Chapter Text
Looking into the halls of the prestigious school called U.A. you'd see a lot of students walking out of the school as fast as possible. Amongst those students our main character is also walking, Fujin Yasuda, he was going to his part time job, he had recently gotten.
Fujin had a habit of using his quirk, Phantom he often found himself becoming translucent and phasing through other people without noticing it. Often enough people wouldn't mention it, but sometimes people would scare him out of his trance. Which often led him to fall, usually down a long flight of stairs. It wasn't any news that most of the time he had bruises or a broken leg.
So it had been a custom for recovery girl to see him every now and again, but today was looking good for Fujin, nobody had called him out or tried to trip him. He was sure he would make it out of the school before anyone could do anything to him. As he was walking down the stairs in a translucent form he would walk through the walls if someone was in the way, even in this form he didn't want to bump into anyone or cause attention to himself.
Fujin was near the exit when someone from his class shouted out to him. "Yasuda, dude you're in a translucent state again. Snap out of it". Fujin had heard it, had expected it even. But when they had shouted out, had tripped and he fell flat on his face. People from the business course laughed at him, mostly people from his class. He got up and started walking, some people were still laughing at him, he paid no mind.
He had never liked the people in his class, sure the business course was rough, mostly cause of all the stuff they needed to know. The business course often got careers in, well business, but often enough it was different kinds of businesses. Which left the classes to be a bit all over sometimes. With all the different kinds of business it was no wonder most of the kids that got into it were ruthless, they needed to be. Most of them would probably be really successful, Fujin maybe not so much. He wasn't exactly known for being the most confident or stubborn, he usually very often gave up when they had class debates. So naturally most of his classmates took advantage of that, they'd make him do their homework or make fun of him.
He never truly showed them how upset he sometimes got with them, but it probably wouldn't end to well. Sure most of them didn't have the most powerful quirks, but if most of them ganged up on him, well he'd be fucked.
Anyways he continued walking, making sure nobody else would scare him or try to trip him. He saw at least two other people planning on it but when they noticed he wasn't going translucent they didn't do anything.
He made it out without falling again, nobody ever followed him out so as soon he was out of U.A. grounds he'd be fine. So long as a villain didn't do anything but that rarely happens. Fujin was making his way to work, he works at a cafe that's combined with a library. It was one of the most relaxing places he knew of.
Entering the mall where the cafe was, Fujin instantly went out back and changed into his uniform. Fujin worked as a barista, usually the place wasn't very busy, but sometimes there'd be a lot of people. Even then they usually didn't order anything to drink until they had found a book they wanted to read or gotten their computer out.
Except for this one guy, he'd been on Fujins mind recently. He only really came to the cafe in the weekends, but he was always quiet and polite when he was there. Some of the other occupants would sometimes be loud and rowdy, but this guy was anything but that. Now Fujin hadn't really heard him speak all that much, only really whenever he'd order a coffee. The other occupants would sometimes send the guy weird looks, mostly because he would talk to himself. Fujin wasn't sure if it was a part of his quirk or if he just remembered things better after he had said it outloud.
Fujin was just thankful that it was Friday and he most likely wouldn't have to deal with a bunch of loud people.
