You should've told him earlier, before getting in a romantic relationship with him. You knew that. The timing was just important to you. It might also be easier to just go with it, just accept the overly akward situation.
Dabi kissed your jawline, slowly sliding down over your neck. Right now you were going with it. He was standing on the line that you had, uknowingly to him, drawn in the sand. His hand slipped up under your shirt with an effort to take it off. He then slowly went to the button on your jeans. He was over the line.
"Stop." You faintly said, feeling embarrassed.
He didn't hear you.
"Dabi. Stop!" You said, placing a hand on his chest and pushing him away. He moved away, looking worried at you.
"Are you okay? What did i do wrong!?" He said, worried.
You moved up to sit against the wall, pulling your knees up to your chest.
"I-i..." You were not embarrassed to be ace, rather scared when you have to explain it to him. Would he accept you?
"Is it your body? Are you embarrassed?" He asked trying to figure you out.
"Well... No." Why was it so difficult to say?
"I'm ace, Dabi." 'Please understand', You begged internally.
Dabi just looked like a questionmark.
"Asexual." You said like that would explain it.
He tilted his head. "You don't like... Sex?" He asked.
"Well it's more than just that, i don't feel sexual attraction." You explained. Now that the worst part was over, it was not that difficult.
"I've never looked at someone and..." You started. "Wanted to fuck them." He finished the sentence.
"Yeah, that's basically it." You said, happy that he understood. You quickly noticed the hesitant look in his eyes. 'Wait he doesn't accept me?'
"You still like cuddling, right?" He asked.
"Well of course i do." You told him relieved, that was all.
He moved over to you and hugged you. "This is fine right?" You hugged him back in response.
"Will you please explain more?" He asked, hugging you closer.
As you explained it to him, you both slowly calmed down.
