Chapter Text

(Over in Vegas Mark and Reagan are walking around the casino talking and joking around it's been about two months since Kate and Reagan broke so that she could

give Sophie the second chance she's been wanting since Kate got back to Gotham but that choice couldn't of come at worse time given how Kate and Reagan's

daughter is over a year old and upset that her parents have broken up so after the break up Mark offered to take Reagan and KJ out of Gotham for awhile and they left

to which Kate agreed and Reagan told her she'd call and let Kate talk to KJ before she went to sleep at night and Kate smiled at her and Sophie looked off annoyed

which pissed Mark off to no end.)

Mark: You won Moore be happy for once in your life.

(She looks at him and then looks at Kate whose just as annoyed with her but doesn't push the issue.)

Mark: We'll call once we land.
Kate: Okay thank you.
Mark: You bet.

(Then they turned and walked out of her office and headed off. Over in Vegas.)

Mark: You are right?
Reagan: Yeah I'm fine. I mean don't get me wrong i still love Kate and I'm glad she's giving Sophie her second chance but.
Mark: But what?
Reagan: I just don't like how she took Kate from me you know.
Mark: Yeah i know. And I'm sorry Reagan.
Reagan: It's okay. Really it is. I don't blame anyone for this.
Mark: But.
Reagan: Yes you do.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Stop flirting with me it's never going to happen.

(She laughs at him as they continue on with their walk through the casino.)

An hour later.

(Back up in their room when they got to Vegas Mark had booked them a suit so that they had sperate rooms. As they walk in KJ seeing Reagan smiles at her.)

KJ: Mommy.
Reagan: Hey.

(She gets up and runs over to her as she gets to her she hugs her getting Mark to laugh at them as he sees Ares.)

Mark: Is Ares behaving herself?
KJ: No.
Mark: No.
KJ: Yeah no.
Mark: Uh-oh should i call and tell Santino?
KJ: Yeah.
Mark: Yeah.
KJ: Yeah.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Mark: Your girlfriend is so cute when she pouts.

(Reagan starts laughing at Ares face.)

Ares: (Signs) Screw you Buchanan.
Mark: Name the time and place.
KJ: Hey.
Mark: What?
KJ: Ares is my mommies.
Mark: Oh excuse me.

(He gets her in the side making her laugh as his phone goes off he grabs it out to see who it is seeing the number he answers it.)

Mark: Hey i know you don't i?
Kate: Cute.
Mark: Why thank you I'm so glad you finally noticed.

(Reagan's trying to keep from laughing along with Ares.)

Kate: Let me talk to my child you jerk.
Mark: You have a child?
Kate: Yes.
Mark: What's her name?
Kate: KJ!
Mark: You sure?
Kate: Yes. Why?
Mark: I thought her name was Sophie.
Sophie: Hey.

(He starts laughing as he hands the phone to KJ who talks to Kate.)

KJ: Hi Momma.
Kate: Hi baby girl.

(Kate's still laughing at Sophie's face.)

Sophie: Shut up babe.
Kate: I would but that was funny.

(She looks off as they continue to laugh.)

KJ: Hey stop bothering my mother you home wrecker.

(Mark hearing that looks at Reagan in shock.)

Mark: Kate Beth Kane-Queen.

(She looks at him and knows she's in trouble. Reagan takes the phone from her.)

Reagan: Kate we'll call you back.
Kate: Yeah okay.
Reagan: Tell Sophie I'm sorry.
Kate: I will.

(Then they hang up as Reagan hands the phone back to Mark and she walks off with KJ as they walk off Mark looks at Ares who looks just as shocked by what she just

heard.)

Ares: Oh boy.
Mark: Yeah. I have never heard her speak like that to anyone.
Ares: And given the look on Reagan's face.
Mark: She hasn't either.

(She nods her head at him. Back over in Gotham.)

Sophie: Wow.
Kate: Yeah i don't know what the hell has gotten into KJ lately. She's never spoken like that before.
Sophie: Well i can't really blame her for calling me a home wrecker i am the reason you and Reagan broke up.
Kate: I know. But still that wasn't called for.
Sophie: No it wasn't and i have no doubt that Reagan won't get onto her for it.
Kate: I don't either.
Sophie: Anyway. I better get back to work.
Kate: Okay.
Sophie: You are right?
Kate: Yeah I'm fine. I swear I'll see you tonight.
Sophie: Okay.

(She kisses her then pulls away from her then turns and walks off. Back over in Vegas Reagan's still talking to KJ about what she said while she was on the phone with

Kate and Sophie as she's talking to her KJ's got her head down and knows she did something wrong and quickly starts crying because she knows she messed up and

Reagan grabs her over to her and KJ clings to her getting Reagan to smile at her.)

Reagan: Now when we get back to Gotham and i drop you off with your momma you're gonna have to apologize to Sophie.
KJ: Why?
Reagan: KJ what you just said hurt her feelings.
KJ: And she hurt yours when she broke you and momma up.

(Reagan pulls her away from and looks at her.)

Reagan: Look i know you're upset with Sophie okay i get it but your momma loves her and she wanted to give her a second chance.
KJ: Oh. Okay I'll apologize. But i still don't like her.

(Reagan laughs at her then kisses her head again then pulls away from it.)

Reagan: That's okay. I don't like her much either.
KJ: Okay we can not like her together.
Reagan: Okay.

(She kisses her head then pulls away from it. As they get up and walk out of the room. As they get out into the main part of the room Mark walks over to them.)

KJ: Uncle Mark i wanted to talk to you.

(He looks at her and then to Reagan.)

Mark: What's the matter?
KJ: I still don't like Sophie.

(They start laughing then clam down.)

Mark: That's okay. I'm not that keen on Sophie right now either.
KJ: Okay.
Mark: Are right.
Reagan: She said she'd apologize to Sophie.
Mark: Okay. And you better mean it?
KJ: I will.
Mark: Are right.

(He kisses her head then pulls away from it. Over the next couple of months after leaving Vegas and headed back to Gotham when they got back Mark took KJ to Crow

Head Quarters where she could apologize to Sophie. Apologizing KJ said the same thing to Sophie that she said to both Mark and Reagan which got her to laugh.)

Sophie: That's okay. Batwoman doesn't like me either.

(KJ's mouth drops open which gets Mark to laugh at her.)

Mark: Uh-oh Soph you brought up the B word.
Sophie: Oops.
KJ: You know Batwoman?
Sophie: Well not personally. She's saved me more times then Nina Reeves can count.

(Mark starts laughing at her face.)

KJ: Her a mean.
Sophie: She's very mean.
KJ: But Batwoman is cool.
Sophie: She's very cool.
KJ: She could kick Nina's butt.
Sophie: Yes she could.
KJ: Could she kick uncle Oliver's butt?

(Mark starts laughing even more as Jacob walks up to them and takes her from him as Mark falls over laughing then he calms down enough and calls Kate. Who

answers on the first ring he's still laughing as she answers.)

Kate: What's up?
Mark: Your daughter just asked if Batwoman could kick Oliver's Butt.

(Kate's trying to keep from laughing on the other end.)

Kate: I'm sure she could.
Mark: Oh Kate come on you know she could.
Kate: Oh i know.

(They start laughing then calm down as he hangs up with her and turns to look at Sophie whose still laughing at what she had asked.)

Mark: Oh.

(After talking a little bit more with Sophie including spending sometime with her grandfather who was still laughing at what KJ had asked. Over the next several weeks

both Kate and Reagan continue to co-parent KJ whose not ever really to happy to go and spend time with Due to Sophie but has come to terms with them being back

together and does do her best to get a long with Sophie while Kate's around and even when she's not with them spending so much time together KJ does start

showing that she can actually like or even trust Sophie which is a big relief to Kate who can't help but feel grateful that her girlfriend and little girl are getting along

for the most part everything was going just fine with Sophie and KJ until she heard what she said to Reagan not knowing Sophie was kidding with Reagan got mad at

her and ran off.)

Sophie: She's spending so much time with KJ i never get to see her anymore.

(Reagan seeing the look on her face starts laughing then calms down.)

Reagan: Oh yeah losing out on all of that sex must be very hard.
Sophie: You have no idea.

(They start laughing then calm and quickly turn to see KJ run off towards her room.)

Sophie: Oh shit.
Reagan: I'll go and talk to her. KJ!

(As she goes after KJ Kate and Ares walk up into the loft and see where Reagan's headed.)

Kate: Am i missing something?
Sophie: I made a joke to Reagan and KJ over heard it.
Kate: What you say?
Sophie: I said jokingly might i add that i was a little jealous of all the time you were spending with KJ and well.
Ares: Reagan knew you were kidding right?
Sophie: She did. She even laughed and then made her own joke about the lack of sex me and Kate are having.

(Kate looks at her and then looks off trying to keep from blushing.)

Ares: Hey she does blush.

(She elbows Ares in the stomach getting Sophie to laugh at her.)

Ares: I asked for that.
Sophie: You did.

(She looks at her and laughs. As they all continued to spend time together they talk and joke around as their talking KJ comes back out of her room and runs over to

Kate who picks her up and holds her as she's holding her KJ jokingly sticks her tongue out at Sophie who laughs at them. With KJ back on talking terms with her

Sophie got her in the sides getting her to lean into Kate who laughs at her. As time goes on with Kate and Sophie still being together including both Ares and Reagan

KJ's found herself being very happy for both of her parents that they have the women they love back with them. Even if at first she wasn't to thrilled with Sophie. But

that was unfortunately about to come to an end while the Crows were chasing a suspect as their chasing them he sees a little girl and shoves her into the street seeing

who it was Sophie acted quickly along with Ares and ran off towards them as she got to KJ Sophie picked her up and went to run out of the street only to have a car

come in and hit her sending her over the hood of it and landing on the ground with KJ in her arms.)

Mark: No. Sophie!

(He rushed off towards the street and started firing at the car that had hit her as it was getting away he managed to shoot out it's back window as it got away he ran

over to his friend/boss.)

Mark: Sophie!

(She lies there motionless and looks around for anyone and sees Ares as she reaches them and feels for pulse.)

Ares: She's breathing but it's very faint.
Mark: Shit.

(He grabs out his phone and calls for the paramedics as Jacob and Tyler rush up to them.)

Mark: Yeah i need a paramedic we've got an agent down.

(He tells them who he is and where they are and tells them who downed the victim is. Then they hear crying coming out from under Sophie and Ares looks down at her.)

Ares: KJ!

(She looks at her and sticks her hand out from under Sophie.)

KJ: Ares!

Ares: You're gonna have to stay there for now honey.

(She nods her head at her as they wait for the paramedics and Mark looks at Tyler who can tell he wants to kill the person who did this.)

An hour later.

(Over at the hospital Kate runs into the hospital and over to them quickly followed by Reagan who walks up to Ares.)

Kate: What happened?
Mark: We were chasing a suspect and in order to try and get us off of him. He a little girl on the sidewalk and shoved her into the street.

(Kate looks at him and then looks off.)

Mark: And Sophie acted quickly and ran into the street to grab her but by the time she had gotten to her it was too late a car had come flying up to her and before she

could make a run back towards the side walk to put the child down the car hit her and Sophie hit she had rolled onto the hood and then she had rolled onto the

ground and that's where she lied until me and Ares could get to her.

(She looks at him and then looks off not sure of what to say.)

Mary: Kate that's not the only thing.
Kate: What?
Mark: KJ was the child Sophie saved.

(Kate looks at him and then to Reagan who looks off pissed.)

Kate: Where is she?
Mark: Robin's got her in one of the rooms. Kate she's fine. Just some minor cuts and bruises.
Kate: Oh god. Sophie! Mark!

(He grabs her into a hug getting her to smile at him.)

Mark: We'll find who did this and we'll make them pay Kate.
Kate: I know.

(He kisses his friends head then pulls away from it as he continues to hold her. Then the doctor walks out and Mark walks over to him.)

Mark: I'll be back okay.
Kate: Okay.

(He walks away from Kate and over to him.)

Mark: Patrick!
Patrick: I'm sorry Mark it's not good.
Mark: What?
Patrick: She's too unstable we can't take her up to the OR.
Mark: How long would you have to wait?
Patrick: At least three to four hours. And she unfortunately doesn't have that.
Mark: Oh shit.
Patrick: I mean we can do everything we can to make her as comfortable as we can. But unless she stablelizes we can't do anything.

(He looks over at Kate whose sitting down next to her sister and her girlfriend then he looks at Jacob.)

Mark: So we could lose Sophie?
Patrick: I'm afraid so. So.
Mark: Shit.
Nurse: Dr. Drake.
Patrick: Yeah.
Nurse: She's asking for Kate Kane.
Patrick: Okay.
Mark: I'll go get her.

(He nods his head at him as he walks off to go and talk to Kate as he gets there he kneels down in front of her.)

Mark: Kate!

(She looks at him and can see the look on his face.)

Kate: What's wrong?
Mark: Um they say Sophie isn't stable enough to take her up to OR and due to her injuries.
Mary: Mark!
Mark: He doesn't believe she'll make it through the night.
Kate: Oh god.
Mark: But the nurse did say she was asking for you.

(She gets up and rushes off towards the room Sophie's in as she walks off Mark looks at Reagan and Ares who look off not sure of what to say to them. Then he walks

over to them.)

Mark: We lose her.
Ares: We won't rest until we find out who did it.
Mark: Got that right.

(She smiles at him as he walks off. Then they hear Kate yell out and Mark rushes off towards the room Sophie's in as he gets there he sees her trying to get Sophie to

wake up and seeing the look on his friends face rushes over to her and grabs her away from her.)

Mark: Kate! Kate! Hey hey. I'm sorry.

(She looks at him and then hugs him as they put the sheet over her head as he's holding her he looks at Ares and Reagan who put their heads down along with Jacob.

Over the next two to three months leading up to a year the Crows along with the heroes and Santino do everything they can to try and find the person who was

involved in the hit and run that killed one of the Crows own. As their investigation continued into who killed Sophie Kate kept her distance until KJ wanted to see her

so Reagan took her to go and see her as they got to her loft KJ sees her sitting there with her head down and walked to her.)

KJ: Momma!

(Kate looks at her and smiles as she walks over to her and she picks her up to hold her.)

KJ: You okay?
Kate: Yeah baby girl I'm fine. I miss Sophie is all.
KJ: I know. I do too.

(She hugs her getting Kate to smile at her and she looks over at Reagan who feels bad for her. As for Reagan and Ares shortly after losing Sophie her and Are s broke

up soon after breaking up Kate and Reagan both agreed that Ares could still spend time with KJ when she wanted and she told them she'd be happy to spend more

time with her. With both Reagan and Ares being broken up KJ was a little disappointed that they had broken up but she understood and was glad that she was still

going to be able to spend time with Ares. Although Ares is still alive and she's able to see her but she's not able to see Sophie anymore and she's still upset by that.

All of this is leading up to the day when they finally figured out who was involved in the hit and run that killed Sophie when they got into Port Charles, NY Mark walked

up the police station along with Tyler. As far as Mark and Tyler go after losing Sophie they both grew closer to each other and both quickly realized how they both felt

for the other and have been together ever since. As they walked into the station Mark saw Chase who walked over to them.)

Mark: Where is he?
Chase: Down in our lock up.

(They walk off with him down towards their holding cells as they get down there Mark sees who it is and looks at Chase.)

Chase: He clams it wasn't him who was driving but your friend Luke said he saw him in the driver seat the day of the Hit and Run.
Mark: Nikolas know?
Chase: Yeah and he's not to happy with him.
Mark: I'm not to happy with him. Spencer get up.

(He looks at him and walks over to him as Chase opens the cell door and Mark quickly grabs him out and puts him in handcuff's once he's cuffed he turns around.)

Mark: I hope you and your little girlfriend are proud of yourselves.

(He looks at him and can tell Mark's pissed at him.)

Spencer: Mark I'm sorry.
Mark: Sorry isn't gonna bring back my friend. And it sure as hell isn't gonna make Kate feel any better for you nearly killing her daughter.

(He pushes him towards the exit as Mark follows him along with Tyler as they get up into the police station Spencer sees his father and Ava and gets annoyed.)

Spencer: You're the reason why i did what i did.
Ava: Why the hell are you blaming me for this.
Spencer: Because of you Valentine shot my father in the back and you couldn't of cared less.
Nikolas: So as pay back to her you ran into a Crows agent killing her and nearly killing a child in her arms?

(He looks at him and then to Mark who looks like he wants to kill him.)

Spencer: If you had only stuck to the plan.
Nikolas: The hell with the plan Spencer you were involved in a hit and run. And then for over a year you remained here acting as of what you did didn't mean anything to you.
Spencer: I. This is her fault. If you hadn't of.
Nikolas: If i hadn't of what? Fallen in love with her? Is that what you were going to say?
Spencer: Yes.
Mark: We lost an agent all because you're pissed off at your father for falling in love with Ava?

(He looks at him and knows he screwed up.)

Mark: Because of you our agency lost one hell of an agent i hope you're really proud of yourself. Rogers Andres get this little prick out of my sight before i deck him.

(They walk over to him and walk out of the station with him. As they walk out Mark walks around them along with Tyler.)

Ava: Mark!

(He turns and looks at her.)

Ava: I know we haven't always been on the best of terms but.
Mark: What?
Ava: I really am sorry for your loss. I know it doesn't mean anything but.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: It means more then you know.

(Then he walks out of the station as Nikolas looks at her.)

Ava: Hey.
Nikolas: I just can't believe he would do something like that and not care that he killed someone.
Ava: I hear ya.

(He smiles at her. Meanwhile back in Gotham Kate's sitting up in her loft thinking as KJ walks over to her and sits with her as she's sitting with her Reagan walks in

and sees her with KJ and smiles at them as she's looking at them she can't help but feel even worse for Kate due to her losing Sophie and knowing that her parents

didn't care enough to show up for her funeral which was okay with Kate and everyone else. As for Kate and Reagan even though their growing closer to each other

again. Reagan knows Kate's not ready to move on yet or if she'll ever be ready to move on and if being friends with her is all Reagan gets right now she's okay with it

including Kate.

Chapter Text

Two years later.

(It's been Two years since Kate and the Crows lost Sophie all thanks to Spencer Cassadine shortly after arresting and sending both him and his girlfriend to prison for

the murder of Sophie Moore her sister was quick to arrive in Gotham and blame Spencer as well for her sister's death and if it hadn't of been for Kate and Reagan

being at Crows Head Quarters at the time she would of killed him.)

Jordan: No Kate let me go. Thanks to him and his bitch of a girlfriend my sister is dead.
Kate: Jordan killing him won't bring Sophie back doesn't matter how much we want her back.

(She looks at her and then looks off.)

Jordan: You better get sent to prison for what you did to my sister. Because of you i lost the only person i could talk to.
Spencer: I.
Jordan: You know. I always heard that the Cassadine's only cared about one thing and one thing only.
Spencer: And that is.
Jordan: You only care about yourselves. You don't care who you hurt as long as you get what you want.

(He looks at her and then looks off.)

Spencer: I.
Jordan: Because of you Cassadine i lost my sister and you couldn't care less. As long as you got your point across to your step mother and your father.
Spencer: If he.
Jordan: The hell with yours and his plan. You killed my sister all because he had the nerve to fall in love with Ava. I'm just trying to figure out whose worse.
Spencer: What?
Jordan: You or Franco Baldwin.

(Kate looks at her along with Reagan and then they look off.)

Mark: Okay Jordan. Kate!

(She nods her head at him as they walk off with Jordan with them. As they walk off she flips Spencer and his girlfriend the finger. Then out of nowhere a little girl runs

up to him and kicks him getting him scream out in pain.)

Spencer: Ow.
KJ: You big jerk. You killed my friend.

(She starts beating on him as Sarah rushes in and grabs her.)

KJ: No. Let me go.
Sarah: KJ come on honey this little jerk isn't worth it.
KJ: He killed my friend.
Sarah: I know honey. Come on baby girl.

(She looks at her and buries her head into her shoulder.)

Sarah: I hope you two are happy with what you've done.

(They look at her.)

Esme: Well.
Josslyn: Bitch don't even.

(She looks at her and quickly backs off.)

Josslyn: I'm sorry Kate i didn't see KJ here.
Kate: It's okay. KJ!

(She looks at her mother and puts her arms out for her and Kate takes her from Sarah who hands her over and she hugs her.)

KJ: I miss her momma.
Kate: I know you do baby girl so do we.

(She kisses her daughters head.)

Kate: I hope you two get life for this.

(She walks off with her crying daughter in her arms. As they walk off Sarah stands there looking at them annoyed.)

Rachael: Sarah! come on Boss.

(She looks at her and they walk off as they walk off Spencer looks off annoyed with himself. After their trial both Spencer and Esme were both sentence to two to thirty

years in prison without the possibly of parole after the trial everyone went to Charlie's Pub which was recently bought and it's named changed to Lenny's after Sonny

bought it from Olivia and named it after the man who helped him get back onto his feet after he arrived in Nixon falls. All of this is leading up another year. Over in

Port Charles Mark walks into the bar and looks around it.)

