Work Text:

“Yo! Saebyeok~” Ji-Yeong whispered, knocking on Saebyeok’s window.

She rubbed her eyes for a few seconds, opening the curtain, “Jiyeong? Jiyeong!” She said as if she was reprimanding her. “It’s two in the morning!”

“So?” She said, shrugging her shoulders.

“Why are you outside my window...?” Saebyeok questioned.

Jiyeong thought for a few seconds, “don’t you wanna go somewhere fun?”

“What if my parents catch us,” Saebyeok mentioned. “I will literally never be allowed to talk to you again.”

“Create a fake body under your blanket, get dress, jump out the window, we go somewhere for two hours, come back, climb in through the window, act as nothing happened,” Jiyeong recited.

“You planned this out?!” Saebyeok said in disbelief.

“You’re gonna wake your family up if you talk this loud,” She replied in a whisper yell.

“Fine! Give me a few minutes.” Saebyeok shoved the curtains back closed, getting up and trying to find a way to make a “fake body.”

At first, she contemplated what the hell she was doing. After 2 minutes of thinking, she realized this was for Jiyeong. That idiot. She silently thought.

She loved “that idiot” though.

Eventually, Saebyeok decided on using some old clothes to make a decently believable body under her blanket.

After, she realized she had no clue where Jiyeong wanted to take her, meaning she had no clue what attire to wear. A few minutes passed before she ultimately decided on a T-shirt and jeans, casual wear.

She then returned to her window, opening the curtains once again, seeing Jiyeong there, silently waiting and looking at the sky. Saebyeok lightly knocked on the window, grabbing the latter’s attention once again.

“Hey, loser, let’s go,” she said while opening her window, stepping out to meet Jiyeong.

“I can’t believe you are actually doing this with me!” She replied, clapping her hands softly from excitement.

“If I refused you would’ve kept begging, I didn’t wanna deal with that,” she stared blankly.

“True… anyways we should really get down,” Jiyeong motioned for Saebyeok to follow her, taking a specific route down from the roof. They both climbed down, as soon as Saebyeok’s feet touched the ground, Jiyeong pulled her in for a hug by the shoulder, laughing and stumbling as she dragged her along.

“Let’s go get mojitos, have a girl’s night on me,” she suggested.

Saebyeok merely stared at the other girl, concentrating on how her skin glowed by the streetlights. Her eyes trailed down her face, from her eyes, her nose, to her lips.

“Saebyeokkie?” Jiyeong waved her hand in front of her face, “Saebyeok-”

She was interrupted by a sudden kiss. Their lips only brushed for a second, but they both knew they’d savour the kiss for as long as they could.

“Mojitos sound good, let’s go, Jiyeong.”

Her face was still flushed, “yeah, let’s go.”
