take a hint

Summary:

Many people would say that Bonten members are the worst people on the planet. Takemitchy disagrees with that. Because, even if there aren’t many rules that they follow, there’s one rule that they never break.

And if they do, they’re not alive long enough to figure out what they’ve done wrong.

Alternatively: Everyone hates men that assault people and Takemichi takes the trash out.

Notes:

big trigger warning here. they talk about r*pe, amongst other things.

sorry that it took me a while to get this out, but school just started 3 weeks ago and i had to do a lot of stuff :(

Work Text:

Takemichi lets out a loud sigh from where he’s sitting on the couch. He was just woken up ten minutes ago by Sanzu telling him he’d have to meet with some guy that’s interested in doing business with Bonten.

And if that’s not Takemichi’s least favorite thing to do. Meeting new business partners always sucks. Mikey doesn’t have the nerves to deal with them and he always ends up shooting the men before there’s even the chance of a deal being made. Therefore, Takemichi has to handle them now. He has the patience that Mikey doesn’t have.

And while it is good for business, it’s definitely nothing Takemichi enjoys. Because the men that Bonten works with are old, rich, fat, slimy men that don’t know when to keep their big fucking mouths shut. Men are pigs, especially in the world Bonten lives in.

The new ones are always the worst. They usually don’t know who Takemichi is, since he works from the shadows and he’s not really a public member. That’s their first mistake. Their second is touching Takemichi, saying disgusting things to him or trying to get him to have sex with them.

Now, usually, the dark haired man can deal with that, by making the other understand who he is with heavy violence. He never kills them though, that wouldn’t be good for business. He doesn’t want Bontent to lose any money, even though they have more than enough. You can never really have enough money.

There’s been times where Takemichi has attacked one of them with a fork, a kitchen knife, a bottle of wine from the table, a little pocket knife that was a gift from Sanzu— whatever works. Those disgusting men aren’t all that powerful in person. You’ll have them begging on their knees for forgiveness the moment there’s any real threat. They value their pathetic life so much, it’s almost funny.

But today, Takemichi is tired. He was out doing stuff for Bonten all night, only got back to the penthouse at 9:00AM and had only slept three hours in two days. His mood is horrible and he wants nothing more than to crawl into his bed and sleep for 48 hours straight.

The guy he has to meet apparently owns a couple clubs somewhere in the area and Bonten wants to buy them. He doesn’t know why the man asked to meet them in person — usually those kinds of things are done with a simple exchange of money and product. It’s rare that they actually meet someone that they just want to buy something from. It means the guy wants something in return. And that’s never good.

People really have the weirdest requests sometimes. You’d think that it would be beggars and street kids that routinely visit the hideout to ask if they could join Bonten or whatever. But in reality, the only people that actually come to visit them are people in high positions. Politicians, owners of big companies, even cops sometimes. When Takemichi had just joined, he was incredibly surprised to see how many corrupt cops were out there.

It’s good for them though. Bonten practically rules Japan now, because they have their hands everywhere. That doesn’t change the fact that those people are disgusting creatures.

”The gues will be here in ten minutes, Takemitchy.” Sanzu says and pats him on the head.

Takemichi hums. “What kind of man is he?”

Their conversation is interrupted for a moment because Ran is screaming at his brother. Takemichi can’t understand what he’s saying, but he has the stronge urge to walk over there and punch the other in the face. It takes a great amount of self control, but he’s able to hold himself back.

“He’s the worst kind of guy.” The pink haired man answers.

He doesn’t reply to that, he just stands up, walks over to Sanzu, pulls the gun out of the man’s pants and tucks it into his own. Takemichi’s own gun is in the drawer of his bedside table and he’s too lazy to go get it. Sanzu doesn’t even react, except for the little smile that crosses his face.

Exactly three minutes later, the doorbell rings. He assumes Ran or Rindou open it, because both of them walk into the living room with the man in between them seconds later.

Takemichi takes a good look at him. There’s really nothing special. He’s average height, weighs too much, has greasy, black hair and a clean shaved face. It’s the look on the guy’s face that makes Takemichi almost shoot him on the spot. Sanzu was right, it really is the type of person he hates the most.

Someone who thinks too highly of themselves. He can already tell that this man thinks he’s a god when in reality, he’s nothing but a little insect that Takemichi wants to squish. He really wants to punch that smug grin out of his face, but once again, he controls himself.

And then he swallows and shakes the man’s hand. He’s definitely going to shower for at least two hours later.

It’s not long until they are both seated in the dining room, a plate filled with food in front of them. It’s only been about thirty minutes and the guy has already made five jokes about sexually assaulting women. By now, Takemichi is only half listening and playing with the food. He’s not hungry anymore.

Bonten doesn’t have many rules. But there’s one that stands above them all— sexually assaulting anyone is forbidden. In Bonten, you can’t rape someone and expect to be alive the next day. Takemichi has killed several of their men for that specific reason.

He’s holding back right now because he knows that Mikey really wants those clubs that the guy owns. Otherwise, he would’ve been rotting away in a ditch long ago.

