Her voice echoed from deep within her and she spoke with all the power of a high lady,
“ You are powerless in front of me Tamlin. You cannot do anything to me anymore. Enjoy your lonely, miserable life in this hell hole. You made your bed, now lie in it bastard.”
Her words were as precise and sharp as a sword and were exactly what she had needed to say to finally be rid of him.
With that, she let her grip on her powers loosen and relished as Tamlin paled at her presence,
“I am Feyre Archeron, High lady of the Dusk court and you will bow before my presence, you imbecile.”
Tamlin was forced to bow as her powers swirled around them and she smirked devilishly as she walked closer to a bowing Tamlin, she held his chin, forcing him to look at her as she leaned into him till she was a breathe away from his lips, she dragged a fingernail down his stunned face before whispering in a voice that was as sweet as honey,
“The next time we meet- well let’s just say that you should say your nightly prayers to the cauldron, we wouldn’t want you to bleed to death now, do we?”
Tamlin’s eyes widened and Feyre winnowed away from the dreadful place before he could respond.
