The was cold and fresh the morning you awoke, still groggy and slightly irritated by the light that found its way into your room. Turning over to the other side of the bed your tired eyes caught glimpse of a bird at the window carrying a rather large letter for a bird of its size.
Mustering up the strength to get out of bed and face the cool morning air on your body you make your way to the resting bird and untie the letter. For good measure and luck, you set out some seeds and water for the bird as your fingers unfold the paper a smile graces your lips when the letter proves to be from a certain raven-haired sorceress that just so happens to be courting you diligently.
The letter reads that she will be in your town for you later this evening and to look your best for a night of drinking and merriment. A spark of excitement and bits of anxiety hits your stomach as the realization hits you. ‘It’s time to run a bath is your first thought of the morning. Being an herbalist you easily found a good set of herbs to throw into the steaming water to make your skin soft and smell heavenly.
Was it silly to be pulling out all the stops? You knew Yen for a while so why were you so nervous? It’s not like she is considered to be outrageously beautiful… and that outrageously beautiful woman wants to take you out for drinks. Deciding to turn that awkwardness and anxiety into excited ness worked for the time being.
It wasn’t until later that you were fumbling around for a perfect outfit and once you finally settled on one there was a knock at your door. A little too quickly you found your way to the door and opened it to see Yennefer in all her glory taking in the sight of you with an approving and loving small smile on her lips “Hello my dear, you sure know how to impress.” she says motioning to you
“Oh please,” you retort “It should be considered nothing compared to you” she gives a small laugh at this and leads you to a carriage. Once you arrive a small gasp escapes you, there was this really fancy tavern in your town you never really dared to step foot in.
“Yen, i-” you started to say something- anything, but she was already leading you inside was bright and fun music played it was warm inside and smelled of sweets, fine meat, and expensive alcohol. As you took in your surrounding you failed to notices Yennefer watching you with an absolutely smitten look about her.
Thus the night took off and you became fore comfortable twirling with your magical lover, many in the tavern cheered you two on with your extravagant dancing and singing. You swore you never saw Yennefer smile this much in her like and her eyes never left your figure.
Her gaze could make the most experienced brothel woman blush you swore. The night winded down and the drinks wearing off leaving your mind a little light as you leaned on Yennefer who lead you to a room in the tavern. It was beautiful, lavish red and gold bedding the wood floors and tables dark and astonishing.
“What a night!” you hear Yennefer say amused while stretching her arms and back, “this night has been perfect my love..” you say to your beloved who smiles softly making her way to you and placing a hand on your cheek and one you the waist. “Only the best for you,” she says quietly as you close the gap between your lips. It’s a soft and sweet kiss full of love. You both end up holding each other after a bath, because who can resist such a fancy bath. You feel so at peace tangled up with Yennefer.
