Chapter 1: Loud

Chapter Text

your job definitely had its perks, like getting to play whatever music you felt like whenever you felt like it. Sometimes it didn't always work in your favor. “Excuse me?” that's what finally had your attention turning your head you came face to face with a not too pleased man. “Oh uh, how can I help” the kindest voice you could muster, though it only gained you an eye roll and scoff “I need to find this” was all he said or last that's what you thought he said before showing you a picture on his phone. “Mmm okay give me a moment” walking from behind the counter to the main floor you realized ‘He doesn’t even know the name’ Turing back to him opened your mouth but before anything could be said you were cut off “Before you ask, I don’t know what it is...My friend said to get it” holding back a laugh you just smiled “Well does the name Angelite ring a bell?” he only nodded before following you.

When the two of you made it to the Angelite you both just kinda stood there, and well you looked just as confused as you but for completely different reasons, “You can pick whichever you would like though size, shape, and polish affects the price.” His face of confusion now shifted to one of frustration before grabbing his phone and calling someone.
“Ganyu what did you want….why would I pick it's not my rock...What do you mean just pick one, like I said it's not my rock, crystal, whatever”
Turing back to you he looked up to you, “What one would you get, she won't tell me” This shocked you who send someone who obviously doesn't know anything about crystals to get a crystal? “Uuh well..Hmm, This one” In your hands was a smooth palm-sized baby blue crystal “I actually own one quite similar” He looked at the polished stone for a little before looked back to you “Okay then, I don't see why she wouldn't like it” nodding you walk back to the counter the wrap and bag the Angelite ``I'm assuming that's all?” Only to receive no answer but a credit card instead, without hesitation you swiped his card and handed his bag to him. Before he had walked out the door he turned back to you “Turn you music down next time, you'll have someone go deaf with how loud it is' ' before walking out the door.