“I mean, if they didn’t want me to approach them, they shouldn’t have dressed in such tight and short clothes. I’m sure you can agree with me.” The man says. Takemichi is sure the guy told him his name, he just forgot.

He shrugs. “Why are you here?”

“You’re interested in my clubs, I’m interested in a spot in Bonten. I heard pretty cool things about you guys and I want to join.”

Ah, he really should’ve seen that one coming. Takemichi is sure he can hear Sanzu snort somewhere behind him, but he ignores the sound and leans forward a bit, looking at the man.

There’s still that smug grin on his face.

“Hm. What makes you special enough to join us?” He asks, his voice bored and uninterested.

The man seems to not know what to say to that, because his smile drops and he’s really quiet for a moment.

Takemichi can almost see the light bulb light up above the guy’s head. And of course, he opens his big mouth without thinking. “Well, I heard you guys do pretty bad shit, you know? And I thought, since I really want to do some cool stuff, I could join you. What makes me special? I have a lot of money, the clubs you want, and two women that I could give you. They do anything you want. Sometimes you have to force them a little, but I mean, that shouldn’t matter to you, right? You just gotta hit ‘em once or twice and they’ll suck your dick no problem. They like to complain and cry ‘bout it afterwards, so just make sure you make ‘em remember who you are after.”

Takemichi wipes his mouth with the handkerchief on the table and stands up. He doesn’t know why the man looks so happy, but he guesses he thinks Takemichi is going to be impressed with that.

“Sanzu, we’re done here.” He says and turns to walk away.

“H-Huh? But, we haven’t even made a deal yet!”

The dark haired man sighs and turns around again to look at the other. Takemichi sees him flinch under his gaze. Good. He should know that there’s a reason to be afraid.

Sanzu is suddenly by his side, placing a hand on Takemichi’s shoulder. There’s a manic grin on his face. Seems like he already knows what’s about to happen now. It’s not often that Takemichi simply walks away from a guest, but if he does, it’s always a promise for a very fun time.

“Bonten has no place for pigs like you.” Takemichi says.

The guy’s eyes widen. Sanzu thinks it looks ridiculous.

“Hah?! What the fuck are you talking about?!” The man yells back.

And there it is. The childish rage of someone who always got whatever he wanted and now has been denied something. Somehow, Takemichi really enjoys watching this man’s face crumble. He’s so angry that he turns red.

Maybe his head will explode before Takemichi even fires the first shot. Takeomi, who’s just been standing in a corner quietly, seems to think the same thing, because he chuckles after looking at their guest.

Takeomi is glad that Takemichi is doing something. As someone who used to have a little sister, men like that really piss him off. Just thinking about Senju being talked to like that makes him blood boild. Not that his little sister wouldn’t have been able to defend herself, but still.

“There’s not a single man in our organization that talks about women like you do. Do you know why that is, Mister?”

The Bonten executive gets dangerously close to the man’s face as he asks the question. It takes him a few seconds to understand that Takemichi is serious and is expecting an answer from him.

He stutters out a ‘no’. Sanzu laughs for real this time, because he can’t believe just how pathetic this man is. He was all big and mighty just mere seconds ago. Why’s he curling in on himself like a little kid now?

Takemichi takes out Sanzu’s gun and points it at the man. His lifeless eyes stare at him, unbothered by the fearful expression. “It’s because they’re dead before they have the chance.”

The guy jumps up so fast that his chair falls over. He tries to back away, but stumbles over the chair and lands on his ass. Ran laughs at him. It seems that he’s only realizing his mistake now, but it’s way too late for that.

“Do you know what happened to the last person that walked in here and proudly told the story of how he raped a woman? Takemitchy over here cut his dick off and made him eat it.” Sanzu points out. He picks a piece of meat up from Takemichi’s plate and shoves it into his mouth.

The man on the ground has tears in his eyes now. “P-please! I’ll do any-anything. Do you want money? You can have the clubs if you want them! Just let me go!”

The hope dies down the moment he looks into Takemichi’s dead eyes— he really doesn’t care about what happens to that guy.

“Is that how those poor girls begged you to stop?”

It’s clear that there’s no way out. No way are those guys letting him go again. He can see it in their eyes. They’re all crazy. He should’ve never asked to come here.

“I just lost my wife, alright?! I-I didn’t know what to do and I was so lost so I just- I just wanted to have control over something, anything!” His last resort is trying to gain sympathy.

Really, Takeomi doesn’t know why he tries. It’s clear that no one in this room gives a fuck about his sob story. He almost pities the guy for even thinking that way. Almost.

Takemichi sighs. “I’d tell you to go meet your wife, but you won’t be going where she is after you die.”

He places his finger on the trigger and the man closes his eyes, waiting for the shot. It doesn’t come though. And for a second, for a tiny second, he thinks they might have changed their minds.

“Killing him immediately isn’t enough of a punishment. Sanzu, take him to the house.”

The man starts crying at the same moment that Sanzu starts laughing.
