It is a normal at the Toudou-an. Toudou is doing his duties as a good host as usual, except today is Valentine and a certain freshman decides to give him a visit. He told Manami to wait for a moment before he finishes whatever things he need to do first. Once he's done taking care of the customers that came, he leads Manami to his room.
Toudou doesn't think that Manami has any purpose coming to his place. The boy looks around as they walk, humming a random song and looking as cheerful as ever. Once they arrive, Toudou tells him to sit down and he does.
"What are you here for, Manami?" Toudou crosses his arm. Manami holds out a small bag and puts it on the table. He is still smiling widely and it starts to get on Toudou's nerves.
Toudou laughs "Don't tell me you're here to give me that for valentine? Of course you'll give me one, after all I'm-"
"Actually, it really is for you, Toudou san."
Toudou stops his talking. He looks at Manami then the bag then to Manami again.
"Are you serious?" This is will not be the first time if Manami decides to play tricks on him. He can never read this weirdo's mind after all. However, Manami simply keep his poker face and looks at Toudou straight.
"I'm always serious about you, Toudou san."
Toudou can feel his cheeks warming up, damn Manami always knowing what to say to him. He's not going to let Manami embarrass him!
"Hmph!"
Toudou grabs the bag and mutters a small thank you. Despite receiving some from his friends too, those aren't as embarrassing as this. He takes a look inside and sees something he never expects from Manami. It's homemade chocolates. They're quite fancy too, each chocolate is decorated differently.
"Do you like them?"
Manami is smiling fondly, a rare look considering that he's usually smiling so freely like he will fly away or something.
"It's good but it's homemade. Do you want to date me or something?"
"Yes. Which is why I give it to you, Toudou san."
Toudou is stunned. He does notice that Manami has been staring at him a lot but he never expects it to be this. Well, Manami is just as popular as him and his eyes are pretty- Wait, wait! Since when does he sees Manami as pretty? He can't deny that Manami has caught his eyes as a pretty boy who can steal his fans. He is quite fond of him as well but... Agh! Just admit it Toudou Jinpachi!
"I really like you. Will you date me, Toudou san?"
"W-why are you so confident anyway??" Toudou can't accept that Manami is so composed and calm while he's panicking all over.
"That's not a no..."
Toudou widens his eyes and quickly yells "You can wait for my answer at White Day!"
Toudou shoos Manami away, telling him that he still has work to do. Manami's shoulder dropped, he probably wish that Toudou will give him his answer now. After Manami finally leaves, all that's left is a completely flustered Toudou trying to control the blush that's taking over his face.
"That idiot!" He's definitely going to pay him back for White Day of course. Now, to find the perfect gift for him.
