“There is nothing more to say,” the raven haired woman simply spoke, as her last words darted through this man’s heart, destroying all hopes of saving this relationship!
Ringo Starr just stared into the dark from his driveway. Maureen had left and he watched her car disappear. His first bride kissed him for a final time, deeply and passionately, before taking her place in the drivers seat of her car.
“Are you sure we can’t talk this out?” her husband pleaded for the last time.
“There is nothing more to say.” Maureen told him coldly, staring with her dark brown eyes out the windshield of her car. Then the soon to be ex wife slammed the metal door, started the vehicle, and backed out of their home. His home or her home. They’ll have to decide with the lawyers. Oh my god there would be lawyers between them now! To think he cuddled this young woman naked from nightmares. Then Starr recalled another bitter time, where Maureen had held him crying for reasons the drummer of the Beatles couldn’t reveal to her. George and Starr were fighting, but she found him in his distraught state. Ringo realized now, Maureen knew why he was so upset, yet she still held him, desperately wanting her husband to come clean. If he had just told her back then, maybe they could have worked something out.
The threesome the Starkey’s had with their shared lover George Harrison, was beautiful and would replay in the drummers memory, probably for the rest of his life. Ringo was with the two people he loved the most, and during the passion the man discovered, this was exactly what he was longing for. The act in the bedroom with the three of them, filled a void he didn’t know he had. Seeing his wife and male lover together was strangely erotic. It was like watching two girls play together, only instead it was two people Starr deeply loved. Now these flashes would haunt him, of what could have been.
Despite knowing this was the last time he would ever make love to his wife again, Ringo Starr gave Maureen the fullest of his passions, to make her realize what she was losing. Oh why was he lying to himself? He wanted to express his full love for his first ever bride. Ringo was Maureen’s first lover, while he has had hundreds of women, and four men in his conquest. Hell Starr literally had sex with more MEN than his wife. Lamenting on the past, Ringo concluded Maureen was a wonderful wife, the best mother he could ever want to raise his children, and he lost her without fully realizing all her amazing qualities.
Ringo knew she was smart, but shit, not only did the youngest amongst the four couples, pull the rug out from under his feet, but of his entire group. The famous rock star was an adulterer, he was guilty and he really couldn’t be angry with her. He wanted to be, but the truth is, it was all his fault. Not a single groupie was worth losing Maureen, yet he has had hundreds. And prostitutes. And side girlfriends. My god could somebody really be addicted to sex? He sat there lamenting all the over indulging he has done over the last ten years, and the neglect this cost his family.
Suddenly a warm arm was wrapped around the shattered husband, and betrayed lover. It was George Harrison. The one other than his wife, Starr loved with all his heart. George and Maureen made him whole. Starr wanted to be mad at his male lover, but losing both all at once, was just too much!
In defeat, Ringo relentlessly found himself leaning in to the man who betrayed him with his wife.
It was a dark time, but at least George’s arms were warm.
