Keonhee and Hwanwoong were cuddling on the couch; their knees were drawn up to their chests as they held hands. A movie was playing on the screen, but Hwanwoong wasn't paying attention. He was too engrossed in examining Keonhee. Well, what he could see with his head buried in Keonhee's neck - which wasn't much to say.
Keonhee was known as being the loudmouth of the group; the funny one who makes everyone laugh because of how extra he was, but they all failed to realize just how handsome Keonhee really was. Yeah, all the members were handsome, but there was just something about him that Hwanwoong couldn't take his eyes away from.
"What are you looking at?" Keonhee asked. He was still focused on the movie, but sometime during it, he caught Hwanwoong staring.
"You," Hwanwoong smoothly replied, smiling innocently at the way Keonhee sputtered. His mouth was opening and closing like a fish, and Hwanwoong couldn't help but find it cute. Leaning in, he pressed his lips against Keonhee's. It was only a quick peck, yet it felt like an entire year had passed by.
"You're so handsome," Hwanwoong complimented, giving Keonhee another peck, except this time, it was on his cheek. "You're so funny, cute, and amazing." Each compliment was punctuated with a kiss somewhere on the latter's face. By the time Hwanwoong was done, Keonhee's entire face was beet red.
His hands flew to his face, his eyes peeking out from between his fingers. "Why, all of a sudden?" he asked, unable to stop his voice from trembling. He had curled in on himself, trying to hide his embarrassment.
"Because it's true," Hwanwoong replied firmly. He grabbed one of Keonhee's hands, coaxing it free to intertwine their hands back together. Leaning down, he placed a chaste kiss against the back of the taller's hand. Keonhee's hand twitched, but he didn't retract.
"You!" Keonhee accused. "Why do you have to be so smooth?"
Interlacing their other hands together, Hwanwoong replied with, "Because I'm a sap and I love you, Lee Keonhee."
"Yeah, you're a total sap," Keonhee agreed, fervently nodding his head. "But, I am too. And I love you, Yeo Hwanwoong."
"We get it, you two. You're both madly in love. Now can you change the channel please?" a voice drawled from behind them, unmistakably Dongju's.
"You don't have to be so jealous," Keonhee mocked, sticking his tongue out at the maknae.
Keonhee expected the kitten-like punch Dongju threw at his shoulder, returning the favor with his own playful punch.
"Whatever," Dongju retorted, plopping down beside Hwanwoong. "Hwanwoong hyung is still mine." He wrapped his gangly arms around Hwanwoong's shoulders and gave him a peck on his cheek. It was more of a friendly gesture and to rile Keonhee up than anything, and Hwanwoong knew, so he didn't do anything but giggle along with the maknae as Keonhee sputtered indignantly.
Just like this, surrounded by his members - his family and brothers - Hwanwoong never felt more content.
