anyways enjoyyyyyyy.
"Mommy wake up please." Feeling my cheek being pressed multiple times made me let out a huff of defeat, here we go. "We are gonna be late Mommy" Ugh but its Saturday I felt one of the the two twins jump on top shaking me.
Opening my eyes slightly I sat up on my elbows, I can tell my hair is crazy each hair probably going a different way and my eyes definitely have prominate dark circles due to the fact I got absolutely no sleep last night. One of the twins decided to sleep in my bed saying he couldn't sleep and he wanted to 'stay with his mommy'. How I could say no?
Let's just say the constant kicking in the face made it a little difficult to sleep.
"Five minutes." my voice cracked as I tried to cuddle deeper into the duvet that barley rested on top of me. Another problem when the twins sleep with me, they take all the blankets leaving me shivering on the bed. "No mommy" Tarou argued on top of me shaking me gently, kinda. "Don't worry we made coffee, yummy!" The eldest Twin Youta cheered making me jump out of bed, almost launching Tarou off the bed.
Running into the kitchen of the 2 bedroom apartment my jaw dropped at the sight, there was coffee everywhere and they had broken multiple mugs. The white cabinets were now brown.
Turning around and running over to them both of their eyes widened "It wasn't me, it was him!" They shouted in sync pointing to each other. Grabbing both of them I checked head to toe making sure they didn't get cut by the broken pieces or burnt by the hot coffee they attempted to make for me.
"Are you okay?" Youta gave me a close eyed smile in response, jeez you look like him when you smile. "we are okay mommy, Tarou cut his finger but I kissed it better like you always do."
"Youta put a paw patrol band-aid on it even though I told him to put a cool kid one." What does he mean cool kid one? "The ones that you wear mommy, also all the big kids we play volleyball with." He frowned reading my mind. I just let out a giggle. Why is a 6 year old child so sad about something so silly like a band-aid.
---
I had found out I was pregnant for the twins after Atsumu and I broke up at the end of our third year. (pretty much graduation). Good timing I know right. After Graduation I moved to my own apartment in Tokyo and started selling drugs...just kidding I opened my own flower shop. We weren't very busy at first so I worked a couple shops down at a bakery as well.
It was difficult to take care of two babies and work at the same time. Of course I got help from friends and family but at the end of the day its just me, Youta and Tarou.
After quickly getting ready I got the twins stuff ready for their volleyball club. Yes, they play volleyball. Honestly I didn't like the idea of them playing volleyball like Atsumu but they both fell in love with it after my father showed them videos of me playing in High School.
Even though I hated the thought of them being anything like Atsumu they like the sport and that's all that matters. Plus it was apart of my life as well, not just his.
"Mommy when we get home can we watch some volleyball please." Youta asked putting on his shoes. Grabbing the keys to my car I just hummed a yes, I need to drop off the boys and then go to my shop. Bring Hitomi her flower arrangement, Then go pick them up again, go see what the fuck Kuroo wants, then come home make dinner and watch volleyball because Youta asked politely.
Piece of cake.
"Okay time to go!"
---
"Have fun boys, oh and here!" I smiled giving them both a granola bar and a quick hug before I needed to get back in the car. They both let out cute byes as I left the building and sprinted to my car. I need to go do maybe 3 or 4 arraignments including Hitomi's red and white rose bouquet.
Parking in my spot I turned off the engine of SUV and quickly looked at myself through the tiny mirror making sure I looked presentable to any costumers that might be inside.
Stepping out of the vehicle I grabbed my purse, keys and phone before walking inside. The chimes lightly sounded as I opened the door to my flower shop, looking at the cash register I saw Kimi. She was one of the two part time workers at the shop, they both attended college and needed some extra cash in their pockets.
"How are you doing today Miss l/n?" Kimi asked ringing up a bouquet for the costumer. I had told her to call me y/n but she never budged. it makes me feel old. I'm not that much older than her. Yes I'm a mom but people often forget that I'm only 24. Letting out a sigh. "I'm doing good, if you need me I'll be in the back." She gave me a nod and went back to her costumer. She was a great worker and knew quite a lot about flowers and arrangements. Going to the back where I made all of the shops arrangements I got started.
(Of course your employees would make a couple but you often did them yourself)
Two hours of hard work and I had finally finished them all, placing them out for people to buy, I made six. Grabbing Hitomi's bouquet I quickly said a goodbye to Kimi before heading to my SUV. "Just need to drop these off and then go pick the boys up." I mumbled to myself buckling my seatbelt.
Once I got to Hitomi's house I was about to knock on the door but it was swung open. "come in come in" she smiled opening her door fully so I could enter. I've known Hitomi since high school, we also played volleyball together every year in high school, she was the setter of the Nekoma High school girls team as well. Not only was she my teammate and classmate, she was my best friend. She helped me a lot.
"Here you go!" Giving her the bouquet of red and white roses she hugged me tightly. I wasn't a huge fan of hugging or physical touch in general, but her hugs were legit a source of comfort. Along with Youta and Tarou of course.
"Thank you oh my god, I owe you y/n." I gave her a nod slipping off my shoes and following her into her living room.
"I forgot to ask but what are they for?" I asked titling my head to the side "My mom is coming over tonight and you know her." Hitomi groaned placing the flowers on her coffee table. Lets just say this...Hitomi's mother was crazy, in high school if Hitomi was one minute late she would get grounded for weeks
. "I swear to god every time she comes over I need to have something for her or else its the end of the world."
I just laughed "So how are the twins?" Hitomi was amazing with them, if I was ever to busy and I needed a babysitter she would already be at my house ready to go. When the twins were super young she would stay over some nights and just help me with them. Some people have their parents and their partners in the delivery room with them when they have children, I had Hitomi and Kuroo.
After a bit of chatting I looked at my phone realizing that it was almost time for me to pick up the boys from volleyball. "I better get going, I don't want to be late" After some quick goodbyes I was in the vehicle on my way to pick up Youta and Tarou.