Mark: Wow.

(Sonny looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: This is so cool.
Sonny: Thank you. How's Kate doing?

(He looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: It's been two years since we lost Sophie and i have a feeling Kate's going to be feeling Sophie's loss for the rest of her life.
Sonny: And KJ?
Mark: Still angry at Spencer and his girlfriend for her death.
Sonny: I can understand that.
Mark: How are things with you and Carly?

(He looks at him and laughs.)

Sonny: Their getting better. I mean i can understand why they did what they did but.
Mark: They thought you were dead.
Sonny: I know. And i can't really be mad at them. Now the person i can be mad at is the person who kept the fact that i'm alive away from my family.
Mark: Yeah. And she deserves it.
Sonny: I know she does. But she doesn't see it that way. And neither does Jax.
Mark: Jax is also an idiot.

(He looks at him and laughs.)

Sonny: That he is.

(They start laughing as Kate and Reagan walk into the building as they walk Mark notices them and walks over to them.)

Mark: Hey.
Kate: Hey.
Mark: You are right?

(She laughs at him.)

Kate: Does the pain of losing someone ever go away?
Mark: I wish i could say that it does. I look at Sonny and Carly and i can tell their still feeling Morgan's death and it's been five years since he was killed.

(She nods her head at him.)

Mark: I wish i could say that you'll wake up tomorrow no longer missing Sophie.
Kate: Nope i still miss her.
Mark: We all do Kate. And i could really ring Spencer's neck for killing her.
Kate: Yeah so could i.

(He hugs her getting her to smile at him then he pulls away from her as they walk over to the counter and get drinks as their getting them Mark says something that

gets them to laugh then his phone goes off he grabs it out to see who it is seeing the number he gets annoyed and mutes it as he goes back to his conversation with

Kate Reagan and Sonny. Over the next couple of weeks since Spencer and his girlfriend were sent to prison for Sophie's murder Mark's tried to help Reagan get Kate

out of her feeling guilty way of thinking but haven't had any luck as they continued to try and do so Mark finally did something he didn't think he'd ever do and calls

the one person who they both know can help Kate out. After calling her she showed up in Gotham and went straight to Kane Tower as of knowing where Kate would

be she went down to the Bat Cave and saw her beating on the punching bag that Luke had put in after the whole thing with his father as she got down there she

walked up to the punching bag and held it as Kate punched it as she continues to beat on it she continues to hold it until Kate finally sees her and laughs.)

Kate: You are the last person i expected Mark to call.
Ares: Why?

(She laughs at her.)

Kate: I honestly don't know anymore.
Ares: Kate i was there when Sophie was hit by the same car. And as a former assassin i didn't think losing Sophie would hurt as much as it does.

(She looks at her and laughs.)

Kate: Another words.
Ares: I feel just as guilty over not being able to get to her and KJ.

(Kate looks at her and smiles.)

Kate: I just can't stop myself from feeling guilty for what happened to Sophie.
Ares: Kate we all know what Sophie meant to you and losing her the way we all did doesn't make it any better. But you can't really blame yourself for this forever.
Kate: Yeah i know that. It's just i had been wanting to be with Sophie again since i came back to Gotham and when i finally had it again i lost her and for good this time.
Ares: I know. In a lot of ways. I keep asking myself why i hadn't acted faster and reached KJ before Sophie had.

(Kate looks at her and laughs.)

Kate: Because Reagan would be in the same position I'm in.
Ares: Yeah well. It's not me she's in love with. I mean at one point she was. But you're who she wants to be with.
Kate: So why hasn't she said anything?
Ares: Trying to give you space. And be there for you as best as she can without getting her feelings involved.

(Kate looks off and laughs off the shock.)

Kate: I've been grieving over losing Sophie for so long i hadn't noticed.
Ares: It happens. And like i said Reagan hasn't been wanting to rush you. Although sometimes she wishes she could just snap you out of it but won't.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Kate: I just miss her so much.
Ares: I know. We all do. I might not of known her as long as you guys have. But she was really good with KJ.
Kate: She was. Even if KJ wasn't to thrilled with her when we first got back together.
Ares: Yeah it seems after you two got back together.
Kate: Sophie changed a lot she wasn't jealous of Reagan hell when you two got together it was almost like nothing had happened.

(Ares smiles at her.)

Kate: I just don't know what to do. I know Sophie's gone but i feel like if i move on with my life i feel like i'll be cheating on her.
Ares: Wow.
Kate: Yes. At one point i was that in love with Sophie. In a lot of ways i still am and there's nothing i can do to bring her back.
Ares: I hear ya.

(She laughs at her.)

Ares: I'm not saying you have to get over Sophie I'm not. Because getting over someone is never easy mainly when that person died saving your little girl.
Kate: Yeah. I'm always going to be grateful to Sophie for that.
Ares: So will Reagan.

(She smiles at her as they continue to talk and joke around Kate finally sees what both Mark and Reagan see in Ares friend and girlfriend wise shortly after talking with

Ares and finally understanding why Reagan hasn't said anything to her she rushed to her place to go and talk to her as she got there she knocked on the door and

waited for her to answer the door as she's waiting her phone goes off she grabs it out to see who it is seeing the number getting just as annoyed Mark does she

mutes it and puts the phone away as Reagan opens the door and looks at her.)

Reagan: Kate!
Kate: Hi.
Reagan: Hi. What's up?
Kate: I was talking to Ares and she got me thinking.
Reagan: About?
Kate: I know i haven't really been fair to you since Sophie died. Two almost three years ago. But she's right.
Reagan: About what?
Kate: Reagan you've been there a lot for me and.
Reagan: Kate!
Kate: What I'm trying to say is. Thank you.

(Reagan looks at her and smiles.)

Reagan: You're welcome.
Kate: And i was wondering if you'd like to go with me sometime.

(She looks at her and laughs as she looks at Mark who had shown up just before Kate arrived.)

Mark: I'd say yes. It's one time offer.

(Kate looks at him and laughs.)

Reagan: Yeah sure I'd love too.
Kate: You doing anything right now?
Reagan: No. Well I'm with KJ.
Mark: Go. I'll watch KJ and sext Tyler.

(Ryan puts her head back as they start laughing.)

Ryan: I do it one time and I'll never live it down.

(Kate looks at him confused.)

Mark: It's a long story which i will tell later.
Kate: Okay.
Ryan: Man. You told your friend in Tucson didn't you?
Mark: I have no idea what she's talking about.

(Reagan looks at him and laughs.)

KJ: What's going on?
Mark: Your momma just asked your mommy out and she's still here.

(She laughs at him as she grabs her coat and leaves the apartment.)

Reagan: Okay okay I'm going.
Ryan: It's about time.
Reagan: Wilder shut up.

(Mark and Ryan start laughing.)

Mark: Yeah but isn't Wilder-Kane now.

(Ryan starts laughing.)

Kate: It is. She's as whipped as Tyler.
Mark: Hey.

(They leave the apartment and leave as Mark looks down at KJ whose laughing.)

Mark: Oh you find this funny?
KJ: Yes.
Mark: Yes.
KJ: Yes.

(He grabs her up and starts picking at her getting her to laugh at him as he continues to pick at KJ she's trying to get out of his arms as he gets to Ryan he puts her

down onto the couch and she quickly hides in Ryan's side getting her to laugh.)

KJ: He's mean Aunt Ryan.
Ryan: I know.
Mark: Hey.

(He gets Ryan in her sides getting her to lean forward getting him to laugh at her. Then he does it again she tries to get away from him but he keeps at until Mary

comes back with Luke seeing what's going on they start laughing at Ryan whose trying to get away from him then he stops as he goes after KJ again as he gets to her

he starts in on her getting her to laugh at him. Over the next couple of month both Kate and Reagan continue to go out on a dates which leaves both Mark and Tyler

to babysit KJ and sometimes Oliver when he's in Gotham as they continue to go out on dates they start growing closer to each other and the closer they get the

happier KJ gets that her parents are spending more time together and everything was going just fine until they ran into someone they all thought was dead.)

Kate: Sophie!

(Then person wearing the mask takes it off and starts laughing at her seeing who it was that made the joke she quickly charges him sending him over as they both go over she starts beating on his face as she's

beating on it Ares sees it and rushes over to them as she gets there she grabs her off of him and keeps a hold of her.)

Ares: Hey hey. Kate come on.
Kate: Did you find that funny?

(He stands up and looks at her.)

Man: Kind of.
Kate: You son of a bitch.

(She goes to go after him again but Oliver arrives and keeps a hold of her as she continues to try and get to him.)

Oliver: Kate!

(She stops what she's doing and looks at him.)

Reagan: I think it's about time to go.

(He looks at her and laughs he goes to do it again but Ares grabs him and grabs the mask out of his hand and knees him in the stomach getting him to double over in pain.)

Ares: That prank wasn't funny. It was far from it.

(He looks at her as she throws him down and then walks back over to Kate.)

Oliver: Come on.

(They start back towards Kate's place and help her get over her shock of having someone shoving her dead ex girlfriend into her face and isn't to happy with it.)

Minutes later.

(Over at Kate's loft they walk into the loft and Mark looks over to see who it is seeing Kate and Reagan coming back from their date early.)

Mark: What's going on?
Oliver: Some prick walked up to Kate and Reagan wearing a mask.
Mark: Okay. Well we're close to Halloween.
Oliver: It was a mask made to look like Sophie.

(Mark looks at him and then to Kate.)

Mark: Kate!

(She looks at him and she quickly hugs him getting him to look at both Reagan and Oliver who look off annoyed then she pulls away from him and walks over to the couch and sits down once she's seated he looks

at them.)

Mark: Who the hell was it?
Reagan: No idea. He was just some little prick who thought he'd be funny and torment Kate by putting on a mask that looks like Sophie.
Mark: You still got it?

(Ares hands it to him and he looks at it as he's looking at it he turns and looks at Kate whose got her head down he looks at them and then walks over to her. As he gets to her he kneels down in front of her.)

Kate: Just when I think I'm doing better some asshole does this to me.
Mark: I know I'm sorry Kate. Maybe we can get a DNA match off of this mask.
Reagan: If it would help Kate out.
Mark: I doubt it would help Kate out any.
Reagan: I didn't think so.
Mark: We're gonna figure this out.
Reagan: I sure as hell hope not. Because we all love Kate Mark we don't want to see her like this.
Mark: No we don't.
Kate: Where's KJ?
KJ: Mommy!

(She looks over at her and smiles as she runs over to her as she gets to her Kate picks her up and hugs her as she's hugging her KJ knowing something's wrong keeps ahold of Kate who turns and looks at Reagan

who smiles at her then she pulls away from her.)

KJ: You okay mommy?
Kate: Yeah baby girl I'm fine. So what you gonna be for Halloween?

(KJ looks at her and smiles as Kate puts her down and she runs off towards her room.)

Reagan: I wasn't going to tell her not to run.
Kate: It's okay. Seeing her makes me almost a lot better.
Reagan: We can tell. The minute she called you.
Mark: Your face lit up like a Christmas tree.

(They start laughing at her face.)

Kate: Yeah. Other then Sophie or well Reagan. That little girl makes me the happiest woman. I just don't get it.

(Mark laughs at her as he walks over to her and she hugs him again then he pulls away from her.)

Mark: I think it's in a child that's KJ's age to make their parent smile. Doesn't matter what they do. But she can read you and Reagan like a damn book. It's almost scary.
Oliver: She can even read you.
Mark: No. Not true.
Oliver: She knows about you and Tyler and you're still denying it.
Mark: Of course i am.
Kate: Why?
Mark: Because we broke up.

(She looks at him and then looks off.)

Kate: Oh.
Mark: Yeah.
Kate: Why?
Mark: I mean don't get me wrong. I like him and he's a great but.
Kate: But what?
Mark: Kate he's still in love with Sophie and it doesn't matter how hard I try he's never going to see me the same way he still sees her.
Kate: Even if she's dead?
Mark: Even if she's dead.
Kate: Well that sucks.
Mark: I see you and then I look at Reagan I can see you wanting to move on. But then you've got some jackass who puts this on to make you feel like crap for trying to move on with your life.
Kate: Yeah. I just don't know what to do Mark.
Mark: Ignore the person the next time you see them.
Kate: And if I can't.
Mark: Threaten to send Batwoman after them.

(She laughs at him as KJ comes back into the room and over to them.)

Kate: What's that?
KJ: My costume for Halloween Mommy.

(Kate kneels down next to her.)

Kate: Okay. What is it?

(She pulls it out of the bag and shows her which gets Mark to look off trying to keep from laughing.)

Mark: That's nice.
Kate: Ghostface really?
KJ: Yeah. I ran into aunt Mary and asked her what I should be.
Mark: And she said Ghostface?
KJ: Yeah.
Mark: Well shit.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Mark: You know.
KJ: What?

(He walks over to her and takes the costume from her and looks at it.)

Mark: I didn't know they made this in extra small.
KJ: Hey.

(He looks at her and laughs as she goes after him getting him to fall over as she gets him knocked over she starts pretending to beat on him which gets Kate laughing at her then she stops as she turns and looks

at Kate.)

KJ: What?
Kate: Your cute is what.
KJ: I know.

(She pushes Mark getting him to laugh at her as he sits up and then stands up laughing.)

Reagan: You just couldn't resist could you?
Mark: Of course not. KJ loves Kate and knowing she's upset hurts her so.
Reagan: You're one hell of a friend.
Mark: I try to be.

(She smiles at him as she hugs him then pulls away from him as he picks KJ up and puts her over his shoulder and runs off with her getting them to laugh at him as he gets down into the bar he starts running

around it as he's running around the bar Kate and the other's walk down and see what he's doing which is making KJ laugh.)

Reagan: You realize he's trying to make you feel better.
Kate: I'm aware of that. And I couldn't more grateful to him.
Reagan: You look it.

(She laughs at her as Mark gets back to them and shows KJ to her parents who can tell she's still laughing at him then he runs off with her again as he runs off with her he sees someone walk into the bar and

quickly stops when he sees who it is and puts KJ down.)

Mark: Lucas!
Lucas: Hey.
Mark: Hey. What you doing here?
Lucas: Well as you know I've been all over the world the last two years and well.
Mark: What?
Lucas: I'm actually gonna head back to Port Charles.
Mark: Oh yeah.
Lucas: Yeah. I just thought I'd swing by here and check up on everyone here.
Mark: We've been better. Right?
KJ: Yeah.
Mark: Lucas this is KJ.
Lucas: Oh wow. She's gotten big.
Mark: Yeah. KJ this is a friend of mine. This is Lucas Jones.

(Lucas looks at him and smiles. Then he looks down at KJ.)

Lucas: It's nice too meet you.
KJ: You too.

(She runs off and over to Kate and Reagan who leans over to pick her up.)

Lucas: She doesn't like new people much does she?
Mark: No. But she'll one day get use to you. It took her forever to use to Sophie.
Lucas: Yeah I heard. I'm sorry.
Mark: Thanks. Some jerk off tried to make Kate think that she's alive. While she was out on a date with Reagan.
Lucas: Oh gees.
Mark: Yeah. You'd think it would be funny. Given what time of year it is.
Lucas: Yeah. How's Wiley doing?
Mark: He's good. He's grown a lot.
Lucas: Yeah.
Mark: Yeah.
Lucas: Well that's great to hear. How's Michael and Willow doing?
Mark: Their great. Their actually expecting their first child together.
Lucas: Oh noway.
Mark: Yeah.
Lucas: That's great to hear.
Mark: It is.
Lucas: Anyway. I know I'm going to ask about someone else but.
Mark: Brad is well Brad.

(He looks at him and starts laughing as he hugs him then pulls away from him.)

Lucas: Well that's great to hear.
Mark: It is.
Lucas: Anyway. I just wanted to come by and see how everyone is doing.
Mark: We're good. Until she walked in.

(He turns to see who it is as she walks in Kate walks forward and looks at her.)

Kate: What the hell do you want?
Nina: I just came to see how you're doing?
Kate: We're doing fine. Now get out before Sonny finds his home wrecking girlfriend in jail for harassment.
Nina: Kate!
Kate: It's thanks to your boyfriend's nephew my girlfriend was killed and might i add because of you Sonny's family went without him for close to a year.
Nina: I. I'm done explaining myself to everyone about why I did that.
Kate: Why because Carly and your former boy toy kept the fact that Nelle was your daughter away from you?
Nina: Yes.
Kate: And just whose side did you listen to more.
Nina: What?
Kate: Did you only listen to Jax's side of the truth and ignore Carly's. Are you that hateful to Carly that you won't even listen to her side of things.

(Nina looks at her not sure of what to say to her.)

Mark: That's a first.
Kate: What?
Mark: Nina Reeves speechless.
Nina: I.
Mark: You kept a man away from his family for close to a year all because you wouldn't listen to Carly's side of things. You took Jax at his ward and didn't even bother to talk to Carly about that night. So if you ask me Sonny's family has every right to remain pissed off at you.
Kate: Get out of my bar and If I ever see you again. I'll make you regret it.
Nina: That a threat?
Kate: As a matter of a fact it is. Now get the hell out of my bar. And I don't care if you tell Sonny. That jackass doesn't scare me. He never has and he never will.

(Nina looks at her and then turns to leave as she walks out of the building Mark walks over to her and she hugs him again then they pull away from each other as they pull away from each other KJ walks over to her

and Kate picks her up.)

Kate: Hey.
KJ: Hi. You okay?
Kate: I will be.
KJ: Okay. Lucas!
Lucas: Yeah.
KJ: Would you like to see my Halloween costume?
Lucas: I'd love too.

(They walk off back towards the loft as they get to the stairs they walk up and head up as they get to the loft KJ runs over to her costume and grabs it up once she has it she runs back over to them and shows him

the costume. He looks down at her then kneels down to see what she wants to be for Halloween.)

Lucas: Ghostface huh?
KJ: Yeah. I wanna be someone who doesn't scare people.

(Lucas looks at her and smiles as he looks up at Mark who looks off.)

Lucas: Well I think he'd be very grateful that you wanna be him for Halloween.
KJ: It was either Ghostface or I be Sophie for Halloween.

(They all look at her.)

Kate: You wanted to be Sophie for Halloween?
KJ: Yeah.
Kate: Well then why did you change your mind?
KJ: I saw Ghostface.
Kate: You can be Ghostface anytime. He doesn't have that big of an ego.

(KJ laughs at her she looks up at Mark.)

KJ: I got a small suit.
Kate: Can you go and try it on.
KJ: Yeah.

(She runs off as Kate looks at everyone.)

Mark: Who else was with Mary and KJ while they were out looking for Costume's?
Reagan: I don't know. All I know is that she came home and said she didn't know what she wanted to be for Halloween anymore.

(Mark looks at her and then looks off annoyed.)

Mark: Crap.

(Then KJ comes back with her costume and shows Kate who looks at it and smiles at it.)

KJ: See Mommy.
Kate: I see that.
KJ: I rather be aunt Sophie for Halloween.
Kate: I think she'd really like that.
KJ: Yeah.
Kate: Yeah.

(She quickly hugs Kate who smiles at them. Then she pulls away from her.)

KJ: I miss her too Mommy.
Kate: I know you do. I do too.
KJ: Okay. I can go try it on.
Kate: Okay.

(She runs off again as they laugh at her.)

Kate: God that little girl you guys.
Reagan: We know.

(Kate looks at her and smiles as she hugs her then pulls away from.)

Two weeks later.

(Over at Kane tower Kate's in her office finishing up some last minute things before she heads home to go and be with KJ and Reagan while she finishes getting ready to go out and trick or treating with Mary and

Ryan. As she's finishing up her paper work Reagan walks in and knocks on the door getting her to look up at her as she looks up she smiles at her.)

Kate: Hey.
Reagan: Hey.
Kate: What's up?
Reagan: I was just coming to see if you were done yet. KJ wants to go to dinner before she goes out trick or treating.
Kate: I'm almost done.
Reagan: Okay. What you doing anyway?
Kate: Last minute detail's on a building i just purchased.
Reagan: Gonna turn it into another set of condo's?
Kate: No. I was talking to Ryan and she's been talking about opening an actual clinic for Mary.
Reagan: Instead of having it in the basement of the university.
Kate: Kind of.
Reagan: Well that's sweet of her.
Kate: It is and I think it's a great idea.
Reagan: It is. She have a name for it?
Kate: Yeah.
Reagan: What?

(Kate looks at her and then looks off.)

Kate: She wants to call it the Sophie Moore Memorial clinic.

(Reagan looks at her and smiles.)

Reagan: Well that's great.
Kate: It is. Even after close to three years. Reagan hearing her name still gets me.
Reagan: I know it does. I know Sophie's death still effects KJ.
Kate: It does. God Reagan our little girl is going through hell all because someone killed Sophie and nearly got away with it.
Reagan: I know. But I think Sophie would be proud of the little girl KJ's turning into.
Kate: I know she would be.
Reagan: Can I ask you something?
Kate: Yeah.
Reagan: Are me and you ever going to make what's been going on between us official again?

