Chapter Text
Nanami doesn’t waste time.
Gojo’s known that as long as he’s known the man. Everything is down to a schedule, and god forbid Nanami have to work overtime.
Which is why it doesn’t make sense, at all, that Nanami wouldn’t be straightforward when it came to his feelings toward Gojo. Theoretically, if he had feelings for Gojo and knew about it, he would’ve asked him out already.
Though Gojo can’t imagine him being romantic enough to make an effort with it.
The point is, he wouldn’t sit around and waste both of their time like this.
There’s only one explanation. He simply doesn’t know about his feelings for Gojo.
Logically, it all adds up. It would explain why he hasn’t acted on them, and why he’s tolerated Gojo’s presence for so long, even if he’s unaware of the reason.
No one has tolerated Gojo for such a stretch of time. Hell, he’s known Nanami since they were young. Sure, Nanami left for the corporate world, but he came back. And he hasn’t strayed since.
So, Nanami has feelings for Gojo.
It’s Gojo’s duty to make him realize it. For one, Gojo’s tired of sleeping in his own boring bed. He kind of wants to see what hideous animal pattern is gracing Nanami’s sheets. It probably matches his tie. God, that’d be so funny. The blackmail material would be endless.
It’s mostly for that reason, and not at all anything to do with how Gojo feels, that motivates him to enact his plan.
Nanami's pretty clueless, but Gojo has faith that at least one of his methods will work, surely.
