Work Text:

In a School Cafeteria,

"God, the burgers are to die for" Chaeyoung dramatically stated after swallowing a big bite.

"--That you wouldn't probably care if you choke to death" Jeongyeon commented, watching her in amusement.

"And the other one here looks like this will be her last meal" Tzuyu added, pointing Dahyun.

The mono-lidded Korean coughed, choking on her food.

"Cool your heels, damn" Jeongyeon chuckles and hands her a bottle of water.

"More like, cool her insoles" Tzuyu jests, making Chaeyoung laugh.

"What's with the roast?" Dahyun pouts. "I haven't eat breakfast and I was rushing here."

"For what? There's nothing special today" Chaeyoung stated, "It's just another school event or whatever."

"You're just saying that because no one's dragging you out to any booths" Jeongyeon butts in.

"Shall we put her to jail booth?" Tzuyu suggests, making them laugh.

"They don't arrest kids--" but Dahyun was cut off by someone at the back.

"Kim Dahyun?"

The three of them looked at Dahyun's behind, that got Dahyun do the same.

Park Jihyo. A class president from Section A who was looking at the paper she's holding.

"Uh-oh, a school violation?" Jeongyeon jests.

"Jail booth?

"Wha-- What did I even do?" Dahyun panics, looking at her three friends as if they know what's going on.

"Nothing serious" Jihyo spoke with a smile. "You just have to come with me."

"F-For what?"

All of them looked at the Class President in both confusion and anticipation.

"Marriage"

MARRIAGE WHAT?!

"Excuse me what?" Dahyun felt like she just misheard it. There's no way she's talking about that booth.

But then Jihyo held her wrist, pulling her to stand up from her seat.

"Marriage, Dahyun-ssi" Jihyo repeated. "I don't really have much time because there's another two pairs I have to get. So please just come with me or--"

"But why me?" Dahyun was in confusion, trying to pull her arm from Jihyo's hold.

She looked at her friends for help. But what do she expect? They're just holding back their laugh, finding her situation funny. Of course, the devils.

"With whom?" Chaeyoung asks. She look so interested that Dahyun just want to kick her ass. Tzuyu was just drinking her milk shake, unbothered.

Jihyo looked back at the paper to check who Dahyun was paired for.

"Ahh, Minatozaki Sana."

Tzuyu spat on her drink.

"MINATOZAKI WHAT?!"

-----------------------

"M-Maybe you just mistook me from someone? I can't be the only Kim Dahyun here." Dahyun was still trying to protest, pulling her arm every chance she could, but oh boy, Jihyo is too strong for her.

Then she heard the demons laughing at the back, following them from behind.

"Yah! Why aren't you doing anything?!" She glares at them, then she noticed that the other students were looking at them. She looked back at Jihyo, suddenly feeling anxious. "Jihyo-unnie, I know we're not that close, but can I at least just pay and free me?"

"Uhh, Sorry I can't" Jihyo smiled apologetically.

"Maybe you just mistook me from someone--"

"There's a description here, and you're actually wearing the same clothes described here."

"Oh my god, and it's with Minatozaki Sana" Dahyun groaned in frustration, shutting her eyes as she tries to calm down.

"Why? Do you have something with her?" Jihyo asks with a grin.

"That's her long time crush--"

"Shut up." Dahyun glares at her friends. "Don't even talk to me, traitors! I know one of you did this." she squinted her eyes in suspicion.

"We were with you the whole time!" Chaeyoung said in defense.

"You know, this could be your chance to talk to her." Jihyo was trying to reassure her but still continued dragging Dahyun to Marriage booth.

"Please I don't want to embarrass myself in front of her. Can you just tell her you didn't find me?"

"Don't worry, Dubs. We have your back!" Dahyun could only groan.

Just then she realized that they're getting closer to the Marriage booth. And oh boy,

Was she tripping or is she really seeing a familiar figure standing on a small stage with a fake priest.

Holy deck, Jihyo wasn't kidding...

IT'S MINATOZAKI SANA.

"Just don't pee on your pants, Dubs." Jeongyeon advices.

"Hold it in and be the good future wife you are. We're here for you!" Chaeyoung joins.

"Fighting!" Tzuyu cheers.

These children of Sata--

Then she realized that she's already on the stage, and she felt the grip of Jihyo's hand gone.

She took a gulp before batting an eye at the Japanese beauty in front of her. Now they're facing each other.

WHY IS SHE SMILING AT ME?! IS GOD PLAYING WITH ME?? WHAT IN THE--

"I thought you ran away." That was the first thing Sana said. She looked unbothered despite their state, and Dahyun was going insane.

"Huh?" She was dumbfounded.

Sana chuckles. "Were you somewhere? I can't believe we're dragged here and get paired."

"They dragged you here?" Dahyun looked at her in concern. "I'm sorry, I don't really know what's h-happening either. You must be surprised, but I swear I have nothing to do--"

"Hey, it's fine." Sana cuts her blabbering off. Then she looked around too see a couple of students watching them. "Even with the people watching right now..." she then faced Dahyun. "I don't really mind at all. This looks fun."

Dahyun could hear one of her inner whipped gay ass braincells screaming.

There was a lot of things happening and she couldn't keep up. She didn't even understand a single thing this fake priest was saying. But seeing Sana in front of her,

All she could focus was how Sana giggles when she heard some loud cheers (that for sure was from Dahyun's friends, teasing her ass.)

And how Sana is actually more beautiful up close, that Dahyun was surprised she didn't faint right at this moment.

"Can you guys hold hands?" The fake priest whispers at them before continuing his speech.

And without a word, Sana reached to hold Dahyun's hands. Then she looked at her as if asking if it was okay, and Dahyun could only give an awkward smile (that she for sure thinks she looks like she's about to poop and explode. Don't even let her start talking about how red her face is probably right now).

It feels surreal, really. She wasn't really expecting anything good would happen today. It was just another normal day with her friends, roaming around and just eat whatever food stalls they pass by.

But now here she is, standing in front of her long time crush (that she has been denying, out of panic.) And they're getting married in front of these students she don't even know.

Dahyun met Sana at one of Momo's party their mutual friend). She was introduced to Sana, but it didn't even go well as she was so intimidated by the Japanese beauty. It was an awkward moment between two strangers.

And Dahyun as Dahyun, she's a little distant towards Sana and to Momo's other friends because she thought that they're out of her league; Sana is way too out of league to be friends with her (especially now that she's actually crushing on her.)

Dahyun's thoughts were cut off when she felt a light squeeze on her hand from Sana, that's when she realized that she has been staring at her.

"You good? You're so red." Sana lowly said, but the fake priest heard it nonetheless, letting out an unattractive snort at Dahyun's state.

"Okay that's it." The fake priest sighed, "You may now kiss the bride"

Dahyun's instantly turned to face the priest, fully shocked.

What did he just say?!

"Excuse me?" Dahyun blinks.

"In order to end this, you have to kiss her..." Then he looked at Sana, "Or kiss her, so you guys can finally go."

Both of them shared a surprised look.

Dahyun can't.

She couldn't. And she wouldn't DARE KISS SANA.

SHE JUST ATE A BURGER WITH ONIONS FOR FUCK'S SAKE, AND HER BREATH PROBABLY SMELLS LIKE ONE. SO THERE'S NO WAY SHE'S GONNA DO THAT.

"Uhh, Dahyun?" Sana looks at her im concern. "What are we going to do?" She is clueless either.

"I..." Dahyun could feel her throat getting dry, her tongue tied in a knot.

and why is SANA NOT LETTING GO OF HER HANDS IT'S PROBABLY SWEATING LIKE HELL.

The fake priest faked a cough, gaining both of their attention. "I'm talking about a kiss cheek, unless...?" He looked at the two who were blushing. "We're running out of time. Come on, they don't pay me big for this."

"This is so awkward." Dahyun mumbled to herself, but Sana must've heard it because she chuckled at her, So she looked up and met those light brown eyes already staring at her. "I don't really know what to do..." She said, she sounded like she's about to cry in embarrassment.

"Should I kiss you instead?"

WHAT?! SHE SHOULD WHAT?!

"Girls, it's either you do it or I'm pushing both of your heads." The fake priests half-heartedly said.

"Okay..." Sana mumbled, "Let's do it so we can end this."

"You don't really have to--"

And without wasting more time, Sana starts to lean closer. Closer and closer, until she stops an inch away from Dahyun's red face. Dahyun had to shut her eyes up.

Dahyun was sure that she could hear the gasps from her friends.

Then Sana whispers, "Your cheek, Dahyun-ssi." But Dahyun couldn't talk, didn't even dare open her eyes because she knows she's gonna literally regret it. Then she heard Sana sigh. "Nevermind."

And she thought that Sana decided to just stop and lean away, but before she could even open her eyes,

She felt a pair of lips pressed against her left cheek. It feels warm and soft. And Dahyun was sure her soul just left her body to scream.

The Korean girl heard her friends screaming that she had to open her eyes, now meeting those warm eyes looking at her with a playful grin.

"There you go." said Sana oh-so-casually that Dahyun just wants to dive in the ground right here, right now.

-----------------

"She's still shaking." said Tzuyu as they watch Dahyun inside the restroom after running away from the marriage booth as soon as it finished.

"Shut up" Dahyun grumbled, glaring at them.

"And she's still red" Chaeyoung snorted.

"I'm aware of that, Son CHAEYOUNG" Dahyun's still glaring at the three behind her through reflection.

"You're being dramatic" Jeongyeon teases.

"Dramatic?! That was so fast I can't even process a thing! Who am I again? I don't even know anymore." Dahyun hysterically cries out. "It was torture."

"A good torture. Wasn't that what you wanted? And you got a kiss on the cheek from Sana" Tzuyu grins.

"Oh my god she kissed me! I can't believe that happened." Dahyun was having her mental crisis, and her friends teasing her wasn't helping at all. "I can't even feel my face."

