    Adrik Zhabin, who recently lost his arm while a Peacekeeper overseas, has moved in with his sister and her fiance to Portland, Oregon to readjust. They are in the midst of planning their wedding and think Adrik would benefit from helping them out. At their cake tasting, Adrik meets Leoni Hilli, the cheerful owner. Meanwhile, Nadia and Tamar are navigating their families, friends, and a cross-cultural wedding. As the chaotic planning progresses, Adrik finds himself going over to the pastry shop for more than just a morning breakfast, aided by all the lesbians in the three blocks he now calls home and leading up to the Big Day.
