Chapter Text
I was running. Running way faster than I ever thought I could! "Aghh!!" I looked behind me to see more of these Crazy bug-like monsters! "Aghhh!!!" I screamed. I pumped my burning legs as fast as I could. My mouth was dry and my lungs stung. Ugh! Why me!? I thought running out of stamina. I was starting to slow down with my heart pounding against my chest. I looked behind me again. Oh, thank god! I thought that was the end for me. I said in a pant. I turned my head back around. Aghh! I started to run away again. How did they end up in front of me so fast after I lost them behind me?! I thought. My muscles were scorching and sweat dripped down my face. What do I do! They just keep chasing me!! I felt my foot hit a rock and slip. "Aghhh!!!" I yell as I slid down a hill. Great now I’m in a ditch! I thought. I hear the monsters sliding down the hill. "Ugh!" How long are they gonna keep this up! I thought. I got back up and continued to run. As I ran I saw some creepy human-like holes on the side of a cliff. "Well, that isn’t creep-!" There were huge spider-looking machines stuck to the sides of the wall. What the heck is this place! I thought. I look behind me. "Ahh!" I screamed. there still chasing me! I thought.
I ran down a long trail in between the cliffs. I started to pant, losing energy. I tried not to slow down but it was no use. I fell to the ground shaking. I groan looking behind me. Sh**! I thought, trying to push my arm up. My muscles ached as I got up and continued running at a slower pace. Breathing started to become difficult and my throat burned. I gaze down the path. No! No! No! I said realizing the trail led to a dead end. I tried to push myself to climb the cliff but it was no use. I was too weak from running. I turned around with my back against the wall. The monsters eased towards me with dripping jaws. I put my weak arms up ready to fight. One of the creatures snapped its jaws as more drool pooled from its mouth. They continued to move towards me pushing me further against the wall. I squinted my eyes thinking this was the end of the road for me, But nothing happened. I eased my eyes open in confusion. The creatures were running away whining like a dog. I let out a heavy breath as I slid down the wall and rested my sore body.
My brief moment of relief was interrupted by the sound of creaking metal. I looked up and saw one of the spider-like machines slipping from its grasp. "Ahh!" I yelled as I jerked myself up. I started a sprint but was met by the sound of it disconnecting from the rock. I tried to run faster but it was difficult with my worn-out body. The machine hit the ground knocking me over while crashing into a million pieces with chunky magenta ooze spraying every wear. Luckily for me, I only got hit with the red gunk but it still felt kinda gross. "What is this... ?" I said looking at the ooze. I hope I can find my way back home. I thought. Pushing myself back up, I began to walk back the way I think I came. While I was walking I looked at the strange scenery. What is this place? Is it some weird coal mine? I thought. I looked at the human-shaped holes as I walked. I touched some of the rocks and looked in some of the holes. I’m starting to believe that this is either a dream or some kind of cruel underground business. I thought, horrified. Before I could make anything of this place a sharp pain pierced through my skull. "Aghh!" I hissed as I grabbed the side of my head. I rubbed my temples to ease the throbbing. There was another wave of sharp pain. I fell to my knees as I gripped my head again with gritted teeth. Why does my head hurt all of the sudden?! I thought forcing myself back to my feet.
My vision started to get blurry. I squinted my eyes as they began to tear up. What’s happening? I thought starting to limp. I tried to continue walking but I Tripped on my own feet. "Agh!" I wail as I scraped my hands and knees. I tried to push myself back up but I was too weak. Somethings wrong. I thought. My forehead started to sweat, my back ached and I felt a strange tingly sensation on my neck. I groaned as my body collapsed on itself. I was starting to grow weaker and weaker by the second. I squinted my burning eyes as my vision became very blurry. I laid there on the ground sobbing praying this nightmare will be over. My mouth began to drool and my heavy teary eyes still burned from sweat. I Felt my thoughts begin to fall apart as my brain began to die with me. My wet eyes slowly drifted close as my mind began to go blank. As I laid there I started to feel more faint as my migraine was drilling a hole into my skull. I laid there motionless as finally, My brain shut down into nothing but black.