"You looked stupid back there. Sana was giggling the whole time." Chaeyoung pressed, making Dahyun suffer more in embarrassment.

"Fuck, that was so embarrassing." She covered her red face, "If you were in my shoe, you'd react the same."

"Doubt that." Chaeyoung shrugs.

"Even if it's in front is Mina?" Tzuyu raises her eyebrows.

"Well..." Chaeyoung pressed her lips together, admitting.

"See?!" Dahyun sighs deeply, shaking herself to calm down. "Who even did that? I swear to God if it's one of you--"

"Not me though. I'm broke. Why would I waste my money for that booth?" said Chaeyoung in defense.

"But if it means making Dahyun suffer, I would." Jeongyeon added with a grin.

"So it was you?!" Dahyun accuses, pointing her finger at her.

"What the heck? It wasn't me, I swear! I was with you." Jeongyeon raises her hands.

Then the three of them looked at Tzuyu who has been silently watching them.

"What? You know I don't give a fuck." Tzuyu stated with a poker face.

Dahyun sighed in defeat, dropping her tensed shoulders. "Of course, you guys won't admit."

"We're dead serious. It could be someone else?" Chaeyoung uttered, guessing.

"Yeah sure, tell it to the marines"

"What does it have to do with the marines?" Chaeyoung frowned.

"Goodness--"

--------------------

After that incident at the Marriage booth, and well uh, got married,

Sana starts approaching her; talking to her like they've been very close ever since. Quite weird. Maybe it's because Sana has been known as someone very friendly.

"Three o'clock." said Tzuyu as they stood near their lockers.

"Three what? It's already nine in the morni--"

"On your left side, Dumbass." Jeongyeon sighs at the mono-lidded Korean.

"What's with my left--" but Dahyun was cut off when Chaeyoung held her shoulders to turn her to the left.

And as soon as she was turned,

She was faced by no other than, Minatozaki Sana.

"Hey, Dahyun-ssi." Sana flashes a big smile at her that Dahyun could feel herself internally choking (If that's even possible).

"H-Hey, Sana-ssi." She bowed. She could hear the devils snorting behind her because of her action.

"Oh! And hey, guys." Sana waves her hand at Dahyun's friends.

"Hello, Miss Japan." Jeongyeon greets back with a grin, while Chaeyoung and Tzuyu nods their heads.

"I'm actually in a hurry. I just wanted to say hi..." She then looked back at Dahyun. "So I guess I'll see you around, cute wife." Sana stated so casually then pats Dahyun's chin before leaving her statued on her spot.

Then her friends starts laughing.

"Cute wife?" Chaeyoung fakes a gasp.

"What in the witchcraft did you do, Kim Dahyun?"

"For real, teach me your ways." Chaeyoung grins as she placed her arm over Dahyun's shoulder.

"You should've seen your face" Tzuyu chuckles, "You're so red."

"Idiotic, you mean." Jeongyeon jests.

Chaeyoung pursed her lips, "But I can't tell if Sana's being serious though, or was just playing around."

"She's flirty in nature, I've heard." Tzuyu commented.

"But why Dahyun?" Jeongyeon asks in wonder, as if her friends could answer that.

"Why not?" Chaeyoung shrugs.

"More like, What now, Dahyun?" And the three of them looked at the mono-lidded Korean girl.

Dahyun could only stare at her friends, still in shock; as if she just found out Sana's carrying their ninth child.

"Someone better slap me."

She did get a slap.

From Tzuyu.

Without any hesitation.

-----------------

"Dahyun, your wife is outside the door waiting for you." Chaeyoung informs.

"...What wife?" Dahyun frowns, but when she looked outside the window, she found Sana talking to someone. "What the heck...?"

"She invited us to join lunch with them." Chaeyoung casually stated, and Dahyun watched her put her art materials inside her bag.

"Stop playing around." Dahyun frowns.

Chaeyoung frowns back at her, "I'm not? Jeong and Tzuyu's already at the cafeteria with the others."

"...What?" She hardly processes a thing.

"Her friends, obviously. Did you forgot she's also friends with Momo?" Chaeyoung shakes her head at her lost friend. "This is why you should go out often."

Dahyun just stood there, spaced out.

"Just come with us, Dubs. Don't worry, we'll be there."

"And you think I trust you guys? You love watching me suffer." Dahyun scoffs.

"Well, sometimes..." Chaeyoung chuckles. "Come on. Sana's waiting outside." She pulls her out of the room.

Sana immediately noticed them and approaches them with a smile. "Let's go?"

Is she serious...?

------------------

Dahyun was sure she's in the opposite side of the world. She feels like she was the only one who doesn't know a single thing happening; like she was surrounded by clones,

Because looking at her friends interacting with Sana's friends was so weird.

Since when was does happening?

Are they pranking her? Was this some sort of dare Sana had to do? But there's no way that her friends would pull something this serious. Wait? Was this even serious?

"Finally!" Jeongyeon cheers as soon as they got closer to the table.

"What took you guys long?" Momo raises her eyebrows.

"Dahyun was lagging." Chaeyoung jests, making Tzuyu snort.

"Lagging?" Momo asks in confusion.

"How about you introduce your wifey, Satang?" Nayeon interrupts with a grin on her face.

"Wifey?" Jeongyeon snorts. "Cringe--ouch!" She winced when Nayeon pinched her side.

"How about they sit first?" Mina stated.

"Oh, right" Momo chuckles and scoots closer to Tzuyu who looks unbothered. And Dahyun looked at Jeongyeon as if asking if she really have to sit beside Sana. Jeongyeon just nods her head.

"Are you for real?" She mouthed. But before she could protest, Momo pulled her down to seat, now she's sandwiched between Momo and Sana.

"There you go." Momo chuckles and playfully nudges Dahyun's side. "Chill. It's just us, right Sana?" Both of them looked at Sana who has been looking at them.

"Just tell us if you feel uncomfortable" Sana softly stated.

She wasn't. She was just weirded out by what's happening.

"So, I still don't know her name." Nayeon butts in. "Im Nayeon, but you can call me your babe." The oldest Korean girl winks at Dahyun.

"Back off." Sana playfully glares, "This is the Dahyun. My other half."

The mono-lidded Korean coughed, choking at the sudden introduction, while her friends were holding their laugh.

"The Dahyun?" Mina asks Sana with raised eyebrows, as if confirming.

"The one she got married yesterday." Momo added.

If there's something Dahyun wanted to do right at this moment, it's to dig a hole and dive right in. Or strangle her friends who are clearly enjoying her suffering. She was no different to a tomato right now.

"Damn, then I'm backing off." Nayeon playfully raises her hands in surrender.

"You don't stand a chance either." Jeongyeon countered.

"Oh please. I know looks aren't everything, but I have them, and there's a lot more--"

"Where?" Jeongyeon asks.

"Where what?"

"The looks?"

"Fuck off, Jeongyeon. You're just being jealous." Nayeon cockily said, "Just admit it, you like me."

"Excuse me, I have to puke--aww!" Jeongyeon winced from another pinch. Everyone was trying to hold back their laugh at their cute banter.

"Anyway, it's nice to finally meet you, Dahyun" Mina interrupted the two.

"Thanks. Same goes for me." Dahyun uttered.

AND SINCE WHEN WAS CHAEYOUNG THIS CLOSE TO MINA?

She swore to God. She's missing something.

"It's been a while since we got together again." said Momo. Dahyun was just listening, but then she felt someone whispering beside her, she almost jolted.

"Sorry." Sana giggles, "Are you good?"

How could she even aSK ME THAT WHEN SHE'S THAT CLOSE LOOKING SO PRETTY?!

"Y-Yeah." Dahyun averts her gaze and looks down her food. "Just confused."

"About what?" Sana tilted her head a little to the side, just to have a look of Dahyun, eyes curious.

Dahyun looked up only to see Jeongyeon secretly glancing at them, but averts it as soon she got caught.

"Uhh, this?" Dahyun shyly glances at Sana.

"Ahh..." Sana nods with a smile. "Maybe because you rarely see us together, right? We have mutual friends."

"I could tell..." Dahyun stated, almost in a whisper. "It must be because I rarely hang out outside school"

"It's fine." Sana gently bumps her shoulder against Dahyun's, "But yeah, we would love to hang out with you more often..." she added. That made Dahyun look up to her, meeting Sana's warm brown eyes staring at her. "I would love to hang out with you..."

If someone's gonna ask Dahyun what was clearly happening,

The only thing she could probably answer would be, "I don't know. I don't do witchcraft either, but maybe this is from manifesting. Maybe a parallel universe?"

Just kidding. She is actually going insane.

-------------------

It's been weeks since Dahyun started hanging out with Sana and their friends. It was smooth really, though there's still times she wonders how they ended up like this. This close.

She couldn't believe that she would be able to get close with Sana, and for the most part, it is Sana who mostly initiates; who mostly approaches her, probably because Dahyun's shyness towards her was that obvious.

But there's also some moments that would really question her how, of all people-- Sana's talking to her and her friends. The Japanese girl is popular, something so obvious. A social butterfly and gorgeous. Too good to be true.

There's a lot of people who likes her, to be friends with her, and well, admirers.

Just like what she's seeing right now.

Sana was walking towards their usual table with their friends, but then a guy from football team-- who Dahyun guessed his name's Park Chanyeol, approached Sana, stopping her.

And Dahyun watched how Chanyeol talks to her, flashing his, she painfully admits, dashing smile at Sana. And Sana was doing the same, suddenly her attention was stolen by Chanyeol.

She felt her stomach flipping, it was so weird that she just want to stomp someone's foot to release the bothering feeling.

Was she jealous? There's no way she should be. It's not like she's someone important to the Japanese girl, nor has the right to be. She's a friend of her friends. And that's it.

