Chapter Text
“Grian! Hey, Grian!” Scar called, waving at his red-sweatered friend while running towards him.
“Yeah? Need anything, Scar?” Grian responded. Grian looked like he was deep in thought, probably trying to figure out what the next building would be for his Diagon Alley or maybe analyzing an already present building.
“Uhh… yeah… I was wondering if you had any copper I could buy?” Scar responded nervously, this was his fifth time this month he had asked Grian if he had any copper.
Grian sighed and answered, “No, Scar, I already sold you all my copper a few days ago, and I haven’t gone mining since then. You really need to cut back on your copper use, honestly.”
“Yeah, I know. I was just asking just in case. It’s okay! I can stop by at Tangos! Have a good day!” Scar said, running back to his base to find his mule, Lamen.
Scar hopped on Lamen and rode southeast, with the sun high in the sky, and not a cloud in sight. What a beautiful day, Scar thought. He looked around, taking in the beauty of the server, looking at the bases and shops that he passed on his way to the Big Eyes. He loved these moments, when he could just look around and see nothing but the beautiful trees, bases, and shops across the server. He felt so lucky to be a part of it with all the other Hermits, and couldn’t imagine Hermitcraft without his friends.
Soon enough, he reached the Big Eyes part of the continent. He studied Bdubs’ mountain with awe, although he had seen it before, it still took his breath away, but he soon smiled imagining the strange-looking troll named Fifi, living in it.
Scar rode up to Tango’s house and tied Lamen up on a fence post. He entered the place, almost forgetting that he was here for copper because of being so distracted and awe-struck during his ride over. But he quickly remembered and went up to the copper room and began digging through chests.
Scar found that the chests were all empty, but before he could take a closer look, he heard none other than Tango himself behind him.
“Ahem, Scar, if you’re looking for more copper, I may need to remind you that you bought me out yesterday.”
Scar looked behind him. He felt quite small sitting on the floor, looking through chests. He looked up and saw Tango, with his combed blonde hair, and large red eyes.
“Yeah, but I was just hoping that was a small chance you restocked. Sorry to bother you. By the way, this area is looking great!” Scar replied.
The Redstoner smiled, “Hey, thanks! Your Boatem area is looking great too! And it's okay, I totally understand why you love the block. It is a great block!”
“Yeah, I guess I’ll be seeing you! Have a good day, Tango!” Scar said.
Scar walked back out to Lamen and rode back to the Boatem Village, thinking about how he really needed to go caving soon.
But little did he know how much his life was going to change.
