“I can’t believe I’m sitting in space jail with you, of all people.” Philza says, staring at his cellmate. The Captain, in all his glory, star-dusted skin sparkling as the man grins, all sharp teeth and amusement.
"What's so surprising about it?" Jordan asks, stretching as the cuffs around his wrists cover his hands completely, locking it up in one neat little pod-like device.
"You're the Captain. You haven't been caught in years, even if there have been a few close calls ever since you adopted the little princess." Philza inclines his head, wings rustling. They hadn't bound them. They couldn't bind them.
"I could say the same for you, Mr. Angel of Death, conqueror of the Antarctic. A whole planet, Phil. Even with Techno, still. And yes, that little princess is why I'm here. Crumb is adorable, really, I love her, but she tends to get herself in the worst situations. She managed to get kidnapped, obviously, I freaked, and now I'm in here for murder." Jordan sighs, resting his head against the wall.
"I'm surprised it didn't become Nebula 2.0." Philza noted, smiling.
"I didn't want to risk hurting Crumb while I was raging. So no world-destroying. Yet. I sent her off with some reliable contacts, and let myself be taken in so I could finish the job." Jordan laughs, the Lucere's skin glowing faintly, little constellations dotting his arms. Powering-up. "Enough about me, what about you? Why are you in space jail, Philza Minecraft?"
Phil chuckles awkwardly, looking away as Jordan stared insistently at him.
"For harboring a Draconic." Phil sighs, relenting.
"For that? Why did you get caught? You could have taken them down, easily." Jordan questions, bemused.
"Remember my kid, Wilbur? He picked up this boy. He's the Draconic, name's Tommy. One with a raging temper. He said the wrong things, nearly got caught, and just like you, I traded Tommy for myself." Phil explains, standing up as he talked.
"But why? Just wrap them up and destroy everything. I would have felt it." Jordan tilts his head, interested.
"Because they had some friends in the city they wanted to get out, blah blah blah. They should be safe, but it's just nice to take a short breather. Never hurts to be careful, either." Phil cocks his head, listening, rooting around before dipping into guitarbrownhairchocolate and blondeskyblueyesorangeredfire, mingled among several others.
"Are you safe, kids?" Phil croons, voice threaded with the sun and the moon and the Captain closes his eyes respectfully, turning away.
Safewarmhappywhatthefuckdickheadwe'refine swirls back, and Phil smiles, and the magic swirling in his eyes fades slightly as he releases the connection.
"I say it's time we leave, don't you say?" Phil asks, breaking his shackles easily as a siren begins to wail.
"Voids, how long has it been?" Jordan groans, breaking his restraints and standing up, rubbing his wrists. "I feel old."
"Nothing like a bit of destruction and maybe galaxy-tearing to bond, eh?" Philza cackles, breaking their holding cell. Whoever put them in the same cell was an idiot.
Jordan follows, glowing almost violently as a sword of darkness and the energy of a dead world drops into his hands, the alarms really blaring now.
"Nothing like it." Jordan agrees as Phil fluttering out of the way down a hallway, hands growing and curling into claws, dragged against the walls.
He watches in mild fascination as Jordan raises his sword, brings it down, and the world

And Philza Minecraft shifts, wings spreading out and beyond, dipping into the folds of the universe as he presses, and puts the world back together, albeit a little wrong.
There's distant screaming, blood dripping from the ceiling, and Phil absentmindedly plays with lightning, the flashes dancing among his fingers.
"Competition?" Jordan offers, grinning as he takes on a stance.
"Bet." Phil grins, and claws through the station, out and above into the pseudo sky. Far away is space and the stars, and Jordan is somewhere below, slashing and twirling among his opponents.
Philza grins, and brings down the first harrier strike.