Dahyun heard a snort from someone beside her.

"Looks like someone's jealous." Jeongyeon teases. Dahyun knows she was talking about her, but she ignored it, focusing on her food. It was also to avoid embarrassment, because Sana's friends are on the same table with them, and they're obviously watching Dahyun's reaction.

She reminds herself to kill Jeongyeon after lunch.

"Don't worry, Dubs. You're the wife"

And probably Chaeyoung.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Dahyun looks up to glare at Chaeyoung.

"Just stating the obvio-- aww!" Chaeyoung winced when she felt someone stomped her foot. "I was just kidding." She pouted.

She ignored them, but she couldn't help but glance at Sana's direction once again. She was still there, talking to Chanyeol.

Then she noticed that she was also glancing at their table, probably checking if they're still there.

Their eyes met. Ans Sana flashes a smile, or was she just imagining it?

Dahyun immediately averted her gaze, sighed at her food.

Why does Sana have to be so ideal?

------------------

Dahyun was too occupied with the book she's reading inside the library. She was in the corner, where no one else was near her.

And even if the room was too quiet, she still didn't get to hear the footsteps of someone approaching her. Well, not until when she heard the seat across her let out a screech. Dahyun looks up to see what was happening.

She was met by a pair of honey brown eyes staring at her, followed by a gentle smile slowly curving her lips.

"Hey." Sana casually greets.

Dahyun is having her moment staring at the beauty in front of her. It was weird to see her in the library, especially without her friends who she's usually with.

"Is it that surprising to see me here?" Sana tilts her head on the side, teasing. Dahyun blinked twice, brought back to reality.

"Uh, a little?" She let out a small laugh and looked back at the book, avoiding the Japanese girl's eyes. "So, why are you here?"

Sana chuckles, "Taking a rest?" She shrugs. "But then I saw you here, so I decided to come here and accompany you."

Dahyun bit the inside of her cheek to prevent herself from smiling.

"You just really want to rest here and use me as your cover." Dahyun jests, that made the latter smile widely, obviously surprised at the playful reply.

"You got me there." Sana giggles, "But really, I was actually looking for a book, then kind of distracted. I thought watching you study would be more interesting."

"What's with you?" Dahyun failed to hold back her smile, shaking her head in amusement as she glances at Sana.

"What's with me, Dahyun-ssi? I was just saying." She shrugs, eyes never left Dahyun's.

And the Korean averted her gaze once again, looking  back at the book to avoid eye contact. Though she knew it would never work, neither would understand the words written because she is already distracted by the beauty in front of her.

With how she stares and say those words so naturally, Dahyun was for sure, blushing already. She could feel her cheeks getting warm, beating the aircon inside the library.

Then Sana sighed deeply, leaning her head against the desk with crossed arms as a pillow. She was facing Dahyun, though she could only see a little of her face because it was covered by the book.

"I am so tired. Midterm is coming." Sana groggily said. Dahyun agreed by nodding her head.

But the Korean suddenly placed the book on the desk, then took something from her bag while Sana watches her.

"Try this chocolate." Dahyun says, handing her a still wrapped chocolate bar. "It always makes me feel better."

That made Sana sat up, hand reaching to take the chocolate.

"Thank you..." Sana couldn't help herself from smiling widely as she stared at the chocolate bar. Then she gave Dahyun a look.

There was nothing else in Dahyun's eyes but pure intention. She really gave her the chocolate without any hesitation.

"That's one of my favorites." Dahyun shyly added, clearing her throat as she tries to read the book again. "I'm sure you'd like it."

"For sure." Sana replied, but she was still staring at the chocolate, as if it would disappear if she lost sight of it. "You know what..."

Dahyun looked up, eyebrows raised as she waits for the latter to continue. Then she noticed her rosy cheeks, finally got to clearly see it thinking she didn't noticed it earlier.

Sana was about to open her mouth and talk, but then someone from behind interrupted them.

"Oh look who we have here." Chaeyoung approaches with a grin. Dahyun starts panicking because heck, of course she's with Sana. And she knows that she's going to tell the others and tease her to death. "And who is this--"

Then Sana turned to look behind. That made Chaeyoung stop, mouth apart as her eyes shifts at Sana then to Dahyun.

Dahyun shut her eyes and cursed.

Why does she have to show up so suddenly?!

------------------

"I can explain!" Dahyun whines as she tries to sync in with Chaeyoung's steps out of the library.

Sana excused herself that she still have classes and then thanks Dahyun once again for the chocolate before she left. Now Chaeyoung was also leaving, to see their friends, and tell hee what she just witnessed.

"Yah! It was not how you think it was. Why do you have to do this to me?" Dahyun feels like crying because she knows this bean would never have mercy.

"What are you saying? I just want to see Jeong and Tzuyu because I miss them." Chaeyoung playfully grins.

"I'm going to strangle you." Dahyun grumbled, grabbing Chaeyoung to stop her from walking. Some students passing by gave them a look. "Let me at least explain!"

"Explain what?" And as if God's playing. Jeongyeon and Tzuyu appeared.

"Tell her who you're with, Dahyun." Chaeyoung smirks.

"I swear, don't believe whatever she's gonna--"

"So you're gonna deny that you're with your wife?" Chaeyoung fakes a gasp.

"Wife?" Tzuyu thought for a second, "Oh!"

"And they're in the library having a little date." Chaeyoung teases, Dahyun was too late and distracted to even stop her from talking.

"Library? Sneaky ass." Jeongyeon playfully bumps her shoulder against Dahyun's. "So you really are doing your role as Sana's wife, huh? Didn't know you're that slick, Kim Dahyun--"

"Shut up. I swear to God she's making up things--"

"You know I am not. And to add more, she gave Sana her chocolate." Chaeyoung calmly stated, making the two really believed that indeed, she was with Sana.

"No way? That's a first." Tzuyu said in disbelief.

Jeongyeon placed her arm over Dahyun's shoulder. "I can't believe one of us already got married at such young--"

"Stop being dramatic!" Dahyun shoves her away, glaring.

"And it's Dahyun." Tzuyu added.

"Oh my god, not you too."

"With Minatozaki Sana."

"Leave me alone!"

------------------

Dahyun was one of the chosen to perform at their school event. She was assigned to play the piano. It was nothing new to her, she's actually a member of the Music Club along with Chaeyoung.

She's on the stage with the other members, singing. Some of the students watching were singing along, while the others were in awe.

And it just happened that Sana was sitting on the first row. Dahyun noticed her as soon they came up to the stage. And even if it was nerve-wrecking and exciting to see her watching her perform, she couldn't help but notice the person sitting beside Sana.

It was Chanyeol. He wasn't even focusing on their performance. He was focusing on Sana. So Dahyun tries to get her attention back from playing, fighting the distraction that the two in front of her was giving.

But who was she lying. It was so hard to take her eyes off Sana, especially when she feel like she was looking at her instead of their vocalist singing at the center.

So Dahyun would look up sometimes and meet Sana's warm gaze.

And it just proves that she was indeed looking at her because as soon as their eyes met, Sana flashed a big smile, waving her hand at her as if checking if she was the one Dahyun was looking at.

How would she even escape this trap if she's willing to stay in the first place?

Dahyun is willing to grab the chance just to get closer to Sana.

Even if it means staying friends with her.

Despite knowing it would hurt like hell.

------------------

After the performance, Dahyun immediately excused herself after being congratulated for the successful performance. It wasn't because she was trying to avoid someone,

Okay, maybe she's trying to avoid someone, but other than that, she was dying to pee. She could feel it would explode any moment now and that's last thing she wanted to happen.

But after she washes her hands and fixes herself; planning to meet up with her friends,

The door suddenly opened, revealing the familiar Japanese walking in and greets Dahyun with her usual warm smile.

Now Dahyun couldn't even move her feet nor can't even greet back. Of all people, it had to be Sana who she was trying to avoid.

For what reason? Dahyun would answer, 'I don't think I could talk and look at her like a normal person. She's too, too attractive and it hurts'.

"You did a great performance back there." Sana stated as she stood beside Dahyun to wash her hands. There's a foot apart, a safe distance between them, but for Dahyun, it was still too close. She could feel her cheeks getting warm.

"Thank you." Dahyun blushes at the compliment, and she took the chance to move and dry her hands. Now Sana's behind her.

"And so, as your wife, I am treating you whatever you want."

"What?" Dahyun instantly faced her with shocked face.

Sana's eyes got thinner as she let out a light laugh, "You heard me." Dahyun had to avert her gaze at her cute face. Goodness Gracious.

"You don't really have to, Sana-ssi." Dahyun stated, biting her lip as she pretends to wipe the remaining wetness of her hand with a tissue.

"Why not?" Sana innocently asks, eyes in question.

Dahyun chuckles, "You know, you don't really have to play along with them. My friends are not here" and faced Sana to see her reaction.

Sana tilted her head, eyebrows knitted as she looks at Dahyun. "What do you mean by that?" The Korean watched how Sana's eyes grew serious for a moment. "I just want to treat you for doing a great."

That also made Dahyun confused, both sharing the same expression. "But why?"

"Why not?" Sana raises her eyebrows, still don't know why she was trying to refuse.

Dahyun let out a sigh, shaking her head in amusement as she accepted her defeat. "Okay, then okay..."

"Great. That's what I was waiting." Sana chuckles and walked closer to Dahyun. And without even saying another word, Sana held the latter's chin, thumb brushes the corner of her lips.

And Dahyun fought the urge to gulp, and fall on the ground, because that would be too obvious that she's feeling some weird tension. And it even worsened when she looked up, only to see Sana staring at her lips.

How long has she been brushing the corner of her lips? Dahyun was losing the count.

Then Sana looked up, meeting Dahyun's dark orbs. A smile slowly lingers on her lips.