(Kate looks at her and smiles as she stands up and walks over to her.)

Kate: Yeah we will be official again.
Reagan: When?
Kate: How about now.

(She kisses her getting Reagan to smile in it as their kissing they both walk back towards the couch and fall back onto it as they land on the couch Kate smiles in it as their kissing continues Reagan deepens it.)

An hour later.

(They both walk into the diner down the street from Kate's office as they walk in they walk over to their friends and family as they get there KJ looks at her parents and smiles at them as of she knows what

happened between them seeing the little girl smiling Mark and Luke are trying to keep from laughing and they notice.)

Kate: What?
Mark: Oh nothing.
Kate: No. You two are laughing why.
Mark: Your buttons are wrong.

(She looks down and then looks at him as she excuses herself to go the bathroom as they start laughing.)

Reagan: Are right you guys.
Mark: We're sorry.
Luke: Yeah we're sorry.
Ryan: No you two aren't.
Mark: Hey.

(They start laughing again as Kate comes back from the bathroom and sits down next to her girlfriend and daughter as their sitting there talking and eating KJ continues to tell them about how Mark has been

spending a lot of time with Lucas getting them all look at him he looks off trying to keep from laughing.)

Kate: Due tell.
Mark: There's nothing to tell. We're just friends.
Luke: And how many friends have you seen shirtless.
Mark: Do you count?

(Luke looks at him and then looks off as they start laughing again.)

Mark: Hey Reagan did we ever tell you the story about how Luke walked in on Kate changing.

(Luke looks at him and then looks off.)

Mark: Or was it Ryan.
Mary: I think it was Sophie.

(They start laughing at his face.)

Luke: Are right are right.

(They continue to laugh at him then calm down as KJ continues to tell them about Mark and Lucas and the more she tells them about them the more Kate and Reagan wanna pick at him until he turns red but decide

against it. As their spending time together they go back and forth talking and picking on the other. As their joking around Lucas walks into the diner and Mark sees him.)

Mark: Hey Lucas.

(He nods his head at him as he walks over to him and sits down next to them as he sits down KJ tells him what Mark said and he laughs at her.)

Mark: You're not very good at keeping secrets are you?
KJ: No.
Mark: No.
KJ: No.
Mark: Oh well then. I guess I shouldn't tell her Kate's secret.

(Kate looks at him as Luke and Mary start laughing then calm down.)

KJ: You've got a secret Mommy?
Kate: Thanks for that.
Mark: You're welcome.

(They continue to laugh then calm down. As Mark notices someone and gets Lucas's attention he looks over at them and stands up.)

Kate: What what's wrong?
Mark: Morgan!

Year later.

In Gotham.

At Mark's penthouse.

(He's sitting down thinking about things as someone walks off of the elevator and over to him.)

Reagan: Hey.

(Mark looks over at her and laughs.)

Mark: Hey. What's up?
Reagan: I brought this up to Kate and i was hoping you could also help me out with it.
Mark: What's that?
Reagan: I mean i still need to talk Sara and Laurel about this.
Mark: About what?
Reagan: I wanna ask Quentin to be my adopted father.

(Mark looks at her and smiles at her.)

Mark: Wow.
Reagan: Yeah.
Mark: Honestly i think he'd be honored.
Reagan: You think so.
Mark: Yeah. I mean he are ready loves you like a daughter.
Reagan: True. So i had these drawn up.

(She hands him the adoption papers and he looks at them as he's reading them he smiles at her.)

Mark: This is great Reagan. You know he won't say no.
Reagan: I know he won't. But.
Mark: Oh come on. We both know that Laurel and Sara love you like a damn sister.
Reagan: Yeah i know that. Still doesn't stop me from becoming scared.
Mark: I know.
Reagan: Anyway.

(Mark laughs at her.)

Mark: You worried about them?
Reagan: How do you and Kate do that?
Mark: Do what?
Reagan: Know when I'm worried about those bastards.

(Mark looks at her and then stands up to walk over to her as he gets to her she quickly hugs him getting him to smile at her. Then she pulls away from him.)

Mark: Call it bestfriend and girlfriend's gut feeling.
Reagan: Okay. You two are the greatest.
Mark: We try to be.
Reagan: Yeah I know that.
Mark: Look Reagan if they try and stop this.
Reagan: Okay.
Mark: I know one hell of a Defense attorney.

(Reagan laughs at him.)

Reagan: Mickey Haller!
Mark: The very same.
Reagan: Okay.
Mark: And I'm sure Maggie would just love to put your bitch of a mother in her place.

(He puts his fists up as of he's in a fighting position which makes Reagan laugh at him.)

Reagan: I swear you and Kate can both make me laugh.
Mark: Must be our pretty looks.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Mark: Well to be fair. We do try.
Reagan: Well thank you.
Mark: You're welcome.

(Then he looks over her shoulder at who had just walked off of the elevator and his face lights up.)

Mark: Hey babe.
Raven: Hey.

(Reagan turns to look at her and she waves at her.)

Reagan: Maggie's sister really?
Mark: Yes.
Reagan: Damn Mark.
Mark: Not my fault the McPherson sisters are drop dead gorgeous.

(Raven looks at him and smiles.)

Raven: Well thank you.

(Mark walks over to her as he gets to her she kisses him as their kissing he smiles in it then she pulls away from him.)

Mark: Hi.
Raven: Hi.
Mark: Other then well.
Raven: I got a call from Maggie.
Mark: Okay. How she doing?
Raven: She's okay. She loves San Diego but.
Mark: What?
Raven: She's regreting not staying with Mickey.

(Mark looks at her and then looks off as his phone goes off.)

Mark: Excuse me.
Raven: Okay.

(She smiles at him as he smiles back at her and answers his phone.)

Mark: Hello!
Maggie: Hi.
Mark: Maggie!
Maggie: Yeah.

(Raven looks at him as he kisses her head then pulls away from it.)

Mark: How you been?
Maggie: Uh good.
Mark: Say that one more time and I just might believe you.

(She laughs on the other end.)

Maggie: Uh. I miss Mickey Mark.
Mark: Well you're the bone head who went to San Diego.
Maggie: I know that. Anyway.
Mark: What?
Maggie: I just got in a new case.
Mark: Okay.
Maggie: It involves Angelo Soto.

(Mark looks at Raven who looks at him confused.)

Mark: Mag's weren't you told to drop that case?
Maggie: I was. Until his file landed onto my desk. This morning.
Mark: So what's that jackass have to do with it now?
Maggie: Well apparently he had more than just himself with the human trafficking.
Mark: He was working with someone else?

(Maggie opens the file and looks through it.)

Maggie: By the looks of it. Only thing is i couldn't even tell you who he was working with.
Mark: Well i know this is going to be way out there but.
Maggie: Yeah i was thinking about talking to him about this. But Mark i need cop and a team i can trust.
Mark: I can talk to Kate.
Maggie: Yeah that'll work.
Mark: And don't forget Mag's you still have Mickey's team.
Maggie: I know.
Mark: I'll talk to Reagan and we'll go talk to Kate.
Maggie: Okay. I'm gonna head down to Los Angeles and talk to Mickey.
Mark: Okay. We get the approval from Kate we'll be on the next flight out to you guys.
Maggie: Okay and tell my sister i said hi.
Mark: I will.
Maggie: Okay. Bye.
Mark: Bye.

(He hangs up with her.)

Mark: Maggie says hi.

(Raven laughs at him.)

Raven: Okay. What she want?
Mark: Reagan!
Reagan: Yeah.
Mark: Maggie just had a case landed on her desk this morning.
Reagan: Okay.
Mark: She wants help.

(Reagan looks at him and then walks over to him.)

Reagan: What's the case?
Mark: It involves Angelo Soto.

(Reagan looks at him.)

Raven: Babe. I thought she was told to drop that case?
Mark: She was until it landed on desk this morning.
Reagan: Why?
Mark: She seems to believe he was working someone.
Reagan: She know who?
Mark: No. I brought up Mickey.
Reagan: She's gonna need help.
Mark: Yeah she said she needs a cop and team she can trust.
Reagan: Okay. I'll go talk to Kate. Maybe she's willing to help her out.
Mark: Okay. You get the okay from Kate we can all fly out to LA and help her out.
Reagan: Okay.

(She walks off to go and talk to Kate.)

Raven: You sure about this?
Mark: I am. Why you worried?
Raven: Mark her having to give up that case before nearly broke her. Mainly knowing that the Detective she was working with is the same jackass who chased away Mickey's star witness.
Mark: I know.
Raven: I just.
Mark: We're gonn get him this time.
Raven: I sure as hell hope so.
Mark: Okay.
Raven: But in the meantime.

(She pulls his shirt open and pushes it off of him once it's off she throws it to the floor as it hits the floor he kisses her as their kissing they both walk off towards the stairs. As they get up to his room they both walk in and close the door once it's closed they walk off towards the bed as they get there they both fall onto it shirtless as they land on it Raven smiles in it then he pulls away from her.)

Mark: You're so beautiful.
Raven: Thank you.
Mark: You're welcome.

(Raven looks at him and smiles as he kisses her again as their kissing he deepens it sending them into a love making session.)

Later that day.

In Los Angeles.

Over at Mickey's house.

(Maggie pulls up to the house and stops the car once it's stopped she puts it into park once it's in park she shuts it off once it's off she grabs her keys and gets out of the car and shuts it off once it's off she gets out and closes the door as she closes the door she walks up to the house as she gets there she knocks on the door. Then she waits for him to answer.)

Inside of the house.

(Mickey gets up and walks over to the door as he gets there he opens it to find the last person he didn't think he'd ever see again.)

Mickey: Maggie!
Maggie: Hi.
Mickey: Hi.
Maggie: Mind if i come in?
Mickey: No.

(He moves out of her way and let's her inside of the house. Once she's in he closes the door behind her.)

Mickey: What's going on? Because i have a feeling this isn't a social call.
Maggie: That's because it isn't. Mickey i need your help.

(Mickey looks at her confused.)

Mickey: With what?
Maggie: I got handed a case this morning.
Mickey: Okay.
Maggie: It was Angelo Soto's file.

(Mickey looks at her as she hands him the file and he looks at it.)

Mickey: I thought.
Maggie: I was. But there have been things added to this file.

(He looks through it and finds what he's looking for.)

Mickey: Do they know who was helping him?
Maggie: No. That's what i need help with.

(Mickey looks at her and smiles at her.)

Mickey: Okay.
Maggie: What you're not gonna ask for a catch?
Mickey: I can if you'd like?
Maggie: No.

(Maggie looks at him and smiles.)

Mickey: I miss you.

(Maggie looks at him and smiles.)

Maggie: I miss you too.
Mickey: But i can understand why you said what you did.
Maggie: I love you Mickey.
Mickey: I love you too.

(She kisses him as their kissing he smiles at her then he pulls away from her.)

Mickey: I thought?
Maggie: Can we talk about this later?
Mickey: Yeah.

(He grabs her hand and they both walk off towards the bedroom as they get there he closes the door and walks up to her as he gets to her he leans in and kisses her neck getting her to lean into his kiss then he pulls away from her.)

Mickey: I love you.
Maggie: I love you too.

(He leans in and kisses her neck again getting her to close her eyes in enjoyment. As his kiss on it continues he opens her belt and pulls her shirt up and slides his hands up her shirt getting her to smile at him then he pulls away from her as she turns around and looks at him as he smiles at her.)

Mickey: We can do this slow.
Maggie: No.

(She kisses him again as their kissing they both walk back towards the bed as they get there they both fall back onto it as they land onto his bed he pulls away from her.)

Mickey: You're so beautiful.
Maggie: Thank you.
Mickey: You're welcome.

(He leans into her.)

Maggie: I love you.
Mickey: I love you too.

(He leans in and kisses her again as their kissing she deepens it. Sending them into a love making session.)

The following morning.

Over at Mickey's law firm.

(Everyone is there working on who it was that was working that was working with Angelo Soto as their working on it. Kate's phone goes off she grabs it out to see who it is. Seeing who it is she answers it.)

Kate: Hey Luke what you got?
Luke: I have been going over the security camera footage from Soto's house.
Kate: Okay. What you got?
Luke: I've got the people who were working with Angelo Soto.

(Kate gets Maggie's attention.)

Maggie: What's up?
Kate: He knows who was working with Soto.
Maggie: Who?
Kate: Luke who was it?

(He zooms it in on who it was that was working for Soto. And he nearly falls over.)

Kate: Luke!

(He gets back up and looks at them again.)

Luke: Kate is Reagan with you?
Kate: Yes why?
Luke: Because i know who worked with Soto.
Kate: Who the hell was it?
Luke: It was her parents.

Luke: It was her parents.

(Kate turns and looks at Reagan whose giving her a confused look.)

Kate: Are you sure?
Luke: I'm very sure.

(She puts her head down annoyed. She walks out of the conference room which sends Mark after her.)

Sara: was anyone else as confused by that?
Reagan: A little.

Out in the main office.

(Kate's still on the phone with Luke as Mark reaches her she hangs up with him then turns and looks at Mark.)

Mark: What's going on?
Kate: Luke had been looking into some of Angelo Soto's contacts.
Mark: Okay.
Kate: You'll never believe who two of his contacts were.
Mark: Who?
Kate: Reagan's parents.

(Mark looks at her and laughs off the shock.)

Mark: Well i can't really I'm surprised by this.
Kate: I can't say that i am either.
Mark: Maggie's gonna love this.
Kate: Yeah.

(They both walk back into conferences room.)

Maggie: Everything okay?
Mark: Can i see Soto's file?
Maggie: Yeah.

(She hands it to him and Mark looks through it.)

Cisco: What you looking for?
Mark: For the names of Reagan's parents.
Maggie: What?
Mark: Oh shit did i let that slip.

(Kate's trying to keep from laughing.)

Mark: Reagan's parents were the ones working with Soto.

(Maggie looks at him and then looks off annoyed.)

Lorna: Maggie!
Maggie: I had a list of names i wanted Langford to run and talk to them.
Mark: Okay.
Maggie: And the only names on that list that weren't crossed off were a Leigh and Daniel Henry.

(Mark puts his head down annoyed.)

Maggie: He told me that he couldn't find them.

(They all look at her annoyed.)

Mark: Which means the son of a bitch lied to you.
Maggie: Yeah. Makes me wonder what the fuck else he was lying to me about.
Mark: I don't know. But we're all gonna help you figure it out.

(Maggie looks at them smiling.)

Maggie: Thank you.
Mark: You're welcome. Babe you wanna go see if we can locate Lee Langford?
Raven: Yeah.

(She walks over to him and she pats her sisters shoulder.)

Raven: We've got your back Mag's.
Maggie: I know thank you.
Raven: You bet. Love ya.
Maggie: Love ya too.

(She kisses her sisters head then pulls away from it as she walks off with Mark to go and help Mark locate Lee Langford.)

Maggie: Mickey!
Mickey: We'll finally get him.
Maggie: I know we will. My only fear is that.
Mickey: What?
Maggie: Langford is just going to give them the run around.
Mickey: Is that what he was doing with you?
Maggie: Yes it was. Especially after the whole thing with Soto's case before.
Kate: There anyway we can get the original case file?

(Maggie looks at her and then looks off.)

Maggie: I can try and get the original file. But i can are ready tell you it's not gonna be easy.
Reagan: Cardone!
Maggie: Yeah once he closed the case. He took off with the file.

(They all look at her.)

Reagan: How would we even get into the Hall of Justice with her no longer working there.

(Mickey looks at her as Maggie pulls her phone out and calls the one person she knows will do it without asking any questions. As she's waiting for her to answer Mickey's looking at his phone as Lorna walks over to him.)

Lorna: You are right?
Mickey: Yeah. I'm just happy to be working with Maggie is all.
Lorna: Looks like it too.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Maggie: Yeah hey Andy i need a favor.
Andrea: Name it.
Maggie: It's a big ask.
Andrea: Anything you Mag's is a big ask.
Maggie: I know. But this favor could cost you your job if Cardone gets wind of it.
Andera: Okay.
Maggie: I need Soto's original case file.

(Andrea looks around and laughs off the shock.)

Andrea: Shit Mag's that is a big ask.
Maggie: I know it is.
Andrea: But yeah. I'll see what i can do.
Maggie: Wait really?
Andrea: Yeah. Just don't throw me under the bus if i get caught.

Andrea: Okay.

(They say their goodbyes and then hang up.)

Mickey: Well?
Maggie: Andrea's gonna try and get her hands onto Soto's original case file for me.

(He looks at her and nods his head at her.)

Lorna: Wouldn't that cost Andrea her job if Cardone finds out about it.
Maggie: It would. And she knows the risks.

(Lorna nods her head at her. Not really liking this plan.)

Kate: We're getting the feeling you don't really like this plan?

(Lorna looks at her and laughs.)

Lorna: I don't. But if she's willing to risk it all in order to finally nail Soto then so fucken be it.

(Maggie looks at her and can see the hatered she has for Maggie for what she did to Mickey.)

Maggie: Lorna can i talk to you?
Lorna: You gonna hit me?
Maggie: Do i look like my sister.

(She laughs at her as they both walk off towards Mickey's office as they get there Maggie closes the door behind them and then walks over to the conference room door and closes it then she turns and looks at Lorna.)

Maggie: Okay. Let me have it.

(Lorna looks at her confused.)

Maggie: Tell me why you're so pissed at me.
Lorna: What makes you think I'm pissed at you?
Maggie: How about the dirty looks I've been getting from you. Since I walked into the office with my sister and everyone else.

(Lorna looks at her and laughs off the shock that she saw that.)

Lorna: I didn't know you had seen that.
Maggie: Kind of hard to miss.
Lorna: Maggie you didn't see him after you left. He was miserable he tried to hide it. But both me and Hayley could see it. Even Izzie could see it. I know Cisco and Mark saw it they just tried to let him have his space while he tried to clear her name.

(Maggie looks at her and laughs.)

Maggie: You can't even say her name can you?
Lorna: Of course not. I never liked her and thought Mickey was making a big mistake by taking on her case.
Maggie: But you were okay with him taking on Trevor Elliott's case.
Lorna: He was different.
Maggie: How?
Lorna: He wasn't sleeping with Mickey.

(Maggie nods her head at her.)

(Maggie laughs at her.)

(Maggie looks at her and winces when she says that.)

Lorna: We all saw it. I'm pretty sure everyone in San Diego saw it.
Maggie: I barely talk to anyone in San Diego.

(Lorna laughs at her.)

Lorna: I'm just trying to figure out when the hell you and Mickey are going to stop this going back and forth thing that you two are doing and realize how much you two still love each other.

(Maggie looks at her and then looks off.)

Lorna: Maggie i made him happy i did. I could see it. And Lisa made him happy for the short time they were together.

Lorna: But he didn't light up nearly as much as he does when you walk into the room.

Lorna: If you two are gong to get together. Stick the fuck with it. Or just stop trying. Because from where I'm standing it's not just you two you guys are hurting. Hayley might in high school. But can you two not seriously see the pain you two are putting her through when you do it.

(Maggie looks at her and then looks off.)

(Maggie looks at her again.)

(Maggie stands there not sure of what to say to her as she walks around to go and look out of the window as she gets there she stands there she looks out. Then she turns and looks at her as she sits on the little desk behind her.)

Maggie: I know i haven't been fair to him. I know i haven't. I just. There isn't one thing i could say that won't sound like an excuse becuase i know that's what it's going to be. It's going to be an excuse.

Maggie: When i got that call from Mark about Mickey being shot my Roulett's mother and then the accident with surfing. And then the drugs.

Maggie: So many things happen that i just can't help myself when it comes around him.

Maggie: When i found out about him getting beaten up because of Lisa Trammel i knew i wanted to try again and stay with him again.
Lorna: What happened?
Maggie: I didn't want him to be someone he wasn't. I didn't want him to change. But i also knew he didn't want to be something he wasn't. I'm not gonna be that woman who tells the man she wants to be with to change it's not fair to me and sure as hell isn't fair to him. He's always going to get himself into messes that we won't all be there to safe him from. I couldn't live with that.

(Lorna looks at her and then looks off.)

Maggie: I look at my sister and see how happy she is with Mark and then i think to myself why the fuck can't i have that. I mean i know i could have it with Mickey i know that. But with us.
Lorna: What?
Maggie: It's lovely it is. But then it isn't. We both start to realize it's not meant to be.
Lorna: Shit.
Maggie: I know me always coming back into his life isn't fair to him. I just.

Maggie: I can tell.
Lorna: I'm just trying to figure out if you're only using this case as way to get close to him again only to break his heart again.

(Maggie looks at her and then looks off.)

Lorna: So what the hell is seriously stopping you two from finally actully getting together. And don't use the Lisa Trammel excuse.

(Maggie looks at her and laughs.)

Maggie: The Lisa Trammel excuse really?
Lorna: Shut up that's the only thing i could think of.
Maggie: I bet.

