Work Text:

That Slade Wilson, Wade Wilson's brother, was at Sister Margaret's bar was nothing new. It was a bar for mercenaries, also a permanent hotel for some of them. Currently Deathstroke had a permanent and exclusive contract with Lex Luthor and could not accept contracts from other people, but from time to time he would stop by to have a few drinks with his companions and see his brother.

Red Hood frequented the place, too, especially when Batman screwed up his plans. Many mercenaries preferred to get out of Red Hood's way, sometimes he helped Batman, other times he stood up to him. They didn't want to say something to piss him off or give any information for Batman to pay them a visit.

And although everyone knew their real names, in that bar there were only nicknames, but everyone knew each other.

But Red Hood was Deathstroke's protégé and no one would dare to confront either of them in that bar. Red Hood was known for his violence and bloodlust, Deathstroke acted much more delicately, being cleaner in his murders, but the result was the same. Guy who pissed him off, guy who died.

It was unusual for someone to be helpless or innocent there, but when Hood pointed to a curly young man with innocent looks, big green eyes, and most importantly, unknown at the bar, Slade guessed that the boy had either gotten the wrong bar or maybe he was trying new experiences in the wrong place. Knowing the mob between them, he quickly looked around in warning and stood next to him, Hood to the other, leaving the boy between them, protected from the actions of the rest of the customers, which was the important thing, because, although Slade would have loved to protect him from lustful stares, it was physically impossible. He already felt paternal towards him and didn't even know him! But that boy shouldn't be in that bar, seriously! What was he thinking about?

"What big eyes you have!" Said Red Hood.

Slade laughed. It was the worst flirting line ever! A little funny though, considering what he was disguised as. The boy was laughing too and shoved Jason playfully with his leg. Slade looked at Jason, looking for some sign that told him he should disappear right now, leaving them alone so they could continue the flirtation in one of the hotel rooms, preferably away from his own. But Jason did not look at him, absorbed as he was in that strange boy who did not take his eyes off him for a single moment, he seemed a ferocious animal that wanted to devour Red Hood in pleasant ways.

"They are to see you better".-whispered the boy, insinuating.

Slade couldn't see him, but knowing Jason, he knew he was smiling under the hood. This boy had captured his interest from the first moment. He wondered how much of that innocence that emanated from the boy was feigned and how much real, because Jason could be really tough when he wanted to, but something told Slade that this boy, instead of being intimidated, would be ecstatic if not excited, with the things that Jason would probably want to ask him.

"Petey! How did you not tell me you were coming? I would have picked you up! Oh wait! It was a surprise? For me? You could have gotten into a cake, although you would probably sweeten it! Waiting! Why are you with my not so handsome brother?"

Oh no! That voice. Deadpool was here and it seemed like he knew the boy. One moment! Wade was married to Vanessa! And they had two children, Rusty and Ellie! Why was he flirting with someone else? He should be ashamed of it!

Slade wanted to take his brother away from him so he wouldn't bother the boys. Jason needed to release the stress with a good fuck and forget about Batman and the problems he had caused him throughout his life for a moment. Also, he was sure, this boy was here for some reason and that was not his brother.

"Wade! Good to see you! "Said the boy in a too friendly way." I'm Peter Parker."

And surprisingly, the boy shook Slade's hand with a force comparable to his own. He, who had fought Superman more than once, recognized a mutant when he saw it. Maybe Parker could counter Jason's strength. Oh Jason, I think you're the one in trouble, kid! Slade recognized a cheater when he saw him and there was something about Peter Parker that made him watch out. Jason was sitting next to him, but Slade could guess that he was evaluating whether or not Wade was a threat, after all this is the famous Peter Parker that Wade never shut up about!

"He's just a friend of yours, isn't he, brother?" Slade looked at Wade threateningly. He really wanted to know the answer. He would smash Wade's face right then and there if need be. It all depended on the answer.

"We're just friends." Parker intervened, all his attention fixed on Jason, smiling as if he were a wolf. "I have my eyes on another prey, for a long time."

"What a big mouth you have!" Jason played along, moving closer to him.

"It's to eat you better." Peter replied, getting up and offering Jason a hand.

Wade laughed uncontrollably as he watched them climb the stairs leading to the rooms. Slade understood instantly. Parker's visit to that bar had not been fortuitous and neither was his being alone. A couple of nights ago Wade asked him when he was going to meet Jason at the bar, but at that moment he didn't care, accustomed as he was to the oddities of his brother. Slade released his brother.

"Are you going to explain what just happened?" Slade asked, asking the bartender for a drink.

"The boy went to Gotham a few days ago and saw Red Hood fighting criminals." Wade said drinking from Slade's glass. "He got thirsty for him and asked me to help him get to know him. I was watching you from the back door to see if you were approaching him or not."

"Did he see Hood in action and still want to meet him?" Slade was hallucinating. What a night! " Jesus, Wade! That child must be crazy or does not know what he is exposing himself to."

"Afraid your little red riding hood has found his big bad wolf, his little brother?" Wade asked. Slade raised an eyebrow, looking at him incredulously.

- Big Bad Wolf? More like a puppy.

"If you only knew, Slade…" Wade murmured.

Slade didn't like this, it was like Wade was hiding something and he had never been good at keeping secrets. But Slade would never again in his life read the story of Little Red Riding Hood, or watch her movies, in the same way.

Meanwhile, with Peter Parker kneeling before him, exploring his body and kissing every scar made by the Joker and other villains, Jason Tood, ecstatic, stared at him in wonder at the delicacy he had with him, wondering where that man had been all his life. It was the first night they'd met, but he had every intention of having a second, maybe a third. He didn't know Peter Parker very much, but he seemed like the kind of man you could introduce to the family. Jason didn't know, but Peter had similar thoughts.
