The surrounding Gryffindors look sceptical.
Lily’s cheeks wear a deep blush under their scrutiny, “Um, maybe it’s a muggle thing? My sister and her friends were practising it over the summer, apparently if a bloke is able to do it then he’s likely to have… um... transferable skills.”
James’ cheeks redden at the tantalizing images this brings to mind, “I bet I can do that...”
Presenting the bowl swiped from dinner, a challenge to his fellow sixth years, Sirius wears a devious smirk.
“Prove it. Who can tie a cherry stalk with their tongue?”