(Lorna throws one of the pillows that was on Mickey's couch at her getting her to laugh at her.)

Lorna: Now i can see what Mickey sees in you.
Maggie: I'm sorry.
Lorna: It's fine.
Maggie: Anyway.
Lorna: I just don't want either of you to get hurt again.

(Maggie nods her head at her.)

(Maggie laughs at her as they both walk out of the office laughing.)

Maggie: We good?
Lorna: Yeah. Just don't make me have to get your sister to kick your ass.
Maggie: My sister would enjoy it. But then again.

Maggie: So would her boyfriend.

(They start laughing then calm down as Maggie's phone goes off. She grabs it out to see who it is.)

Mickey: Mag's?

(Maggie looks at him and smiles as she walks over to him.)

Maggie: Yeah.
Mickey: Who was that? Secret new boyfriend?

(Maggie looks at him and laughs.)

Maggie: Now if i told you. It wouldn't much of a secret.

(Mickey looks at her and laughs.)

Mickey: So who was it?
Maggie: Andrea!

(They all look at her.)

Mickey: What she say?
Maggie: That she has the file and that she wants to meet.

(Mickey looks at her as she shows him her phone. As he's looking at it he calls Reagan over to them and he shows her the phone. Once she has it she looks at it and then looks at Maggie.)

Maggie: What?
Reagan: I can't be sure. But I'm pretty sure she's telling up that.
Kate: Reagan!
Reagan: She was caught.

(Maggie looks off not sure of what to say or do.)

Maggie: Fuck.

(Reagan then looks at the pictures that were sent to her from Andrea as she's looking at them she can see something that could easily send Mickey into protective ex husband mode.)

Sara: Reagan!

(She looks at her.)

Reagan: Guys we've got a problem?

(They all look at her.)

Mickey: What?
Reagan: I'm looking at these pictures that Andrea sent Maggie and well.
Kate: Babe what is it?
Reagan: The original file on Soto the paperwork in it.
Lorna: Reagan please just spit it the fuck out?

(Reagan looks at her and can tell their all starting to get annoyed with her.)

Reagan: Maggie the original paperwork doesn't have my parents listed as Soto's contacts.
Maggie: What?
Cisco: Who does it have on there?
Reagan: Whoever it is their doing one hell of a job at setting this person up.
Mickey: Reagan!

(She looks at him and then hands him the phone he looks at the picture and sees a name he didn't think he'd ever see on the paperwork and knows damn well this person would never work with someone as such as Angelo Soto.)

(Maggie looks at him and takes the phone from him to see it. As she's looking at her name she looks at her friends and then looks off annoyed.)

Maggie: This can't be true. I swear. I wasn't working with him.
Mickey: Hey hey i believe you we all do. I know you wouldn't work with Soto. I do.
Lorna: So do i.

(Maggie looks at them and smiles.)

Mickey: I could even be your lawyer.

(Maggie and Lorna look at him and then to each other.)

Maggie: Mickey!
Mickey: What?
Maggie: Do you not remember the Lisa Trammel trial?
Mickey: Yes i do.
Maggie: And.
Mickey: It wouldn't be a conflict of interest.
Lorna: Yes it would be.
Mickey: No it wouldn't.
Lorna: Mickey you slept with her.
Mickey: Before all of this happened.
Lorna: And you're still in love with her.

(Mickey looks at them and then looks off. As Maggie's phone goes off she walks over to it to see who it is. Seeing the number she smiles at it and answers it.)

Maggie: Hey.
Raven: Hey. Me and Mark just got to the police station.
Maggie: You two find Langford?

(Raven looks into the office and sees him there.)

Raven: Oh we found him.
Maggie: And?
Raven: Mag's he's dead.

(Maggie looks off annoyed.)

Maggie: Fuck.
Raven: We're on the way back.
Maggie: Okay.
Raven: You okay?

(Maggie looks off annoyed.)

Raven: What's wrong?
Maggie: Raven I'm being set up.

Raven: We're on the way back to Mickey's office.

(Then they hang up as Maggie throws her phone down onto the desk getting Mickey and Lorna to look at her.)

(She looks up at them.)

Maggie: That was Raven.
Mickey: Did they find Langford?
Maggie: Oh they found him.
Lorna: Well?
Maggie: He's dead.

(They both look off not sure of what to say or do. Mickey walks over to her and she hugs him getting him to smile at her.)

Mickey: I'm so sorry Mag's.
Maggie: Yeah i have a feeling I'm gonna need a lawyer.
Lorna: Why's that?

(Maggie pulls away from Mickey.)

Maggie: Because i have a feeling whose setting me to make it seem like i was working with Soto.
Lorna: They'll frame you for murder.
Maggie: Yeah.
Lorna: Well that's just great.
Maggie: Yeah.
Mickey: If that's the case.
Maggie: No.
Mickey: I wasn't going to suggest me.

(Maggie looks at him and laughs.)

Maggie: Oh.
Mickey: I mean you and Lorna pretty much put big ass no on that one.

(They both look at him and then look off.)

Mickey: And don't even say it's a conflict of interest.

(Maggie looks at him and laughs.)

Maggie: Okay I'm sorry.

Minutes later.

(Mark and Raven walk back into Mickey's office and Raven quickly walks over to her sister and she hugs her getting her to smile at her.)

Mark: What's going on?
Reagan: Other then Maggie being set up to take the fall for crimes my parents are committing.
Mark: Yeah.
Reagan: Nothing much.
Mark: She knows we'll clear her name.
Reagan: She knows that. And now that Langford's dead. It's only a matter of time until she gets framed for that as well.

(Mark nods his head at her.)

Lorna: Mark!

Lorna: Do you know any great lawyers?

(Mark looks at her and then to Maggie.)

Mark: What about Mickey?
Lorna: Seriously.
Mark: He's one of the best out there Lorna.
Lorna: Conflict of interest.
Mark: What would make it conflict of interest?
Lorna: They slept together.
Mark: So. Are they officially back together?
Maggie: No.
Mark: So why is it such a problem for Mickey to be your lawyer?

(Maggie looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: Can you two keep your feelings for each other out of the courtroom?
Mickey/Maggie: Yes.
Mark: Can you two separate client and lawyer out of your personal life?

(They both nod their heads at him.)

Mark: Can Mickey keep it in his pants while he repents her?

(Mickey looks at him as they start laughing at his face.)

Maggie: Oh boy.
Kate: But isn't it still a conflict of interest?
Mark: It is. But then again the only other lawyer i know is in London on her honeymoon.

(Kate nods her head at him.)

Mark: Besides i know about one lawyer who was always breaking the conflict of interest rule.

(They look at him and nod their heads at him.)

Lorna: So what?
Mark: What is your problem?

(Lorna looks at him and then looks off.)

Mark: Never mind. Look we don't even know if the police are even going to charge you with Langford's murder.

Raven: Well to be honest.

Raven: The only person who gets say in who her lawyer is. Is Maggie not Mickey's second ex wife. Whose supposed to be happily remarried.

(Lorna looks at her and then looks off as Mark looks at his girlfriend and then to his friends.)

Mark: Anyway. There is something we can do though.
Mickey: And what's that?
Mark: We can always get a jump start on things.
Raven: How?
Mark: We can always run down the list of people that were on his contact list. Because i can honestly tell you that Maggie's name wasn't on the original copy.

(They all nod their heads at him.)

Maggie: No it wasn't.
Lorna: How do we get out hands onto the contact list?
Mark: Well we tried Andrea Freeman.
Maggie: But she was caught.
Mark: Yeah.

(Raven stands there and looks at them.)

Maggie: What?
Raven: How would she of been caught?
Maggie: What?
Raven: I mean i know how. But depending on when she went to grab the file.
Maggie: You know she's right.
Mark: About what?
Maggie: After we either throw a case or we wrap up a case.
Mickey: You lock them up in a filing cabinet.
Maggie: Yes.
Mark: And where would these filing cabinets be?
Maggie: We've got a filing room just down the hallway from my old office.

(Mark looks at her and then looks at Reagan.)

Mark: Are their security camera's in the filing room?
Maggie: No.

(Mark nods his head at her as he grabs out his phone and calls someone who quickly answers.)

Mark: Yeah John i got a job for you.
John: Name it?
Mark: There anyway you can sneek into the filing room in the Hall of Justice.

(He looks around not sure of how to answer that.)

Mark: I know it's a hard to thing to ask.
John: Yeah. It is. How would i get into the room without being noticed?

(Mark looks at Maggie.)

Mark: Mag's.
Maggie: Yeah.
Mark: When do the cleaning crew go through the office's?

(She looks at him and then to Mickey.)

Maggie: At around six why?
Mark: John. I think i found your way in.
John: How?
Mark: Maggie says the cleaning crews start cleaning up around six.
John: Okay. I still a need away in Mark. I don't work for the Hall of Justice.
Mark: Dude come on it's not that hard to get in. Maggie shut up.

(She looks at him and laughs.)

Maggie: Let me see that.

(Mark hands her the phone.)

Maggie: John it's Maggie.
John: Hey.
Maggie: Hey. Uh yeah i know of away to get you in before anyone catches wind of you being in the building.
John: Okay.
Maggie: We have security who do hourly checks. We can slip you in before their rounds end.
John: Okay. And what floor did you work on?
Maggie: Tenth floor.
John: Okay. And what am i looking for?
Maggie: A file on Angelo Soto.

(He nods his head as he writes it down and Maggie looks at Mark who looks at Raven whose trying to keep from laughing.)

John: Am i taking the whole file?
Maggie: No. Just copy the contact list and just to be on the safe side.
John: Delete it right.

John: Where's this taking us?
Mark: To the tenth floor.

Minutes later.

(The elevator reaches the tenth floor and the doors open. Once their open they walk off and head for their file room.)

John: Where's the file room?
Mark: Just past Maggie's old office.

(They keep an eye out for anyone as they reach the file room Mark and Raven lean on either side of the door.)

John: You got a key to get in?

(Mark pushes the lever down and the door opens.)

Mark: Golantz unlocked it before he left for the night. He gave me the to lock it back up before we leave.

(Mark and Raven are still standing outside of the room as Mark's phone goes off. He grabs it out to see who it is and answers it.)

Mickey: Mark Maggie just got a call from Golantz.
Mark: Cardone's coming back isn't he?
Mickey: Yeah. According to him he's not that far from the Hall of justice.

(They all rush from the office and head towards the elevator to see it open and they all quickly duck out of their sights once their out of their sights they move slowly towards the elevator as they get there Mark

holds it as both Raven and John run on along with him as they walk on she pushes for the parking garage. Then Mark realizes something.)

Raven: What?
Mark: John tell me you locked the file room?
John: Yeah. I locked it from the inside.

(Mark looks at him and then to Raven and looks off.)

Mark: It doesn't lock from the inside.

(He takes the paper from him and looks at it seeing the name he quickly throws the paper down and rushes from the room pissed as hell at seeing the name.)

Mickey: Because the name on this list is someone he knows very well and he's pissed at the fact that their throwing Maggie under the fucken bus.

In Sacramento.

At the CBI office.

(Mark walks off of the elevator and walks into their bullpen and finds the man he was looking for. Seeing him he smiles at him and walks over to him.)

(He goes to run only to run into someone else.)

(He continues to try and get away only to have Mark grab him and throws him onto one of the desk and puts a gun to his head getting him to look at him.)

Mark: If it hadn't of been for who?
Patrick: Okay seriously i could tell you. But then they'd kill me.
Mark: I'm gonna kill you if you don't start talking.
Patrick: Why? It's not like Maggie sees you that way.

(He looks at him and then over to Raven whose looking at him.)

Mark: Tell me he didn't cover Erica's name and put in Maggie's name?

(Mark looks at him annoyed as his phone goes off he grabs it out to see who it is seeing the number he answers it.)

Sobel: Hey.
Mark: Hey. What's going on?
Sobel: Mark a body just washed up on the beach.
Mark: What?
Sobel: Yeah. And you'll never believe who it is.

(Mark looks off annoyed and then looks at the two people next to him.)

Mark: You've got to be kidding me.
Sobel: I wish i was.

(Mark walks off to go and talk to her in private.)

Mark: Could this murder land onto Maggie?
Sobel: I couldn't tell you. But i have a feeling this one and Langford's murders could be placed onto Maggie.
Mark: Fuck.
Sobel: We'll figure this out Mark.
Mark: I know we will.
Sobel: Okay. I'll call with any updates.

(Then he hangs up with her and then looks around the room annoyed.)

Mark: This case is getting harder and harder to keep Maggie out of prison.

Mark: Because that Detective Sobel.

Mark: Erica Flynn's body just washed up on the Los Angeles beach.

Teresa: We never caught the killer.

Back In Los Angeles.

At Mickey's law firm.

(Mickey looks at him and laughs off the annoyance as Reagan gets up to go and call her mother and Quentin to see if they'll come and help them clear Maggie's name if it comes down to them pressing charges against her for murders she even committed.)

Mark: Yeah.
Lorna: This murder Is'nt gonna be put onto Maggie is it?
Mark: Sobel can't be sure. But the one murder she is sure of is Langford's.

Mark: No. So which means it's starting to get to that point to where our favorite Deputy district attorney is gonna need a lawyer.

Mark: Well let's just say Kara was only talking about how many tattoos your girlfriend had one time. And the first thing out of her. Was and those are just the ones you can see.

At the hotel Mark's staying at.

In his and Raven's room.

(Their both still asleep as Mark's phone goes off waking them both up as he wakes up he looks at the time and gets annoyed but answers the phone.)

Mark: Yeah.
Sobel: Hey sorry to bother you.
Mark: No it's fine. What's up?
Sobel: Anyway you can come down to the police station.
Mark: Why What's up?
Sobel: We have an iwitness to Erica Flynn's murder.

(Mark puts his head down then says he'll be right there. Then he hangs up with her and looks back at Raven whose lying there on her back and Mark lies back and rests his head onto her stomach getting her to smile ag him.)

Raven: Who was it?
Mark: Sobal!
Raven: What she want?
Mark: For me to go down to the station.
Raven: Why?
Adam: She said they have an iwitness to the murder of Erica Flynn.
Raven: Seriously.
Mark: Yeah. So I'm gonna go down there and talk to her.
Raven: Okay.

(He sits up and goes to start getting dressed.)

Minutes later.

(Mark's dressed and walks out towards the bed to get his shocks and shoes on. Once their on and tied up he turns and looks at Raven whose smiling at him he gets onto the bed and kisses her as their kissing she smiles in it then pulls away from her.)

Raven: Hi. You okay?

(He pulls the blankets down and looks down at her torso.)

(She laughs at him.)

Raven: Okay.

(He kisses her again then pulls away from her as he leans in and kisses acouple of places on her chest getting her to lean into him then he pulls away from it and kisses her again. Then he pulls away from her.)

Raven: I love you.
Mark: I love you too.

(She kisses him again then pulls away from him as he gets up to go and get his shirt once he has one he puts it on then turns to look at her as he's buttoning it.)

Raven: Babe I'm surprised you still have a lot of the button downs with the way. I'm always pulling them open.
Mark: I know right.

(He laughs at her as he tucks it in then walks over to her and sits down next to.)

Raven: Hey.
Mark: Yeah.
Raven: We're gonna clear Maggie's name.
Mark: I know we will.
Raven: Okay.
Mark: Okay.

(She kisses him again as their kissing she slides her hand into his shirt getting him to smile in it then he pulls away from her.)

Mark: You're bad.
Raven: I know. But i also know you have to go.
Mark: I do actually.

(He kisses her again then pulls away from her as he stands up to walk over to the dresser and grabs up his wallet and keys. Then he turns and looks at her.)

Mark: I'll talk to you later.
Raven: Okay. Stay safe honey.
Mark: I will.

(He walks back over to her and kisses her then pulls away from her.)

(He stands back up and walks out of the room as Raven smiles to herself.)

An hour later.

Over at the police prescient.

(Mark walks up to the building and walks in as he walks in he sees Griggs who walks over to him.)

(He turns and looks at him.)

Griggs: I take it Sobel called and told you about the witness?
Mark: She did. Who is it?
Griggs: You're not gonna like it.

(He has him follow him to an interrogation room.)

Griggs: I gotta tell you when someone walked in with this little girl claming she witnessed the murder i wasn't sure of what to say.
Mark: Did this witness point the finger at Maggie?
Griggs: No. In fact they brought up another name you actually might know.

Griggs: Your girlfriend's.

Griggs: By the looks of it.

(When they reach the room Mark sees who it is and rushes from the viewing and into the interrogation room.)

(One of the Detectives is talking with the little girl whose not really answering their questions and looks up when the door opens seeing who had rushed in she runs over to him.)

KJ: Uncle Mark.

(He leans over and picks her up.)

KJ: No. These mean people are trying to get me say the person who killed that lady was Aunt Raven.

(Mark looks at them and grows annoyed with them.)

Mark: You two were seriously talking to her without her parents present?

Griggs: She's not the witness.

(She brings up his contacts and finds Kate's number once she finds it she calls it as Mark walks over to the witness and punches him sending him over.)

(He looks up at him as Mark kicks him in the ribs getting him to turn over in pain he goes to do it again. But Mickey shows up with Cisco who lightly pushes him back and then he looks down at the man on the ground.)

Cisco: Whose this smuck?
Mark: Patrick Jane he works for CBI.

(Cisco looks at him and then down at him.)

(She looks over at her as she jumps off of the chair and runs over to Kate who quickly picks her up to hold her. Once she has her Reagan walks in followed by the other's.)

KJ: Momma.

(Reagan kisses her head then pulls away from it as she looks over at Jane and walks over to him as she gets to him she punches him sending him over again as he hits the ground he turns and looks at her.)

Reagan: Are you fucken kidding me. You're trying to cover your own ass as far as Erica Flynn went. You're now trying to get mine and my girlfriend's daughter involved in your stupid little mind games?

(He stands up and looks at her.)

Reagan: You ever come near mine and my girlfriend's little girl again. You're gonna wish you hadn't.

(She backs up as Mark grabs her arm and they walk away from him once their far enough away from him Mark looks at her.)

(They start laughing as Mark's phone goes off he grabs it out to see who it is seeing the number he mutes it and then walks off with his friends.)

(Everyone is there working on trying to clear Maggie's name as Mark's phones goes off again he picks it up to see who it is seeing the number again he mutes and then shuts it off hoping they don't call anyone else

Mark: There isn't and Sobel said it's only a matter of time until the police have something they can use to arrest you for Langford's murder.
Maggie: I didn't do it.

(Mark looks at her and feels bad for her.)

Mark: We're gonna clear your name one way or the other. What time is it anyway?
Moira: It's time for dinner.

(They all look up at the three people there with food.)

(Maggie looks at her sister trying to keep from laughing.)

(Maggie starts laughing then calms down as Quentin puts the food down.)

Mark: Oh I know this. So we've been here all day trying to figure out why they chose Maggie to target instead of someone else.

(Mark looks at her and then he looks at Mickey who look at her and it hits him.)

(He quickly gets up to walk off into his office to grab something from his desk.)

(Once he finds what he's looking for he walks back into the conference room and hands Maggie the file she grabs it from him and looks it over.)

Mickey: Believe or not me and Andrea have gotten closer since you moved to San Diego.

(Maggie looks at him and smiles as he laughs at her.)

(She looks at him and laughs as she continues to look through the file and comes up to something.)

Maggie: It's just something i wrote in this file while i was working with Langford on this case.

(Mickey sees what she was writing and he looks at her.)

Maggie: I was starting to wonder if i should trust him or not.
Mark: Was he giving off some major red flags?
Maggie: In more ways than one. And it all started when he realized that Mickey's my ex.

(Mark looks at her along with Raven who looks off annoyed.)

Mickey: Now that i think about it.
Maggie: What?
Mickey: The night i went to the bar to celebrate Jerry's life with some of the other guys.
Maggie: Okay.
Mickey: Langford approached me.

Mickey: What did she ever see in me?
Mark: Yeah well. Whatever it is. It was really none of his business.
Mickey: Oh I'm aware. I even answered him.

(Maggie looks at him and then to Lorna who looks off not sure of what to say or do at the moment.)

Maggie: Mark's right it was none of his business.
Mickey: I know that. After that i never really thought about it again.

(She smiles at him as Mark looks at Reagan who he can tell is still thinking about what Jane had done to KJ.)

Mark: Uh.
Mickey: What?
Mark: I didn't mention this earlier and i really should of.
Lorna: What?
Mark: Shit.
Maggie: Mark!
Mark: Fingers aren't only being pointed at you Maggie.
Maggie: What?
Lorna: Who else are they being pointed at?
Mark: Raven!

(Raven looks at him and then looks off trying to keep from laughing.)

Raven: Well that's just fucken great.
Lorna: So there are now going to be two sisters on trial for murders they didn't even do.
Mark: I'm' hoping it doesn't get that far.
Lorna: Mark it's are ready gotten pretty far if fingers are now being pointed at Maggie's sister for a murder of a woman that jilted Patrick Jane.
Mark: I know that. But if it comes down to it. I know someone who can come and help Raven out.

