Introduction:

Happy Ningguang day!! I've done some research into the Beiguang tag on the Archive of Our Own, including word counts, freeform tags, side pairings, ratings, languages, and more!
Timeline:
The month with the most Beiguang fics on AO3 was August, with 160 new works - 21% of all fics in the tag so far. The pairing also grew massively through November and December.
Ratings & categories:
82.8% of Beiguang fics are categorized as F/F, and 38 percent of them are otp:true, meaning they only have one relationship tagged (in this case Beidou/Ningguang).
Crossovers:
There are 17 Beiguang fics with more than one fandom tag (crossovers). The most common non-Genshin Impact fandom tags include Harry Potter, Video Blogging RPF, Fruits Basket, MCU, and Cardcaptor Sakura, as well as Minecraft and Miraculous Ladybug.
Side pairings:
The most popular side pairings in Beiguang fics on AO3 have fluctuated since October 2020, but Childe/Zhongli, Jean/Lisa, and Xingqiu/Chongyun have been consistently the most common. The biggest movers were Ganyu/Keqing, Xiao/Venti, Yanfei/Hu Tao, and Eula/Amber.

Additional tags:
The three most common freeform (additional) tags for Beiguang fics have consistently been 'Fluff,' 'Alternate Universe - Modern Setting,' and 'Angst.' In the past few months, 'Alternate Universe - High School' and 'Chatting & Messaging.'

I scraped the 20 most recent Beiguang fics on AO3 and found that the average word count was 29k words.
The longest fic in the tag is 201k words, and the shortest real fic ("real" meaning I excluded podfics, comics, 'find a fic' requests, etc.) is 78 words.
Languages on AO3:
The most popular languages include English, Russian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, and more.
I also checked Pixiv.net and found that there were 26 works in the #Beiguang tag!