"There was a smudge of lipstick." And then she let go of the hold, stepping back to give Dahyun a room to breathe.

It wouldn't be a big deal for Dahyun. Really. But then she suddenly remembered...

She wasn't wearing any lipstick.

----------------------

Two weeks have passed. The only thing changed was the that Dahyun was no longer awkward around Sana and the others (or at least that's what she thought).

Dahyun finally got used to have another plus of friends in their friend group and the fun doubled at that.

Now she's here at Nayeon's party, but it wasn't just their group of friends. Knowing Im Nayeon, she has a lot of friends. A social butterfly to be exact, so it was no surprise to see a sea of people here in her huge house.

They're currently playing the Dare Game. And yes, it's just dares, just like how the host, Im Nayeon wanted.

Dahyun was dragged to join by her friends, never leaving her in peace until she agreed. And now she's sweating, feelings nervous every spin of the bottle.

Luckily, she's not yet receiving anything and she wishes it stays like that. She was just watching the others doing the dares. Some were so silly and funny, some were weird that she couldn't help but "ick".

And of course, Sana is also present. Sitting just across here as they're formed in circle. Both would share glances, shares a laugh every time something funny happens to the others.

They haven't spoke to each other when they arrived. It was too difficult for Dahyun to approach Sana, not because she's getting awkward and all, but because there's a lot of people that were trying to get Sana's attention. Yes, it is so hard crushing someone that popular.

And seeing Chanyeol sitting beside her, talking to her every chance he could get; it was painful to watch.

But it was okay, Dahyun thought. At least Sana knows she's here.

"You guys should prepare." Nayeon smirks, it was her turn after being dared to call her ex and say something inappropriate. She looks scary, and knowing her, she could give a dare triple times worst.

When Nayeon gave the bottle a spin, it pointed on Sana. Some of them starts giggling while Sana groaned. "I'm dead." she said.

"No worries, Satang. Since you are one of my closest friends, I'll give you something easier." That made Sana feel a little relief. The others were anticipating.

"Thank God. Now gimme the dare."

Nayeon smirks. "Kiss the person you think is the hottest in this room."

The crowd let out an "oooh" and some were getting excited. Heck, even Dahyun couldn't help but cough at the dare. Dahyun knows that her friends are side glancing at her. Maybe concern, maybe feeling bad for her. Or whatever, Dahyun doesn't want to be looked at.

Okay, she wasn't ready for that shit. No way she's gonna let herself watch Sana kissing someone, especially that football player, Chanyeol.

But as painful as it is to watch, Dahyun managed to watch Sana. She doesn't want to look too obvious about not liking the dare. That would be so weird for her to show that she is, somehow, affected.

Sana stood up, her expression was unreadable. She then stood at the center of the circle. "No offense, guys." she informed, making them laugh.

Then the guys from football team starts cheering for Chanyeol, chanting the word "Kiss Chanyeol"

And maybe Dahyun couldn't really take it, so she looked down her cup of beer that was placed on the floor. She slowly takes it, pretending not to be interested.

Then she heard them gasps.

Was it done already? That was fast...

As soon as Dahyun tilted her head back up to drink,

She was faced by Sana, who was now standing in front of her. She almost spilled the drink on her shirt, too surprised to see her close.

What.

"There you go." Sana spoke. "You have to show me your face so I can kiss you." Sana casually stated.

And oh boy, Dahyun knows that everyone is watching them, waiting for the kiss. They were probably confused, shocked, or whatever by Sana's action. Even Chanyeol, who looks so confused.

Who would even thought that Sana would choose someone they never expected? Let alone a girl?

But Sana never really told them her sexuality. She's very open to everyone.

Each second passes by staring at each other's eyes were getting harder to breathe. Dahyun couldn't respond, she couldn't open her mouth and ask her what the heck is happening.

"Oh come on, just kiss already!" Nayeon encourages, a big grin on her face. "Kiss!"

And then everyone starts following the chant. Including their friends.

Despite the loud cheering and the people surrounding them. All Dahyun could really focus was the girl in front of her.

She tries to read Sana's expression, but she couldn't really tell what's in her mind behind that smile plastered on her face.

"...Is it okay?" Sana uttered, too softly that Dahyun was the only one could hear.

"Uh..." Dahyun gulps, chest heavy as she breathes. And why is her heart so loud that she could feel it jumping out.

"Just trust me." That was the last words Sana said before she leans her face close to Dahyun's. And the Korean closed her eyes in panic.

Without wasting time, Sana planted a soft kiss on Dahyun's left cheek. And Dahyun swore to God, it almost took three second for Sana to lean away.

The crowd screams, cheering for the successful dare. And it startled Dahyun, spilling her drink on her shirt.

"Oh my god, I'm sorry!" Sana panics in concern, though it wasn't really entirely her fault. Only the part where she made Dahyun fall harder than ever.

Dahyun stood up and gave Sana a small smile, "It's okay. It was my fault. Excuse me." and starts walking fast out of the crowd.

-----------------------

Dahyun stares at her stained white shirt in the mirror, or rather, she was actually spacing out, staring at her own reflection as she thought about the kiss Sana gave to her earlier.

Her cheeks were flushed. She couldn't tell if it was because of the drink or the kiss. Either way, it was so embarrassing how red she is.

She washed her face, shaking her head as she tries not to scream. "Oh my God..." She mumbled and stares at her face again. "Oh my God. This is the second time she kissed me..."

"THE SECOND FUCKING TIME--"

But then the door suddenly opened, revealing a tipsy Jeongyeon. "YO BRO, WHAT THE HECK?!" She laughs loudly at Dahyun.

"Close the door, Jeong." Dahyun panics and closes the door, locking it. "God, how did you even find me--"

"Holy shit, Dubs. You got kissed twice." She laughs loudly and playfully slaps Dahyun's arm. "Look who got a kiss from her crush!"

Dahyun rolled her eyes. "That was a dare."

"Still a fucking kiss to me." Jeongyeon countered.

"That was a friendly kiss." Dahyun protests, washing her hands once again.

"Yeah sure, then should I also give you a friendly kiss."

"Eww, get off me" she playfully shoves away Jeongyeon. "You're drunk." she grimaced at the older Korean.

"I'm not, you know that." Jeongyeon rolls her eyes as she took a gulp on her drink. "So, how does it feel, my buddy?" She wiggles her eyebrows at her.

"What do you mean? You know it wasn't a big deal--"

"Ick! Wrong answer!" Jeongyeon stick her tongue out to tease.

Dahyun sighed and faced Jeongyeon. "She just did that because everyone was watching. Everyone knows about that marriage booth. She just wants to play along." Dahyun denies, her friend snorted.

"Still wrong answer. Ick!" She crossed her forearm like an X. "You know damn well that's not true."

Dahyun frowned, "I swear to God, you need to rest. You're drunk."

"I'm not. You know I can punch you right now and if you get to dodge it, then I'm drunk." Jeongyeon smirks.

"Fine, you're not drunk. Now, can you shut up?" Dahyun glares.

"You keep avoiding. You're so annoying." Jeongyeon shakes her head. "Tell me, why would Sana choose you as the--"

"Maybe she just doesn't want me to look like a sore loser. Can we go now?"

Jeongyeon heavily sighs, slumping her shoulders in defeat. Then she stares at Dahyun. "You have to let me punch you for being st--"

"NO"

------------------

Dahyun stares at Nayeon in confusion. The older Korean suddenly called her to meet her at lunch break near the music room. Dahyun asked her why but she suddenly ended the call. So she has no other choice but to show up.

"I thought you wouldn't come." Nayeon grins.

"What is this for? Am I...Did I do something wrong?"

Nayeon playfully rolls her eyes. "Nothing like that. Relax, Tofu." She then approaches closer, as if they're in some secret dealing. "You're friends with Yoo, right?"

"Yes? I thought you already know that?"

"How about we make a deal?"

Dahyun frowns in confusion. "Deal? About what?"

Nayeon sighs. "It's simple. You help me with Jeongyeon, I'll help you with Sana"

Dahyun laughs nervously. "What? What made you-- Why do you think I want something or make a move to her?" Dahyun thought Nayeon's being hilarious.

Nayeon tilted her head and smirks, "Is that your way of denying? Try harder, Dahyun." Nayeon chuckles.

That made Dahyun stop from laughing. "...I'm not?"

"You sound unsure. Try again."

Dahyun let out a deep sigh. "Why would you-- Look, is this why you want to see me?" Nayeon smiles guiltily. "I thought you hate Jeongyeon?"

"Who said that?" Nayeon frowns.

"Jeongyeon."

"She said that?" Nayeon asks in disbelief.

"She thinks you are." Nayeon rolls her eyes playfully.

"You are as oblivious as your friend. No wonder." She then looks at her wristwatch. "Anyway, I have to go. See you around. And the deal is settled."

"What? I didn't even--"

But it was too late because Nayeon shoves her airpods on her ears then walks away, purposely ignoring Dahyun's protest.

What the hell...

-------------------

Nayeon never left her alone after that. She's been calling her to tell her that they should go out. And by that, with Jeongyeon and Sana.

Nayeon was really serious about the deal, Dahyun thought.

Dahyun was doing her best to ignore Nayeon's calls and messages, but the latter is too stubborn.

Nayeon informed her that Sana's coming with her (Actually tempting for Dahyun's part). She also said that Jeongyeon's coming with them.

At first, she thought that Nayeom was lying, so she texted Jeongyeon, only to find out that it was indeed true. So she has no other choice but to go.

Nayeon sent her the address, telling her to meet them there. But she's been waiting at the same place for fifteen minutes now, and there was no one. She was starting to get suspicious. So she tried to open her messenger, but then she received a photo sent by Nayeon.

Her eyes squinted as she looked at the photo. It was Nayeon and Jeongyeon, in a fucking restaurant. Then under that photo was Nayeon's message.

