Work Text:
It wasn’t very often that Izuku needed to bend over backwards to get what he wanted, after all he was one of Japan’s most infamous villains.
A man feared due to his association with All for One and Tomura Shigaraki while he was a part of the League of Villains and eventually the Paranormal Liberation Front. He practically had people throwing things at him just to spare their poor pathetic lives.
That all changed however, when what one could deem unobtainable to a villain caught his attention.
Izuku had been flipping through various news outlets after sending some of his best men after key members in the Commission as well as some of the Commission’s Hero lapdogs and unsurprisingly, most of them had been articles that all explained the timeline of events the exact same way with the exception of one.
The exception had been an interview, rather than an article, with two of Japan’s newest pro heroes. While he hadn’t recognized one of the heroes in the interview, he did recognize the angry red-eyed spikey haired blonde who stood next to them.
Katsuki Bakugou.
Izuku can’t help but grit his teeth as memories of everything the explosive blonde had put him through during their childhood tried to bubble back up from where he buried them in his mind. However, just before they could pull him under and consume him, the voice of the other hero with Katsuki pulled him back, defending the blonde from whatever the reporter must have said or implied.
He had to admit that it shocked him to see someone earnestly defend Katsuki without having him get upset and assuming that they thought him as incapable of doing it himself. Though, shock aside, it also piqued his interest.
What type of relationship did the two heroes have with one another?
Whatever it might be, he knew it wasn’t just strictly platonic or your average hero partnership, not with the way two looked at each when one or the other spoke. With that in mind, Izuku came to a decision.
While he wasn’t entirely sure if it was his way of getting to hurt Katsuki due to the connection they had with his dear old friend or perhaps figure out why they carried themselves with such honesty, something that many of the heroes he had met and killed didn’t seem to have, there was one thing he was sure of.
He’d have them and their attention on him. One way or another.
An unbearable pounding and disorientation.
That’s the first sensation that washes over when you come to. Followed by what you could describe as a mix of what felt like having your head underwater and your ears stuffed by cotton balls. The third sensation comes when you make an attempt to alleviate that pouding of your head. You can feel cold metal digging into your wrists when you try to lift your hands.
You make an attempt to use your quirk, only for nothing to occur, indicating to you that whatever you were restrained with or wherever you were being held was meant to cancel quirks, setting your nerves alight. Before the panic can completely take over and pull you under however, the sound of a metal door screeching open catches your attention.
“Good~ You’re awake!”
You couldn’t immediately make out the figure at first when they entered, as the only bit of light in the room was above you, but as soon as they stepped into it, your blood ran cold.
Izuku Midoriya. A man with a long track record of crimes and atrocities.
“You are one hard hero to track down, but as you can see I managed.” Izuku said, a grin on his face as he kneeled down to your level. “Though the hardest part was getting you when you weren’t anywhere near Kacchan.”
You go to ask who the hell is Kacchan? , only for it to be muffled by the gag you now feel in your mouth as whatever he had used to knock you out started to wear off, so you opt on giving him a confused look to which he seems to smirk at.
“Ah right! Only I know him by that!” He lets out an almost unhinged laugh as he reaches over to remove the gag from your mouth. “You know him better as Dynamight or Katsuki Bakugou.”
“What the hell does Katsuki have to do with you kidnapping me?” You asked with a growl.
“Everything and nothing~ Your little interview with him the other day reminded me that I have unfinished business with him.” He said simply as he rose to his feet.
“So what? I’m basically bait?”
Izuku tapped his chin in thought for a moment as if contemplating how to answer your question before smirking as he grabbed your chin between his thumb and index finger, tilting your chin up to look at him.
“Oh darling, you’re more than just bait. Sure, I do plan on using you to lure Kacchan to me, but I don’t plan on giving you back nor do I plan on letting him leave here alive.” Izuku brings his face close to yours, releasing your chin from his fingers in the process, his lips mere inches from yours. “You’ve caught my attention and that is a dangerous thing to have.” He said.
Taking advantage of the closeness and the lack of fingers keeping your chin still, you spit directly into his face, causing him to take a step back in surprise.
Recovering from the surprise from the sudden action from you, Izuku chuckles lowly as he brings a hand down across his face, wiping away the spit from his face and suddenly flames ignite in the green haired male’s hand, bringing it close enough not to burn you, but just enough that you could feel the heat radiating off the flames.
“I would hate to burn you, but test my patience and I just might." He warned before he placed the gag he had removed earlier back into your mouth. “Though with this back in your mouth, we shouldn’t have to worry about something like that happening again.”
Stepping back after making sure the gag wouldn’t somehow come loose, Izuku smirked down at you. “You know, as much as I like that voice of yours, seeing you gagged like this is such a lovely sight.” He purred as he pulled his phone out, the unmistakable sound of a photo being taken hitting your ears.
“Hope Kacchan will enjoy the sight too~”