(Raven looks at him and then looks off.)

Lorna: Who?
Mark: Sidney Prescott!

(They all look at him and laugh.)

Izzie: I didn't know she was a lawyer?
Mark: She is actually. And I'm sure if i called her she'd be more than willing to help.

(Maggie looks at him and laughs.)

Maggie: Why couldn't you of brought up Sidney before?
Mark: I did. But she's on her honeymoon.

(Maggie laughs at him as he ducks out of the way of the pen that was thrown at him.)

Izzie: See he's my boss and I'm staying out of it.

(Then the office phone rings. Mark looks over at it then walks over to it to answer it.)

Mark: Haller and Associates.
Sobel: Mark!
Mark: Yeah. What's up?

(She looks down at the paper work in front of her and knows Mark isn't gonna like it.)

Mark: Sobel what's going on?
Sobel: Mark we just got the finger prints back on the gun that was used on Langford.
Mark: Okay. What's that have to do with anything?
Sobel: Mark their Maggie's finger prints. So I'm on the way down there now to get her.
Mark: Sobel come on. You know Maggie didn't do this.
Sobel: Mark it's not a matter of weather i know she did it not. Evidence it being pointed at her.

(He puts his head down annoyed.)

Mark: Why you telling me this?
Sobel: Because it's warning to making sure she's still there when i get there.
Mark: Where she gonna go? You know as well as anyone else she's gonna fucken fight this.
Sobel: I know that. I just hope she's got one hell of a lawyer.

(Mark puts the phone down annoyed.)

Mark: Fuck.

(Hearing what was just said Raven walks out of the conference room and over to him.)

Raven: Babe.
Mark: I'm really getting sick of this.
Raven: What's going on?
Mark: That was Sobel.

(Raven looks at him.)

Raven: And?
Mark: They have the finger prints off of the gun that killed Langford.
Raven: Okay.
Mark: She said they came back as match to Maggie.

(Raven looks at him and laughs off the annoyance.)

Raven: Mark my sister isn't a fucken killer.
Mark: I know that. Babe believe me i do know that.
Raven: Can we at least get her out of here before the police arrive?
Mark: No. We don't want to give the prosecutor anymore ammo then they are ready have.
Raven: What person in the hall of justice is gonna wanna take on Maggie's case. Their all her friends.

(He grabs her into a hug getting her to lose it knowing that the hell her sister is going through all because of whoever it is that's setting her up. Then he pulls away from her as she kisses him then he pulls away

from her.)

Mark: We're gonna clear her name.

Raven: Yeah.

(Raven smiles at him as she kisses him then pulls away from him.)

Raven: I love you too. If we can't clear my sister's name. Someone will be going to prison for a crime they did do.

(She laughs at him as she smacks him getting him to laugh at her then they both walk off towards the conference room.)

Reagan: Mark!
Mark: That was Sobel.
Kate: What she want?

(Then the door opens and they all look over at who it is.)

Mark: Shit.
Mickey: What?
Sobel: Maggie McPherson!

(Maggie looks at her and then to Mark who puts his head down annoyed.)

Maggie: Oh you've got to be fucken kidding me?
Mark: That's what i was about to tell her before you guys walked in.

(Sobel nods her head at him.)

(Maggie nods her head at her as she stands up then walks over to her as she gets to her she grabs out her cuff's and she reads her rights once they've been read Mickey sits there not sure of what to say or do.)

Mickey: Maggie don't say anything until i get there.
Maggie: I won't.

(Then they walk off with her as Mark throws a chair across the office getting everyone to turn and look at him.)

(Then he walks out of the office to go and make a call as they continue to walk off with Maggie.)

(Mark's looking for the person he wants to call as he finds their number he dial's it hoping they'll answer it. Then the phone picks up.)

Woman: Hello!
Mark: Hey. I need your help.
Woman: Why What's going on?
Mark: Sid! Maggie's being framed for the murder of Lee Langford.

(She puts her head down annoyed.)

Sidney: Shit.
Mark: I wouldn't be calling if it wasn't important.
Sidney: I know. How are you?
Mark: I've been better.

(She laughs on the other end.)

Sidney: I'll talk to Kirby and we'll head out there okay.
Mark: Okay.
Sidney: We're gonna get this straightened out Mark.
Mark: I know that.

(She smiles on the other end and then they hang up with each other as Mark looks behind him at Raven who can tell what he's thinking he puts his hand out for her and she walks over to him as she gets to him. He kisses her getting her to smile in it then he pulls away from her.)

Raven: What she say?
Mark: She'll talk to Kirby and then they'll head out here.
Raven: Okay.
Mark: Hey.
Raven: It's not that babe it's not.
Mark: Babe you're so jealous.

(She smacks him getting him to laugh.)

Raven: I know. I just. When it comes around to you and Sidney i just get.

(She looks at him.)

(She feels what he's doing and laughs at him.)

(Then his phone goes off he grabs it out to see who it is seeing the number he gets annoyed but answers it.)

Sonny: Mark!
Mark: What the hell do you want Sonny?

(When he doesn't he answer him Mark hangs up and looks at his girlfriend.)

Raven: Let me guess.
Mark: He never said anything so i just hung up.
Raven: Okay.

(Mark smiles at her as he sees Mickey walk out of the office and heads off towards the parking garage where his Lincoln is parked as Mickey walks off Mark looks at Lorna who looks off feeling bad for Mickey.)

Mark: We're gonna get her out of this.
Lorna: I know we will. I just worry about him.
Mark: I don't blame you.
Lorna: I just don't know what to do Mark. I don't.

(He grabs his friend pulls her into a hug getting to break down in his arms. Mark looks at Raven who smiles at him and he mouths I love you.)

Raven: I know. You're one hell of a friend babe.
Mark: I try to be.

(Then she pulls away from him.)

Lorna: Thank you.
Mark: You're welcome.
Lorna: I'm gonna go in there and see what i can do about.
Mark: Okay. Babe can you stay and help her out?
Raven: Yeah.

(He kisses her then pulls away from her. As he walks off to go with Mickey.)

Minutes later.

At the police station.

(Mark and Mickey walk into the station and walk over to Sobel and Griggs as they get to them.)

Mark: Hey.

(They both turn and look at him.)

Griggs: Hey.
Mickey: Where is she?
Sobel: She's in here.

(She walks him towards their interrogation room as they get there he walks in seeing she gets up and walks over to him and he hugs her getting him to smile at her.)

Mickey: You okay?
Maggie: No.

(He pulls away from her and she leans against the table.)

Mickey: Have you said anything to them?
Maggie: Not yet.
Mickey: Okay.
Maggie: If this is gonna be to hard for you to do.
Mickey: It will be. But i can do this Mag's if it gets to rough I'll hand it over to Laurel.

Mickey: I just feel like it's my fault. That all of this is happening.

(They both look at each other and know what the other is thinking but they can't do it do to him being her lawyer.)

Mickey: I can try and be your lawyer. It gets to hard i will take myself off of your case.
Maggie: Okay.

(Then the door opens as both Griggs and Sobel walk into the room.)

(Maggie and Mickey sit down so they can talk to the Detectives.)

Later that day.

At Mickey's house.

(He's in the kitchen looking Maggie's files and over Soto's as someone knocks on the door he closes up both files and walks over to the door as he gets there he opens it to find Lisa there and quickly closes it in her face.)

Lisa: Oh come on Mickey.
Mickey: Go away Lisa.
Lisa: Mickey come on.

(He locks the door and grabs out his phone to call Mark. Who quickly answers and rushes over to his house.)

Minutes later.

Outside of Mickey's house.

(Mark pulls up and stops the car once it's stopped he puts it into park and then shuts it off once it's off he gets out after grabbing his keys and closes the door on the car then he walks over to the house and sees someone there.)

Mark: You realize he doesn't want you around right.

(She turns and looks at him.)

Lisa: Mark!
Mark: Hi.
Lisa: Hi.
Mark: What you doing here?
Lisa: I came to see Mickey.
Mark: On the same night as the love of his life being arrested.

(She looks at him and laughs off the shock.)

Lisa: Mark!
Mark: Just get out of here.
Lisa: I'm not leaving until i see Mickey.
Mark: Yeah well he doesn't wanna see you. Now take it a fucken hike.
Lisa: Mark!

Lisa: I just wanted to see him.

Mark: You had known for months that your husband was dead and you made him think that he had gone off to Mexico.

(She looks at him and then looks off annoyed.)

Mark: And then. You hired some guy to play your husband. And Might i add that you let Henry Dahl hire two guys beat the hell out of the very man who did everything he could to get you off for the crime you were being charged with.

(Lisa looks off not sure of what say to him until she says something that gets his attention.)

Lisa: Help me get Mickey back and the murder charges of Lee Langford go away. Maggie McPherson will walk away a free woman.

(Mark looks at her taken back by what she said not wanting to cause her any harm he laughs at her.)

Mark: So your the one whose been framing Maggie for all of it?
Lisa: I can't take all of the credit. I had help.
Mark: Oh yeah. You get your buddy Henry involved again. Or was it someone else?
Lisa: Oh I definitely had help.
Mark: Oh yeah who was that?
Lisa: Oh i don't think I'll tell you that.
Mark: Didn't think you would. But still not helping you get Mickey back.
Lisa: Well then things are only going to get worse for one Maggie McPherson.

(She walks off as Mark looks at her and laughs off the annoyance. Then he walks up to the house after shuting off the voice recorder as he gets to the house he knocks on the door then the door opens and Mark walks inside of the house Mickey closes the door.)

Mickey: What she want?
Mark: To see you.
Mickey: Is that all?
Mark: No.

(Mickey looks at him and Mark hands him the recorder.)

Mickey: What is this?
Mark: It's a recording of Lisa openly saying she's the one who set Maggie up.

(Mickey looks at him and gets annoyed as he pushes play on the recorder as he's listening to it he can hear the hell Lisa's putting Hayley through due to her setting her mother up for a crime she never even did. Once it was done he looks at Mark.)

Mickey: Shit. And she never mentioned who was helping her?
Mark: No. And that's what scares me.
Mickey: Me too. Me and Hayley can't lose Maggie Mark.
Mark: I know.
Mickey: Fuck.

(Mark looks at him and can tell he's trying not to lose it.)

Mark: Mick can you handle Maggie's case?

(Mickey looks at him and then looks off as he looks at him again.)

Mickey: I love her man. So I just I don't know.
Mark: Okay.
Mickey: I uh. Fuck.

(Mark looks at him feeling bad for him.)

Mickey: I hate that woman.

(Mickey's phone goes off he walks into the kitchen to go and answer the phone. Once he has it he answers it.)

Mickey: Cisco!
Cisco: Hey. I just got a call from Detective Sobel.

(Mickey looks at Mark who walks into the kitchen.)

Mickey: What she say?
Cisco: It's Maggie.
Mickey: What about her?
Cisco: She's on the way to Los Angeles General.
Mickey: Why?
Cisco: She was attacked in her cell.
Mickey: What?
Cisco: Mick it's not good.

(He hangs up with him as he rushes to Hayley's room and tells her she gets up and they rush out of the house to go the hospital.)

Minutes later.

At Los Angeles General.

(All of Maggie's friends and family rush in and head for the nurses station.)

Mickey: Excuse me.

(The nurse looks up at him.)

Nurse: Yeah.
Mickey: I was told about Maggie McPherson being brought in.
Nurse: You family?
Mickey: Yes i am.
Nurse: Okay. She's upstairs in room 2243.
Mickey: Thank you.
Nurse: You're welcome.

(They all rush off towards the elevator.)

Minutes later.

Up in Maggie's room.

(Mickey and Hayley rush into the room and see her lying there.)

Hayley: Mom.

(Maggie's lying there not really talking with anyone as Hayley rushes over to her mother and grabs her hand getting her to look at her.)

Maggie: What you doing here?
Hayley: I wanted to see you after dad said you had been hurt.
Maggie: You can say beat up. It won't hurt my feelings.

Hayley: Yeah.

(She walks over to the water to get it for Maggie as Mickey leans into her and kisses her head then pulls away from it as places his hand onto her cheek getting her to lean into it.)

Maggie: Mickey!
Mickey: Yeah.
Maggie: You can't be my lawyer.
Mickey: Why not?
Maggie: Because there are still feelings between us.
Mickey: I know that.
Maggie: So you can't be my attorney.
Mickey: Mag's I'm trying to hide them. I really am. I just.
Maggie: Hey.
Mickey: You're right i can't do this. Not with the way I'm feeling about you.

(Maggie looks at him and smiles.)

(Mickey smiles at her as he kisses her as their kissing she smiles in it then he pulls away from her.)

Sidney: He did. He told me that someone has been setting Maggie up to take the fall for a murder she didn't committee.

Sidney: Have any idea on who would want to set you up?
Maggie: I was Prosecutor Sidney take your pick.
Sidney: I know. Prosecutor's aren't normally liked people on trial. But then again neither are defense attorney's.

(Mickey looks at her and then looks off annoyed.)

Mickey: I might have someone in mind.

(They both look at him as Mark walks into the room followed by Raven and the other's.)

(She looks at him and smiles at him.)

Sidney: Hey.
Mark: Hey.

(He walks over to her and she hugs him then pulls away from him.)

Mark: I honestly didn't think you'd come.
Sidney: There a reason i shouldn't of.

(Mark nods beside him and she looks at her getting her to look at her.)

(Maggie puts her head back not sure if she can handle her sister and Sidney's rivalry as far Mark goes.)

Maggie: Rav behave. You too Sidney.

(They both look at her and quickly back away from each other.)

Mark: Yeah this is gonna be fun. Say Sid where's Kirby?

(Sidney looks at him and laughs.)

Sidney: She's at the hotel with Jill and Trevor.
Mark: Oh shit.
Sidney: Yeah.
Mark: I know this doesn't go without saying.

Mark: I wasn't talking about Raven.

(Trevor stops in his tracks as he reaches the door and then gives Robbie a what the hell look as both of their wives are trying to keep from laughing.)

Mark: But then again. Trevor while high on pain meds kept calling Kirby. Mirby!

(Kirby looks off as they start laughing at her face.)

(Kirby nods her head at him as they start laughing again.)

Mark: Right. Sid there is something i wanted to tell you.

Mark: Me and Mickey believe we know whose setting Maggie up.

(Sidney looks at him and then to Mickey who hands her the recorder once she has it she pushes play on it.)

On the recorder.

Mark: What you just say?

Mark: Yeah. But she didn't actually confirm if Henry is the one helping her set Maggie up to take the fall for Lee Langford's murder.
Sidney: Why is Lisa willing to go through all of this in order to set Maggie up?
Mark: Your answer to that question Sid is standing right next to her.

(She looks at Mickey and then she looks at her ex.)

Sidney: Well shit.
Mark: Yeah. Lisa has a lot motive to want to frame Maggie for this murder. Or well murders.

(Sidney looks at him. But it's Kirby who says something.)

Kirby: Murders as in more then one?
Mark: Yeah. Detective Sobel said a body washed up on the beach this morning.
Sidney: Who the hell was it?
Mark: Erica Flynn!

(Sidney and Kirby look at each other and then look off annoyed.)

Kirby: Well shit.
Mark: Yeah.
Sidney: Okay um.
Mickey: Why don't you guys go back to the hotel and get some sleep we can all meet at my office in the morning.
Sidney: Okay. Maggie!
Maggie: I'll be are right. I have the badass Sidney Reed-Prescott looking out for me. And my sister.

(Sidney and Raven laugh at her.)

Sidney: Okay. See you guys in the morning.

(She hands Mark back the recorder and he smiles at her as she turns and walks out followed by the other's.)

Mark: Babe.
Raven: I'll behave if she does.
Mark: Oh come.
Raven: Sorry.
Mark: It's fine. Look i know you two don't like the other. But Maggie's your sister and she needs a lawyer given how Mickey can't do it.
Raven: Yeah I know that. Honestly I'm glad she did come.
Mark: So am i.
Raven: Anyway. I'm tired.
Mark: Okay. I'll take you back to the hotel.
Raven: Okay.
Mark: We'll see you guys in the morning are right.
Maggie: Okay.
Mark: Are right.

(He walks over to his friend and kisses her head then pulls away from it.)

Mark: Hang in there Mag's are right.
Maggie: I will.

(Mark smiles at her as he walks off with Raven to go back to the hotel for the rest of the night.)

The following morning.

At Mickey's Law office.

(Mark and the other's walk in and over to him.)

Mark: Morning. We got coffee's and donuts.

(He puts everything down onto the table in the conference room as Mickey walks over to them.)

Mickey: Thanks.
Mark: Anytime. Have you seen Maggie?
Mickey: Me and Hayley were with her all night.
Mark: The hospital allowed that?
Mickey: Yeah.
Mark: How is she doing?
Mickey: She's holding her own.
Mark: What's the matter?
Mickey: I was talking to Andrea this morning and she said a Prosecutor has been put onto this case.
Mark: Who?
Mickey: Ted Minton!

(Mark looks at him and laughs off the annoyance.)

Mark: Of course it's fucken Minton.
Mickey: Yeah Andrea said Cardone wanted to give her and Golantz the case but they both told him to kiss off.

(Mark laughs at him.)

Mark: Sounds about right.
Mickey: Right.

(They start laughing then calm down)

Mark: Anyway.
Mickey: Yeah. Sidney!
Sidney: Hey.
Mickey: Hey. Um there is more to this case then we told you last night.
Sidney: Okay.
Mickey: Maggie came to me and my team including Mark and the other's.
Kirby: About what?
Mickey: Angelo Soto's case file had landed on her desk a couple of days ago.

(He shows her the file with permission from Maggie. Sidney opens it up to see what's inside of it as she's reading through it she looks at Mickey.)

Sidney: I don't understand. Why would Maggie's name be on this list?
Lorna: That's one of the things we've been trying to figure out. And then the two murders happened.
Trevor: They have any other suspects?
Mickey: As far as we know. The only suspects they have is Maggie. And that's only because we believe Lisa's doing a very good job at setting her up.
Sidney: What are these two names on here other than Maggie?
Kate: Luke had been going through that list from top to bottom and the two towards the bottom are Reagan's parents.

(Sidney and the other's look at her and then look off annoyed as she puts the file down and grabs up the other file.)

Sidney: How long would you say that your parents had been working with Soto?
Reagan: Honestly Sidney. I don't know. When it came around to them on who cared they cared about. They only cared about themselves. Me and Margot be damned.

(Kate looks at her and feels bad for her.)

Reagan: It only became worse when i came out as gay.

(Kirby looks at her as she looks over at Jill and Olivia who look down feeling bad for Kirby.)

Kirby: Boy do I know that feeling all to well.
Reagan: What?
Kirby: Well my mom isn't so bad. But my dad is a complete tool who actually said i was disgusting all because i love women more then guys.

(Reagan smiles at her.)

Reagan: Well I'm sorry your dad's such an asshole.
Kirby: So am i. You should see how quickly Trevor goes after my father. It's funny.

(Reagan laughs at her.)

Reagan: Yeah Oliver's the same way. But then again so's Mark.

(Mark looks at her and laughs as he walks over to her and she hugs him then pulls away from him as he kisses his best friends head then pulls away from it as he walks over to the other's.)

Sidney: Okay um. This is gonna be a long day and a long trial.
Mark: Yeah Sid. Mickey said he talked to one of Maggie's friends over at the Hall of Justice.

(She looks at him.)

Sidney: Okay.
Mickey: She knows who the prosecutor is going to be when Maggie's case goes to trial.

(Sidney looks at him and then to Mark.)

Sidney: Who is it?
Mickey: Ted Minton!

(Sidney looks at him and looks off trying to keep from laughing.)

Jill: Why does everyone seem so annoyed to hear that guys name?
Sidney: Because Ted Minton has a habit of putting snitched onto the stand.
Jill: Huh?
Mark: There was a guy during the Louis Roulet murder trail his name was Corliss. Minton had put him up onto the stand stating that he over heard Roulet saying in the prison that he had told him that he had attacked and tried to kill Reggie Campo.

(Kirby Trevor Jill Olivia and Robbie look at each other and then look off.)

Sidney: I thought she had friends in that office.
Mark: She does. Only thing is Jeff and Andrea are the only ones willing to stand up for her.
Sidney: Oh well isn't that just fucken great.
Mark: Yeah.
Sidney: Was this guy in love with by any chance.
Mark: Given how good looking the woman is. Would you really blame him?
Sidney: No.
Mark: Well then see. And I'm getting dirty looks from Mickey.

(Mickey looks at him and laughs.)

Mickey: Sorry.
Mark: No it's fine.
Mickey: Okay good.
Jill: So where do we start Sid?
Sidney: We start where ever Mickey wants too.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mickey: I say we keep on the Soto file. Because there's got to be someone on the list we can find that won't help whoever the it is throw Maggie under the bus.
Mark: Okay.