'Enjoy your date with, Sana! Sorry we have to change location for some alone time ;)'

That's when she realized that she was, no, both her and Sana, was set up by their two annoying friends.

But then...

Where is Sana?

"Dahyun?" A voice from behind called her.

Recognizing the voice, Dahyun was sure who it was. So she turns to see her.

Sana smiled, "What? Why do you look like you weren't expecting me here? Didn't Nayeon tell you?"

Dahyun could only stare, because oh boy, Sana is wearing a pink dress that's just above her knees, matched with her pink sandals and purse. She couldn't believe someone could be this extra attractive, day by day.

"Huh? Oh no, sorry" Dahyun nervously laughs, realizing that she was staring. "I thought... they're also gonna be here."

"Yeah." Sana nods, "Nayeon just texted me that she's with Jeongyeon. And I thought you already left."

Dahyun scratches her nape, "I don't... really know what to do."

Sana let out a hearty laugh. "Oh me neither." her white teeth showing as her smile widens. "But you know, we can just go somewhere if it's fine with you--"

"Of course! I mean, of course. Are you okay with it?" She almost squeaked at her words.

"Of course, jeez. Where do you wanna go?" Sana smiles and averts her gaze, looking around. "I actually have my car. If you want, we can go to my favorite restaurant. The prices there aren't really expensive and they serve good food." She excitedly stated and Dahyun didn't realized she was already wearing a dumb-like smile.

"Sure." She absentmindedly nods her head.

"Really?" Sana tilts her head. A little surprised at the fast agreement.

Dahyun shrugs, "Anywhere, really." She stops herself from saying more than that. Just by thinking of saying 'As long as I'm with you' cringes her.

"Cool! Now come on." Sana grins and suddenly held her wrist, pulling her to where her car was parked.

Sana's seatbelt was broken. But Dahyun didn't say a thing as she tries to pull it as careful as she can, not wanting to get attention. But there was only two of them, and the sound of pulling was too loud.

"Oh, I forgot, that seatbelts broken." Sana apologetically smiles and attempts to help but Dahgun stops her.

"It's fine, trust me." She almost yelped. She's never gonna be prepared of Sana being too close to her.

"But I am the only one who knows how to. Trust me, Dahyun." Sana chuckles, insisting to help.

And suddenly, words left Dahyun's mouth as she watches Sana's face leaning closer to her. She unconsciously closed her eyes, an automatic reaction to avoid the close proximity.

Then she heard Sana chuckle as she reached for the seatbelt and locked it on Dahyun. "There you go." Sana whispered, feeling her breath on the corner of Dahyun's lips before she goes back to her seat.

Dahyun was embarrassed after that, almost wanting to hit head against the window and pass out.

It even worsened when Sana suddenly spoke. "You know, you can just tell me if you want a kiss. I wouldn't mind." She teases, grinning as she watched how Dahyun blushes, crumpling on her seat like some sort of paper.

She didn't just said that, did she?

Now how would she even survive a day alone with Sana?

Dahyun just wants to dig a grave for her to dive in. Like. Right. Now.

---------------------

They have been in the restaurant Sana said for almost half of the hour. They got to talk as they eat.

But most of the talk was from Sana, and Dahyun was listening and would just respond or comment when she has to.

Sana speaks openly about her thoughts and feelings. And it was something Dahyun find very interesting. As if everything she says were some songs she would love to listen over and over again. And the way her expression changes time to time was so adorable, and how her voice changes from excitement to her normal voice.

Dahyun couldn't help but stare at the beauty. The way her eyes crinkles when she smiles. How her nose scrunches slightly when she frowns. Her big brown eyes that shows a lot more than the words she says. Just everything about her seems to be perfect, really.

How could she be possibly this beautiful inside and out? Dahyun refuses to believe she's a human like her.

"Sorry, did I bore you out?" Sana apologetically smiles.

"What?" Dahyun was brought back to reality. "No, no it's not that. I was actually listening to your voice."

"Oh..." Sana looks a little surprised at her response. And she saw how her cheeks were slowly tinted pink. "Is that so?" She lets out a small laugh.

Then a waiter came, smiling at the both of them. "Do you guys need anything more? You look like you're enjoying a lot." then looks at Sana, as if teasing.

"Thanks, Lisa. We're actually heading out now" Then looks at Dahyun, and the latter nods her head to confirm. "We enjoyed the food. Tell Rosé the food's great."

"I'll tell her that. She's been wondering if you already found a new favorite, instead, you actually took some time to bring--"

"Stop right there." Sana chuckles, playfully slapping Lisa's arm. "You and your mouth."

"Chaeng's favorite mouth." Lisa wiggles her eyebrows, then looks at Dahyun who was watching them in amusement. "Nice to finally meet you, Dahyun-ssi"

The Korean bows, "It's nice to meet you too uh, Lisa?" The waiter smiled brightly at that. But there was a little confusion on Dahyun's face.

Have I already introduced myself?

---------------------

Their group of friends were hanging out at Jeongyeon's. This time, it was just really them.

They're in the living room, drinking and having some fun conversation, except for Dahyun who excused herself to use the restroom,

But she took more time than she should. She's been watching her friends, leaning against the wall where she can't be seen. She actually wanted a moment to sober up, staying there would be harder for her because Momo won't leave her alone by giving drinks.

"Watching the wife out?"

"Mother of Chri--!" Dahyun almost jumped out of surprise at the sudden voice behind. It was Jeongyeon. "How did you even get there?" She asks in horror.

"My house, remember?" She smugly said. "I have shortcuts, and it's not like you would notice me, you were busy staring at your girl"

"Wha-- I'm not." Dahyun said in defense. She mentally slapped herself for stuttering.

"Sure." Jeongyeon half-heartedly respond. "Are you going to just stare at her?"

"Of course not, I'm going back once--"

"That's not what I meant." Jeongyeon playfully rolls her eyes.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"You do." Jeongyeon countered.

Dahyun sighed in defeat. "I hate you when you're right."

"No, you don't"

There was a moment of silence between the two.

"I'm scared, Jeong"

"Of what?"

"Admitting? Confessing?" Dahyun sighed heavily, a faint smile on her face. "The outcome? Maybe all of it." And she watched how Sana laughs at whatever Nayeon was saying.

"But isn't Sana worth the chance?" Jeongyeon asks, eyes were on their friends.

"Of course she's worth it." Dahyun immediately answered. "But I'm... I'm not sure if I am..."

"Dahyun, don't say that." Jeongyeon pats her shoulder. "As cringe as it is to say, but you're more than what you think you are." She added with such sincerity. "Why are you doubting?"

"Why not?" Dahyun asks back, hopeless.

Jeongyeon chuckled at her response. "But really, it might be easy to say and hard to do..." She placed her arm over the latter's shoulder. "But tell Sana how you feel. Take the chance."

"But what if Sana's just playing along? Playing around? What if she's just being friendly, you know?"

"But would you let yourself stay like that? I would rather get scolded for taking off Mr. Won's wig than just stare at it when I could just grab it." Jeongyeon stated, referring to their  professor, and Dahyun looked at her in amusement.

"What the heck?"

"What I'm saying is, you should take the chance while it's still there. You just fear rejection, Dahyun."

"Ouch" Dahyun exclaimed.

"Well, a good medicine tastes bitter." Jeongyeon chuckles and pats Dahyun's butt. "Take the risk or lose the chance." Then left to walk back where the other was.

------------------

Their little party's still going on. Most of them were wasted. Dahyun could only watch how Momo was rolled down the floor by Chaeyoung, who was laughing hysterically. Mina and Tzuyu was watching the two, giggling like some kids being entertained.

She noticed that three of them was missing. Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Sana. She remembered that the Japanese excused herself to go to the restroom, but Dahyun felt like she must be lost because most of them don't really know the way to the restroom, and Jeongyeon was nowhere to be found.

So to be sure, Dahyun excused herself to them, who by the way, are too drunk to even hear a thing.

She was walking in the hallway and saw two rooms. She was about to walk passed the first one but then she heard something dropped, she flinched.

Thinking it was Sana, she immediately walked towards the room and opened the door.

Only to see two naked bodies in a bed. Dahyun screamed in horror and immediately closes the door. Dahyun backs away, couldn't even figure out if she was just in pure shock or disgusted.

It was Nayeon and Jeongyeon, doing the deed.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Nayeon was surprised though she didn't really saw who opened the door. "I thought you locked the door?!"

"I did!" Jeongyeon curses under her breath. And Dahyun heard footsteps coming closer, then a head peeks at the door. "Hey, you didn't see anything, did--"

Dahyun tilts her head up and shut her eyes. "FOR FUCK'S SAKE JEONGYEON, I COULD LITERALLY SEE YOUR BOOB PEEKING."

"Oh, jeez. Chill." Jeongyeon laughs, but then she heard Nayeon calling out her name. "I don't know what you're doing here, but yeah ignore this room. Bye." Then she closes and locks the door, leaving Dahyun with a terrified look.

She swore to God she would never open doors she don't even know. Never. Again.

Once she realized that she was still there, she immediately left the place, and before she could even knock on the restroom (which she regret not doing earlier), the door suddenly opened. It revealed Sana whose face were a little red. She looked a little surprise to see Dahyun.

"Hi" Sana cheekily greets. "Are you going to use it?"

Dahyun blinks. "Uh, no. I was... I actually thought you got lost." She scratches her nape.

"Sorry, I took long. I was indeed lost." Sana chuckles, "But I saw a stair up to the rooftop. Jeongyeon's house is so cool" She exclaimed with a big smile.

"Do you wanna go there?" Dahyun suggests, mirroring Sana's smiling face.

"Really? Will it be okay for Jeongyeon? Should I go ask--" but before Sana could even walk, Dahyun instantly held her wrist.

