Admittedly, Francois wasn’t really the type to tease, but seeing Luna just flustered was too cute.
“I’m done with this side master Luna,” Francois commented.
They expected Luna to turn but Luna didn’t move. In fact, it had been a while since she had moved. Francois looked closer at Luna. She was asleep on their lap.
Cute
Francois lightly brushed their hand against Luna’s hair. It was like a light pink cloud. A sudden creek on the door took Francois’s eyes from Luna. In the doorway was Suika peeking in.
“Shhhh,” Francois raised their finger to their mouth. “Is there something you need master Suika?”
“Oh sorry, I just wanted a late snack,” Suika awkwardly mumbled.
“Ahh there is a snack on the counter,” Francois pointed to.
“Ohhh.. thank you,” Suika quickly took the snack and left.
“Of course,”
Francois changed their attention back to Luna resetting on their lap.
Maybe I should let her rest. At least for a bit.
Recently Francois had noticed how much Luna had been doing. Saying her line “I’m a capable gal,” all the while. Even helped out Taiju a few times with carrying things. Or well.. She tried to help. Francois found it enduring . Francois watched Luna’s chest rise and fall with each breath she took.
Francois guessed it was their to turn to blush.

Ok so maybe last time didn’t go as planned… But Luna wasn’t going to give up!
No this time for sure!
Luna huffed. “I can do this!” Luna shouted to the sky on the deck of the ship.
“Do what?” Chelsea seems to pop out of nowhere.
“Ahhh! Chelsea!” Luna flushed. “I didn’t see you there..,”
“Well yeah. You were yelling at the sea,” Chelsea bluntly pointed out. “Is it some kind of affirmation?”
Luna’s face just grew more red. “Well umm you see…. I-,” Luna fumbled on her words. “There’s this person I kind of want to ask out and…,”
“Ohhhhh are you talking about Francois?” Chelsea interjected.
That made Luan’s brain too small for a second. Not even recognizing the name for a second. “Whaaaa?!! What makes you think that?!” Luna akwardiy laughed.
“Hmmmm? I was right wasn’t I?” Chelsea tilted her head innocently. “You tots like Franc-,” Before Chelsea could finish, Luna put her hand over Chelsea’s mouth.
“Okay yes but shhh,” Luna put her finger up to her mouth. “Don’t say it so loud ok?” Chelsea nodded and Luna removed her hand. “Who told you?”
“Oh Suika told me she saw you two a few nights ago. You had fallen asleep on Francois’s lap,”
“Ohhh…,” Luna felt like she could collapse any second.
“What? Don’t you want to ask them out?” Chelsea hummed.
“Well yeah…,” Luna mumbled. Holding the hem of her dress.
“Sooooo what’s stopping ya?” Chelsea asked.
“Well you know..,” Luna looked at the floor.
“No I don’t,”
Luna took a deep breath. “I want to do something unique but don’t want them to reject me or make them feel like I’m forcing them to say yes,” Luna answered truthfully.
“But you still want to confess to them don’t you?” Chelsea asked.
“Well yeah…,” Luna replied.
“If you ask me, I’d say go for it,” Chelsea put her thumbs up and smiled. “Ohh you should confess now!”
“What? Chelsea?” Luna put her arms up but Chelsea drabbed one and started to pull Luna along. She was stronger than she looked. “Hey Chelsea wait!”
“Come on! Francois is free right now and-,”
“Chelsea!!” Luna put her foot down and raised her voice at the other.
Chelsea stopped and turned to look at Luna. “What? Did I say something?”
Luna felt a twinge of guilt for raising her voice. “No Chelsea, but I want to confess to Francois when I’m ready,” Luna explained calmly.
“Ohh… I’m sorry Luna,” Chelsea hung her head. “I just wanted to help,”
“I know, and I’m sorry for yelling but I want to confess when I’m ready,” Luna continued. Chelsea still hung her head. Her eyes were hidden by the punkin hat but Luna could tell she was pouting. “Hey I have an idea you can help me with,”

Francois was getting ready to call it a night. They had everything set up for tomorrow. Suika’s snack was out, breakfast prepped, and the laundry done. Francois hummed as they stood up and brushed off their uniform.
“That’s that then,” Francois thought out loud.
The door behind them creaked. A bit early but- “Your snack in the on counter master Suika,”
“Ohhh you make Suika snacks before bed?” Another voice asked.
Francois turned around to find Chelsea instead of Suika peeking her head in. “Can you maske me one to?”
“Sure Master Chelsea but may I ask why you’re here?” Franocis questioned.
“Oh right! Can I borrow you for a second?”
‘Is there something you need?” Francois was a bit confused.
“Ohh umm yeah! I need your help with something actually,” Chelsea was definitely hiding something but Francois trusted Chelsea.
“Sure master Chelsea,” Francois followed the small scientist.
“Thankssss,” Chelsea sang.
Chelsea led Francois up the front of the ship. What Francous found was not at all what they were suspecting. In a half circle, there were a bunch of candles set out.
“Surprise!” Chelsea put her arm out to the candles.
“Huh? I’m sorry Master Chelsea I don’t…?”
“Hehe Sorry Fran,” Luna came out from the corner with what looked like a guitar. “I had to set up a few more things,”
“Master Luna? What's going on?” Francois asked.
“Anddd That’s my queue! Byeeeee,” Chelsea turned and walked back.
“Sorry,” Luna apologized. “Is it too much?”
“That depends,” Francois smiled. “Why did you ask me here?”
“Well I wanted to tell you something but I’m not… good at saying it normally so I thought-,” Luna mumbled, looking at her feet. “Does this sound silly?”
“I’d love to listen to what you have to say master Luna ,” Francois lifted up Luna’s chin to look at them.
“Oh ok!” Luna perked up.
Luna sat in the middle of the semi circle of candles and Francois sat next to her.
“"Hey" That's what I want to say to you” Luna started to strum the song.

Luna started to laugh. “I guess you know it too huh?”
“I always liked it, yes,” Francois replied.
“Soooo ummm did you…,” Luna mumbled.
“Hmmm,” Francois hummed. “I think, but maybe you should tell me,” Francois teased.
“Ohh you jerk!” Luna playfully pushed Francois’s shoulder.
Francois laughed. “Yeah I get it Master Luna. I like you too,” Francois said to composted as always
Luna on the other hand- “Mhmhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” Luna hid her face in her hands.
“Master Luna?” Francois asked.
“Mhmmhhhhhhhhh,” Luna hid her face in Francois’s shoulder. “Ahh I’m so embarrassed,” Luna lightly laughed.
“Cute,” Francois thought out loud as they ran their hand over Luna’s soft cotton candy hair.
“Ahh Frannn~,” Luna mumbled.
“Shhh, It was sweet my dear,” Francois reassured her.
