Chapter Text
I was covered in blood...I didn't know who's it was or when it got there this whole battle had been adrenaline and now...it was over, the council was gone, never seen, was disbanded and it was over.. maybe now that darkness can claim me for a while..
Bump bump...bump...bump…Sophie...Sophie..
A voice cut through my sweet darkness and it bothered me.
"SOPHIE?!" I heard a crisp voice scream and my body picked up and shaken. "Sophie? Please answer me…"
I open my eyes to be met with a pair of brilliant teal blue eyes. "Hey there…"
I watch his face light up and go into a gentle but sad smile. "I thought I lost you again."
I push off of him and stand on my own two legs holding on to him still a little. "Not this time and never again."
He pulls me back to him. "Good now I believe you owe me that conversation."
"Now?" I ask in disbelief we just had an almost all out war and lost people friends and he wanted to talk about us.
"Yes, now figure it out now before the world has a chance to pull us back apart again so sit."
I give in and sit after all he is right we were always pulled apart.
"Sophie Elizabeth Foster I have known you for over 5 years now and we have been through alot together now from the day I found you and brought you here almost ruining my favorite jacket." He pokes at me. I know he didn't really care that I got snot all over his leather jacket. He clears his throat. "I know I've been an ass to you in the past and I'm sorry about that… I want to be able to try us again. I still love you. I never stopped your corgarnt , my best friend, someone I can't seem to stop thinking about. I have missed being able to be this close with you."
I stare at him with brown eyes meeting teal. "You love me?"
"I never stopped." He intertwined his fingers with mine.
"Fitzroy Avery Vacker I love you too I always have and always will."
He pulls me close to him and leans toward me as if asking for permission to kiss me.
I kiss him lightly and again and again deeper holding onto the boy I love as the world around me cries.
