Chapter Text
He didn’t mean for it to happen, he truly didn’t. But the sight of of pure cataclysm proved him otherwise. Everything was reduced to ash. There were no survivors to his knowledge. It was his fault and he knew it…if he just stopped them from [OVERWRITING] the whole timeline then maybe everything would’ve been alright. But alas. His stubbornness and pride had made it his downfall. He stood at the very edge of it all, looking out into the vast nothingness of despair. What could he do now? How did he go from this? To a babybones with [HOPE] in his chest to some mindless murderer? He wanted to be a hero much like his brother. His little brother always saw the best in everyone, no matter their intentions. But he? He was hollow, nothing could ever reverse the damage placed on him. Maybe he was right to choose such a path. Sans continued to gape at the scene that lay in his field of vision. Deep in the most foolish of thoughts. His skeletal hand still gripping onto the very thing that started this all. He could feel the glass of the vial crack under his phalanges as he felt a burst of rage bubble up to it’s surface. He was alone, and he didn’t know what his next move might be. “Enjoying the scene, are we?” a voice called out, snapping him out of his thoughts. He didn’t dare turn around to face his malice-full counterpart. He simply wasn’t in the mood to be a part of this whole-multiverse-thing that he had been dragged into. “Would’ve enjoyed it more if you weren’t here” he bit back with a sneer, to which his mirror had huffed in amusement, “How spiteful of you” he replied. Stepping closer to finally stand next to him. Sans didn’t move an inch, his eye lights still trained on the area before him. Still looking to make sure someone had managed to survive the aftermath of a very pointless war between AU’s. They both stood in silence in what felt like hours until Sans had spoke once again. “Why are you here? What do you hope to gain from even going near my home?”. There had never been silence so loud than in that moment. “Satisfaction knowing you are powerless against us. With your AU gone. You have not much a purpose left.” The clone chuckled. “You should’ve known better than to side with that soul-less freak. You rolled the dice and got snake eyes, now you have killed everyone you love because of it.”. It was true, Sans was too blinded by his own confidence and desperation to see the consequences of his reckless actions. And now everything he ever knew had disappeared. “I’ll get them back.” Sans grumbled, a bit of anger making itself clear in his voice. The clone hummed in response, “Whatever you say, it will be a treat to see you fail”. With the anger that had burned up his hands with magic Sans snapped his head to his mirror to find he was gone.
“We’ll see” he muttered.