(Sidney smiles at him as they walk off towards the conference room to go and get started on how to defend Maggie when the time comes.)

Four months later.

At the courthouse.

(Everyone is in the courtroom in the middle of Maggie's murder trial. After weeks of looking into both the murders of Lee Langford and Erica Flynn seemed like whoever it was that was setting Maggie to take the

fall for their murders as her trial continues both sides of courtroom due what they can to either convince the jury of why or why Maggie wouldn't committee these murders and as the trial continues they've had a

number of people go up onto the stand to tell their sides of the story only to have Sidney get the witnesses on the Prosecution side to either stick to their story or to slip up and tell them a completely different

story from the one they told before. Very much like the witness they have up on stand now. With everything he's saying Sidney's looking forward to doing her cross. Once Minton's line of questioning is finished

Sidney sits there for a minute and then gets up to look at him.)

Sidney: Mr. Dhal.

(Henry looks at her and gets nervous when he realizes who it is. Both Maggie and Mickey being lawyers see how quickly Henry gets when he sees Sidney and Maggie gets Sidney's attention she looks at her and she

leans into her she looks at her after she tells her then she looks over at Henry whose doing everything he can to cover up his nervousness.)

Sidney: This is gonna be fun.

(They start laughing at her. As she walks towards him.)

Sidney: Mr. Dhal do you know what the term Perjury means?

(Henry looks at her and shakes his head.)

Sidney: It means that if you perjure yourself on the stand you can get sent to jail.

(Henry looks at her and laughs off the shock.)

Henry: Oh.
Sidney: And I don't know about everyone else in this room. But you seem to be offly nervous.

(Henry laughs at her.)

Henry: I'm not.
Sidney: It's okay Mr. Dahl i don't bite.

(He nods his head at her.)

Sidney: Are right. So Mr. Dhal in your own words again tell us about the night you saw my client come out of Detective Langford's office.

(He goes into the story again.)

Sidney: So you saw my client walk into the police Station to go and see the Detective?
Henry: Yes.
Sidney: What was she wearing?

(Henry looks at her and then to the judge.)

Henry: What?
Sidney: What was my client wearing the day she supposedly killed Detective Langford?
Henry: I-I-I don't know.
Sidney: So you can tell from where you were across the street that the person who killed Lee Langford was my client?
Henry: Yes.
Sidney: But you can't tell us what she was wearing that day?
Henry: No.
Sidney: Was she wearing a suit. Normal everyday cloths. Give us something Mr. Dhal. Was she naked?

(Mark's behind them trying to keep from laughing as Mickey's also trying to keep from laughing.)

Ted: Objection.
Sidney: With drawn.
Fullbright: Mrs. Reed-Prescott!
Sidney: Sorry your honor. Won't happen again.
Fullbright: Make sure it doesn't.

(Sidney nods her head at him.)

Sidney: So like i said. You could tell from where you were standing that the person who came out of the police station was my client.
Henry: Yes.
Sidney: But you can't tell us what she was wearing that day.
Henry: No.
Sidney: So you expect the court to believe that you saw my client come out of the police station at around the time that the detective was killed. But yet can't tell us what she was wearing.
Henry: No.
Sidney: Okay.

(She continues on with her cross as Mark's phone goes off he grabs it out to see who it is then quickly gets up and walks out of the courtroom.)

Out in the hallway.

(Mark's on the phone.)

Mark: Tell me you got something?
Trevor: Oh we've got something.
Mark: Where are you guys?
Trevor: Just getting into the courthouse now.
Mark: Are right. Well I'll by the courtroom waiting for you.
Trevor: Will do.

(Then he hangs up with him and then waits for them to come.)

Seconds later.

(Mark looks down at the hallway to see Trevor and the other's walking towards him. As they get there.)

Mark: What you guys got?
Trevor: The smoking gun to could put one hell of a dent into the Prosecutions case.
Mark: And that is?
Jill: John Flynn!

Mark: What you guys got?
Trevor: The smoking gun that could put one hell of a dent into the Prosecutions case.
Mark: And that is?
Jill: John Flynn!

(Mark looks at her and then to Trevor.)

Mark: You guys wanna run that one by me again?
Trevor: John Flynn is alive.

(Mark looks at him and then looks off annoyed as he pulls his phone out and texts Sidney. Once it's finished he sends it and then looks off as Robbie hands him the file.)

Mark: How'd you guys?
Jill: It wasn't easy that's for fucken sure.
Mark: I didn't think it would be.

(He's looking through the file as Sidney walks out of the courtroom and over to them.)

Sidney: Hey.
Mark: Hey.
Sidney: What's that?
Mark: A file on John Flynn.

(He hands it to her. Once she has it she looks through it and then looks at them.)

Sidney: Do i wanna know how they got this?
Mark: Probably not.
Sidney: Didn't think so. You guys wanna explain this to me?
Olivia: We had been trying to figure out why someone has been so set against setting Maggie up for the murder of Lee Langford.
Sidney: I think we can guess why their going after Maggie.
Olivia: Well yeah. But.
Sidney: What?
Trevor: There's more to it. And I have a feeling the Prosecutor isn't gonna be to happy to know that this was found and that we know about Erica Flynn's husband still being alive.

(Both Mark and Sidney look at them and then to each other.)

Sidney: Shit.
Mark: What we do?
Sidney: I'm gonna have to show this to the judge. He won't be to happy with a last minute witness being added but.
Mark: Why would John wanna testify? For all we know he could of been on the let's frame Maggie McPherson train.
Sidney: I know. And the only way to get to the bottom of this is to show the judge.
Mark: Are you guys sure he's alive?
Jill: Yes. I called in Mark Kincaid to go and get him.

(Sidney looks at her and then to Mark who looks off annoyed. But gets why she did it.)

Mark: Are right.
Sidney: I'll see if the judge will send us to an early lunch.
Mark: Okay. What about Dhal?
Sidney: Mark he couldn't even tell me what Maggie was wearing the day Langford was killed.
Mark: Oh i know. You asked if she was wearing a suit everyday normal cloths. Or well if she was naked.

(Sidney looks at him and then looks off.)

Sidney: Yeah. Don't tell Kirby i asked that.
Mark: Oh It's not me you gotta worry about telling Kirby.

(Sidney looks at him and then to her wife's three bestfriends and her brother.)

Sidney: If you four say anything. And I'll end up killing my brother in law. Cousin and my wife's other friends.

(Jill Robbie Olivia and Trevor look at each other and nod their heads at her.)

Sidney: Okay good.
Mark: Shit Sid.
Sidney: What?
Mark: You're more McFierce then Maggie.

(They start laughing as they walk back into the courtroom.)

Fullbright: Mrs. Reed-Prescott!
Sidney: Sorry your honor.
Fullbright: Is it are right if we continue?
Sidney: Actually you're honor I'd like to ask for an early lunch.

(Both Maggie and Mickey look at her confused.)

Maggie: Why?
Sidney: In a minute.

(Maggie nods her head at her.)

Fullbright: And why's that?
Sidney: My team just found something out about one of the murder victims.

(The judge and Minton look at her.)

Fullbright: And what is that?
Sidney: You're honor. As of right now Detective Kincaid is looking for someone I'd like to talk about his wife.
Fullbright: Whose this person Mrs. Reed-Prescott?
Sidney: John Flynn!

(Everyone in the room look at each other in shock and then to the agents in the room who look off.)

Teresa: Shit.

(Fullbright looks at the back of the courtroom.)

Fullbright: Agent Lisbon.
Teresa: I'm sorry your honor.
Fullbright: Do you or agents have something to say?
Teresa: No you're honor.
Fullbright: Are right well. I'll grant you a two hour lunch break. Confer with your client.
Sidney: Yes you're honor.

(He nods his head at him as he gets up and walks off towards his chambers. As Andrea tells them they can go up to her office. They all get up and walk out of the courtroom to go up to her office.)

Minutes later.

Up on the 10th floor.

(They all walk off of the elevator and they walk into what use to be Maggie's office and Andrea looks at her.)

Maggie: It's are right.
Andrea: You look annoyed.
Maggie: I'm not. But i do love what you've done with the place.
Andrea: Smartass.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Mark: Anyway.
Sidney: Right. My cousin and her friends found this out about John Flynn.

(She hands Andrea the file and she looks through it as she's reading the file she becomes more and more annoyed by the second.)

Andrea: Shit.
Mark: What?
Andrea: I won't ask how they got this file because frankly this guy could get Maggie out of these murder charges.
Mark: He could.
Andrea: But you mentioned that Mark Kincaid was looking for him?
Sidney: I did.
Andrea: Something tells me. That now that everyone knows that John Flynn is alive and well.
Mark: You thinking?

(Maggie looks at her and then looks off annoyed.)

Jill: What? Why does she look so annoyed?
Mickey: Now that people know about John Flynn being alive. The CBI are going to be moving John Flynn from where the hell they have him stashed.
Mark: Well then we better hope Kincaid finds him before the CBI can get back to him.
Andrea: Yeah.

An hour later.

(Mark's still sitting there waiting for an update. As he's waiting his phone finally goes off he grabs it out to see who it is. Seeing the number Mark answers it.)

Mark: Kincaid please tell me you and Sobel found John Flynn?
Kincaid: We did.
Mark: And?
Kincaid: Right as we were pulling up. One of the CBI agents was walking out of a safe house with him.
Mark: They were gonna move him?
Kincaid: By the looks of it yes they were.
Mark: Fuck. Do you guys have him?
Kincaid: He's in the back of the car now. They aren't to happy with us.
Mark: Yeah well I really don't care.
Kincaid: Kind of figured you would say that.
Mark: Well I'm so glad you did.

(He laughs on the other end.)

Mark: Are right. When you guys get back here bring him straight to the Hall of Justice.
Kincaid: You bet.

(Then he hangs up with him as Mark rushes back into Andrea's office who looks at him.)

Mark: They got him.

(They all look at him and give off a sing of relief.)

Andrea: Oh thank god.
Mickey: How hard was it for them to get him?
Mark: Kincaid said CBI was are ready removing him from the safe house they had him in.

(They all look off annoyed.)

An hour later.

Back in the courtroom.

(The trail is back in session with the trial back underway their waiting for Kincaid and Sobel to arrive with John Flynn. As both sides continue to go back and forth Maggie's starting to get annoyed until the doors in

the back of the courtroom as they open everyone turns to see who it is. Seeing who it is everyone looks at him in shock.)

Fullbright: Will someone please tell me what this is all about?
Mark: You're honor Ladies and gentlemen of the jury meet John Flynn.

(They all look at him Maggie looks at him and then looks off annoyed.)

Fullbright: I gotta tell ya Mr. Flynn I was expecting them to find you.

(He looks at him and then looks off.)

Fullbright: I take it you two just got in?
Kincaid: Yes you're honor.
Fullbright: Are right.

(As he's about send the court into an early day the very agents they took him from walk into the courtroom.)

Mark: Oh look Sid it's Erica Flynn's stalker.

(Patrick looks at him and can tell he's annoyed with him.)

Fullbright: What was that Mr. Buchanan.

(Mark looks at him as he stands up to talk to him.)

Mark: Nothing you're honor. I was just thinking out loud.
Fullbright: Wanna tell us what you were thinking?
Mark: Just calling Patrick Jane what he is.
Patrick: Now wait a minute.
Mark: You're honor I can honestly say whatever it is this man is about to tell you is a bunch of crap.

(Patrick looks at him thrown by what he said.)

Fullbright: How's that?
Mark: From the very first day of John Flynn's murder investigation Mr. Jane here was so convinced that his wife did it.

(They all look at him.)

Patrick: She did do it.
Mark: Apparently not. If he's standing right here in the courtroom very much a fucken alive.

(They all look at him and then look off.)

Mark: And in believing so you're honor. Mr. Jane continued to go Mrs. Flynn's place of business and continued to haress her.

(Patrick looks at him and then looks off.)

Mark: Hell he was even convinced that Mrs. Flynn was having an affair.

(He looks at him and then looks off.)

Fullbright: Mr. Jane is all of this true?

(Patrick looks at him and then to Mark who walks over to his friends and stands with them as he walks forward.)

Patrick: You're honor. I was only going with what my colleagues were going with.

(Mark looks at him and then he looks at Sidney whose leaning against the table trying to keep from laughing.)

Mark: Oh really?

(Patrick looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: You're honor. I'd hate to do this but.

(Mark pulls the recorder out and pushes play on it as it's playing the whole courtroom can hear what he's saying.)

Teresa: How do you know that?
Patrick: Because she killed her husband.

(Then Mark stops the recording as Patrick looks at Mark knowing full he's had the recording for awhile.)

Patrick: Why'd you do that?
Mark: Because you guys knew he was alive and you still kept going back to Erica and you kept saying over and over again how she had killed him.

(Patrick along with the whole CBI team look off not sure of what to say or do.)

Mark: Hell you had yourself so damn convinced that Erica was having an affair.
Patrick: That's because she was.
Mark: No she wasn't. She was nothing but faithful to him. She wasn't some fucken gold digger Jane.

(Patrick looks at him and then to everyone in the room.)

Patrick: She was having an affair and with Peter.

(Mark looks at him and then looks at Teresa who looks off not sure of what to say. But Mark's finding it very hard not to laugh at him.)

Mark: Peter and Erica weren't having an affair.
Patrick: Yes they were.
Mark: No they weren't Peter was gay.

(Patrick looks at him and then looks off.)

Mark: I mean even gay people can have crushes. But they weren't sleeping together. In fact sleeping with her wasn't even a blimp on his mind.
Patrick: Why didn't you tell us any of this?
Mark: Why the hell didn't you ask? See it goes both ways Jane. You want answers you ask the questions in order to get them. If you don't ask. You don't get answers. Simple as that.

(Patrick looks at him and then looks at the judge.)

John: You're honor I'd like to testify on the behalf of Maggie McPherson.

(Fullbright and Sidney look at him as Sidney looks at Maggie.)

Fullbright: You sure about this?
John: I am. With everything I just learned you're honor. The Prosecution can kiss my ass.

(Minton looks at him in shock at what he just said. As Sidney and Maggie both look at each other in shock.)

Fullbright: Are you ready Mrs. Reed-Prescott?
Sidney: I am.
Fullbright: Come up here Mr. Flynn and place your hand onto the book.

(He walks forward to go and sit down on the stand as Minton stands up.)

Ted: Objection you're honor.
Sidney: For what?
Fullbright: Are you objecting to this witness because he wants to testify on the behalf of Ms. McPherson?
Ted: Yes you're honor.

(Sidney looks at him as just as confused.)

Sidney: And just why would you be objecting to him being a witness for the defense?

(Ted looks at her and then looks off.)

Fullbright: She asks a good question Mr. Minton.

(Maggie's watching him and can tell he's trying to keep from losing his focus on the case at hand seeing this Maggie writes something down and then tears it off to show Cisco who takes it to read it after reading it

he looks over at Minton and then hands it to Mickey who reads it and then laughs as he looks at Maggie.)

Mickey: Shit.
Lorna: What?
Mickey: Minton was hoping to get John Flynn to side with him and put Maggie in prison for the murder of Lee Langford.

(Lorna looks off annoyed.)

Lorna: Son of a bitch.
Mickey: Took the words right out of my mouth.
Cisco: You thinking?
Mickey: Yup only thing is. We've got no proof and I'm gonna lose the woman I love because of it.

(He gets up and walks out of the courtroom which gets Mark to go after him including Trevor.)

Out in the hallway.

(Mark and Trevor split up in order to try and find Mickey.)

Back inside of the courtroom.

Fullbright: Mr. Minton. I'd like to get this trail going again at some point today.
Ted: You're honor this man just learned some news that's clearly messing with his head.
John: My head is just fine Mr. Minton.

(Minton looks at him and continues to get nervous.)

Sidney: Do you have something to be afraid of. Mr. Minton?

(He turns and looks at her as Erica's husband is sworn in. He sits down as Minton does the same thing and Sidney starts in on questioning with him.)

Out in the hallway.

(Mark's running around looking for Mickey when he hears something in one of the stair wells and rushes in to see him punching the wall with his still healing hand and stops him as he grabs a hold of him and

keeps a hold of him.)

Mark: Hey hey Mick come on your hand is still healing.
Mickey: I don't care.
Mark: Mickey!

(He looks at him as he leans against the railing trying to keep from losing it.)

Mark: What the hell?

(He hands Mark the note Maggie wrote and he reads it as Trevor and Robbie run into the stairwell.)

Trevor: What's going on?
Mark: Minton's been in on helping get Maggie sent to prison.
Robbie: What?
Mickey: He was never happy with the fact that me and Maggie had been going back and forth on getting back together for years.
Trevor: So he helped Lisa set Maggie up?
Mickey: I believe so.
Mark: One of you go back to the courtroom and get Maggie.

(Robbie quickly runs from the stairwell to go and get Maggie.)

Back in the courtroom.

(Sidney's still questioning John Flynn about the day that Lee Langford had been killed and everytime Sidney goes to bring up who he believes did it. Minton objects to the question which is starting to annoy Sidney

not to mention the jury.)

Sidney: You know your honor the more Mr. Minton objects to my line of questions. I'm starting to think he has something to hide.

(Minton looks at her and sits back shutting up. As Sidney goes back to questioning him as Robbie walks back in and heads over to Maggie and tells her something in her ear getting her to look up at him. She gets

Sidney's attention who walks over to her and she tells her.)

Sidney: Shit okay. Uh You're honor I'd like to call for a ten minute break.
Fullbright: Okay ten minutes. But after that we're gonna continue on with this trial today.
Sidney: Yes you're honor. Ten Minutes Mag's no longer.
Maggie: Okay.

(She gets up and walks out of the courtroom.)

Back over in the stairwell.

(Maggie and Robbie walk in to see Mickey sitting there with his head down.)

Mark: He was hitting his hand against the wall.

(Maggie looks at him and then looks at the wall.)

Maggie: Shit. Mickey!

(He looks up at her and she walks over to him to see his hand.)

Mickey: I'm sorry.
Maggie: For what?
Mickey: Interrupting things again.
Maggie: I'd say it's okay. But it's not.

(He looks at her and laughs as she looks his hand over.)

Maggie: It's okay. You'll just have bruising on your knuckles.
Mickey: Okay.

(She sits there with him and talks with him until the ten minutes is up and she gets up to go back to the courtroom. As she walks out Mickey gets up to head back to the courtroom as he walks out he walks up

behind Maggie and grabs her hand getting her to smile at him as they get to the courtroom Mickey opens the door and they all walk back in to get the hearing going again. Through out the rest of the afternoon

the trial continues until the judge gets ready to call case for the day as he's about to do that Kincaid walks back into the courtroom.)

Fullbright: Detective!
Kincaid: I'm sorry you're honor. It can wait.

(He nods his head at him as he dismisses everyone for the day and then they all get to leave. As their leaving Kincaid grabs Mark's arm and he looks at him as he tells him hearing what he did he looks at him and

then to Maggie as he quickly runs from the courtroom as he runs out Sidney looks at her ex and seeing the look on his face she knows it wasn't good news he gave him.)

Minutes later.

At the corner's office.

(Mark rushes in and towards where they keep the bodies as he gets there he runs in and they look up at him.)

Laurel: Mark!
Mark: Don't.

(She nods her head at him as he walks over to the bed and pulls the sheet down to see who it is and loses it.)

Mark: NO.

Mark: No.

(They all look at him and then look off knowing he just lost someone he loves.)

Mark: Fuck. Why?
Laurel: We don't know. Oliver and Reagan tried to get to her before she was killed.
Mark: Who?
Sara: We don't know.
Mark: Fuck. Did you guys tell Maggie?

(Then she rushes into the room and Mark looks at her.)

Mark: I'm sorry Mag's.

(She walks over to him and looks down at the body of her sister.)

Maggie: Shit. Raven!
Mark: I'm so sorry Mag's.
Maggie: Who the fuck did this?
Sara: We don't know.
Maggie: No. Fuck. Why the hell now? No.

(Mark stands there looking at her feeling bad for her for what she's going through.)

Maggie: Rav. Mark!

(He grabs her into a hug getting her to break down in his arms.)

Mark: I'm so sorry.
Maggie: I can't believe my sisters gone. Mark I can't.
Mark: I know.

(Then Mark sees Mickey who walks over to her and Mark hands her over to him once he has her she continues to cry over the loss of her sister.)

Later that night.

At Mickey's.

In his room

(Both Mickey and Maggie are lying down on the bed as their lying there Maggie's trying to keep from losing it again.)

Maggie: Who would do this Mickey?
Mickey: I don't know. But I'm sure they'll find out.
Maggie: It's not fair.
Mickey: I know sweetheart I know.
Maggie: I miss her are ready Mickey and she's only been gone a couple of hours.
Mickey: I know.

(He keeps the woman he loves in his arms until they both fall asleep for the night.)

The following morning.

At Mickey's.

In Mickey's room.

