The weather today was perfect for taking a walk in the park. Taecyeon had planned to take Eddie out for a walk for a while and today seemed like a good time. Eddie was already waiting for his owner at the front door, wagging his tail and yelping when Taecyeon appeared in the living room.
“Are you excited, buddy? I bet you are~” Taecyeon went to Eddie and petted the dog. Eddie barked happily and licked his owner’s face.
Taecyeon laughed fondly at his dog and put Eddie in his harness. Taecyeon bidded goodbye to his parents and they took off to the park. They walked for about 7 minute before they arrived and the first thing Eddie did there was sniffing at the flowers.
“Do you like the flowers, Eddie-yah?” Taecyeon cooed at the dog, taking a few pictures of him and sending it to his parents.
Eddie smiled at Taecyeon and leaned against his owner’s leg. Taecyeon patted him, happy to see his dog enjoying the walk.
Taecyeon watched as Eddie curiously sniffed at almost everything and moved closer to other dogs who were in the park with their owners. When Eddie was surprised by one of the dogs who was barking at him, the dog had hid himself behind Taecyeon which made the owner laugh.
They walked for a while and when Taecyeon felt like he had had enough of walking, he settled down on a bench, taking the leash off of Eddie’s harness and let the dog do his thing. Eddie wandered around the area, still within Taecyeon’s line of vision and suddenly got very excited at something. Taecyeon curiously looked at what Eddie had found and formed a big smile on his face upon seeing what Eddie was excited about.
“Wooyoung-ah!” Taecyeon called.
Wooyoung waved at Taecyeon, a smile on his face. Wooyoung was wearing his glasses today and his hair looked as fluffy as the clouds. It has been a while since Taecyeon had seen the younger. Both of them were busy with work, especially Wooyoung who worked as a surgeon. He really missed the other and is the reason why Taecyeon showed the biggest gummy smile towards the other.
“Hyung! You’re gonna hurt your face if you keep smiling like that.” Wooyoung laughed, also happy to see Taecyeon after a long time.
Taecyeon grinned and patted the seat beside him for Wooyoung to sit. The younger gladly took it, picking Eddie up on his way and gave the dog pets that he had long wanted to give.
“What’s that?” Taecyeon asked, pointing at the paper bag Wooyoung had brought along.
Wooyoung smiled sheepishly, a blush creeping through his cheeks. “Well, you’ve been texting me that you wanted to try that one bakery around the street of my area. Since I’m free today, I figured I’d buy some for you and your family.”
Taecyeon stared at Wooyoung in disbelief and was genuinely touched by Wooyoung’s kind gesture. It had only been a few days since he texted Wooyoung about it and he was really excited to taste the pastries.
“Woo, my baby, I love you so much. Let me give you kisses to show you how much I appreciate this.” Taecyeon leaned towards Wooyoung but the other had blocked his lips with his hand.
“Hyung, not now. I want to play with Eddie first.” Wooyoung smiled brightly and stood up calling the dog to which Eddie responded quickly.
Taecyeon chuckled. He took a piece of the pastry Wooyoung got for him and took a bite. He hummed in delight. It was just as he imagined it’ll taste, soft, buttery and delicious. He would 100% buy it again and his mother would really love it. He continued to eat the pastry as he watched Wooyoung and Eddie play together.
He loved hearing Wooyoung’s cute giggles whenever Eddie did a trick and acted cutely. It made his heart feel many things and it was almost overwhelming. Taecyeon stared at Wooyoung so fondly and had a smile so big, people would think he’s crazy in love with him. Which he actually is.
Taecyeon finished the rest of his food and cleaned the crumbs away from his lap. He stood up, slowly walking towards Wooyoung and hugged him from behind.
Wooyoung looked up, smiled when he saw Taecyeon’s face and leaned his head against Taecyeon’s wide chest. “Like the bread, hyung?”
Taecyeon hummed and kissed the younger’s cheeks which made Wooyoung giggle. Taecyeon smiled and couldn’t help but kiss Wooyoung on the lips. The younger let him, giving the older a deep kiss before they pulled away.
Wooyoung stared at Taecyeon’s beautiful and sparkling eyes, the younger’s heart was blooming like a full bloom flower.
The same goes to Taecyeon. He was smiling widely like an idiot as he stared back at Wooyoung, feeling the love Wooyoung has for him. Taecyeon held Wooyoung close to him, not wanting to let the younger go. He wanted to treasure this feeling. This feeling of being in love with the smaller man and still staying in love despite them not meeting as often as they used to. Taecyeon was glad he hadn’t fallen out of love towards Wooyoung. He wouldn’t want to know what it would feel like not loving Wooyoung anymore.
All of a sudden Wooyoung let out a laugh.
Taecyeon raised an eyebrow, asking him why he was suddenly laughing. Wooyoung pointed towards the ground and that’s when he realised they had completely forgotten about Eddie. The dog was staring at them with sad eyes, feeling left out.
“He kind of looks like you, hyung. Especially during that one time I was late for our double date with Junho and Chansung.” Wooyoung said. He freed himself from Taecyeon’s hug and picked Eddie up, holding the dog close to him.
Taecyeon snickered and petted Eddie. “Well you know what they say, the pets follow their owners.”
“True. At times I could see your resemblance.”
Eddie had suddenly licked Wooyoung’s face when the younger had gotten too close with the dog and it made Taecyeon burst into laughter. Wooyoung pouted at Taecyeon, letting Eddie go and took off his glasses that were covered with the dog’s saliva.
“Come on. Let’s go to my apartment so that you can clean your face. My parents would also be happy to see you, Wooyoung-ah.” Taecyeon suggested, hooking Eddie’s leash back at him and trying hard to contain his giggles.
Wooyoung nodded and used Taecyeon’s shirt to clean the lenses. The younger put it back on, blinking a few times to see if he could see clearly and frowned at Eddie.
Taecyeon chuckled, finding both of them amusing and pinched the younger’s cheeks, making Wooyoung smile again.
“Let’s go, Wooyoung-ah.”
