Undyne quickly made her way to the king's castle, she had already been told about more than 3 reports of a human in the ruins and needed to tell the king IMMEDIATELY. Undyne had never handled a human case, she has to make sure she is as professional as can be.
She arrives at the door of the throne room and quickly knocks, the door opening. Asgore looked at her, he was wearing a pink flowery shirt and blue sweatpants, it looked quite comfortable compared to Undyne's hot armor. Behind Asgore, sat Sans, curled up on Agore's throne like a lazy cat.
"Asgore!" She spotted Sans, and her eyebrows furrowed. "There have been multiple reports of a human in the ruins."
"I know, Sans told me." Undyne's eyebrows furrowed more. "Would you like some tea?"
"Sure." She paused. "What's Sans doing here?" Asgore looked confused before his face took the emotion of realization.
"Oh! Yes, you don't really know, do you?" Asgore smiled softly. "He's my son." Asgore smiled fondly at the memory of adopting both brothers while Undyne gasped loudly.
"REALLY?" Undyne couldn't believe it! Sans stirred and awoke, eye lights flickering on, looking at Undyne.
"hey undyne" Sans uncurled himself and sat in the chair, making some sort of yawning movement even with a mouth sealed shut.
"SANS! AAAGH WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU WERE A PRINCE?!?" Undyne rushed toward him, picking him up easily, she thought about throwing him, but decided not to, sans wasn't like papyrus. Asgore chuckled.
"didnt think it was important, guess I thought wrong, heh." Sans hung limply in her arms and Undyne suddenly came to a very large realization.
"WAIT. Is Papyrus also a PRINCE?!?!?!?"
"yeah" Her jaw almost dropped to the floor, she was friends with 2 PRINCES!
She set Sans down and suddenly had a question. "Wait- how- when?" Sans' eyelights grew dark and his usual lazy smile turned into something stiff.
"ahh… let's just say things weren't very good in uh- my first home, i guess." He shrugged and Asgore looked very uncomfortable.
"Oh, WELL, Lets celebrate this amazing discovery with spaghetti!!!!" She lifted Sans up above her head and ran out the throne room, dashing through various halls of the castle.
Asgore chuckled, grabbed his watering can, and started watering his flowers.