(Maggie's still lying there sleeping as she's sleeping Mickey walks in to see her asleep he walks over to her as he gets to her he kisses her head getting her to wake up and looks at him.)

Mickey: Hey Beautiful.
Maggie: Hey.
Mickey: How you feeling?

(Maggie looks at him and smiles at him.)

Maggie: I just lost my sister babe.
Mickey: I know. I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through. I honestly don't know how I'd feel if I lost Dex.
Maggie: Hope you never have to find out.
Mickey: Yeah. I love you.
Maggie: I love you too.

(He kisses her then pulls away from her.)

Maggie: Where's?
Mickey: She's in the living room with Sidney and Kirby.
Maggie: Okay. I'll be out in a minute.
Mickey: Okay.

(He stands up and kisses her head again then pulls away from it again.)

Mickey: I'll be in the living room okay.
Maggie: Okay.
Mickey: Come out when you're ready.
Maggie: Kay.

(He smiles at her. Then he turns and walks out of the room to go and sit with their daughter.)

Out in the hallway.

(Mickey leans against the door feeling bad for Maggie because she's just lost someone and really doesn't wanna find what it's like.)

Mickey: Fuck.

Inside of the room.

(Maggie's still lying down on the bed looking at a picture of her and Raven.)

Maggie: Who did this Rav?

(She puts the phone down and starts crying for the sister she just lost all thanks to whoever it was that killed her.)

An hour later.

Out in the living room.

(Everyone is still sitting there thinking about Raven as their thinking Maggie comes out of the room and sits down onto Mickey's lap getting him to wrap his arms around her getting her lean her head onto his shoulder.)

Sidney: You are right Mark?

(Mark looks at her and shakes his head as he gets up to go and sit outside to mourn the loss of the woman he loves.)

Sidney: I would go and talk to him but.
Kirby: Let him be alone babe.
Sidney: I plan on it.
Kirby: So you asked what Maggie was wearing?

(Sidney looks at her wife and then looks off.)

Sidney: Yeah.
Kirby: Did you really ask if she was naked?

(Sidney looks at her as she turns and looks at Trevor and Robbie look around as Jill and Olivia laugh at her.)

Sidney: You two are so dead.
Trevor: Now is that anything to say in front of the Prosecutor.

(Maggie looks at them and laughs.)

Maggie: I didn't hear a thing.

(Both Trevor and Robbie look at her with a playful hurt look.)

Robbie: How dare you?
Maggie: What? I just lost my sister.

(They all look at her and feel bad for her.)

Out on the patio.

(Mark's sitting out there thinking as he's thinking his phone goes off he grabs it out to see who it is. Seeing the number he gets annoyed and mutes it then he puts his phone down.)

Mark: God Raven.

(He falls over as some rushes out and over to him as they get to him they hang onto him as he cries for the woman he loves and is trying to think of ways of getting the person who killed Raven.)

Back inside of the house.

(Everyone is still sitting there as Sidney's phone goes off she grabs it out to see who it is. Seeing the number she answers it then walks off to go and talk to whoever it is on the phone.)

Mickey: What?
Kirby: I don't know.

Over by Sidney.

(Sidney's talking with the Judge whose just told her about the DA'S office dropping all charges of murder against Maggie.)

Sidney: Thank you you're honor.
Fulbright: You're welcome. And Tell Ms. McPherson I'm sorry for her loss. It's not easy losing someone so close.
Sidney: I will.

(They say their goodbyes and she hangs up with him then walks into the living room again.)

Mickey: Hey.
Sidney: Hey.
Kirby: What's up?
Sidney: That was judge Fullbright.

(They all look at her.)

Hayley: And?
Sidney: The DA'S office has dropped all charges of murder.

(They all look at her and then look off as Maggie smiles as she keeps herself in Mickey's arms.)

Sidney: And he said he's sorry for your loss.
Maggie: Thank you.
Sidney: You're welcome.

(She walks over to the couch and sits back down next to her wife who smiles at her. As she leans her head against her shoulder. As they all sit there talking and their all thinking about the woman who just lost her life as they remain sitting there as Mark walks back in followed by Reagan and Kate who came here to be there for Mark and Raven's family. They just hope they can get through this. And if they can't they like to think they all know that they all have all of their friends around.

Three months later.

In San Diego.

At the hall of justice.

In Maggie's office.

(She's sitting down at her desk thinking about the case at hand. But quickly loses her train of thought when thoughts of her sister pop into her head and she quickly throws something across the office which gets

one of her colleagues to rush into the office and sees the look on her face.)

Sandra: Maggie!
Maggie: Fuck.

(She stands up and starts pasing the office as Mickey runs in and sees her there and sees the look on her face.)

Sandra: She's not doing so well.
Mickey: I know.

(She turns and walks out of the office and Mickey walks over to her.)

Mickey: Hey.
Maggie: God Mickey.

(She hugs him getting him smile a little at her.)

Mickey: I'm sorry baby.
Maggie: I know. I just. It's been three months since she was killed and they still don't have anything.
Mickey: I know. I know.
Maggie: In between me and Hayley and then Mark still not wanting to talk to anyone.
Mickey: That's because I think he still blames his friends for Raven's murder.
Maggie: I'd hate to say it. Babe but so do I.

(Mickey nods his head at her.)

Mickey: I hear ya. And I really can't blame you for what happened.
Maggie: I know. And thank you.
Mickey: You're welcome.
Maggie: I just.
Mickey: Hey.
Maggie: Yeah.

(Mickey looks at her feeling bad for her.)

Mickey: Can I ask you something?
Maggie: Yeah.
Mickey: Have you thought about moving back to La. Be closer to me and Hayley?
Maggie: I have.
Mickey: And?
Maggie: I just feel like if I leave here. I'll be doing back in LA is fighting Cardone for cases.
Mickey: Well have you ever thought about private practice?

(Maggie looks at him and smiles.)

Maggie: Andy actually asked me that. Not to long ago.
Mickey: And?
Maggie: I have thought about it. But then I'd be competing with you.
Mickey: Not really.
Maggie: Mickey come on.
Mickey: I'm not saying going out on your own is going to be easy. Because well it's far from it.
Maggie: I don't know. I just never thought of myself as a defense attorney.
Mickey: No. You always pictured being a Prosecutor the rest of your life?
Maggie: Yeah.
Mickey: Well. You could always run for DA.

(Maggie looks at him and laughs.)

Maggie: Yeah no. Not my thing.
Mickey: It isn't mine either.
Maggie: Something we both can agree on.
Mickey: Yeah. Anyway. I brought Hayley.
Maggie: Yeah.
Mickey: I figured you could use some time with us so.
Maggie: Oh wow. You have changed.
Mickey: I'm trying I really am.
Maggie: Well thank you.

(She kisses him then pulls away from him as someone knocks on the door getting them to turn to see who it is seeing Maggie walks over to him as she gets to he hugs her as their hugging Mark looks at Mickey

who smiles at him.)

Mark: You doing okay?
Maggie: No.
Mark: I hear ya.

(She pulls away from him.)

Maggie: How you doing?
Mark: I've been better.
Maggie: Yeah. Anything new?
Mark: No.

(She looks off annoyed.)

Mickey: Mark!
Mark: Yeah.
Mickey: You are right?
Mark: I've been better. I wish we still had Raven here.

(Mickey nods his head at him.)

Mark: Relax Mickey I'm not trying to steal your girlfriend.

(Mickey looks at him as Maggie's trying to keep from laughing.)

Mickey: Well his sense of humor is still in tacked.
Mark: Oh it's trying to be.

(Then he pulls someone out of the shadows getting him to laugh and Maggie looks at him.)

Mark: Didn't you know Mick it's against the law to leave animal's in the car.

(Golantz gets him in the stomach getting him to cough.)

Jeff: Asshole.
Mark: I know. Anyway. Mag's he's got something to tell you.
Maggie: Okay.
Jeff: Cardone is out.

(Maggie looks at him and then she looks at Mickey.)

Maggie: What you mean Cardone is out?
Jeff: It means he was also behind you being set up for the whole thing with the Soto case.

(Maggie looks at him and then to Mickey again whose looking just as surprised by this.)

Mickey: So what's that mean for her?

(Golantz looks at him and smiles.)

Jeff: Mickey Haller meet our new District Attorney.

(Maggie looks at him and then to Mickey who looks at her with a big grin on his face.)

Maggie: Oh my god.

(She hugs Mickey getting him to smile at her and Mark lightly pushes his friend getting him to look at him and nod his head at him.)

Mark: So what you say Mag's?
Maggie: Looks like I'm moving back to Los Angeles.

(They all nod their heads at her as she kisses Mickey who smiles in it then they pull away from each other.)

Three weeks later.

In Los Angeles.

At the Hall of Justice.

(Maggie's sitting down in her new office smiling to herself still not believing that she's in charge of the whole department as she's sitting there she's looking at the picture of her and Mickey and then to the picture

of her and Raven at her's and Mickey's first wedding still not believing she lost her sister and they still don't know who it. As she continues to look out of the window in the office someone knocks on the door

getting her to turn to see who it is and smiles when she sees her.)

Maggie: Hey honey.
Hayley: Hi Mom. I was told by dad to come and get you.
Maggie: Is that so.
Mickey: Traitor.

(Hayley starts laughing as he walks into the room as Andrea runs into the office.)

Maggie: Andrea!
Andrea: Mag's they finally got him.
Maggie: What?
Andrea: They found the person who killed Raven.
Maggie: Where?
Andrea: Kincaid and his partner have him down at their police station.

(She points at the television in the office and Mickey picks up the remote to see who it is once it's on their all watching the news to see who it was that killed her sister. As their watching the news and finally seeing

the person who killed her sister as they continue to watch the news Mark walks into the office followed by Reagan and Kate.)

Mark: What's going on?
Andrea: They finally caught the bastard who killed Raven.

(Mark looks at her and then over to the Television he walks over to Maggie and stands on the other side of her as they continue to watch the news.)

Reporter: Due to all of the information that we have. We still don't know what this man's motive was to kill Raven McPherson.

(Mark looks at Maggie who looks like she wants to kill the man who killed her sister.)

Mark: Mag's.

(Maggie looks at him and smiles.)

Reporter: Or weather District Attorney Maggie McPherson is going to comment on this story.

(They continue to watch as they go back to the news room.)

Maggie: Oh I have a comment.

(Mark and Mickey look at her trying to keep from laughing.)

Andrea: What you wanna do Maggie?
Maggie: Get down to the police station and talk Kincaid and partner.
Andrea: Okay. You don't want to handle this one?
Maggie: I could but. I'd wanna ring the son of a bitch's neck while in the courtroom with him.
Andrea: Okay. You gonna be that jokers attorney?
Mickey: Hell no.

(Andrea walks out of the office as Mickey looks at his girlfriend.)

Mickey: You are right?
Maggie: Yeah.
Mickey: Maggie!

(Maggie looks at him and laughs.)

Maggie: I'm not sure of how I feel at the moment.
Mark: I do. I'm gonna go and kill him.

(He goes to walk out but he gets stopped by Chad and Trevor as they walk into the office.)

Chad: Now Mark come on. At one point you two were friends.
Mark: And he killed my girlfriend.
Chad: Mark come on.
Mark: Wasn't he also trying steal back your fucken girlfriend at one point.

(Chad quickly backs off as Mark walks out of the office.)

Mickey: Him and that jackass were never friends.
Chad: I.
Mickey: You know. If you and your sister would learn to think before you open your damn mouths you would get a lot more respect from people.
Chad: I'm sorry okay.
Mickey: Really? Because your sister sure as hell wasn't sorry when she was trying to get my girlfriend sent prison for a crime she never did.

(Then he walks around him and heads off with Mark to go and talk to Kincaid.)

Maggie: You two can get the hell out of my office now.

(Trevor nods his head at her as they turn and walk out.)

An hour later.

At the police station.

(Mark walks in and heads for Kincaid's office. As he gets to his office he knocks on the door frame getting him to look up at him.)

Kincaid: Mark!
Mark: Hey man.
Kincaid: Hey. How you been?
Mark: I've been better.

(He nods his head at him.)

Kincaid: Given how you're here. I have a feeling you know about?
Mark: I do.
Kincaid: You're not allowed to kill him.
Mark: I know that. I just wanna see the face of the son of a bitch who killed my girlfriend.
Kincaid: Okay.

(He gets up and they walk out of his office and towards their holding cells.)

Mark: Has he said anything?
Kincaid: No. Which is making me wonder if he's actually the one who killed her.
Mark: Think he's being set up like Maggie was for the murder of Lankford and Erica Flynn?
Kincaid: This wouldn't really surprise me given how fast murder charges were brought up against him.)

(Mark looks at him and nods his head at him. As they reach where his cell is Mark looks in and sees him sitting there.)

Kincaid: You know him?

(Mark looks in more to see who it is.)

Mark: Can you look up for a minute?

(He does as he's asked and looks up Mark seeing who it is looks at Kincaid.)

Kincaid: Do you know him?
Mark: I do actually.
Kincaid: Who is that?
Mark: His names Cody Bell.
Kincaid: Okay.
Mark: And he's friends with Dante.

(Kincaid looks at him and then looks off annoyed.)

Kincaid: Shit.
Mark: He doesn't seem like the type to kill someone for no reason.
Kincaid: No he doesn't. That your name?
Cody: Yeah.
Kincaid: Why didn't you say anything when we brought you in?
Cody: If I had you guys would of been like the PCPD.
Kincaid: What?
Cody: You guys would of just said I did it. Because of what's going on with Sasha Gilmore.
Mark: What about Sasha?
Cody: Her mother in law is gambiling her money away and even sold her husband's garage in order to cover for her gambiling debt.
Mark: Who the hell is she in debt with?

(Cody looks at him and then to Kincaid but he looks back at Mark.)

Cody: Selina Woo.

(Mark looks at him and then looks off annoyed as he looks at Kincaid again.)

Mark: Shit.
Kincaid: Know her?
Mark: Yeah. She's been trying to take over Port Charles from Sonny.
Kincaid: And?
Mark: She hasn't so far.
Kincaid: Damn it.
Mark: Why you even in LA?
Cody: I wanted to get away from Port Charles for awhile.
Mark: Why?
Cody: I had told Dante about what Gladys was doing.
Mark: And he didn't believe you did he?
Cody: No.
Mark: Some friend he is.

(They start laughing at him as his phone goes off. Mark grabs it out to see who it is.)

Kincaid: Who is it?
Mark: It's Dante.

(He answers it.)

Mark: I sure hope you can tell me what the hell your friend is doing in LA?
Dante: Mark!
Mark: And when the hell were you guys planning on telling me about what the hell Gladys is doing to Sasha.

(Dante puts his head down.)

Mark: It's amazing.
Dante: What?
Mark: How quickly you become a prick when you get together with Jason Morgan's ex wife.

(Then he hangs up with him as he looks at Cody.)

Mark: Maggie sent Andrea Freeman here.

(Kincaid nods his head at him.)

Mark: Have you questioned him?
Kincaid: About Raven's murder?
Mark: Yeah.
Kincaid: No.
Mark: Okay.
Cody: Who the hell is Raven?

(Mark and Kincaid look at him.)

Mark: She was Maggie McPherson's twin sister. She was killed three months ago.

(Cody looks at him and then looks off annoyed.)

Cody: I was nowhere near the LA area three months ago.
Mark: You were still in Port Charles?
Cody: I was.
Mark: Shit.

(He grabs out his phone and calls Maggie.)

Kincaid: You are right?
Mark: Just not looking forward to having this conversation with a woman whose still no where near close to having answers.
Kincaid: Yeah.

(Then the phone picks up.)

Maggie: Hey what's up?
Mark: Yeah we've got a problem.
Maggie: What?
Mark: The person whose being accused of killing Raven is Cody Bell.

(Maggie looks off annoyed.)

Maggie: He's a friend of Dante's right?
Mark: Yeah. Although Dante hasn't really been a very good friend.

(Maggie sits down trying to keep from losing it.)

Maggie: Has Andrea gotten there yet?
Mark: Not I'm aware of.
Maggie: Okay. Well when she shows up see if she can't get anything out of him. Maybe he'll know who did kill her.
Mark: Okay. I'm sorry Mag's.
Maggie: It's are right. I mean it's not. But we all know.
Mark: Yeah.

(They say their goodbyes as Mark puts his phone away and leans over trying to keep from losing after learning they still don't have the person who took Raven from them.)

Mark: FUCK.

(He turns and walks off.)

Outside of the police station.

(Mark walks out and starts punching the wall knowing it won't do anything to help find the person who had killed Raven as he continues to beat on someone runs up to him and grabs him getting him to turn to see

who it is seeing who it is he finally loses it as she quickly hugs him.)

Over at the Hall of Justice.

In Maggie's office.

(She's looking out of the window as Mickey walks back in and sees her standing there.)

Mickey: Hey.

(Maggie turns and looks at him seeing the look on her face he walks over to her and she quickly hugs him. Then she pulls away from him as he leans against her desk while still holding her hand.)

Maggie: The person whose in the holding cell the police station is Cody Bell.

(Mickey looks at her and then looks off annoyed. Only to become even more annoyed with Maggie tells him next.)

Maggie: Mickey he's not the one who killed Raven.
Mickey: What?
Maggie: At the time of Raven's murder he was still in Port Charles.
Mickey: So this is another frame job.
Maggie: Yeah. And I'm still no where close to finding out who had killed my sister.

(Mickey looks at her as he pulls her closer to him and stands up to hugs her again as their hugging he kisses her head then pulls away from it.)

Maggie: I just. I thought if they at least had someone we could finally put Raven's murder to bed. But.
Mickey: I know.

(Maggie sits down next to him rubbing her eyes trying to keep from losing it.)

Maggie: I just want the son of a bitch who killed my sister caught.
Mickey: Yeah I know.
Maggie: But the longer this takes to find them. Me and Mark aren't ever going to get the justice we want. Hayley's gonna have to deal with the fact that the person who killed her aunt is still out there somewhere. I just. I don't know if I can continue to deal with this.

(Mickey looks at her and starts getting the wrong Idea into his head and goes voice it until Maggie looks at him and sees the look on his face then stands up to look at him.)

Maggie: No no. Mickey honey.

(She kisses him then pulls away from him.)

Maggie: I'm not breaking up with you again.
Mickey: Oh thank god.

(Maggie kisses him again as their kissing he smiles in it then she pulls away from him.)

Maggie: I'm done with the back and forth. I want this.
Mickey: Okay. So what can't you do anymore?
Maggie: I can't keep up the hope that we're going to finally find the bastard who killed my sister.
Mickey: Oh.
Maggie: As much as I want justice for the murder of my sister. The longer the prick remains out on the loose i feel like we're never going to get it.
Mickey: I know that.
Maggie: I just wanna catch him Mickey. I want my sister's killer to be brought to justice.

(Mickey stands up and kisses her then pulls away from her.)

Mickey: We are going to finally find the son of a bitch who killed Raven and when we do. I'm very sure Mark is gonna make to where this person won't ever see the light of day again.
Maggie: Not something I was hoping to hear you say as DA.
Mickey: And just as Raven's sister?
Maggie: It's a start.

(Mickey smiles at her as she hugs him again. Over the next serval days with Mark and Maggie both still on the upset that it was that Cody Bell didn't turn out to be the one who killed and taken Raven from them.

With their search continuing for who killed her their friends and their families are starting to worry about them and can see how close their getting if even just as friends. Mickey still can't help but get jealous with

just how close they've gotten. Because with them getting so close he's worried he's gonna lose the love of his life again and is hoping he doesn't. But to due to Mark realizing how Mickey's acting talks to him and

tells him that he'll keep up the search on his own. Which Mickey tells him not to cut Maggie out of the search.)

Mark: Dude your telling me you're getting jealous over how close we've gotten and how you're afraid to lose Maggie again. But yet you don't want me to cut her out of the search.
Mickey: Raven was her sister.
Mark: Yeah I know she was. But she was my girlfriend. And you're telling me.
Mickey: I know what I'm saying I do. I love Maggie more than anything. I'm glad we're finally doing this again. It's just if you cut her out of this.
Mark: I know that.
Mickey: I'm just saying. Stop working on this so much. The clues will finally fall into place.
Mark: They haven't yet.
Mickey: Because you two are working endlessly day and night through the fucken nights. You two are barely sleeping. I barely get to see Maggie. Hayley hasn't even been able to spend time with her. Because she's with you at the office trying to figure out who killed her sister. And it's not healthy for either one of you. Mark I get it you loved her and want to find the person who killed her. But you need to do something other then worry about who killed her. Let the police do the investigating.
Mark: Right because they've done such a bang up job before.
Mickey: I'm not saying that their perfect. God knows they aren't. But you two are killing yourselves trying to find out who killed Raven. I'd hate to it Mark but.
Mark: What?
Mickey: But nothing you two do will bring her back.
Mark: I'm aware of that. It's just it's been four months Mickey and we still don't know who did it.
Mickey: I know.
Mark: I just. I keep waking up every morning hoping to see her lying next to me. I keep hoping that this is a fucken nightmare and when I wake up she'll be lying next to him.

