I went down to our lair. Before i entered i took a deep breath. And there i went. In to the place were have been working with Monstera for the past 3 years. Monstera but also known as Jessica bailey whom help me control my powers and in return i helped fight crime. I looked around. Jessica was sitting on the fanchy couch the mayor gave us for saving him. I walked over and sat next to her.
¨You wanted to talk?¨ I said.
¨Yes. As you know i am relatively old. And i wanted to tell you that i don't think i can be a superhero anymore. I am retiring.¨ she said.
I felt my hard pounding. Retiring? I thought. I looked down. Jess putt her arm around me and explained further.
¨I have already talked to the mayor. If you want you can take over for me butt thats a big responsebilety. And your still in school so i think it's a good idea to finish your school and then become a fulltime superhero. In the meantime a different superhero can help out.¨
¨I am going to think about it. What will happen to our hideout?¨
¨You can do whatever. Here are my keys. Please don't throw big parties here without inviting me. Also the emergency call line doesn't work anymore. And the alarms for emergencies are of to. But you can always ask Allon to help you with things.¨
¨I know. Is that all you have to say? I can guarantee that I am going to miss you.¨
My eyes filled with tears.
¨You can still come over for tea.¨
I smiled a little.
¨That would be nice.¨