"I... I don't think that would be a good idea." Dahyun almost squeaked, feeling embarrassed as she remembered what she just witnessed. And for God's sake, she wouldn't let Sana see something traumatizing. "I'm sure she uh, wouldn't mind." She shrugs.

Sana tilts her head, wearing a smile though she was a little confused. "That's great then. Come on, I wanna see what's up there." She excitedly said and grab Dahyun's hand.

-----------------

"Wow, this place is refreshing." Sana stated as she looks around. "She should've let us stay here instead."

"I'm afraid about that." Dahyun chuckles, that made Sana look at her in anticipation. "If you saw how Momo was rolled down the floor by Chaeyoung, you literally wouldn't want her rolling down the ground floor."

Sana heartily laughed. "Oh God, that would be hilarious."

Then Dahyun noticed that Sana was still holding her hand, her hold weren't tight but firm enough not to let go. Dahyun wonders if Sana also noticed it, or was just too distracted at the view here at the rooftop. Either way, Dahyun doesn't want her to go of it, especially when she could feel how soft and warm her hand is against hers.

And when she looked up, she caught Sana already staring at her, but then looks away, trying not to smile. "Shall we find a spot to sit on?" She asks without looking at her.

Dahyun let Sana drag her. They took the spot near a wall, where the door was. Sana had to let go of her hand to tap the dust clean, and so did Dahyun.

Both sat on the ground, backs pressed against the wall behind them. They were looking at the night sky. There weren't too many stars, but the moon was so bright, it was impossible not to look at.

"I should've brought my beer." Dahyun half-heartedly said. She really just want to start a conversation.

"Same." Sana sighs, then she looks at her, now looking at Dahyun's side profile. "Say, Dahyun..."

That got Dahyun to stare back at her and hummed, waiting for her to continue.

"Nothing." Sana giggles and looked away, now staring whatever was in front of her.

"Come on, you just left me hanging like that." Dahyun jests, eyes never left Sana's side profile. And Dear Goodness, she still gets surprised every time she looks at her.

How could she even be that beautiful?

"It's just a random thought." Sana shrugs.

"I'm willing to listen, you know."

That's when Sana finally looked back, wearing a small smile that looks so warm for Dahyun's heart. "Do you like someone?"

Okay. She didn't expect that one.

Dahyun's eyebrows raised in question, as if asking if she was hearing that right. "Ah...That?" She let out a nervous laugh, averting her gaze to look down her crossed legs. "You mean like? Like-like? Or like...?"

Sana had to laugh at her cute way of asking. It was obvious that she was getting shy as her face were getting red. "Whatever your mind thinks about that question."

That didn't help Dahyun. But well, maybe her mind was just too jumbled for her to even understand a thing. "Uh, well..."

She suddenly remembered Jeongyeon's advice for her. For her feelings. And the doubt to confess.

Dahyun took all the courage to say the one word she was dying to say. "You..."

There was a moment of silence. And Dahyun was scared to look up and see the latter's expression, but Sana wasn't saying anything. So she forced herself to look up, only to see Sana staring right back at her with unreadable expression.

Fuck, was that too much? Too overwhelming? Was it...weird?

And out of panic, Dahyun let out a laugh. Too fake. "I mean like, I like you like how everyone does. E-Everyone likes you, because you're likeable and... uh, friendly."

Awkward.

The silence was screaming. And Dahyun just wanted to dig a hole or just jump out of Jeongyeon's house and disappear.

"Sorry, I was blabbering, wasn't I?" Dahyun wanted to punch herself because she doesn't kmow what to do right at this moment, and the fact that Sana was just staring and weren't talking worsened.

"No umm..." Sana voice cracked and that made her clear her throat after that minutes of silence. "I was just, taken aback." Sana let out a low chuckle. "But it's good to know you cleared that. I am happy that you like me, Dahyun."

Dahyun saw how Sana slowly flashes a smile, but her teeth weren't showing, making her cheeks puff cutely. "O-Of course, it's hard not to."

Sana stood up and pats her behind to remove the dusts, she then stretches her arms. So Dahyun did the same, standing up and patting the back of hers.

She was a little disappointed how her confession failed like that. It was her first attempt, and she feels like she wouldn't have the same courage again. Not even sure if she could still tell her how she feels. Dahyun's sure that Jeongyeon would be disappointed for taking back her words.

But seeing Sana's unreadable reaction. Her lack of words. It made her feel anxious and scared. Maybe she was expecting a better reaction.

Did I really expect that much? Why did I even thought it would be possible to get reciprocated?

It's not like she likes me the same way I do.

Now I know that she only see me as a friend. And nothing more than that...

"Are you going to watch the football game tomorrow?" Sana suddenly asks, glancing at Dahyun.

"Are you?" Dahyuns asks back, avoiding her gaze.

"Of course, we have to give support for our school's football team. It would also be fun because we don't have a class." Sana grins.

"Maybe..." That made Sana's grin drop.

"Maybe? You're not sure?" She tilts her head, a light frown on her face.

"I'll think about it." Dahyun flashes a big smile to hide her hesitation. And she was still really disappointed earlier, she could feel her hands shaking a little. "We should head back, they're probably looking for us."

And without a word, she starts walking towards the door. Sana following behind, eyes were still in confusion.

Dahyun wasn't really sure if she could attend the game. She wasn't even planning to go.

Funny as it is, her reason was because Chanyeol would be playing, that was obvious. And Sana's there to watch them play. And Dahyun's not sure if she could handle it without really hurting herself.

Because who is she to be jealous? Why was she expecting so much after that damn Marriage booth that was sure just a play thing.

Jeongyeon was right, she was really getting into that role of Sana's wife. Painfully funny. Pathetic. Hopeless.

-----------------

Dahyun and Chaeyoung were both heading towards the game field. They were assigned to buy some drinks and snacks for their friends. Lucky enough, the place is not yet too crowded or they would be squeezing with bunch of people.

"What happened to you last night anyways? You and Sana disappeared." Chaeyoung suddenly spoke. "Did you guys--" but before she could even continue, she was cut off by a glaring Dahyun.

"Stop right there. Where did you even hear that?"

"Hear?" Chaeyoung chuckles. "The two of you were missing that night."

"So is Jeongyeon and Nayeon." Dahyun said in defense.

"Yeah? And we all know what they were doing." Chaeyoung chuckles. "Does that mean you-- ouch!" Dahyun stomped on her foot, stopping her from talking.

"I swear to God, Son Chaeyoung. There's a sea of people here and they might think it wrongly." The Korean grumbled. "And no, there was nothing. It was the opposite."

That made Chaeyoung stop for a moment, looking at Dahyun's frown. "Wait, did something happen?" She asks in concern.

Dahyun half-heartedly shrugs, "Well, I kind of confessed..." Chaeyoung's mouth was apart hearing her words. "But I think... I think she didn't get that part? Or maybe she did, but pretended she didn't understood..."

"So what did you do?"

"Lied? Took back my words?" Dahyun shrugs and sighs deeply. "But at least now I know where we actually stand." Dahyun gave her a faint smile. "No worries. We should hurry back inside or someone steals our seat." then starts walking fast, almost leaving Chaeyoung behind

"Are you sure Sana didn't say anything?" Chaeyoung kept up with her fast walk. "Not even a reaction?" She was frowning in confusion.

Dahyun just shook her head.

"Weird..."

"What weird?"

"Nothing, let's just hurry."

-----------------

The football game has ended. It was an intense game. And well, their School won the game.

Dahyun wants to say she really had fun with how the game was and how her friends were screaming and cheering loudly, but then she couldn't even help but notice how Chanyeol would keep glancing at Sana's direction while they're in the bleachers.

And Dahyun knows she was nothing more than the football player. She accepted that fact, especially after that night at Jeongyeon's.

"I overheard the football team that Chanyeol is going to ask Sana out tonight at the celebration party." Someone from behind Dahyun spoke.

She was in the restroom with few other girls. Everyone was expected to attend the celebration party, so most of them were already heading there or going home to change.

"Really? I thought they're already dating" Another girl spoke. Dahyun purposely slows washing her hands, just to listen a few more, even if it's so hard to swallow.

"I don't really know, but it's pretty obvious. They're into each other."

"They would be a cute couple."

"I kind of envy Sana. Lots of the handsome men likes her."

"True, but it would be a relief that she will finally be with Chanyeol. That would mean we're gonna have a chance to the others." The three girls were giggling.

And Dahyun has been staring at her hands, still getting soaked by the water.

Maybe I shouldn't just come...

I would rather stay home than see what's going to happen at the party.

------------------------

Dahyun informed her friends in their groupchat that she couldn't come. She reasoned that her parents needs her tonight and she can't refuse it.

It didn't went easy, of course. Her friends were trying to change her mind and telling her how they know she was lying, but Dahyun was thankful that Chaeyoung helped her get out. She was the only one who knew about what happened that night, so she understood why she was trying to avoid anything that involves Sana.

And now Dahyun was staring at her reflection inside her bathroom. She was brushing her teeth, and she was ready to sleep although it was still early for her to do so.

It's not like she has something else to do. All her mind was thinking is Sana. Everything she does. Every moment they had. Her smile. Her laugh. They're all having a playback in her mind as if the big man from above was purposely trying to make her cry.

You know you really miss someone, when you crave something so simple, like the sound of their voice.

And Dear Heaven's sake, Dahyun is sure that her head was already fucked up because she could literally hear Sana's laughter somewhere.

Is she missing Sana that badly? It hasn't been a day since they didn't see each other.

Do I really like her that much?

Her eyebrows knitted, stopping herself from brushing her teeth as she heard another giggle that sounds like Sana. She slapped her forehead, trying to stop whatever her mind was trying to do.

"Wake up and smell the coffee, Dahyun. Stop deluding yourself." She mumbled to herself. "You really are hopeless, aren't you?"

But it still bothers her. So to stop her mind from playing around. She decided to go downstairs after brushing her teeth.