(Mickey looks at him and feels bad for him knowing he's going through this.)

Mickey: Mark!
Mark: I want her back man. And I know that'll never happen.
Mickey: I know you do.
Mark: I loved her. It hurts like hell knowing I'll never see her again. I know Maggie's more an likely going through the same hell.
Mickey: She is. I'm worried Mark.
Mark: Yeah I know.
Mickey: She loved her sister and knowing that whoever killed her took her from you two. Kills her.
Mark: I know. We all miss her.
Mickey: We do. All I'm asking is that.
Mark: Yeah. No i hear ya. I'll back off.
Mickey: Okay. That's all I'm asking.
Mark: Yeah I know that.

(He smiles at him. After his talk with Mickey Mark went talked to Maggie who surprisingly agreed with him and they both walked away from each other so that Maggie could spend time with her family and try to get

some sleep. After weeks of looking the police had finally figured out just who it was that killed Raven and Griggs quickly went to find Mark and Maggie.)

Over at the Hall of the justice.

In Maggie's office.

(Both her and Mark are in there talking and joking around as Mickey walks in to see her.)

Mickey: Hey.

(Maggie looks up at him and smiles at him.)

Maggie: Hey babe.
Mickey: Hey. I love that beautiful smile.

(Maggie looks at him and laughs as he gets to her and kisses her as their kissing Mark smiles at them and then looks off still trying to get over losing the woman he loves. Then they pull away from each other.)

Maggie: Hi.
Mickey: Hi. How you feeling?
Maggie: I'm getting there.
Mickey: Okay. Anyway. I was coming by to see if I could kidnap you for a little bit.
Mark: Uh-oh. He's gonna kidnap his own girlfriend.
Maggie: I know.
Mickey: Shut up.

(Mark laughs at him.)

Maggie: Yeah sure honey. What you have in mind?
Mickey: Lunch with me and then maybe something else.

(Maggie looks at him and smiles as she kisses him again then pulls away from him.)

Maggie: I can do something else.
Mickey: Yeah.
Maggie: Yeah. I love you.
Mickey: I love you too.

(He kisses her again then pulls away from her.)

Mickey: You ready?
Maggie: Yeah.

(She gets up and grabs her jacket to walk out of the office as Griggs runs into the office.)

Mickey: Griggs!
Griggs: Hey. We finally got the son of a bitch.

(They all look at him.)

Mark: What?
Griggs: We know who shot and killed Raven.

(Maggie nearly falls but both Mark and Mickey catch her as she leans against her desk.)

Mark: Who was it?
Griggs: Before I tell you guys this. There's something else you need to know before hand.
Mark: Okay.
Griggs: It involves your friends mother and her boyfriend.
Mark: Drew and Carly?
Griggs: Yes.
Maggie: What about them?
Griggs: The person who turned them in for insider trading was Nina Reeves.

(Mark looks at him and then to Maggie who looks off annoyed.)

Mark: Son of a.

(Mark looks off annoyed.)

Mark: God I knew something was off with the way Nina's been acting lately.

(Mickey and Maggie look at him as he sits down again.)

Mickey: Why would she turn them in for insider trading?
Mark: Because she wants what Carly has.
Maggie: She wants her life her family.
Mark: She does. She are ready took her husband and her hotel.
Maggie: Not she wants her kids and grandchildren.
Mark: Yeah. When did she put in this call to the SEC?
Griggs: Well according what I found. It wasn't actually her who put in the call.
Mark: Who was it?
Griggs: Her lawyer?

(Mark looks at him and then looks off trying to keep from laughing.)

Maggie: Martin Gray put in the call to the SEC?
Griggs: Yes. According to the agent I talked to. He said he was putting in this call for his client.
Mark: He's got a lot of clients.
Maggie: Yeah but Nina is the one would of wanted Carly out of the way the most.
Mark: Shit.
Mickey: When was the call made?
Griggs: During the time Willow Corinthos was fighting for her life.

(Mark looks at him and then looks off. Then he looks at Mickey and Maggie and it hits Mark as to why Raven killed.)

Mark: Griggs!

(Griggs looks at him.)

Mark: Who killed my girlfriend?

(Griggs looks at him and then to Maggie who looks like she's about to lose it.)

Girggs: We had been looking into why she was killed and we figured out why and the who did it.

(Mark looks at him trying not to lose it again.)

Mark: Griggs please tell us who killed Raven?
Griggs: Raven's murder was hit.

(Mark puts his head still trying to keep from losing it.)

Griggs: We believe Raven had been looking into who had turned in Drew and Carly to the SEC and when she got close to figuring it out.

(Mark looks at Maggie who looks like she's ready to go and kill Nina for what she did.)

Maggie: Griggs tell me that bitch didn't put out a fucken hit on my sister all because she was getting close to figuring out Nina's secret?
Griggs: I'm afraid that's what happened Maggie.

(Maggie finally loses it but Mickey quickly grabs her and she hugs him as Mark throws a chair across the office pissed off for what Nina did to his friends family and for what she did to Maggie to him and to

Hayley.)

Mark: That bitch.

(Mark quickly leaves office to go after Nina himself for what she did in order to keep her secret safe.)

Hours later.

In Port Charles, NY.

At the Metro court.

(Mark walks in and heads for the elevators as he gets to them he pushes for it come down and get him.)

Minutes later.

(He gets off of the elevator and rushes towards Nina's office as he gets there he can hear her in the office talking with Michael and opens the door and slams it shut getting them both to turn and look at him.)

Mark: You bitch.

(Nina looks at him suddenly afraid for her life.)

Nina: Mark!
Mark: Did you honestly think we wouldn't find out?
Nina: I.
Michael: Mark!
Mark: She had Raven killed.

(Michael looks at him and then he looks at his new step mother whose looking at Mark as he joined by Maggie who has that same look on her face.)

Nina: Mark! Maggie!

(Mark pulls his gun out puts it to her forehead.)

Mark: Give me one fucken good reason I shouldn't make Sonny a fucken widower?

(Nina looks at him and knows he'll pull the trigger.)

Nina: Mark I'm sorry.
Mark: You killed my girlfriend. My bestfriends sister. And for what? To keep your fucken secret about you blowing the fucken whistle on Carly and Drew?

(Nina stands there not sure of what to say to either one of them.)

Mark: You were watching the hell Maggie's family was going through due to her being accused of murders she never did. You sat and watched as Ned was getting the blame for what you did. And just when Raven is getting closer and closer to figuring out who was behind turning in Carly and Drew for insider trading you go and have her FUCKEN KILLED.

(Nina looks at him and knows he wants to pull the trigger.)

Nina: Mark I'm sorry.
Mark: You had the woman I love killed all so you could keep your boy toy. You took away Maggie's sister. Hayley's aunt all so you could keep Sonny. Who in all honesty can do better then some fucken home wecker.

(He keeps the gun on Nina as Maggie's got her hands balled into fists getting ready to attack her.)

Nina: I.
Mark: You know in a time like this. I really do wish there was fucken psycho out there wearing a fucken Ghostface mask.

(Nina looks at him in shock at his threat.)

Nina: Mark!
Mark: You took away the woman I love you took away Maggie's sister you took away Hayley's aunt. You have been lying for fucken months about what you did. And while doing it. You have been letting Ned take the fucken fall. So please tell me Nina why shouldn't I pull this trigger?

(Nina looks at him as she looks at Michael who looks just as pissed off at her for what she did Mark to Maggie and to her family.)

Nina: If you hurt me then Sonny will come for you.

(Mark digs the gun deeper into her getting her to whine in pain from the feel of the gun in her chest.)

Mark: Do you honestly think Sonny scares me? Huh?

(Nina looks at him.)

Mark: At this point in my fucken life. Not even the person behind the fucken Ghostface mask scares me.

(He keeps the gun where it is.)

Mark: You know it's not even worth killing you. I know karma will one day will come back to bite your ass in the end. Me and Maggie will be there the day it happens. And if Ghostface ever does show his face again. I'll be routing the killer on.

(Then he lowers the weapon as he hits her in the face with it sending her over.)

Mark: One of these days Nina all of your crimes will come back to hunt your crazy ass. I just hope you're willing to lose what's close to you.

(Nina looks at him as he kneels down next to her and puts the gun to her head.)

Mark: Because If I've learned anything over the years about Ghostface is that whoever wears the mask doesn't play fair.

(Then he stands up and fires at the floor getting her to jump and looks next to her.)

Mark: See it as a warning.

(Then he turns and walks out of the office followed by Maggie. As they walked out of the office Michael just stood there just as angry at Nina for what she did and knows that if Ghostface does show himself in Port

Charles he knows who to blame for it. But if what Mark said is true about someday there being a chance of Ghostface showing up in Port Charles he's gonna have to keep an extra close on his wife and his kids

because he doesn't wanna lose either one of them all thanks to Nina. He just hopes if he does shows his face here in Port Charles it isn't anytime soon. But what him and Nina didn't know is that Ghostface is a lot

closer then they think and Nina better watch her back. Because he's coming and he's coming for her.

Two weeks later.

In Gotham.

At Mark's Penthouse.

(He's out on the balcony thinking about the woman he lost. As he's thinking he flashes back to the day he saw and told Raven how he felt about her after spending so much time with her.)

Flashback to. A year ago.

In San Francisco.

At Raven's.

(Mark walks up to the house and knocks on the door as he's waiting for her to answer he continues to think about what he wants to say to her. Then the door opens and he sees her. Seeing her he walks into the

house and kisses her as their kissing she pulls him into the house and closes the door once it's closed. She leans him against the door with him leaned up against the door she reaches between them and starts

opening his shirt as she gets to the final button she pushes it off of him once it's off he throws it to the floor as it hits the floor he pushes off of the door as they get to the stairs he picks her up and they both go

up the stairs to her room as they get there they pull away from each other as he takes her shirt off and throws it to the floor as it hits the floor they both walk into the room and he closes the door once it's closed

they both walk over to the bed and fall back onto it as they land on the bed he starts kissing down her chest to her torso to her stomach as he gets to her stomach he starts kissing around it to her bellybutton

getting her to lean into his lips as he's kissing on it as his kiss on it continues he sticks his tongue in there getting her to start breathing heavy as he continues to move his tongue around inside of it Raven starts

running her hands through his hair.)

Raven: Oh god Mark.

(He smiles in his kiss on it then he pulls away from it and starts kissing back up her stomach to her torso as he gets to her chest as he gets to it he starts kissing around it.)

Raven: Mark!
Mark: (In the kiss) You're so beautiful Raven.
Raven: Thank you.
Mark: (In the kiss) This feels so good to do.
Raven: Yes it does. God Mark.

(He pulls away from her chest and kisses her again as their kissing he moves against her middle as he's moving against her middle she moans in the kiss as she reaches between them and opens both his belt and

his pants once their open he does the same thing once their pants are open Mark pulls away from her and gets off of her once he's off he takes his shoes and socks off once their off and his pants along with his

boxers he throws them to the floor once their on the floor he pulls her's down and off of her once their off he throws them to the floor as they hit the floor he gets back on top of her and leans and looks at her.)

Mark: I'm in love with you?

(Raven looks at him and smiles.)

Raven: I'm in love with you too.
Mark: Yeah.
Raven: Yeah. I love you Mark.
Mark: I love you too.

(He leans in and kisses her again as their kissing he deepens it as their deepened kiss continues he moves against her middle getting her to moan in the kiss. As he continues to move against her middle getting

(Mark's got his head down trying to keep from losing.)

I hate her for turning Carly and Drew in. I just hate her Raven. I want you back. But I know It'll never happen. I hope you're happy wherever you are honey. I love you.
Voice: Mark!

(Mark turns to see who it is seeing who it is he laughs at him.)

Mark: Hey.
Kincaid: Hey. I heard about your girlfriend.
Mark: Yeah. Fucken Nina Reeves had her killed all because she started to figure out who was behind Turning in Carly and Drew for Insider trader.

(Kincaid looks at him and feels bad for him.)

Kincaid: I'm sorry man.

(Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: I know you are.
Kincaid: You know Nina and Sonny would both tell you to move on right?
Mark: Yeah I know that. But it's easy for them to say. They have each other.

(They both start laughing as Mark's phone goes off. He grabs it out to see who it is. Seeing the number he laughs and answers it.)

Mark: I was starting to wonder when you'd call me.

(The person on the other end is trying to keep from laughing.)

Ghostface: What's your favorite scary movie Mark?

(Mark's trying to keep from laughing.)

Mark: How about the one where I don't beat up my bestfriend for pulling this prank.

(Kincaid looks at him confused until he sees Reagan then starts laughing.)

Kincaid: Oh my god.
Reagan: Hi.
Mark: Hi.

(He hangs up.)

Reagan: I was just coming to see how you're doing?
Mark: I've been better.
Reagan: Yeah I know. I'm sorry Mark.
Mark: Why it's not your fault Raven's dead. Just Nina's.

(Reagan smiles at him.)

Mark: I'm sorry Reagan.
Reagan: Why?
Mark: I haven't really been the greatest friend lately.

(Reagan walks over to him and hugs him getting him to smile at her as he hugs her he's trying not to lose it until he sees KJ there. Then he pulls away from her and looks at KJ.)

Mark: Hey.
KJ: Hi.
Mark: I'm sorry.

(KJ looks at him as she runs over to him as she gets to him he picks her up and kisses her head then pulls away from it. As he continues to hold her.)

KJ: I love you uncle Mark.
Mark: I love you too sweet girl.

(KJ pulls away from him.)

KJ: You still mad at my mommies?

(Mark looks at her and smiles at her.)

Mark: No sweet girl I'm not mad at your moms. I never really was.
KJ: Why you no go and see them?

(Mark looks at Kate who smiles at him as he walks over to the couch and sits down on it. Once he's seated he looks at her.)

Mark: I lost someone very close to me. And instead of taking it out on the person who was behind her getting killed.
KJ: What?
Mark: I took it out on two of my best friend's.
KJ: Oh. You miss Aunt Raven?

(Mark looks at her and smiles as he kisses her head then pulls away from it.)

Mark: Yeah I miss her so much.
KJ: The bad lady is never going to pay is she?
Mark: Not as long as Sonny believes she can't do no wrong.

(He looks at both Kate and Reagan who look at him feeling bad for him.)

KJ: It's not fair.
Mark: What isn't?
KJ: Aunt Raven's dead and her killer is still out there.

(Mark looks at her and then at Kate and Reagan.)

Mark: No it's not.

(He kisses her head then pulls away from it as Sidney and the others walk off of the elevator and over to them.)

Sidney: Hey.

(Mark looks up at her and smiles at her.)

Mark: Hey Sid.
Sidney: Hey.
Mark: You are right?
Sidney: I have an idea. I wanted to run by you. If you're interested.

(Mark looks at her and nods his head at her.)

Mark: Why don't you go over to mommy.
KJ: Okay.

(She gets off of his lap as he gets up and walks off with Sidney as they walk off they walk into the area where the elevator is at. He turns and looks at her.)

Mark: What's up?
Sidney: I know I wasn't the biggest fan of Raven.
Mark: No you weren't.
Sidney: And I am sorry for that. I know how much she meant to you.
Mark: She meant a lot to me. And you weren't very friendly to her.
Sidney: I know that. And I wish I could take it back. I do.
Mark: Okay.
Sidney: I'm sorry Mark.

(Mark looks at her and smiles at her.)

Mark: I won't lie and say it's okay. Because it's not. I loved her Sid. I still do. And all you Could do was put her down along with Mindy and Chad.
Sidney: I knew I was. I didn't know about Chad and Mindy.
Mark: I didn't either until about two days ago.
Sidney: Shit. Well I'm not apologizing for them.
Mark: I'm not expecting you too.
Sidney: Okay.
Mark: It's just I really wanted at least one of my friends to like her. And you couldn't even do that.

(Sidney looks at him and then looks off feeling even worse for how she treated Raven while she was alive.)

Mark: You're one of my best friend's Sid. I just wanted you to try and get along with her. That's all I wanted.
Sidney: I know. Like I said If I could take it back I would.

(Mark nods his head at her.)

Mark: Yeah I know you would.
Sidney: There is a way for you and Maggie to get Nina if Michael continues to keep his mouth shut about what she did.
Mark: What's that?

(Sidney pulls something out of her pocket and hands it to him. Seeing what it is he looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Sid you can't be serious?
Sidney: I'm very serious.
Mark: Why?
Sidney: Scare her, make her wish she never messed with you and with Maggie.
Mark: Sid Maggie is the District Attorney now.
Sidney: I know. Why do you think I wanna keep her out of this?

(Mark looks at her and laughs as he looks down at the two items in his hands as he looks up at his ex.)

Mark: I want you to stay out of this as well.
Sidney: Okay. Who are you gonna get to help you?
Mark: The other person who hates Nina as much as I do.

(Sidney smiles at him again.)

Sidney: Okay.
Mark: Okay. I swear if you weren't married I'd kiss you.

(They start laughing then calm down as Mark calls him.)

Voice: Hello!
Mark: Hey you got a minute?

(They say they do and Mark walks off to go and talk to them. As he walks off Sidney walks back over to everyone and talk to them.)

Sidney: Hey.
Kirby: Hey babe. Where's Mark?
Sidney: Had to make a call real quick.
Kirby: Okay. Did you?
Sidney: Yeah. He wants us to stay out of it.

(Kirby nods her head at her.)

Kirby: I get it.
Sidney: So do I.

(Kirby kisses her then pulls away from her as KJ plops herself in between Sidney and Kirby getting them to laugh at her.)

Kirby: What?
KJ: Gross. Mommies their being gross.

(Kate and Reagan start laughing as Mark walks back into the room after hiding the two items Sidney had given him. As he gets to them. KJ looks at Mark who smiles at her and grabs her up and puts her over his

head getting her to laugh at him.)

Mark: Super KJ.

(KJ starts laughing then calms down as he flies her over to Maggie who starts laughing at him as he hands KJ over to her once she has her she kisses her head then pulls away from it as KJ plays with her face

getting her to laugh.)

Mark: I think KJ finds Maggie pretty.

(Kate and Reagan start laughing then calm down as she grabs onto Maggie's boobs. Getting her to look down at her.)

Maggie: Hey.

(KJ looks up at her)

KJ: What?
Maggie: Those are mine.
KJ: I know.
Maggie: I don't think my boyfriend would take too kindly to this.
KJ: That's okay. Mine.

(They start laughing at Maggie's face.)

Maggie: Damn.

(They continue to laugh at her.)

Meanwhile,

In Port Charles.

At the Metro Court.

In Nina's office.

(Nina's in her office working on some paperwork as her phone goes off. She reaches over for it once she has it she sees the number and gets confused but answers it anyway.)

Nina: Hello!
Ghostface: Hello Nina.

(Nina looks up when she hears the voice of the person whose been haunting Mark and his friends for years. But wonders why he's calling her and not them.)

Nina: Who the hell is this?
Ghostface: Your worst nightmare.

(She looks around the office.)

Nina: What you want?
Ghostface: You ready to play a game of whose gonna tell your husband about what you did to his family?

(Nina continues to look around the office.)

Ghostface: Because if you are. So am I. Because guess what Reeves-Corinthos?
Nina: What?
Ghostface: I'm back bitch and Looking forward to fucking with you.

(Then the phone hangs up as Nina throws her phone down and looks around the office suddenly afraid for her life.)

Nina: NO.

Back over in Gotham.

At Mark's Penthouse.

In the living room.

(Kate and Reagan are still there with KJ whose having fun joking around with Mickey by calling Maggie her's. Which gets him to look at his girlfriend whose to busy laughing to say anything.)

Mickey: Now this is just wrong.

(KJ laughs at him as he walks up to Maggie and kisses her getting her to smile in it then he pulls away from her.)

Mickey: I love you.
Maggie: I love you too. You're acting like you're jealous babe.
Mickey: I am. She's trying to steal my woman.

(He goes after KJ and starts tickling her getting her to start laughing. As he continues he gets help from Mark and Trevor as they continue to tickle poor KJ Mark's phone goes off he stops what he's doing to grab

out his phone to see who it is. Seeing the number he laughs and mutes it as he looks at Maggie.)

Maggie: You are right?
Mark: You know for the first time in five months I'm doing just great.

(Maggie smiles at him as he goes after her getting her to quickly get up to run away only to be quickly caught by Mark and they both fall to the floor and he tickles her getting her to laugh at him and she realizes

how close they are and Mark quickly backs away from her before Mickey notices. But it isn't quick enough knowing that both Olivia and Jill saw it.)

Mark: Don't.
Olivia: What? We're just coming to help.
Maggie: No.

(She gets up and runs off with them both behind her. Through out the rest of the afternoon they all spend time together and joke around with them slowly getting back to the way things are after the truth about

who had killed Raven came out and to Mark starting to talk to both Kate and Reagan again. Their all looking forward to finally getting things back to normal well as normal as things can be. That is.
