He was successful, attractive and charming but she'd learnt that people of that age always had secrets. That was the first thought that crossed Celestia Ludenberd’s mind when she met the Ultimate Affluent Progeny. Though harshness was written across his face with every word that he spoke his eyes told a far different story. When she had begun her career as a gambler she had learned one thing, people learn to hide their bodies reaction but their eyes will always reveal their secrets. The secrets that his eyes hid were intriguing to her, fear and worry etched deeply into them. She felt drawn to them in a way that she had never felt before. It was an odd sort of warmth, drawing her in and intriguing her more and more, secret feelings that were known only to her. Throughout the weeks she found herself being pulled in closer and closer to him, his intoxicating steely eyes and a personality that seemed to match, but the secret warmth that burned as bright as any hearth in any castle or any home. She vaguely wondered if she could bring him into her dreams, into her life. Celestia Ludenberd was many things, standing atop that burning pyre feeling a much harsher warmth scorching through her body. She vaguely looked for the calming warmth she’d once known, but instead found that fire completely dampened.