It was weird how it sounded so real. Her frown deepened when her Mom starts talking. She was sure her Father left already like an hour ago. So who the heck is....

And as soon as she gets in the living room, she was greeted by Sana, smiling at her from ear to ear. Her Mother was also looking at her with raised eyebrows.

What.

"What-- How did you get--"

"Jeongyeon sent me your address." Sana apologetically smiles, "I thought I'd get lost but Mrs. Kim saw me outside."

Mrs. Kim placed her hands on her waist, eyebrows still raised at her daughter. "How could you let your friend walk around outside alone? You should've showed up outside."

"I..." Dahyun lost her voice.

"Oh no, Mrs. Kim. I actually came here without telling her." Sana shyly stated, glancing at Dahyun. "And like I told you, I'm here to pick her up."

"Pick me up? For w-what?" Dahyun's eye widened. "I told you I'm not coming--"

"You clearly lied to them, did you? Jeongyeon-ssi just texted me asking if we really need you right now."

Dahyun was doomed. Caught. In front of Sana who was now looking at her in amusement.

"Uh, let me explain..." Dahyun nervously laughs, "I don't feel like going out"

"Tofu baby..." Dahyun squeaked at how her mom called her. In front of Sana? Really Mom?

"You should hang out with them. It's not always, okay? And you're graduating. You wouldn't get to parties like how you use to once you start working."

Sana smiles smugly, as if telling Dahyun that her Mom was very right. "You don't have to stay long, Dahyun. You just... have to be there."

Dahyun sighed in defeat.

-----------------

"Why do I have to be there?" Dahyun stated as they were driving to the party using Sana's car. "It's not like something would change if I'm not present."

Sana chuckles, "Jeongyeon and Momo keeps bothering me to get you there." She stole a glance at Dahyun. "And it's not very fun without you there."

Dahyun forced herself not to crack a smile at her words. "Why? What would I even do there? All I do is watch you guys get wasted."

"Trust me, it's different when you're there..." Sana stated softly. "And now we're here."

Both of them got out from the car. And before they could even start walking, Sana held her hand and surprised Dahyun.

But when she looked to see Sana, she seems to be casual about it. Like it has been normal for them to hold hands. But then again, Sana hold hands with every friends of hers.

And by how calm she was compared to Dahyun. She was sure that it's not a big deal for Sana.

So she lets her drag her inside, while she prepares herself for the upcoming heartache that's about to hit her hard.

-----------------

Her friends were playing beer pong. And Dahyun just watched them, entertained by the bickering of Nayeon and Jeongyeon.

But she couldn't help herself from getting bothered. Sana wasn't where they are, and she keeps looking around to see where she was.

"Looking for the wife?" Chaeyoung spoke beside her, teasing.

Dahyun playfully rolls her eyes, "We're getting divorced."

Chaeyoung pats her shoulder. "You're not sure about that, My buddy."

"Stop giving me high hopes. You know what happened."

"That was one time." Chaeyoung countered.

"One time was enough." Dahyun uttered. "I can't handle multiple stabs."

"Then dodge it." Chaeyoung jests. "You are already expecting the stabs, Dahyun. It's not even there yet."

Dahyun stopped, then looks at her friend. Chaeyoung's eyes were darted towards their friends playing, but her presence were still there for Dahyun.

"But I know it's somewhere."

"You still have the time to do something about it." Chaeyoung finally looks back at her with raised eyebrows.

"How?"

"Tell her."

"It's no use. Chanyeol's gonna ask her out tonight." Dahyun took a deep breathe and sighs.

"What do you think Sana would say?" That made Dahyun silent, suddenly imagining the scenario of the two.

"...I am not Sana"

Chaeyoung chuckles, "Exactly. Oh, talking about Sana..." Chaeyoung nods at a direction, and Dahyun followed her line of vision.

Then she saw Sana and Chanyeol walking together, walking away from the party.

"I don't... What am I even gonna do? Jump on them and stop them?" Her voice cracked at that, she had to clear her throat to stop the choking feeling inside her throat.

"It depends on you." Chaeyoung sighs, "But whether you do something or not, you're gonna get stabbed anyways, but at least you did something."

Dahyun could only look down on her feet. Then she saw the cup of beer reached for her.

"Drink?" Tzuyu suddenly came , confused at how the two looks too serious. Dahyun took it without hesitance, then took big gulp. "What happened?"

"Going through divorce." Chaeyoung jests.

Dahyun could only stare at the cup of beer. Accepting defeat. "Coward, aren't I?"

------------------

Dahyun was wasted. And she was laying on the couch. Half dead.

Her friends let her stay there for a moment before readying to leave. Then she heard someone talk.

"Dahyun, are you that drunk?" Jeongyeon asks, frowning at the latter. Dahyun was never the type of person who let herself get so drunk that she couldn't even stand up.

"I might've had too much drink." Dahyun mumbled, eyes closed. "Tzu and Chae?" She asks.

"Passed out. How much have you had?" Jeongyeon chuckles.

"Not sure." Dahyun scrunched her face, trying to remember. "I wanna go home." She closed her eyes again, feeling dizzy.

Then Dahyun noticed that Jeongyeon wasn't alone, beside her was Sana, silently watching them.

"Sana's gonna take you home--"

"I'm coming with you, Jeong." Dahyun cut her off.

Jeongyeon stole a glance at Sana. "I... I think it would be better if you go with Sana"

"I'm coming with you, Jeong." Dahyun repeated, firm this time.

"But Nayeon's with me. She's hella drunk. I can't handle two drunkass." Jeongyeon stated, though concern was visible on her eyes.

Dahyun opened her eyes and looks at Jeongyeon, she was doing her best not to spare a glance at the Japanese girl who looks concerned. "...Please?"

Jeongyeon knows that Dahyun's avoiding Sana. She has been doing that the whole party. And to Jeongyeon, it was understandable. She was heaving some heartbreak.

"I guess I'll take care of her" Jeongyeon spoke to Sana. "But thank you for offering help."

"It's fine..." Sana's voice were low. It could be because she was tired, or she just don't want Dahyun to hear her talk. "Then I'll get going."

"Sure, thanks again, Sana."

"Didn't really help much." Sana smiles.

And before Sana left. Dahyun felt someone touching her cheek, it was so warm that Dahyun almost drift off to sleep.

"Goodnight, Dahyunie..."

-----------------

After that night, Dahyun kept her distance from Sana.

She thought that maybe Chanyeol finally asked Sana out, to be his girlfriend or whatever. And just by thinking how Sana accepted it, she could feel her stomach flipping nack and forth that she just wanted to throw up.

And remembering how she avoided Sana at the party and how she refused to go with her when she was drunk was enough to make her hate herself.

She's sure that Sana noticed her avoidance too. And probably hates her now, if not, she was probably disappointed.

"You look dead." Tzuyu said dryly.

"I am. Thanks for reminding me." Dahyun half-heartedly stated and sighs.

"Still avoiding your wife?" Chaeyoung asks.

"Oh God, stop calling her that. It's not funny anymore." Dahyun grumbled.

"Who said it's funny?" Chaeyoung chuckles. "So, what are you gonna do?"

"Are you still expecting me to do something? It's clear that I have nothing to do with her anymore." She stated with eyebrows knitted. "And I know she knows that I'm avoiding her, she probably hates me now."

"Actually..." Jeongyeon joins in, giving out a slight wince, "She has been looking for you since then. She said you weren't returning her calls or her messages."

"Jerk." Chaeyoung commented, making Dahyun gasp in offense.

"You're not fighting with Sana, are you?" Tzuyu asked, a little clueless, but knows enough that there's something wrong.

"We're not fighting" Dahyun said quietly, "I'm just..."

"Ah, just avoiding?" Chaeyoung butts in.

"Obviously." Dahyun mumbled in defeat. "It's better this way, I think. We don't have a thing in the first place." Tzuyu snorted at that.

"What are you doubting, Dahyun? It was right in front of you."

"And your mother likes her." Chaeyoung added. Dahyun laughs, but it was an empty laugh. Like there was nothing but dullness.

"But she don't." Dahyun sighs and clasp her hands. "You know what, that's enough. We should start heading at Jeongyeon's"

"She's gonna be there." Jeongyeon winced after saying that, making Dahyun stop in an instant.

"And you didn't tell me sooner?!" Dahyun was in disbelief.

"We know you'll refuse." Tzuyu said in defense. "And there's no turning back."

"Worried? Thought you don't have anything in the first place?" Chaeyoung tilts her head on the side, teasing.

"No."

"And Sana doesn't deserve being left in the cold, right?"

Dahyun sighed in defeat. "...You're right"

"Good. You're coming."

And Dahyun was held hostage by the three demons.

-----------------

"You're not gonna do the dirty there, right?" Dahyun spoke as they walk towards Jeongyeon's house.

"Oh my god, I almost forgot you caught us."

"Eww" Chaeyoung uttered while Tzuyu showed disgust.

"Yeah that was gross." Dahyun agreed to the two younger ones. "I saw two pairs of butts."

Jeongyeon cackled. "Just butts?"

"And your boob peeking. Thank God, It was just that, or I would literally go dive into my own grave."

"That must be traumatizing." Chaeyoung jests.

"I would go bleach my eyes." Tzuyu added.

"Yah! It wasn't disgusting. Nayeon's--"

"Too much information, Jeongyeon!"

------------------

"Guys, Jeongyeon and I decided we should head to the rooftop." Nayeon grins at them.

"So suddenly?" Mina asks.

"Yeah, Momo suggested it."

"I did?" Momo asks, eyes in question. Then Nayeon nudged her side. "Oh, yeah I guess I did." She shrugs.

"That would be cool! I wanted to say the same earlier" Sana excitedly said, then stole a glance at Dahyun who was purposely avoiding eye contact.

