Arcas

Summary:

This is an original story. About someone who was experimented on, but failed.

Edit: I decided to rewrite the prologue almost completely

Notes:

This is my first fanfiction, so please be nice. If there's any mistakes, my apologies, this took many late nights to write.

Chapter Text

Arcas is a failed experiment by Heisenberg.

He made them in a attempt to destroy Mother Miranda, but they never got they chance to. Heisenberg took a young villager, Alix, as a willing participant. He thought if he wanted someone to be strong enough to defeat Mother Miranda he would have to take human DNA and combine it with something stronger. He searched for DNA of a strong animal, he decided to go with a lion's. He merged the DNA into the cadou and placed it in Alix's chest area. He put them in a test tube to quicken the process, and soon enough, he saw results. Alix grew larger, got a stronger cognitive response, and physical features of a lion.

When it was time to remove Alix, they were reborn. Alix was no longer Alix. Heisenberg gave Alix a new identity, Arcas.

Arcas was put into a series of test once they got used to their new body. Over the next several years they were tested for strength, quick thinking, and speed. Arcas passed every one with flying colors, until the final tests.

Heisenberg took Arcas into his lab for a different kind of test. He wanted to test their endurance, but not running or following their usual training regimen, he wanted to test their endurance to pain.

He strapped them down to a standing table, which Arcas thought was weird, but obeyed. He then continued to torture them until he got a somewhat good result. The rest of the tests went on just like this, but in different ways: emotional, mental, battling with Heisenberg's own creations.

When Arcas was reborn Heisenberg had treated them like a father with his kid, but seeing what he is really capable of, they were certain they wouldn't survive another test. Heisenberg had manipulated them from the very beginning and it broke Arcas' heart to be finding out so late.

The last test was a fight with Heisenberg himself, and he wasn't going to hold back. They both went at it for hours and Arcas was getting tired and weak. Heisenberg could see this, but he didn't care, he kept going. Arcas couldn't take it anymore and they passed out exhausted and weak from the fight. Heisenberg was pissed, he stormed over to give them a piece of his mind, degrading them, kicking them, breaking a few ribs.

He ordered one of minions to throw Arcas out, calling them a failure. Arcas was tossed out in the snow, they were on their own now. It took some time before Arcas regained consciousness, and everything hurt.

They hobbled around for a while, looking for somewhere safe. They saw a castle in the distance and decided it would be the safest for now. They made the trek up and avoided unwanted attention if they could, eventually they made it to the front gate.

They tried to think or find a way to get in, they spotted an opening in the back of the castle's walls and slipped in. They were safe.

They stayed there for a couple of weeks, their ribs were feeling better, but they couldn't move how they used to. Bruises all over their body, their ribs weren't completely healed, so any harsh movements would worsen their condition. They went in the castle to find something to eat, it was always eerily quiet, Arcas didn't really mind, they just knew they wouldn't get caught.

One day, Arcas decided to explore more than just the kitchen. They entered what was probably the living room. It was warm, most likely because of the lit fireplace. They checked for any sounds that someone was near, any recent smells, they found none. And so, after scoping out the room, they settled on the collection of chairs by the fireplace. They thought it wouldn't hurt to have a seat on one of the plush chairs in front of said fire. It was really comfortable, like sitting on a cloud. They tried staying awake, they really did, but this was the most safe Arcas ever felt. Warmth and comfort overtook Arcas and they fell asleep curled up on the chair.

When they woke up, they had a feeling that they were being watched, they sat up and looked around, no one was there. There was, though, one fly, hovering in the middle of the room. They stood up and walked towards it. Then out of nowhere, a swarm of flies surrounded them. They flew to the center of the room, materializing into three women. Arcas was amazed and terrified at the same time.

"Oh shit."

Three women, one with blond hair, the second with black hair, and the third with red hair and a half shave. "Who the hell is this? How did you get in the castle!?", said the blond one. "Looks like a weird cat thing", the red head said. "What do you think, sisters? Show it to mother or have fun with them ourselves?", said the blond with a mischievous smile. Arcas panics and runs back to the kitchen, but one of the three fly ladies are already there. "Like you're going anywhere", Arcas attempts to run past her. But the black haired woman was quicker and grabbed a near by pan and bashed it on the back of their head.
