Melissa wasn't sure what today would bring, it was her first birthday without her dad, and second without Uncle Might. It hurt knowing they were gone. They'd always made a big deal about her birthday and without them she felt lost. Getting out of bed she started her day not expecting much.
Two hours later Melissa arrives at her office only to get the surprise of a lifetime. Izuku and his boyfriends Katsuki, Shouto and Eijirou are all standing there, they are holding on to a bunch of balloons and a sign, her eyes go wide.
“Happy Birthday Aunty Melissa?” She whispers.
From behind them step two little kids, a boy and girl, they look to be elementary school age.
“Hope you like your birthday surprise cousin. We didn't want you to be alone on a day you are meant to be with family.” Izuku says, smiling.