Nayeon handed Sana some snacks. "You shoud get there first." And Sana gladly did.

Then Jeongyeon handed Dahyun two bottles of beers. "You should head there and we'll follow."

"But Sana is--"

"You can come back as soon as you put that there."

"But I can handle more than two, Jeong. Let me just carry the case--"

"Then there will be no left for us." Jeongyeon mumbled.

"What?" Dahyun didn't quite heard that.

"Nothing. Just get your ass up there. I'm following behind you." Jeongyeon pats bery back and gently pushed her.

"What about the others?"

"They're coming, just taking the stuffs."

And once Dahyun stepped in out of the door. It suddenly closed, startling her. Then door lock clicked.

"What the heck? Yah! What are you trying to do?" She was starting to panic, forcefully turning the door kmob even though it was impossible. Jeongyeon locked it inside.

"I'm sorry, Dubs." But Jeongyeon was obviously holding back her laugh. "But trust me, you'll thank us--"

"I'm gonna kill you." Dahyun stated between gritted teeth.

"Yeah sure." Jeongyeon half-heartedly said.

Dahyun hissed and leans  her head against the door. "Jeongyeon, please open the goddamn door."

"I'm sorry, Dubs"

"You really are not sorry."

"You're right. Now stay there with your wife. I'm leaving--"

"Yah! If you're not gonna open this door--" but she was cut off by someone. And by that someone...

"Dahyun?"

Fuck. Now she was left with Sana. In the same rooftop she had confessed. She reminded herself to kill Jeongyeon and her accomplices.

She let out a sigh of defeat before she faced the confused Sana, but she was actually looking behind Sana, avoiding her eyes once again. "The door's locked."

"What?"

"And Jeongyeon ran away after." She could hear the footsteps behind fading, plus Jeongyeon devilish laugh.

They have no other choice.

"Maybe I, should uh, call them." Dahyun was panicking inside, and she was trying her best to contact all of them but no one was answering.

What did she expect? They're probably told by that couple not to.

Dahyun was cursing under her breath, glaring at her friend's contact names.

"Is being with me that bad?" Sana suddenly spoke, eyes looking at Dahyun. So she looked up, only to see those unreadable gaze once again. Dahyun couldn't guess a thing what's on her mind.

They just stared into each other's eyes for a good minute. Both were trying to search for the words that they left in the days when they refused to talk to each other. Or rather those days Dahyun refused to talk to her and ignored her.

Then Sana sighed, eyes never left her. "Dahyun, why are you avoiding me?"

Dahyun stayed silent, trying hard not to break their eye contact because that would just show how guilty she was.

"Do you wish I would leave you alone?

"What-- no..."

"Then why?" Her eyes showed something that broke Dahyun on her spot. "Did I do something wrong? Did I cross a line?"

"N-No, it's not like that." Dahyun bit the inside of her cheek, unable to tell.her the truth. "You did nothing wrong..."

"Then... Can you tell me the reason?" Her voice were low, as if she was afraid it would crack if she says it louder. Dahyun looked down on her feet. "I know you were avoiding me, but I just couldn't tell what's the main reason for that..."

"I don't think this should be something we should talk about right now, Sana..."

"Was it about that night?" Sana ignored her refusal to talk. "Here in this same spot?"

That made Dahyun look up, eyes wide in surprise.

"I feel like I did something wrong that night..." Sana faintly smiled. "I'm afraid to ask you but, was it... when I asked you if you like someone?"

Dahyun for froze on her spot, unable to respond, because it was true. That's when she started to avoid Sana. But how did she figured that out?

"When you said that you like me..." Sana let out a weak chuckle, "I was... surprised. And I couldn't respond because I was unsure if I heard that right or was just imagining it."

Dahyun was clearly surprised by her words. And seeing Sana's state right now made her feel something, like the urge to hug her and tell her the truth.

"But then..." Sana shrugs, trying to smile as she continues, "You said that you like me like how everyone does, and that made me think that you really just see me as a friend."

Dahyun averts her gaze, refusing to look at those brown eyes that were holding back the sadness and disappointment. "I don't think we should talk about this, Sana. I don't want to meddle between you and Chanyeol--"

"Meddle?" Sana asks in confusion, unintentionally cutting her off.

Dahyun deeply sighs and nods, "I know that Chanyeol asked you out." She flashed a smile that didn't reach her eyes. "And that night, I knew I lost the chance already..."

"Did you see me with him these past few days?"

"What?"

"Did you see me hanging out with him? You didn't, right?"

Dahyun went silent.

"Dahyun..." Sana sighs, a little disappointed. "I rejected him."

"What?" Shock was visible on her face.

"I thought it was clear to you..." Sana stated softly. "I have a wife, remember?"

Dahyun thought Sana was just playing around; playing along with their friends, but it was just really Dahyun's mind playing with her. Sana has been as clear as sky. Has been honest. And has been obvious about her liking towards Dahyun.

"I bet you still don't know that it was my idea to list you and pair with me in that marriage booth." Sana's smile were slowly growing as she watched Dahyun's surprised face.

"And I bet you still don't know that I've been crushing on you since sophomore..."

"...W-What"

Sana took a step closer, but was careful not to freak Dahyun out. "I was so afraid to approach you because I know you're a little quiet and introverted. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable."

Sana chuckles. "So that night at Momo's party, I begged her to introduce me to you. Do you remember?"

Of course she did remember. She was too awkward that night and was regretting how she acted until now. And the fact that she never knew that Sana was interested in her made it worst.

"It was so bold of me, right? And I took that chance to get closer to you 'cause I want to take the chance." Sana shrugs, smile dropped. "But I guess it doesn't really work like how I wanted it."

Dahyun watched how Sana took her phone out.

"I want to say sorry if I made you feel awkward and uncomfortable. I was thinking ahead of the good possibilities that I didn't realized how it would be too overwhelming for you. But don't worry, it won't happen again." She gave Dahyun a reassuring smile before she walks towards the door.

And when she was about to call one of their friends, Dahyun finally had the courage to speak.

"Sana, wait!"

Sana stopped and faced Dahyun. She was looking at her, eyes were anticipating for her to continue despite what happened just seconds ago.

"Do you want to say something?" She softly spoke.

"I..." Dahyun was breathing heavily. Her mind was still processing everything that happened and what is happening, but it was too much that she couldn't even decide the words she should say,

But one thing was for sure. She doesn't want to mess this up. Not again.

Then Sana starts walking closer, and closer to her again. "Tell me, Dahyun..." There was a safe distance between then, but close enough to talk. "Why do we know, but act like we don't?"

"Because I don't want to assume, Sana. I don't want to think that this..." She referred to what they have. "Whatever we have, between us, is something very mportant to you--"

"Do you think I would spend my time with someone just because?" Sana let out a soft giggle, then she shook her head out of amusement. "And here I thought I was being too obvious. Found out Nay was right, you really are naive, Dahyun."

"I... I was unsure because you were just giving hints, and I was... frustrated." Dahyun mumbled, unable to fully defend herself.

"It's because I don't want you to feel like you are obliged to like me back just because I like you." Sana responded, sincere with her words.

"So we were really stabbing each other unintentionally, huh?" Sana tilts her head a little, smiling though confused. "...I do feel the same. Ever since. They know about that..."

"That?" Sana encourages.

"...I really like you" It was barely a whisper.

"What?" Sana's smile got wider this time, cheekbones prominent.

"You heard me..." Dahyun's red cheeks were so adorable that Sana had to hold back herself from kissing it.

"And what are you gonna do about that, hmm?" Sana got even closer.

Dahyun hesitantly shrugs, "I'm... I don't know?" She almost winced.

"Should I...give you options?" Dahyun stared in confusion. "Do you, let's say, feel like wanting to hold my hand? Or kiss me?"

"K-Kiss?" Dahyun's eyes were wide, caught surprised by the bold options.

Sana giggles before she spoke, "I told you that you could kiss me if you wanted. Didn't I tell you?"

Dahyun's mind went completely blank for a second. "I...I thought you were kidding?"

"I wasn't." Sana pouted at her.

"Oh..."

"Oh?" Sana playfully raised her eyebrows. "Shouldn't you lean in and just kiss me? Or are you waiting for me to lean in instead? Like the usual?" She was clearly loving the teasing, and Dahyun was impossibly red.

"...Maybe"

"Maybe what?"

Dahyun snorted, couldn't help but find their situation funny. Why was she even being so shy?

"Maybe I am waiting for your kiss..." And bit her lip, the words she said were quite new to her.

"That's what I thought." Sana stated before she held Dahyun's hands, pulling her gently before she leans for a kiss.

Dahyun's eyes automatically closed feeling the warmth and softness of Sana's lips. And how she could feel Sana smiling between their shared kiss.

The world around her disappeared and there was only Sana. Sana's lips. Sana's touch. Sana's scent. And just Sana.

Then Sana slowly pulled away, smiling from ear to ear. Hands still holding Dahyun's. "So I'm assuming this will be our first day?"

Dahyun chuckles, "I thought we just got hitched?"

"Well, we did, didn't we?" Sana nods as she laughs, "And that means you're gonna get stuck with me."

"Oh, I don't mind. Not at all." Both of them giggled.

"I'm Happy I got to tell you the truth." Sana stated with her fond smile. "I was really scared our relationship would drift just like that..."

"Me too..." Dahyun whispers.

Then suddenly the door opened, revealing their friends.

Momo sighed in relief, "Thank God, they're still okay."

"What?"

"What?" Momo innocently looks at her friends. "I heard the words stabbing each other, okay? I thought they meant LITERAL STABBING"

"Well, thankfully they did not." Jeongyeon smirks at the two of them. "NOW WE HAVE TO CELEBRATE FOR THE NEW COUPLE!" She cheers.

"MISSION SUCCEED!" Nayeon followed. "NOW LET'S GET DRUNK!"
