"You can't sit there like that all day." Simon chucked, giving you an amused look.
"Watch me." You said tugging the blanket around you tighter and falling to your side. He crooked a brow at you, "If I did that, I wouldn't get anything done today. Besides, you know I have to run the pit in," He briefly glanced at the clock on the other side of the room, "about 20 minutes."
"Then that's 20 minutes you can sit there watching me be a human burrito," You rolled your eyes, "Jeez Simon don't you know anything."
He ignored your remark, "Why are you wrapped up anyway, it's not even cold outside?"
You blinked at him a couple of times, "Obviously I'm cold!"
He sighed and spun back around in the desk chair, "Hey!" You wriggled closer to the end of the bed, "What happened to watching me for the next 20 minutes?"
He looked over his shoulder at you, "I don't have to look at you to know what you're up to, Y/N."
You pouted and squiggled closer again to the edge, "But it's meeee." You smiled a goofy grin at him as he slowly swivelled back around again.
"You should probably start getting ready, you've got no excuse to be late this morning."
You shook your head, "I'm not doing it. I'm staying here as a human burrito!"
"Whatever," he turned back around in his chair and continued scribbling away on the paper in front of him.
"What…no bite?" You said scooting closer yet again to the edge of the bed. He turned back around with a sigh as you moved too close to the edge of the bed and promptly fell to the floor when there was no more bed under you to sit on. You landed with a muffled thud, not too far from his feet. You looked up at him with a shy grin.
Ghost looked down at you with an unimpressed look on his face before flinging the loose end of your blanket up and off with one swift swoop of his foot.
"Hey! That's cold!" you protested as you tried to free an arm to pull it back down, but the tumble had wrapped you up extra good.
"I was waiting for that to happen you know."
"I could've gotten hurt Simon!" You were still rolling around trying to free yourself.
"Do you need some help?" He sat back in the chair and softly folded his arms as he enjoyed watching you struggle.
"…No. Why would I need your help."
"Fine."
You stopped fidgeting for a second to stare at him, "What're you doing?"
"Watching you be a human burrito. Just like you asked, remember."
A smile slowly broke across your face, "What a dick." You couldn't stop yourself from chuckling.
"Now c'mon," he said bending down, grabbing an edge of your blanket, "let's get you free of this mess and ready for training."
"But it's cold."
"Would a hug make up for it?"
"Only if it's a bear hug…but I get to wear your jumper too!"
He chuckled, "So predictable Y/N."
You pouted at him as he finally freed you from the tangles of cloth.
"Now, come here." He held his arms open. You crawled over to him and reached up. He wrapped his arms around you as you buried your face in his jumper.
"You smell so good." You whispered taking a deep sniff. He slowly rubbed your back, "You say that every time."
"Except when you don't." You laughed. He squeezed you tighter,
"You're a turd sometimes." He chuckled. You smiled into his chest and closed your eyes. Moments like these were simply the best with him.
"Here," He broke the hug and started to pull up his jumper. "Because you asked so nicely. But if you get it dirty, you're responsible for washing it."
"Done deal!" You reached your hands out to grab it as soon as he had it over his head. You slipped it over your head without wasting a second. So warm and so smelly!
"Thank you, Ghost!" You smiled warmly at him as you tugged the sleeves down past your hands.
He chuckled and ruffled your hair, "You're welcome. Now let's go or we'll both be late."
