It started out as a normal day at Mount Justice. Megan was trying to make a batch of cookies, Conner and Artemis was watching static, Kaldur was reading a book, Wally was busy with something? so he wasn't present at the time and Dick was where he always disappears to.
Then the zeta tubes announced someone coming "Red Hood B-17." that got the team on their feet and point their weapons at him because they thought Red Hood was one of the super villains from Gotham. (PAUSE. Why does everyone think he's bad? HE's the only one who protects the little kids in crime alley. They belive in him. Ever seen another bat do anything like that (other than spoiler)? Anyways back to the story. Play.) "Hey Alfr-" Was what Red Hood was saying when he noticed where he was and cut himself. "Shit- This is the kiddie league."
"Wing!" He then shouted. Nightwing came out of somewhere "What no- Jay?!" He said surprised when he saw Red Hood. "You know him?" Artemis questioned. "Yeah, put your weapons down. Thank you very much I'll take it from here" Dick said then went to 'Jay'. "What are you doing here?" He hissed.
"Well I got shot twice and I thought I was going somewhere near my safehouse, but if you want me to leave I'll be sure to do that." Jason said sarcstically, it was then the team noticed his shirt soaking red. How they had not noticed before is beyond me. "You got shot?" Dick practically screamed. "No, I just put red paint on myself- of course I got shot. I just said that." Jason said rolling his eyes.
The team was watching this with confused expressions. "Wait what?". The other two just ignored them "You are following me young man." Dick tried to drag Jason in the direction of the medbay. "I'm twenty." Jason deadpanned. "But whatever." he sighed and allowed himself to be dragged.
The team peered through and saw Nightwing gently wrapping Red Hoods wounds. They decided to just wait. A few hours later they saw Red Hood with bandages wrapped around the wound. "Thats as much as I can do we will have to get you to the batcave." Dick said inspecting the bandages. "Since I'm fixed up, I think I'll go back to my place." He said walking to the zeta tubes, but anyone could see he was physically hurting and winced at every step.
"No you are not" Dick said and proceeded to give Jason the baby bat eyes. "Agent A also made cookies for dessert~" He said in a sing-song voice. "Alright but I'm only coming for A's cookies" He grumbled but you could see he was happy about it even if he was trying to cover it up.
Thats when Artemis asked the question that was on everyones minds "Why are you chatting with Red Hood. He's a villian in Gotham?".
"Oh no, he's my brother." Nightwing said coolly. "WHAT!" The whole team shouted. "See you later!" And with that Red Hood and Nightwing zeta tubed to the batcave. Megan cut the silence "Do you think the Agent A will give me the recipe for the cookies which even Red Hood loves?"
With that chaos broke open.
